Abstract

Organic vegetables that are mostly consumed by the community in the midst of the rapid development of the organic farming sector, can generally be obtained by purchasing vegetables that have been harvested so that the interaction between consumers and farmers is very limited. However, a concept called CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) that connects farmers with consumers directly and invites consumers to be involved with the production process. Seni Tani is one of the few organic farming businesses that apply the CSA concept in Indonesia. This study aims to explain the type of business and the application of CSA in Seni Tani as an example of the application of CSA in Indonesia which has not been widely carried out. The research design is a qualitative research design with a case study approach. This study uses data collection techniques in the form of observation, in-depth interviews and literature study. The results are indicate that Seni Tani applies regenerative organic agriculture. The plants are organic products and fullfil the principles of health, ecology, justice and protection by imitating natural patterns without adding synthetic chemical inputs. Seni Tani implements social entrepreneurship with a socially responsible enterprise type of business and carries out urban farming activities. CSATani Sauyunan at Seni Tani has fulfilled the CSA concept. CSA Tani Sauyunan fulfills four principles namely partnership, locality, solidarity, and producer-consumer relations. CSA Tani Sauyunan is a small scale CSA that operates informally and can be categorized into the Multi-Farm CSA, Subscription CSA and Mixed-Vegetable CSA types.

Abstract

Milkfish is the main aquaculture commodity in Lamongan Regency besides vannamei shrimp. But in reality milkfish meat has not been used optimally in the fish cracker processing business. This study aims to analyze the added value and income as well as to find a sustainable strategy for processing milkfish crackers using the quadruple Helix concept approach. The research method is descriptive quantitative with a case study approach. the sampling is done by purposive sampling. Analysis of the data by calculating profit or net income, added value using the Hayami method and recommendations for sustainability with SWOT analysis. The final result shows that the milkfish cracker processing business earns a profit of Rp. 8,722,917 per twenty-six times the production process for one month, with an added value of Rp. 63,540/kg of raw materials. From the SWOT analysis, the Aggressive Strategy is obtained. The strategy is to increase the production of milkfish crackers by developing the business by increasing the quality and quantity due to market guarantees. For business sustainability, collaboration is used in the quadruple helix concept, namely (1) Entrepreneurs play a role in increasing production, (2) Academics play a role in providing assistance to product innovation and marketing research that is more effective, (3) The government plays a role in providing counseling, training and business capital assistance, (4) The community plays a role by participating in developing this milkfish cracker processing business into a superior product for the local area and helping to promote it through online promotion media so that it is more widely known.

Abstract

Corn is one of the food crop commodities cultivated in Ciamis Regency, one of which is in the Ciamis Regency agropolitan area. The differences of corn farming productivity at five locations in the agropolitan area which shows the use of production factors is not yet efficient. The research was carried out using a survey method on corn farmers in Panumbangan District which was taken as the research location intentionally (purposive sampling). The population size is 1,545 people and the samples are 94 people is determined using the Slovin formula. Analysis of technical efficiency were analyzed using a stochastic frontier production function, allocative efficiency were analyzed using a cost function where the data analysis used the Front4.1 application. Economics efficiency is combination between technical efficiency and allocative efficiency. The results showed the level of efficiency achieved in corn farming in the agropolitan area of Ciamis Regency were efficient (>0.70), with an average of 0.88 for technical efficiency; an average of 0.81 for allocative efficiency; and an average of 0.72 for economics efficiency

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic, had an impact on several sectors, agrotourism for instance. The most visible impacts are decrease in the number of visitors and limited marketing. This study aims to analyze the internal and external environment as well as analyze the strategy for developing Ngringenrejo Agrotourism toward Covid-19 pandemic crisis. This research was conducted in December 2021 - January 2022 at Starfruit Agrotourism in Ngringinrejo Village, Kalitidu District, Bojonegoro Regency. The research location was chosen purposively. This research use case study method. The method of determining respondents used snowball sampling and accidental sampling with 40 respondents. The types of data used were primary data and secondary data. The data analysis methods used were IFE and EFE matrices, SWOT matrix analysis and QSPM matrix. The results of the SWOT analysis showsed that nine alternative strategies and priority strategies were obtained based on the QSPM analysis, namely increasing the innovation of various facilities, expanding the starfruit marketing area and carrying out more active promotions through social media. The recommended strategy that can be done is to improve various facilities such as game rides, educational tours, photo spots and cafes.

Abstract

Babah Kacamata Coffee is an individual bussiness that produces coffee beans into coffee powder. The production of their coffee powder is more than the demand for it. So, Babah Kacamata Coffee wants to increase the volume of its sales, but there is trouble in its marketing. The marketing that has been done before was by advertising was not maximal because the information about the product was not completed. As the promotion was not effective, the information about the product was not shared enough with the consumer. So, there must be an identification strategy for the promotion of Babah Kacamata Coffee to increase the volume of their sales. The purpose of this research: 1) To find the strengths, the weaknesses, opportunities, and threats of Babah Kacamata Coffee, and 2) To find the promotion strategy that will increase the volume of their sales. This research is carried out with the purpose ( purposive) of the consideration of Babah Kacamata Coffee which has been a long time producing the coffee beans in Salatiga even though its market is still local. The type of this research is descriptive qualitative with an interview method to find the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats( SWOT) of Babah Kacamata Coffee. The result of this research shows that the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats related to the promotion strategy. The factor from SWOT analysis is that to form the new strategy to increase the volume of their sales from the promotion of the development and the implementation of the promotion to overcome weaknesses and threats also take advantage of opportunities through existing strengths.

Abstract

To increase the income of rice farmers in Sukabumi City, the Sukabumi City Food Security, Agriculture and Fisheries Service made a new breakthrough, namely the One Roof program which began in 2020. This program was implemented as a farmer partner institution, in this program an offtaker was appointed who in terms of guarantees financing capital for farming and at the same time guaranteeing the market for agricultural products. Farmers will obtain a business financing loan facility from the offtaker with a guarantee that the resulting product is sold to the offtaker at a reasonable price. The existence of offtakers is expected to be able to reduce farmers' dependence on middlemen who generally harm farmers. In addition, there is assistance from sapras (fertilizers and pesticides) to alleviate the need for sapras whose prices are increasing. The purpose of this study was to analyze the differences in production costs, production and income of lowland rice farmers before and after participating in the One Roof program. The data analysis method used was unpaired t-test. The results of the analysis show that the cost of farming production before participating in the One Roof Program is Rp 8,178,302/Ha, and after Rp 7.723.236, this shows a significant difference. Rice production before joining the One Roof Program was 6,530 Kg/Ha, and after 6,542 Kg/Ha, showed no significant difference. For lowland rice farmers' income before and after participating in the One Roof program, it shows a significant difference, before Rp 17,941,762/Ha/MT, while after Rp 20,408,759/Ha/MT.

Abstract

Coffee is one of the most competitive plantation commodities. Where competitive advantage is one of the factors that affect the competitiveness of Indonesian coffee. In addition to competitiveness, another factor that affects the coffee commodity is the marketing mix. The government is trying to improve the competitiveness of local coffee in order to compete in the international market by increasing its advantages and expanding its marketing. This is what the Sukabumi district government has done. The purpose of this research is the effect of competitive advantage and marketing mix on the success of coffee farming. The method used is path analysis and farming analysis. The results of the analysis show that the F-count value is 153.112 where the value is greater than the F-table value, which is 3.183 at a significant level of 0.05, meaning that competitive advantage (X1) and marketing mix (X2) have a significantly positive effect on the success of coffee farming (Y). ). As for the value of R square, the value of R square is 0.869. This shows that the contribution or influence of X1 and X2 is 86.9 percent,

Abstract

Drinking coffee has now become a lifestyle among college students. There are various types of coffee drink products that can be consumed, such as coffee shop-processed drinks and instant coffee. Since December 2019, there has been an outbreak of the Covid 19 disease and the issuance of a Large-Scale Social Restriction, leading to changes in consumer behavior in buying coffee drink products. The purpose of this study was to find out how the consumer behavior of coffee drink products before and during the pandemic among college students, and whether there were changes in consumer behavior of coffee drink products before and during the pandemic among college students. This research uses descriptive analysis with a survey method. The study was conducted on students of the Agribusiness Major, Faculty of Agriculture, Universitas Padjadjaran, with a sample of 100 people. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis. The results showed: (1) Prior to the pandemic, the majority of students received information from social media, received funds from their parents, consumed coffee shop-processed drinks, consumed it at the coffee shops, made purchases using the offline method, paid by cash, consuming it at a coffee shop at night, evaluating the product, and evaluate the product directly (2) During the pandemic period, the majority of students get information sources from social media, get funds from their parents, consume coffee shop-processed drinks, consume it at the coffee shops, make purchases using the offline method, make payments using e-wallet, consuming it at home in the afternoon, and not evaluating the product. (3) There are changes in some consumer behavior of coffee drink products among students.

Abstract

LMDH Karamat Jaya is a community institution in Kramatwangi Village, Cisurupan District, Garut Regency which was initiated by the PHBM (Community Forest Management) program. In coffee farming, farmers at LMDH Karamat Jaya experience limitations in obtaining productive resources, so that the potential and production yields are less than optimal due to the lack of relationships and relationships between farmers and other coffee actors. This study aims to: 1) identify the characteristics of coffee farmers in LMDH Karamat Jaya, and 2) analyze the social network structure of coffee farmers in LMDH Karamat Jaya. Informants were selected by the Snowball sampling technique. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. Data analysis used descriptive and Social Network Analysis (SNA). The results show that the social network structure of coffee farmers in LMDH Karamat Jaya forms an interlocking personal network and the actors who play an important role in the network are the LMDH Supervisory Board as well as the Village Head and members of LMDH Karamat Jaya who are a dealer/coffee collector.

Abstract

Currently, there are still many people who have not processed food with due regard to cleanliness and hygiene. Foodborne illness is still a public health problem in Indonesia because of the lack of personal hygiene and environmental sanitation in food preparation and service. This study aims to determine the extent to which GMP-WISE is implemented at IKM Kerupuk Saluyu Putra so that later this business can improve safety and produce hygienic preparations. This research will be conducted on Jl. Raya Barat Cicalengka, Panenjoan, Cicalengka District, Bandung Regency, West Java from December 2021 to November 2022. This research was conducted using the Good Manufacturing Practices and Work Improvement in Small Enterprises (GMP-WISE) method. Data collection used questionnaires, and data analysis used several stages, namely observing current conditions, suggesting improvements, and validating employee knowledge. The results of the hypothesis test show that there is a relationship between the implementation of GMP-WISE and employee hygiene and sanitation knowledge. Production process improvements, GMP-WISE guidelines, and employee training need to be carried out to maintain product safety.
