Abstract

Abstract: Didactic design of mathematic understanding competency of block and cube in fourthgrade elementary school student. Purpose of the research was to describe: (1) learning obstacles of mathematic understanding competency, (2) design of didactic learning material based on development of a block and cube material understanding competency, (3) implementation of the design of didactic learning material based on development of a block and cube material understanding competency. The research used didactic design research and analyzed qualitatively. An instrument was writing test. Research procedure: prospective analysis, experiment and restropective analysis. Prosedur penelitian: prospective analysis, eksperiment dan retrospective analysis. Abstract

Abstract: the current study was intended to (1) find the model of character building for elementary school students, and (2) test the effectiveness of the character building model for elementary school students. The study utilized descriptive qualitative method. The data was collected by using observation, interview, document analysis, and test. The analysis technique of the interactive model and the product tryout were conducted by using experimental technique. The results of the study were (1) the early product development was prepared in such a way that the students would find the values by questioning and internalization processes through role playing, it would be meaningful if it was followed by making them habit in other relevant subjects, modeling, and giving examples; and (2) model could be used to effectively build the characters of the students in elementary schools.Keywords: characters, children story, ethic-spiritual values, elementary schoolsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan (1) menemukan model pendidikan budi pekerti untuk siswa SD, dan (2) menguji keefektifan model pendidikan budi pekerti untuk siswa SD. Penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif-kualitatif. Pengumpulan data menggunakan terknik observasi, wawancara, analisis dokumen, dan tes. Teknik analisis model interaktif dan pengujian produk dengan teknik eksperimen. Hasil penelitian, (1) pengembangan awal model dikemas sampai pada tahap siswa menemukan nilai melalui pertanyaan-pertanyaan dan proses internalisasi melalui bermain peran, hal itu bermakna bila ditindaklanjuti dengan pembiasaan pada mata pelajaran lain yang relevan, pemodelan, dan keteladan; dan (2) model dapat digunakan untuk pembangunan karakter siswa secara efektif di SD.Kata kunci: budi pekerti, cerita anak, nilai etis-spiritual, SD.

Abstract

Abstract: this research aimed at describing the effectivity of teaching method and basic phisical act toward dribling ball skill in football section of elemenary students. This research was done by using exprimental study. The analysis of the data used Anava 2 ways method. The result showed that: (1) there are significant differences of dribling ball skill between the students who taught by applying drilling method and TAKTIS. (2) A drilling method in groups which have higher motoric than TAKTIS method. (3)There are no significant differences in groups of low basic phisical act that is taught with drilling teaching method and TAKTIS method. (4) There are no influences factors of interaction beween teaching method with basic motoric ability toward dribling skill in football.Keywords: teaching method, basic motoric, dribling ball.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui efektivitas metode pembelajaran dan kemampuan gerak dasar terhadap keterampilan dribling permainan sepak bola siswa SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Analisis data menggunakan Anava 2 jalur. Hasil: (1) terdapat perbedaan signifikan keterampilan dribling permainan sepak bola antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode drill dengan siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran taktis. (2) Metode drill pada kelompok berkemampuan motorik tinggi lebih dari metode taktis. (3) Tidak terdapat perbedaan signifikan pada kelompok berkemampuan gerak dasar rendah antara kelompok siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran drill dengan siswa yang diajar dengan metode pembelajaran taktis. (4) Tidak terdapat pengaruh faktor interaksi antara metode mengajar dengan kemampuan motorik dasar terhadap keterampilan dribling permainan sepak bola.Kata kunci: Metode pembelajaran, motorik dasar, dribling bola.

Abstract

Abstract: The study aims at finding the pattern of the right development of anti-corruption education through the use of honest school canteen system (kantin kejujuran) for primary school students. The study was done in descriptive qualitative and also quantitative study. The data were obtained through giving the questionnaire to the headmasters and teachers at primary school. Both of qualitative and quantitative data from teachers and students were analysed in the descriptive analysis. The result of the study showed that honest school canteen system (kantin kejujuran ) can help primary school students to internalize discipline and honesty values. In conclusion, the development of anti-corruption education at primary schools has to be integrated into classroom activities and real-life activities at school.Keywords: anti-corruption education, honest school canteen system.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan menemukan pola pengembangan pendidikan antikorupsi yang tepat melalui pemanfaatan kantin kejujuran bagi para siswa Sekolah Dasar. Penelitian ini dilakukan secara deskriptif kualitatif maupun kuantitatif. Pengambilan data menggunakan angket yang ditujukan pada kepala sekolah dan para guru kelas. Data penelitian ini dianalisis secara deskriptif, baik berupa data kuantitif maupun data kualitatif, data dari guru maupun data dari siswa. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kantin kejujuran sebagai proses internalisasi nilai kejujuran dan kedisiplinan anak SD. Kesimpulannya pengembangan pendidikan antikorupsi di sekolah dasar perlu dilaksanakan secara terintegrasi dengan berbagai teme pembelajaran di kelas dan praktik kehidupan di sekolah.Kata kunci : pendidikan antikorupsi, kantin kejujuran

Abstract

emotional intelligence of the elementary school students in Medan city. This study utilized two exogenous variables which were parenting and teachers’ competence and two endogenous variables as well which were the teaching and learning quality and emotional intelligence. There were 511 students and 68 teachers coming from 11 schools schools as the samples of the study. The results suggested that the students’ emotional intelligence was 82% affected by the parenting and 34% was influenced by the teaching and learning. The teachers’ competence gave 12% contribution to the teaching and learning which implied that the teaching and learning quality was dominantly affected by factors other than the 4 teachers’ competences.Keywords: construct model, emotional intelligent, elementary school studentsAbstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendapatkan gambaran model konstruk kecerdasan emosional siswa SD Kota Medan. Pada penelitian ini melibatkan dua ubahan eksogen, yaitu: pola asuh dan kompetensi guru, serta dua ubahan endogen, yaitu: kualitas pembelajaran dan kecerdasan emosional. Sampel 11 sekolah, dengan jumlah 511 siswa; dan 68 guru. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kecerdasan emosional siswa SD 82% dipengaruhi oleh pola asuh orang tua; dan 34% oleh kualitas pembelajaran. Kompetensi yang dimiliki guru memberi sumbangan sebesar 12% terhadap kualitas pembelajaran, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kualitas pembelajaran dominan dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain di luar 4 kompetensi guru.Kata Kunci: Model Konstruk, Kecerdasan Emosional, Siswa SD.

Abstract

Abstract: This study is designed to describe the reading difficulties on basic reading within first graders of elementary school. The research used the qualitative approach with case study method. The subject of this study is first graders of elementary school. The data collection were gerenated from observation and interviews. The thematic analysis and the validity of the data were using triangulation and reflexivity. The results showed that the difficulty in basic reading of first graders of elementary school are: (1) inability to identify diphthong, vocal double, and consonant cluster, (2) inability to read a sentence, (3) reading haltingly, (4) inability to mention a few consonants, (5) inability to spell well, (6) reading carelessly, (7) quickly forgeting the word he or she has been spelled, (8) adding and replacing words, (9) long-period of spelling, and (10) inability to read thoroughly.Keywords: trouble, basic reading, elementary school, spell, ideas, elementary schoolAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kesulitan membaca permulaan di kelas I SD. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Subjek siswa kelas I. Teknik pengumpulan data observasi dan wawancara. Analisis tematik sedangkan validitas data menggunakan triangulasi dan refleksivitas. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa kesulitan dalam membaca permulaan siswa kelas I SD yaitu: (1) belum mampu membaca diftong, vokal rangkap, dan konsonan rangkap, (2) belum mampu membaca kalimat, (3) membaca tersendat-sendat, (4) belum mampu menyebutkan beberapa huruf konsonan, (5) belum bisa mengeja, (6) membaca asal-asalan, (7) cepat lupa kata yang telah diejanya, (8) melakukan penambahan dan penggantian kata, (9) waktu mengeja cukup lama, dan (10) belum mampu membaca dengan tuntas.Kata kunci: kesulitan, membaca permulaan, sekolah dasar , mengeja, gagasan

Abstract

Abstract: Most people considered that proficient in a language meant fluent in speaking. The speaking skills were always related to the listening skills. Without having good listening skills, anybody’s speaking skills would not be perfect. Therefore, the listening skills were needed in order to achieve the perfection of other language proficiency. To achieve the listening skills, especially listening to the second or foreign language on basic or beginner level, there were several alternative teaching and learning model which could be implemented. The alternative models were classified into several points of view. Determining the proper teaching and learning needed skills in choosing by considering the purpose of the listening teaching and learning, the students’ scheme, the text’s conditions, and the development of the students’ cognitive.Keywords: teaching and learning model, listening, second/foreign languageAbstrak: Sebagian besar orang menganggap bahwa mahir berbahasa berarti mahir berbicara. Keterampilan berbicara selalu terkait dengan keterampilan menyimak.Tanpa berbekal keterampilan menyimak yang bagus, keterampilan berbicara seseorang tidak akan sempurna. Karena itu, keterampilan menyimak sangat diperlukan demi kesempurnaan keterampilan berbahasa yang lain. Untuk mencapai kompetensi menyimak, khususnya menyimak bahasa kedua/asing pada level dasar atau pemula, ada berbagai alternasi model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan. Alternasi model pembelajaran yang dimaksud terklasifikasi atas beberapa sudut pandang. Untuk menentukan model pembelajaran yang tepat, diperlukan kecakapan dalam memilihnya dengan mempertimbangkan tujuan pembelajaran menyimak, skema siswa, kondisi teks, dan perkembangan kognisi siswa. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims at describing the effect of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) and Problem Posing method and the ability to think critically regarding science literacy. This research employed experimental treatment by the level of 2 x 2 design. The data of this research was analyzed using two paths the analysis of variance (ANOVA). The result of this research indicated four things, namely; (1) the ability of science literacy among groups of students who are taught using the CPS is higher than group of students taught using methods problem posing; (2) there is an interaction effect between the learning method and the critical thinking skills to the ability of science literacy; (3) the ability of scientific literacy among students with critical thinking skills CPS method is higher than students who treated using problem posing method; (4) the ability of scientific literacy among students with low critical thinking skills using CPS is lower than students using problem posing method. Keywords: CPS Method, Problem Posing, critical thinking, scientific literacy, elementary school.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan pengaruh penerapan metode Creative Problem Solving (CPS) dan Problem Posing, serta kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap literasi sains. Metode yang digunakan eksperimen dengan desain treatment by level 2 x 2. Teknik analsis varians dua jalur (ANAVA). Hasil dari penelitian ini terdiri dari empat hal yakni; (1) kemampuan literasi sains antar kelompok siswa yang diajar menggunakan metode CPS lebih tinggi dari kelompok siswayang diajar menggunakan metode problem posing; (2) terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara metode pembelajaran dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis terhadap kemampuan literasi sains; (3) kemampuan literasi sains antar siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis tinggi yang diberikan metode CPS lebih tinggi dari siswa yang diperlakukan metode problem posing; (4) kemampuan literasi sains antar siswa dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis rendah yang diberikan CPS lebih rendah dari siswa yang diberikan perlakuan metode problem posing.Kata kunci: Metode CPS, Problem Posing,berpikir kritis, literasi sains, SD.

Abstract

Abstract: The purpose of the study was to describe the relation among the organizational climate of the schools and the job satisfaction as well as the spirit at work of the Catholic elementary school teachers in Merauke city, Papua. The samples of the study were 97 (78.86%) out of 123 teachers as the population. The research data was obtained by using questionnaire. The data was analyzed by using SPSS for Windows version 21 software. The results of the study suggested that there was significant relation between organizational climate at schools and the teachers’ job satisfaction as well as their spirit at work. The results also showed the significant relation between the teachers’ job satisfaction and their spirit at work at Catholic elementary schools in Merauke city.Keywords: organizational climate at schools, job satisfaction, spirit at work, teachers of elementary schools.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan hubungan iklim organisasi sekolah dan kepuasan kerja dengan semangat kerja guru-guru SD Katolik di Kota Merauke, Papua. Abstract

Abstract: the aimed of this research is to described the model of teaching politeness in Javanese language at elementary school. the variety of activities that is done by the teacher’s and the students during the process of teaching politeness in javanese language subject at SDN Penanggungan Malang. The approach that was used in this research is qualitative methodology. The data was collected during the process of teaching javanese langage subject at SDN Penanggungan Malang which is done through the problem case study used qualitative analysis. Therfore, this research will result in the construction models of the practice teaching politeness in javanese language at elementary school. Model immersion learning is model of teaching which has attempt to directly involve the students in the learning process.Keywords: teaching, politeness, and javanese language.Abstrak: Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan model Pembelajaran Unggah-Ungguh Bahasa Jawa di Sekolah Dasar. Aktifitas apasaja yang dilakukan oleh siswa dan guru dalam pembelajaran unggah-ungguh Bahasa Jawa di SDN Penanggungan Kota Malang. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif. Data diperoleh melalui praktik Pembelajaran Bahasa Jawa di SDN Penanggungan Kota Malang, melalui penelitian studi kasus dengan analisis kualitatif, maka penelitian ini akan menghasilkan konstruksi Model Praktik Pembelajaran Unggah-Ungguh Bahasa Jawa di Sekolah Dasar. Model Immersion Learning adalah model pembelajaran yang berupaya mencelupkan langsung diri siswa ke dalam proses belajar.Kata kunci: profil pembelajaran, unggah-unggguh bahasa Jawa.
