Abstract

This research focuses on Islamic boarding school (pondok pesantren) as religious tourism destination. Religious tourism is an important part of the international tourist market, including in Indonesia. Indonesian government has realized the role of this kind of tourism in economic development. Hence, every intake has been being taken to develop it, including promoting new destinations. One of them is pondok pesantren (Islamic boarding school) because it’s a unique subculture. Pondok Pesantren Biharu Bahri ‘Asali Fadlail al-Rahmah, which is located in Malang East Java, is one of them. It has luxurious, artistic as well as unique building. It’s also accused as deviationist. The main questions are the motivation of constructing the building, the process of the construction, and the effects of becoming the destination of tourism on the existence of Pondok Pesantren Biharu Bahri ‘Asali Fadlail al-Rahmah. The main motivation of the construction was ‘da’wah’ through building instead of words. The construction didn’t use any architect or other expert and financially self supported. The only inpsiration is ‘ilham’ (divine inspiration) of Kiai. Even the workers are the students themselves. Meanwhile, becoming tourism destination affected this pondok pesantren both positive and negative effects. Positive effects includes the mission of da’wah and economic empowerment, while the negative ones are inappropriate tourist activities, overcrowding as well as commercialization.

Abstract

The sakinah family is formed by two words, namely family and sakinah. The meaning of the family is the smallest community consisting of at least a husband and wife as the main source along with children. The word sakinah itself can be found in the Qur'an, so that you tend and feel at ease with it, so that it can be concluded that the basic conclusion is that the Qur'an teaches mankind to build a family that is sakinah, which is peaceful, to be more peaceful in life. . The concept of a sakinah family in general is also explained in the Qur'an Surah Ar-Rum verse 21. A sense of understanding, mutual acceptance of the condition of the partner, peaceful and strong in dealing with every problem that exists, is what is understood by a quadriplegic couple. Even though there are differences in understanding between them, basically what is most needed in achieving a sakinah family according to them is a sense of mutual understanding between family members.

Abstract

This study focuses on creative characters building through graphic design extracurriculars. This research is motivated by the increasingly advanced era and increasingly sophisticated technology, students have high talent and ability to develop talents, especially students who have in the field of art. The research questions are “how to build the creative character of class XI students through graphic design extracurriculars, and what are the supporting and inhibiting factors for the formation of creative characters of class XI students through graphic design extracurriculars at SMA Mamba'unnur Gading Bululawang”. It is qualitative research, that uses observation, interview, and documentation to collect data. Qualitative data analysis lies in the presentation of what has been produced from the research process. After that, a comprehensive and in-depth conclusion or problem emerges. The results of the study show that the formation of creative characters at Mamba'unnur High School through graphic design extracurriculars uses classical methods in delivering material, habituation methods and discipline methods in doing assignments, so that not only creative characters appear, but students also have the character of responsibility and discipline. On the other hand, there are also supporting and inhibiting factors in the formation of student character, including the ability factor of students, as well as environmental factors and friends' associations.

Abstract

The characteristics of Aswaja education are the same as the main characteristics of NU teachings, namely teachings that prioritize the principle of tawassuth (middle way), which can be complemented by i'tid?l (straight path) and taw?zun (proportional). Qualitative research method is a research method based on the philosophy of postpositivism, used to examine the condition of natural objects, (as opposed to experiments) where the researcher is the key instrument, data collection techniques are carried out by triangulation (combined), data analysis is inductive/qualitative. It is an educational institution that develops a local curriculum with religious values ??and activities, including daily habits, such as reading the letters of Jami 'as-Sharif and prayer before starting learning, praying in congregation at Zuhur, and praying Duha. Monthly activities, such as khataman al-Qur'an, tomb pilgrimage and istighosah. Raudlatul Ulum Junior High School in the Raudlatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School 2 Putukrejo Gondanglegi Malang is affiliated with the Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) organization. The development of Aswaja local content was developed at RU SMP, describing several points related to learning plans and adjusting student characteristics, school conditions, and the pesantren environment. The strengthening of Aswaja NU's local content is strengthened by the creation of an integrated learning system implementation between RU SMP and Pondok Pesantren.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to develop its potential to become skilled, intelligent, moral human beings, and can use their talents for themselves, society, nation, and state. This study aims to identify Islamic education in shaping civilized human character. The method used in this study is a qualitative method which produces descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people who can be observed. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. This research is qualitative research with a Historical-Phyosophical approach which aims to identify Islamic education in shaping human and civilized character. From the results of the study, it was concluded that, according to Adian Husaini, in shaping human and civilized character, namely character education given to Muslim students (in particular), character education must be based on monotheism and ta'dib. This will later distinguish between the character possessed by other nations, and the character possessed by the Indonesian nation, especially in the Muslim community.

Abstract

Speaking ability is a linguistic aptitude or a mode of communication in which a person can communicate his or her thoughts or information in a logical order while mastering the mechanics of speaking convention (pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, fluency and understanding). The researcher used Picture Series Technique to overcome the challenges that the students were having in this study. This research was conducted in order to improve students’ speaking ability through Picture Series Technique in the first grader students of MTs MUNIR ISMAIL Gondanglegi Malang 2020-2021. The researcher chose Classroom Action Research (CAR) as the technique of research in this study. This study was carried out in two stages by the researcher. The first cycle consisted of two meetings, whereas the second cycle consisted of one meeting. The researcher employed the Picture Series Technique to create a pleasant environment throughout the speaking teaching and learning process, and, more significantly, to increase the students' speaking abilities. The subject of this research was the students of first grader students in MTs MUNIR ISMAIL. The instruments to collect the data were interview, observation checklist, and speaking test. The findings of this study revealed that employing Picture Series Technique in teaching speaking, particularly in describing people, yielded positive results. The researcher might be able to help the pupils enhance their speaking skills. Their comments indicated that they were interested in learning about the subject of speaking since they found it simpler to communicate utilizing the Picture Series Technique. Their average score is 74, based on the results of cycle 1. As a consequence of the second cycle, their average score is 81.

Abstract

This study aims at explaining the writing technics and principals as well as the translation of “pegon” script in “kitab kuning” as it is applied in the tradition of “pesantren”. It concludes the following points. First, the writing technique of “pegon” script is based on the vowels used in Malay and Javanese language which is assimilated to the writing technique of the Arabic language. Second, any signs showing the indicator of syntactic parsing are written above the main text (superscript). Third, any signs showing the lexical access are written below the main text (subscript). Fourth, any dependant word particle (huruf) is not given any sign, so it should be memorized. Fifth, any signs of reference are written following the rule of similarity between the sign on the reference and the referred word. These latter signs are written following these rules: (1) any signs for the reference are written below the main text (subscript), and any signs for the referred word are written above the main text (superscript), (2) any signs of reference that refers to any words, phrase, or sentence located too far from the reference are written by using a kind of footnote

Abstract

Abandoned children are children who do not get the same rights as children. their families and relatives are not able to carry out their obligations so that the needs of children's rights are not met. As stated in Law no. 35 of 2014 concerning child protection, which reads; "Child protection is all activities to guarantee and protect children and their rights so that they can live, grow, develop, and participate optimally in accordance with human dignity, and receive protection from violence and discrimination". It is a major problem regarding the protection of neglected children in Indonesia. Regarding the future, whether with Law Number 35 of 2014 is a solution to the problem of the number of neglected children in Indonesia whose future is still not guaranteed. The research used is a qualitative research method, with an approach using normative/doctrinal law which in foreign legal literature is commonly referred to as legal research and without the addition of other meanings, namely the opinion of some legal scholars can be said to be pure legal research. The government and local government have the authority to protect neglected children as regulated in Law Number 35 of 2014 including: 1) regarding housing guarantees, 2) guarantees for maintenance and care, 3) children's rights to obtain identity from the state. Children in terms of national and state life are the future of the nation and the next generation of the ideals of the nation, so that the state is obliged to fulfill the rights of every child to survival, growth and development, participation, protection from acts of violence and discrimination.

Abstract

This study is a comparative analysis between savings and loan cooperatives and Islamic financial services cooperatives Baitul Maal wat Tamwil or BMT. This analysis was conducted to determine the relationship between cooperatives and BMT, so that they could provide real answers to the community, especially the public, that cooperatives and BMT are different entities. BMT is a microfinance institution that deals with middle- and lower-class entrepreneurs to help start up their business activities. BMT is intended to help the middle- and lower-class economies so that they can set up businesses without being caught up in loan sharks. Today, people often regard conventional cooperatives and BMT as financial institutions that are closely related to banks and interest. So they experience a deep dilemma when the need for business capital is not directly proportional to their mindset, they are in a dilemma if they have to pay interest and deal with moneylenders. This study is a field study (field research) with a qualitative approach conducted at Modern Islamic Boardng School al-Rifa'ie 2 Gondanglegi Malang Regency. Al-Rifa'ie has syari'ah cooperatives and BMTs that have won the trust of some people as financial service institutions that comply with Islamic law. The findings in the discussion resulted that cooperative and BMT in this case at Modern Islamic Boarding School al-Rifa'ie 2 have relations and differences. The relationship between the two lies in the legality of the institution, where BMT is under the auspices of the cooperative under its legal protection. The differences between the two are described in the comparative analysis table contained in the discussion chapter. This finding is expected to be able to provide a theoretical contribution to answer the community's doubts between conventional cooperatives and BMT.

Abstract

This study aims to determine how tauhid education according to Sayyid Ahmad Al-Marzuqi in the book ‘Aqidah al-‘Awam. In addition, they also know the significance of monotheism education in everyday life. The type of research used in this study is qualitative using a library approach. The primary data source is the ‘Aqidah al-‘Awam book, the secondary source is the translation and the tertiary source is books and other books that are relevant and relevant to the research. The findings of this study indicate that the book ‘Aqidah al-‘Awam by Sayyid Ahmad Al-Marzuqi is still relevant in education from the past to education today. The value of tauhid education is faith education where faith itself consists of faith in Allah, in angels, in books, in the Apostles, in the Last Day, and faith in qadla and qadr. The significance of tauhid education in everyday life from the attributes of Allah SWT is the door to success in life in the world and the hereafter, and as a reference in creating morality, besides that by implementing the attributes of Allah in everyday life can facilitate social relations. both in religious matters or between communities, as well as according to the syari’ah and norms that apply in the community itself.
