Abstract

There are several courses at the State University of Malang, Faculty of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Department, one of which is Machine Assembly and Installation which studies knowledge related to management, procedures and materials used to assemble and install machines. The learning process is not optimal because there is no demonstration of the use of lifting aircraft due to limited availability. Therefore, learning media innovations are needed that aim to contain comprehensive material and visualizations lifting aircraft in 3D. Digital AR learning media that is easy to operate by students flexibly. Developing augmented reality-based learning media on lifting aircraft for engine assembly and installation courses and testing its feasibility are the objectives of this study. This development uses the ADDIE model. The results of this study are as follows: (1) material validation obtained a percentage value of 94.31%, which is classified as very feasible; (2) media expert validation showed the feasibility level with a percentage of 93.75%; and (3) the results of small group trials showed a very feasible level with a percentage of 90.12%. The implication of this research is to increase learning effectiveness, increase student learning motivation and facilitate teaching lecturers in the knowledge transfer process.

Abstract

This study analyzes the implementation of the DigiPay platform for MSME Empowerment and Proud of Indonesian Products from the perspective of New Public Governance (NPG), with Diffusion of Innovations Theory as the incorporated theory. The goal of DigiPay is to increase efficiency, transparency, and inclusion in government procurement of goods and services. The results show that DigiPay successfully integrates various stakeholders, including the government, the banking sector, and small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), in a digital ecosystem. This digital ecosystem supports MSME empowerment and local product marketing, and DigiPay also accelerates the procurement administration process. However, infrastructure and technological literacy still hinder the adoption of DigiPay. This research suggests improving ease of use and involving more people in adoption by using the Diffusion of Innovations Theory. To support sustainable and inclusive digital transformation, this research suggests that future researchers should strengthen cross-sector collaboration and digital education. This will also strengthen the MSME sector as part of the national economy.

Abstract

This study looks at the implementation of the Village Financial System (SISKEUDES), developed by the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP), as a strategic step in efforts to foster accountability and transparency of village finances in the perspective of New Public Governance (NPG). SISKEUDES assists village governments in financial management from planning to reporting. Even though this system has helped improve village financial governance, there are still some issues that need to be addressed. These include limited access to technology, lack of digital knowledge, and low community participation. In the context of NPG, active community participation and collaboration with various responsible parties are considered essential to create inclusive, transparent, and accountable public governance. This research uses a qualitative approach based on library research. The results show that the implementation of SISKEUDES should be supported by increased capacity of village officials, wider access to technology, and more active community participation in sustainable village development.

Abstract

Bridges represent a vital component of strategic infrastructure, facilitating the movement of traffic and the distribution of logistics. Bridges facilitate connectivity between disparate geographical regions. It is of the utmost importance to prevent damage and failure of bridge structures. Bridge structure failure is the formation of local scour at the pillars and abutments of the bridge. The objective of this research is to assess the safety of the Way Sumanda-Sukamulya Bridge in regard to the potential for scour at the pillars and abutments. Topographic surveys, instantaneous discharge, and riverbed sediment gradation were conducted for the purpose of collecting data regarding the potential for scour. Ten years of rainfall data were obtained from the Mesuji-Sekampung BBWS, which served to corroborate the design flood discharge. An evaluation of scour was conducted using the HEC-RAS 1D.  The scour depth at the pillars ranged from 1.60 m to 1.89 m, while the scour depth at the abutments reached 2.28 m to 3.17 m. It was observed that the outer bend of the river presented a greater scour depth than the inner part. It is imperative that the Way Sumanda Bridge be periodically assessed to ensure that the risk of local scour is kept to an absolute minimum.

Abstract

Traffic is a subsystem of the urban ecosystem, developing as a part of the city due to the instincts and needs of the population to move or use transport to move people and or goods from somewhere else. Blitar City is one of the cities in eastern Java with 32.58 km2 and 3 districts such as Sukorejo, Kepanjenkidul, Sananwetan. In this study we discussed a case of civil accidents under the jurisdiction of the Blitar City Police Resort. The study aims to predict and analyze the case of an accident in Blitar City in January 2024. The investigation will take place in January 2024 at the Blitar City Police Resort.The method used in this investigation is the Single Moving Average (SMA). Historical data on the number of accidents in each period is used to implement predictions using the method (SMA). The initial stage is carried out by analyzing actual data that is then applied in the method, to obtain predictive data using the parameter . The results of this study show that the SMA method can be well used to predict the number of acceptable accidents. Obtained calculations for January of 35 accidents, with MSE error values of 54,79348 and 1,543478 for MAD values. Based on the research results, it can be seen that the number of accidents in Blitar City is decreasing.

Abstract

This research aims to develop geography teaching materials based on scientific literacy, suitable for independent use and easy to understand, particularly in the atmosphere. Developing these literacy-based modules takes into account the curriculum content implemented in Indonesia and the PISA framework for scientific literacy, which includes indicators such as explaining phenomena scientifically, designing and evaluating scientific investigations, and interpreting data. The study used the R&D method with a 3D model of the Define, Design, and Develop phases. The development process involved validation tests by experts and students. Validation tests with students were carried out in two stages: the first stage involved two small groups, comprising students with high academic abilities and students with prior experience as participants in the AKM (Minimum Competency Assessment) and AKMI (Islamic Education Competency Assessment) and AKMI (Islamic Education Competency Assessment). The second stage involved a larger group of 32 randomly selected students with low, medium, and high academic abilities. The results showed that the module achieved validation scores of 84% from subject matter experts, 85% from media experts, and 84% for readability from students. These results indicate that the teaching module is highly suitable for use. This research implies that the developed teaching module can be utilized in geography learning, particularly on the topic of the atmosphere, through a scientific approach integrated with scientific literacy.

Abstract

This study seeks into the effect of multimedia-based learning on the biology learning outcomes in the excretory system topic and influence of learning motivation on biology learning outcomes in the excretory system topic. This is a pre-experiment design without a control group, involving a sample of 20 students. The research procedure for this one-group pre-test-post-test pre-experiment consists of four stages: (1) preparation or planning, (2) implementation of research/observation, (3) processing and analyzing results and testing research hypotheses, and (4) drawing conclusions from the research findings. There is a significant impact of multimedia-based learning on the biology learning outcomes in the excretory system topic for eighth-grade students at a junior high school in West Sulawesi Province. 2. There is a significant influence of learning motivation on biology learning outcomes in the excretory system topic through the application of multimedia-based learning for eighth-grade students at a junior high school in West Sulawesi Province. The multimedia-based learning has a very significant effect on learning motivation because of understanding and better understanding of the retention of learning materials. Multimedia-based learning also allows students to learn in a more visual, auditory, and kinesthetic way. In this case, multimedia can help facilitate different learning styles in students, so that they can more easily understand and remember learning materials.

Abstract

The growing demand for energy around the world is driving the development of renewable resources, and batteries are the primary choice for energy storage. To carry out effective energy management, State of Charge (SOC) estimation of Lithium-ion batteries is essential. The development of an Adaptive Neuro-Fuzzy Inference System (ANFIS) model for SOC estimation using LG 18650 HG2 battery dataset is the objective of this research. It is tested with two parameters, namely two inputs consisting of voltage and current; and three inputs consisting of voltage, current, and temperature. The shape of the membership function, number of nodes, and epochs are some of the indicators tested to find the best configuration. The results show that the three-input configuration with generalized-bell membership function (Gbell MF), five nodes, and 100 epochs has the smallest Root Mean Square Error (RMSE), which is 0.0317, compared to the best two-input configuration, which has an RMSE of 0.0527. Since the three-input configuration takes longer to train, further improvements are needed for real-time implementations such as in electric vehicle battery management systems.

Abstract

Essential nutritional components that have an important role in the growth and development of laying hens are protein and amino acids. Protein and amino acids given according to the right levels or dosages in the feed can optimize the health, productivity, and production of laying hens. The advantages and disadvantages of protein and amino acids in feed make feed more expensive, increase ammonia (NH3), and decrease production and productivity of laying hens, especially in the quality of the eggs produced. Therefore, it is necessary to optimize the use of protein and amino acids in feed. The aim is to maximize productivity by making feed formulations according to the needs of laying hens, reducing feed costs, reducing environmental pollution, and increasing profitability. Optimizing the utilization of protein and amino acids can be done with the concept of ideal amino acids, the addition of enzymes, amino acid supplementation, and the idea of reducing crude protein content in feed by emphasizing standard amino acid profile requirements. The principle of optimizing protein use is to balance needs with the amino acid content in feed by paying attention to digestibility.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the use of beach sand as an alternative material for fine aggregate in normal concrete of K-225 quality with the addition of silica fume. The method used is an experimental method by testing compressive strength and slump values. In this study, 4 types of test pieces were used, namely concrete mixture using river sand (BN), concrete mixture using beach sand (BPP), concrete mixture using beach sand with the addition of 10% silica fume (BPPSF10), and concrete mixture using beach sand with the addition of silica fume 20% (BPPSF20). Based on the test results, it can be concluded that the concrete mixture using beach sand (BPP, BPPSF10 and BPPSF20) has a lower compressive strength than the concrete mixture using river sand. The addition of silica fume to the beach sand concrete mixture by 10% and 20% can increase the compressive strength of concrete but has not been able to achieve the planned compressive strength. Meanwhile, the slump value in the concrete mixture using beach sand is lower than the slump value of the concrete mixture using river sand.
