Abstract

This study examined how well chatbot-enhanced training can help computer science students understand technical vocabulary. Semi-structured interviews were combined with a pre-test and post-test design as part of a mixed-methods strategy. With a substantial effect size (Cohen's d = 1.59) and a mean increase of 12.7%, quantitative data showed a statistically significant improvement in vocabulary scores, suggesting major practical implications. A thematic analysis of qualitative responses identified three main themes: usability limits, motivation and involvement, and perceived benefits. Students commended the chatbot's ability to offer real-time, contextual feedback and promoted deeper learning by using examples that are interwoven with coding situations. The conversational tone, individualized contact, and emotional engagement of the chatbot were credited with increasing motivation. However, some students pointed up issues including repeating outputs, overuse of synonyms, and complex instances, highlighting the necessity of adaptive content calibration. These results demonstrated that, with careful integration, AI-powered chatbots can function as efficient, customized vocabulary instructors; nevertheless, wider adoption will require enhancements to content delivery systems.

Abstract

Pasiraman Village, located in Blitar Regency, is a highland area characterized by rocky mountains and geologically classified as limestone. This condition results in less fertile, dry, and barren soil structure in the region. Given these conditions, immediate action is needed to provide clean water, with the primary goal of meeting the community's clean water needs in terms of quantity, quality, and continuity. In Pasiraman Village, the Beji spring, located at an elevation of 250 meters above sea level in Krajan Hamlet, serves as the water source, with a flow rate of 58 liters per second. This study plans the clean water distribution pipeline network using the Epanet 2.0 software. The outputs generated by Epanet 2.0 include the flow rate within the pipes and the water pressure at each point/node/junction, which are used for analyzing the operation of installations, pumps, and reservoirs. These outputs can also be used as simulations for determining the location of sources for development direction. The projected population of Pasiraman Village in 2031 is 10,873 people, with a planned water demand flow rate of 29.1796 liters per second. The dimensions of the clean water distribution pipes in Pasiraman Village will use PVC pipes of 6”, 5”, and 2.5”, and the surface reservoir dimensions will be 9 x 6 x 4.5 meters, made of reinforced concrete.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the fermentation process of white oyster mushroom baglog waste and bat guano as materials for producing multi-nutrient fertilizer, and to determine the optimal fermentation time that yields the highest levels of nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium by the 2019 Ministry of Agriculture standards. An anaerobic fermentation process was employed using white oyster mushroom baglog waste and bat guano as the primary materials, supplemented with an EM-4 bioactivator to accelerate decomposition. Fermentation was conducted over 20 days and was checked every 4 days. The research results indicate that fermentation time influences the nutrient content of the produced fertilizer. The highest nitrogen content of 2.81% was achieved on the 16th day of fermentation, while the highest phosphate content of 2.28% was recorded on the 8th day of fermentation. The highest potassium content of 3.59% was reached on the 16th day of fermentation. Based on these findings, a fermentation period of 16 days provided optimal results for nitrogen and potassium content, whereas an 8-day fermentation period yielded optimal results for phosphate content.

Abstract

Investment is crucial not only for ensuring financial independence in the future but also for protecting asset value against inflation. However, public interest in investment in Indonesia remains low, despite its potential to support the growth and stability of the capital market. This study aims to identify factors influencing investment interest, focusing on the roles of financial technology, financial inclusion, and financial literacy. The study's population consists of Generation Z members residing in Sidoarjo, with a sample of 100 respondents selected purposively using the Slovin formula. Primary data was collected through surveys, and analysis was conducted using SmartPLS. The results show that financial technology, financial inclusion, and financial literacy have a positive impact on investment interest. These findings suggest that increasing access to financial services, such as Investment Galleries and stock account openings, can enhance Generation Z’s interest in investing. Therefore, improving access and financial education could be key in encouraging more people, especially the younger generation, to participate in the capital market. The implications of this study highlight the need for policymakers and financial institutions to design targeted programs that strengthen financial awareness and accessibility for young investors.

Abstract

The Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) is a robotic innovation designed to assist in the process of delivering goods in the logistics sector of a factory. The stability of an AGV's movement has a direct impact on the safety of the goods it transports. This research aims to overcome this problem by designing and implementing an AGV mapping control system using a Fuzzy Inference System. The Load cell sensor is used as system input to measure the weight of the load carried by the AGV. The data from this sensor is then processed by the Fuzzy Inference System to produce information about the load value carried by the AGV. The research results showed that the AGV could determine the destination post when goods were placed in the load cell sensor. When the AGV was running, it went to the destination post according to the weight of the goods, and an accuracy of 100% and an error level of 5% were obtained from testing the load cell sensor.

Abstract

Ryacudu Street in Sukarame District, Bandar Lampung City is the main route connecting the city center with the Trans Sumatra Toll Road. However, the design, provision of facilities, and maintenance of sidewalks along this road do not support optimal walking feasibility. Problems found include uneven sidewalk surfaces, discontinuous designs, many physical obstacles, and minimal supporting facilities. This study aims to analyze the Walkability Index on the Ryacudu Street sidewalk using nine parameters from the Global Walkability Index (GWI) approach. The results of the analysis show that the walkability value is in the range of 50–69, which is included in the “Waiting to Walk” category. This means that some pedestrian facilities can still be used, but are not optimal in terms of comfort, safety, security, and accessibility. Therefore, improvements are needed in the physical arrangement of sidewalks, provision of facilities, public space management policies, and enforcement of pedestrian space utilization regulations. This analysis provides strategic information on areas that need to be improved based on the value of each parameter analyzed.

Abstract

This study analyzes the influence of accessibility, regional connectivity, and land use on the satisfaction of Harjamukti LRT users in Depok City. A quantitative approach was applied using multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS version 26. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 100 active LRT users. The findings reveal that accessibility, connectivity, and land use have a positive and significant effect on user satisfaction both partially and simultaneously. Adequate accessibility improves station reachability and reduces travel burdens. Good intermodal connectivity facilitates seamless transfers and minimizes waiting time. Supportive land use around the station, such as commercial centers and residential areas, enhances comfort and user activities. Overall, the integration of these three factors improves travel experience, increases mobility efficiency, and provides policy recommendations for sustainable public transport development. These findings are essential for urban planners, transportation operators, and policymakers to design interventions that significantly promote massive public adoption of the LRT system.

Abstract

The use of oral contraceptive pills (OCPs) is widely recognized as an effective method of birth control among women of reproductive age. However, prolonged exposure to synthetic estrogen and progesterone may pose a risk for gallstone formation (cholelithiasis). This study aimed to investigate the association between the duration of OCP use and the incidence of cholelithiasis in reproductive-age women. Employing a quantitative cross-sectional approach, 100 purposively selected female respondents aged 20–45 years were assessed through structured questionnaires, interviews, and confirmed ultrasonography (USG) results. Statistical analyses using Chi-Square and Spearman’s rank correlation revealed a significant relationship between longer duration of pill use and increased risk of gallstone formation (p < 0.05). These findings underscore the hepatobiliary impact of long-term hormonal contraceptive use, even in asymptomatic users. The novelty of this research lies in highlighting duration as a predictive factor, which has not been emphasized in current family planning policies. This study recommends integrating risk-based contraceptive counseling and early detection protocols into primary health care services, particularly for long-term users. Further longitudinal studies are necessary to confirm causal relationships and expand the applicability of these findings.
