Abstract

Abstract: The study was aimed to describe the teachers’ perceptions of the concepts of the authentic assessment, performance assessment, project assessment, portfolio assessment, and written tests. The results of the study suggested that the teachers’ perceptions of the authentic assessment concept were categorized as good (61.3%), the teachers’ perceptions of the project assessment were categorized as very good (70.2%), the teachers’ perceptions of the portfolio assessment were categorized as good enough (59.8%), and the teachers’ perceptions of the written tests were categorized as good (62%).Keywords: teachers’ perceptions, authentic assessment, elementary schools.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan medeskripsikan persepsi guru tentang konsep penilaian autentik, penilaian kinerja, penilaian proyek, penilaian portofolio, dan penilaian tertulis. Hasil penelitian menunjukan persepsi guru terhadap konsep penilaian autentik termasuk kategori baik (61,3%), persepsi guru terhadap penilaian kinerja termasuk kategori baik (66,25%), persepsi guru terhadap penilaian proyek termasuk kategori sangat baik (70,2%), persepsi guru terhadap penilaian portofolio termasuk kategori cukup baik (59,8%), dan persepsi guru terhadap penilaian tertulis termasuk kategori baik (62%).Kata Kunci: persepsi guru, penilaian otentik, sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims at producing students’ worksheet as teaching aid to raise proper scientific character for students in accordance with material experts, media expert, and users appraisement. Product’s validation was attained from the experts of material and media. The result of try-out was used as the base of product revision. From the result of trying out, we found that: the accuracy of the concept; the proper content and implementation; the proper format, content, and presentation; the proper application and legibility; in addition, the students stated that they were delighted in doing the try-out. In applying the students’ worksheet, teachers should read technical instructions for implementation before doing try-out and giving relevant alternative activities.Keywords: students’ worksheet, scientific, scientific character, primary school students.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan LKS sebagai alat bantu guru dalam menumbuhkan karakter ilmiah siswa yang layak berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, dan pengguna. Penelitian pengembangan ini menggunakan model Dick, Carey dan Carey. Validasi produk diperoleh dari ahli materi dan ahli media. Uji coba produk skala kecil dilakukan pada siswa kelas IV SDN Madyopuro 3 Malang. Hasil temuan uji coba digunakan dasar revisi produk. Dari hasil uji coba ditemukan: aspek keakuratan konsep, isi dan keterlaksanaan dinilai layak; format, isi. dan tampilan dinilai sangat layak; keterterapan dan keterbacaan dinilai layak; siswa menyatakan sangat senang melakukan percobaan. Mereka memberi masukan untuk waktu dan ruang jawaban perlu ditambah. Dalam menerapkan LKS hendaknya guru membaca petunjuk teknis pelaksanaan sebelum melakukan percobaan dan memberikan contoh alternatif kegiatan percobaan yang relevan.Kata kunci: LKS, saintifik, karakter ilmiah, siswa SD

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at analyzing academic dissemination and achievement motivation in school-age children in rural families. The subject of this study is a complete family who has children in an elementary school chosen randomly through proportional method amounting to 100. The results showed that parents and teachers are still low in instilling the value of education. Another thing from the study showed a significant positive correlation between the academic dissemination of parents and teachers with the dimensions of intrinsic achievement motivation. In addition, the results found that the academic socialization of parents influences the intrinsic achievement motivation.Keywords: achievement motivation, academic socialization of teachers, parentsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis sosialisasi akademik dan motivasi berprestasi anak usia sekolah pada keluarga di pedesaan. Subyek penelitian ini adalah keluarga lengkap yang memiliki anak yang bersekolah di SD terpilih yang dipilih melalui metode acak proporsional yang berjumlah 100. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan orang tua dan guru masih rendah dalam menanamkan nilai-nilai pendidikan. Hal lain dari penelitian menunjukkan adanya hubungan positif signifikan antara sosialisasi akademik orang tua dan guru dengan dimensi motivasi berprestasi intrinsik. Selain itu, hasil menemukan bahwa sosialisasi akademik orang tua berpengaruh terhadap motivasi berprestasi intrinsik.Kata kunci: motivasi berprestasi, eksternal, internal, sosialisasi akademik guru, orang tua

Abstract

Abstract: This qualitative research with multi-case research design was intended to describe the values of characters implemented at two religion based elementary schools. The data was collected by using in-depth interview, participant observation, and documentation. The data was analyzed through two steps which were individual case data analysis and cross case data analysis. The results of the study suggested that values of the character building were implemented in the school daily life and were integrated into the teaching and learning processes in the classrooms.Keywords: management, characters, education and religion, elementary schools.Abstrak: Penelitian kualitatif dengan rancangan multikasus ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan nilai-nilai karakter yang diterapkan di dua SD berbasis relegi. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan wawancara mendalam, observasi peran serta, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan dengan dua cara, yaitu analisis data kasus individu dan analisis data lintas kasus. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan penanaman nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di sekolah dan diintegrasikan ke dalam proses pembelajaran di dalam kelas.Kata Kunci: : manajemen, karakter, pendidikan,dan keagamaan, SD.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at developing a media card for basic reading skill on first graders of elementarys chool. To achieve this goal, this research used qualitative research approach. Based on the results of small group trials the following data are obtained regarding the media: (1) 100% enjoyable, (2) 100% secure, (3) 100% easy, and (4) 96,87% appropriate language use. In accordance with the large group trials, the following data are obtained (1) 94% enjoyable (2) 100% secure (3) 94% easy-to-use (4) 97,18% appropriate language use. Based on the data that has been obtained above, word card media can be used without revision as an alternative learning in Indonesian language learning to practice the skills basic reading on first graders of elementary school.Keywords: development, media word cards, basic reading, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media kartu kata untuk membaca permulaan kelas 1 SD. Untuk mencapai tujuan tersebut penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba kelompok kecil diperoleh data sebagai berikut (1) Kesenangan 100%, (2) Keamanan 100%, (3) Kemudahan 100%, (4) Aspek bahasa 96,87%. Berdasarkan uji coba kelompok besar diperoleh data sebagai berikut (1) Kesenangan 94% (2) Keamanan 100%(3) Kemudahan 94% (4) Aspek bahasa 97,18%. Abstract

Abstract: The current study was intended to investigate the teaching and learning situations on addition of integer teaching and learning at the fourth grade of elementary schools which used the set model and the integer play card. The method utilized was design research. The Realistic Mathematics Education (RME) was the basis for the context design and activities. The results of the study suggested that the activities of making notes on the money transactions in the form of two-color coins and playing integer cards could trigger the students’ thinking strategy in adding the integer.Keywords: set model, addition, integer play card.Abstrak: penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menginvestigasi situasi pembelajaran penjumlahan bilangan bulat di kelas IV SD dengan menggunakan set model dan permainan remi bilbul. Metode yang digunakan adalah design research. PMRI mendasari desain konteks dan aktivitas. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan aktivitas mencatat transaksi keuangan dalam keping dua warna dan permainan remi bilbul dapat memunculkan strategi berpikir siswa dalam menjumlahkan bilangan bulat.Kata Kunci: set model, penjumlahan, permainan remi bilbul.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at describing the process of writing the description, the results of writing description and described writing a description assessment. The approach of this study employed descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects are all second graders in SDN Pandanwangi 1 Malang. The data collection techniques were observation, documentation, and interviews. The result of this research indicated that the ability to write a description in second graders of SDN Pandanwangi 1 remains low. Only 46% of students were able to write a description of a total number of 39 students. Students who have not been able to write descriptions as much as 64%. The results of writing a description can be concluded that students who use capital letters and periods were 21 students, the students who wrote the text in accordance with the title were 32 students, the students who wrote the appropriate words were 32 students, and students who use effective sentence were 31 students.Keywords: writing descriptions, curriculum 2013, elementary school studentAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan proses menulis deskripsi, hasil menulis deskripsi, dan mendeskripsikan penilaian menulis deskripsi. Pendekatan penelitan yang digunakan deskriptif kualitatif. Subyek penelitian seluruh siswa kels 2 SDN Pandanwangi 1 Kota Malang. Teknik pengumpulan data: observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini adalah kemampuan menulis deskripsi siswa kelas 2 Bintang SDN Pandanwangi 1 masih 46 % siswa yang mampu menulis deskripsi dari jumlah seluruhnya ada 39 siswa. Siswa yang belum mampu menulis deskripsi sebanyak 64%. Hasil menulis deskripsi dapat disimpulkan bahwa siswa yang menggunakan huruf besar dan tanda titik ada 21 siswa, siswa yang menulis teks sesuai dengan judul ada 32 siswa, siswa yang menulis kata dengan tepat ada 32 siswa, dan siswa yang menggunakan kalimat efektif ada 31 siswa.Kata kunci: menulis deskripsi, kurikulum 2013, siswa kelas SD

Abstract

the school climate and the satisfaction of the teachers in West Bandung Regency. The research method used was descriptive associative. The population of teachers and principals of public and private elementary schools in Bandung Regency was 751 people. The samples which were chosen through random sampling technique were 112 people. The results of the study suggested that managerial competences had 54.8% influence on the teachers’ job satisfaction; the school climate had 44.2% influence on the teachers’ job satisfaction; managerial competences and school climate had 65% influence on the teachers’ job satisfaction.Keywords: managerial competences, principals, school climate, teachers’ satisfaction, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dalam membangun iklim sekolah dan kepuasan guru pada sekolah dasar di Kabupaten Bandung. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif- asosiatif. Populasi guru dan kepala sekolah SD Negeri dan Swasta di Kabupaten Bandung 751 orang. Sampel mengacu pada sampling random sebanyak 112 orang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 54,8%; pengaruh iklim sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 44,2%; pengaruh kompetensi manajerial kepala sekolah dan iklim sekolah terhadap kepuasan kerja guru sebesar 65%.Kata Kunci: kompetensi manajerial, kepala sekolah, iklim sekolah, kepuasan guru, SD.

Abstract: This study aims at designing multimedia-based literacy learning model and PAIKEM (Active, Innovative, Creative, Effective, Fun) approach in a remote area of West Java. This research used Research Development approach in two schools within the remote area in Subang and Bandung District Barat. The result of this research showed that teachers in remote areas of West Java require training materials and methods based on PAIKEM literacy and the use of computers for learning media. Abstract

Abstract: The aimed of this research is to describe the mistakes of the students grade VI in elemetary school that is related to addition and subtraction fraction operation and the causal factors. This research used explanatory design. the data is in the form of test. The result of this research indicated that 61% students do mistakes in addition fraction operation and 63,3% students do mistakes in subtraction fraction operation. The mistakes consist of misprochedure, misconception, misinterpretation of the directions, careless, wrong implementation, and unstudied. According to those datum, the result of discussion can be summed up that the mistakes of the students in addition fraction operation reach 61% and subtraction fraction operation reach 63,3%.Keyword: students’ mistakes, addition, subtraction, fractions.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kesalahan siswa kelas VI SD terkait dengan operasi penjumlahan dan pengurangan pecahan serta faktor penyebabnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan explanatory design. Data berupa hasil tes. Hasil penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa 61% siswa mengalami kesalahan pada operasi penjumlahan pecahan dan 63,3% siswa pada operasi pengurangan pecahan. Kesalahan siswa meliputi kesalahan prosedur, kesalahan konsep, kesalahan dalam menyalahartikan petunjuk, kesalahan karena kecerobohan, kesalahan aplikasi, dan kesalahan belajar. Berdasarkan paparan data hasil pembahasan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa kesalahan siswa pada operasi penjumlahan pecahan mencapai 61% dan pada operasi pengurangan pecahan mencapai 63,3%.Kata kunci: kesalahan siswa, penjumlahan, pengurangan, pecahan.
