Abstract

Abstract: Most people considered that proficient in a language meant fluent in speaking. The speaking skills were always related to the listening skills. Without having good listening skills, anybody’s speaking skills would not be perfect. Therefore, the listening skills were needed in order to achieve the perfection of other language proficiency. To achieve the listening skills, especially listening to the second or foreign language on basic or beginner level, there were several alternative teaching and learning model which could be implemented. The alternative models were classified into several points of view. Determining the proper teaching and learning needed skills in choosing by considering the purpose of the listening teaching and learning, the students’ scheme, the text’s conditions, and the development of the students’ cognitive.Keywords: teaching and learning model, listening, second/foreign languageAbstrak: Sebagian besar orang menganggap bahwa mahir berbahasa berarti mahir berbicara. Keterampilan berbicara selalu terkait dengan keterampilan menyimak.Tanpa berbekal keterampilan menyimak yang bagus, keterampilan berbicara seseorang tidak akan sempurna. Karena itu, keterampilan menyimak sangat diperlukan demi kesempurnaan keterampilan berbahasa yang lain. Untuk mencapai kompetensi menyimak, khususnya menyimak bahasa kedua/asing pada level dasar atau pemula, ada berbagai alternasi model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan. Alternasi model pembelajaran yang dimaksud terklasifikasi atas beberapa sudut pandang. Untuk menentukan model pembelajaran yang tepat, diperlukan kecakapan dalam memilihnya dengan mempertimbangkan tujuan pembelajaran menyimak, skema siswa, kondisi teks, dan perkembangan kognisi siswa. Kata-kata kunci: model pembelajaran, menyimak, bahasa kedua/asing.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe the complexity of sentences based on the structure and its elements. This research uses qualitative approach and cross sectional design. Data in this research is in the form of Indonesian sentence from students’ essay seen from element and its structure. The data of this research is written by students of grade IV, V, and VI SDN Kampungdalem 1 and SDN Suwaluh 1. The result of this study shows (1) based on the structure, students have been able to arrange seven basic sentence patterns and compose three varieties of transformation sentences, and (2) based on its elements, students have used different types of word classes including nouns, verbs, adjectives, and pronouns.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompleksitas kalimat berdasarkan struktur dan unsurnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan dengan rancangan cross sectional. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kalimat bahasa Indonesia dalam karangan siswa dilihat dari unsur dan strukturnya. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah karangan yang ditulis siswa kelas IV, V, dan VI SDN Kampungdalem 1 dan SDN Suwaluh 1. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) berdasarkan strukturnya siswa telah mampu menyusun tujuh pola kalimat dasar dan menyusun tiga ragam kalimat tranformasi, dan (2) berdasarkan unsurnya siswa telah menggunakan beragam jenis kelas kata, meliputi nomina, verba, ajektiva, dan pronomina.

Abstract

Abstract: The development of a child?s sentences is influenced by the development of his age. The development of a child?s sentences is seen based on the suitability of the word selection with the meaning between predicate and argumen (s-select) and suitability of the categorial selection with the sentence element function between predicate and argumen (c-select). This study aims to describe the development of s-select and c-select in sentences of children 4?9 years old. This research uses qualitative approach. This research type is cross-sectional. Data in this research are children?s sentences containings-select and c-select from children utterances 4?9 years old. There are 3 research result from s-select sentences (1) children aged 4?8 years mastering 11 theta roles and children aged 9 years 13 theta roles, (2) there are 4 kinds of s-select sentences based on the number of the theta roles present, and (3) there are 3 theta roles that can occupy in external arguments, 3 theta roles in internal arguments, 6 theta roles in complement, and 6 theta roles in adjunct. There are 2 research result from c-select sentences (1) child sentences are developed with lexical core V, N, Adj, Num. and Prep and (2) External and internal arguments with categories FN, FN with adjunct, FN coordination, complement with categories FN, FN with adjunct, FN coordination, FA, FV, FNum, and FPrep, and adjunct categorized as FN, FA, and FPrep in sentences with FV predicate, while the other four sentences with FN and FPrep as adjunct.Abstrak: Perkembangan kalimat anak dipengaruhi perkembangan usianya. Perkembangan kalimat anak dilihat dari kesesuaian pemilihan kata dengan makna antara predikat dengan argumennya (s-select) dan kesesuaian pemilihan komponen kategori frasa dengan fungsi unsur kalimat antara predikat dengan argumennya (c-select). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan s-select dan c-select dalam kalimat anak usia 4?9 tahun. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Jenis penelitian ini adalahcross-sectional research (lintas-seksi). Data penelitian ini adalah kalimat anak yang mengandungs-select dan c-select yang bersumberdari tuturan anak usia 4?9 tahun Hasil penelitian perkembangan kalimat secara s-select ada tiga, yaitu (1) anak usia 4?8 tahun menguasai 11 peran theta dan anak usia 9 tahun 13 peran theta, (2) ada 4 macam s-select kalimat berdasarkan jumlah peran theta yang hadir, dan (3)ada 3 peran theta yang dapat menduduki argumen luar, 3 peran theta pada argumen dalam, 6 peran theta pada komplemen, dan 6 peran theta pada keterangan tambahan. Hasil penelitian perkembangan kalimat secara c-select ada 2, yaitu (1) kalimat anak dikembangkan dengan inti leksikal V, N, Adj, Num, dan Prep dan (2) argumen luar dan dalam dengan kategori FN, FN berpenjelas dan FN koordinasi, komplemen dengan kategori FN, FN berpenjelas, FN koordinasi, FV, FA, FNum, dan FPrep, dan keterangan tambahan berkategori FN, FA, dan FPrep pada kalimat berpredikat FV, sedangkan keempat kalimat berpredikat yang lain berkategori FN dan FPrep pada keterangan tambahannya.

Abstract

One of teacher obligations is managing the class which is maintaining the optimal learning conditions. The class management of the design of the elementary school literacy learning model from research results needs to be examined in hope that it can be taken into consideration for managing classes in schools. With that consideration, the purpose of this study is to describe the results of the metasynthesis of classroom management research design of the elementary literacy learning model in terms of (1) the beginning, (2) the core, and (3) the end of learning. The design used is qualitative with metasynthesis research. The research data is in the form of verbal classroom management data at the beginning, core, and end of the design of elementary literacy learning models that is taken from student research documentations of the results of class development and action. Data is taken by documentation techniques and analyzed based on data analysis guidelines through the following procedures: reading research results, identifying data, reducing data, analyzingsynthesizing, validating analysis results, concluding, and interpreting results. The results showed that the classroom management of elementary literacy learning model design was seen at each stage of learning with varying classroom management

Abstract

Abstract: Online teaching materials are urgently needed during a pandemic because of the limited distance to study directly to the destination country. Grammar material is one of the materials that must be taught, especially for beginner BIPA students. Therefore, the aim of this study was to produce teaching materials and online guides for BIPA 2 grammar. The development research model was adapted from Borg and Gall (1983). The results of the validation test and practitioner test state that this teaching material is feasible and needs to be revised and very feasible and does not need to be revised. The total results of the validation of BIPA material experts and practitioners were 84.8%, validation of learning technology was 95.5%, and limited field testing was 92.13%. Abstrak: Bahan ajar daring sangat dibutuhkan pada masa pandemi karena keterbatasan jarak untuk belajar langsung ke negara tujuan. Materi tata bahasa merupakan salah satu materi yang harus diajarkan, khususnya untuk pelajar BIPA tingkat pemula. Oleh karena itu, tujuan penlitian ini adalah menghasilkan bahan ajar dan panduan daring tata bahasa BIPA 2. Model penelitian pengembangan mengadaptasi dari Borg dan Gall (1983). Hasil uji validasi dan uji praktisi menyatakan bahwa bahan ajar ini layak dan perlu direvisi serta sangat layak dan tidak perlu direvisi. Hasil total validasi ahli materi BIPA dan praktisi 84.8%, validasi teknologi pembelajaran 95.5%, dan uji lapangan terbatas 92.13%.

Abstract

In literacy learning, the text has multiple roles. Many teachers worry about text positions in literacy learning. The text acts as a learning medium if it works directly as a messenger of learning that makes students easier to learn. For that purpose, the text needs to be modified, manipulated, and given a special identity in accordance with the interests of learning. The text acts as a learning material if the text serves as an object learned in learning. In order for the text to serve as a learning material, the text needs to be identified, analyzed, and interpreted in accordance with the learning objectives. The text also serves as a learning resource if the text serves as the source of the content of the material learned in the study. For this purpose, the textreveals its original form without any changes and treatment. Regardless of the role of the text in learning, the text can function to develop students' critical thinking skills so they can welcome and play a role in nation building. In order for the text to have a role it can train students to think critically; the form, treatment, and function of the text need to be differentiated.

Abstract

Perpustakaan Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM) mengembangkanfasilitas dari cetak menjadi akses non cetak. Salah satunya, denganadanya layanan ETD (Electronic Theses & Disertation) yangdapat memudahkan mahasiswa untuk mencari referensimengenai skripsi, tesis dan disertasi. Penerimaan Pemustaka padapenelitian ini dilihat dari pendekatan TAM yang meliputikemudahan (perceived ease of use), kebermanfaatan (perceivedusefulness), sikap terhadap pengguna (attitude toward using),dan penerimaan layanan ETD (acceptance of ETD). Penelitian inimenggunakan penelitian kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan datamenggunakan kuisioner dan dokumentasi. Uji statistik yangdigunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan SEM (StructuralEquation Model). Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahuikeberterimaan pengguna dalam menggunakan layanan ETDdapat diketahui dengan menggunakan struktural pengukuranatau inner model dikarenakan layanan ETD yang masih baru diPerpustakaan Universitas Gadjah Mada menggunakanpendekatan TAM. Dari pengujian dan analisis data diperolehsetiap indikator pada variabel memiliki nilai yang valid.Kata kunci: Penerimaan Pemustaka, Layanan ETD, Perpustakaan Perguruan Tinggi

Abstract

Abstract: This research aims to determine the form of Indonesian passive sentence in the essays of foreign students from America in beginner-level. The form of the passive sentence in the essay is analyzed based on the formation of the verb that fills the predicate function in the sentence. The approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with the type of text analysis research. The data in this study are in the form of passive sentences contained in the essays of foreign students from America in beginner-level. The data analysis technique in this study was carried out in 3 (three) stages, namely data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. From the results of this study, 62 data were obtained showing 4 (four) forms of passive sentences, namely (1) passive sentences predicated on verbs formed by di-, (2) passive sentences with predicated verbs formed by ter-, (3) passive sentences with predicated verbs formed by personal pronouns., and (4) passive sentences with predicated verbs formed by names.Keywords: passive sentence, passive verb form, BIPA for beginner, foreign studentsAbstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bentuk kalimat pasif bahasa Indonesia dalam karangan mahasiswa asing level pemula asal Amerika. Bentuk kalimat pasif dalam karangan dianalisis berdasarkan bentukan verba yang mengisi fungsi predikat dalam kalimat. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian analisis teks. Data dalam penelitian ini berupa kalimat pasif yang terdapat dalam karangan mahasiswa asing level pemula asal Amerika. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini dilakukan dalam 3 (tiga) tahap, yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan simpulan. Dari hasil penelitian ini diperoleh  62 data yang menunjukkan 4 (empat) bentuk kalimat pasif, yakni (1) kalimat pasif berpredikat verba bentukan di-, (2) kalimat pasif berpredikat verba bentukan ter-, (3) kalimat pasif berpredikat verba bentukan pronomina persona, dan (4) kalimat pasif berpredikat verba bentukan nama.Keywords: kalimat pasif, verba pasif, BIPA level pemula, mahasiswa asing

Abstract

Abstract: This research was aimed to produce a book supporting fable-based literacy learning for elementary school students. This research model adopted from the model 4D development. As for this research generates. First, the product was developed with a base of basic literacy. Second, the theme of the story is developed with reference to the student text book. Third, a character story using animals endemic to Indonesia. Fourth, the storyline was developed by integrating values character education. Fifth, equipped with practice questions to guide students' understanding. Sixth, the use of language is adjusted to the criteria of elementary school students. Seventh, the design of the illustrations presented in full and interesting so that it can develop the visual intelligence of students. Based on the results of validation tests, practitioner tests, field tests, and corrective actions of the products developed it is feasible to be implemented.Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan buku pengayaan pembelajaran cerita fabel berbasis literasi baca-tulis untuk siswa sekolah dasar. Model penelitian ini mengadopsi dari model pengembangan 4D. Hasil penelitian sebagai berikut. Pertama, produk dikembangkan dengan basis literasi baca-tulis. Kedua, tema cerita dikembangkan dengan mengacu buku teks siswa. Ketiga, tokoh cerita menggunakan binatang endemik Indonesia. Keempat, alur cerita dikembangkan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pendidikan karakter. Kelima, memuat latihan pertanyaan untuk menuntun pemahaman siswa. Keenam, penggunaan bahasa disesuaikan dengan kriteria siswa sekolah dasar. Ketujuh, desain ilustrasi disajikan secara penuh dan menarik sehingga dapat mengembangkan keecerdasan visual siswa. Berdasarkan hasil uji validasi, uji praktisi, uji lapangan, dan tindak perbaikan produk yang dikembangkan telah layak untuk diimplementasikan.
