Abstract

Department of English, Politeknik Negeri Bandung applies the Information System of Final Project Administration to aid the final assignment administration management. However, when the system is applied some new problems appear. The problems affect the ongoing performances of administrative services. This study aims to analyze and test the quality of SIATA to find out the occurring problems and factors that influence SIATA’s quality. This study uses McCall’s method to measure the quality of software and its product. This analysis method is used to acquire specific problems. The analysis was conducted on product operation aspects consisting of quality factors of correctness, reliability, efficiency, integrity, and usability. Data were collected using questionnaires from 58 respondents comprised of lecturers, students, and administrative staff of the Department of English, Politeknik Negeri Bandung. The results of the research showed that the overall SIATA’s quality stood at the level of 55,22% (the quality was fairly good based on the scales of criteria to interpret the percentages of quality factors). The research comes up with some recommendations that can be used to improve the performance of SIATA’s quality.

Abstract

The use of biometrics in various issues of data security, transactions, privacy has been widely used. Regarding security, surely the level of accuracy in one's self-recognition must be accurate. The palmprint is one of biometrics which has various unique characteristics. These characteristics include geometrical features such as length, width, and area of the palmprint, characteristics of main lines such as heart lines, headlines, and lifelines, tangled or weak lines, delta dot characteristics, and minus characteristics. Main lines and tangled lines, which are often referred to as line features, have several advantages over other biometric features, such as they can be obtained from low-resolution images, are difficult to duplicate, and are stable because they have experienced slight changes over a long period of time. This research introduces the method of Fermat's Spirals in the extraction of the features of the palmprint which are represented in the time series curve. Testing uses 450 palm images sourced from 50 people, each person taken 9 palmprint images where 5 images as a test image and 4 images as a reference image. The test is carried out based on the threshold value determined from the simulation results based on matching test images with reference images on the ROC graph. Based on the test results it can be concluded that the system shows high performance at a threshold value of 0.036 to get an FNMR value of 2.80%, FMR of 0.88% with an accuracy of 96.31% where the number of reference images to the test image affects the level of accuracy.

Abstract

Fungal skin disease is a type of disease that is often suffered people in the tropics. Phenomena in the community often assume that this disease will heal by itself. However, if left the effects of fungal skin disease can worsen the sufferer condition. The importance of early detection and treatment is very necessary, but this requires patients go to hospital or doctor so that patients spend a lot of time and money. For this reason, was build an android expert system with speech to early diagnose fungal skin diseases. From this initial diagnosis will save time and money and provide alternative prevention for sufferers. The method used in this study is the Certainty Factor of 20 patients. The accuracy of the test results to the system compared to the results of the doctor's diagnosis is 95%. So that, this expert system can be an early alternative in diagnose fungal skin diseases in humans.

Abstract

The comments contained on e-commerce users generally contain opinions about positive or negative experiences at several online shops. Sentences that can be written indirectly both a little or a lot, will affect other potential customers. So as a result of these comments cause a product sold at an online store has a rating of two things namely "recommended" or "non-recommended". However, detection of positive and negative opinions manually will require more time because of the large amount of data. For this reason opinion mining using technology in data mining can be used to automate positive and negative detection of comments. However, one of the main problems in opinion mining is limited data but has a large number of attributes. In this study, we propose the application of Pearson correlation (PC) based feature selection for opinion mining optimization. The results of the experiment show that the application of PC increases the performance of opinion mining systems in 3 types of classification, namely Logistic Regression, Naïve Bayes and Support Vector Machine, resulting in more optimal accuracy, namely 98.80%, 87.87% and 98.12%.

Abstract

Server role becomes very important to provide service to clients. Therefore the performance of the server needs to be maintained. The performance of the server is not only influenced by the technology of the hardware but also influenced by server room ideal temperature and humidity condition. Monitoring and adjusting temperature condition is not possible to be done continuously manually because of limited human resources. One of the solutions is using a system based on the Internet of Things (IoT). This research proposed a prototype of server room temperature and humidity real-time monitoring system using RobotDyn ATmega+ESP8266 microcontroller and the Blynk IoT platform. The prototype also can maintain the temperature of server room on ideal condition by controlling Air Conditioner using Fuzzy logic Mamdani Method and infrared communication. The result of this research a prototype that can read temperature and humidity of server room accurately realtive error for temperature is 0,81% and relative error for humidity is 4,52%. Quality of Service for data transmission from prototype to Blynk Platform is very good, with average delay 127.54ms, average packet loss ratio 0.54%, average packet delivery ratio 99.46%, and average throughput 10.5 kbps. Control System that built using fuzzy logic Mamdani Method can automatically control the value of Air Conditioner temperature output that adjust the condition of server room with maximum range for control Air Conditioner is 4 meters and 45° from Air Conditioner’s transmitter

Abstract

Hanger maintenance process this time based on the circulation from hanger give to the production side. No standard calculation, looking for risk percentage for hanger go into maintenance, become a problem. The hanger must have a standard calculation for percentage value, where the value can provide a clear decision. There is a method in Fuzzy Logic, that the Tsukamoto method, can be utilized in making a decision. This research is based on the problem of how to make a standard calculation, to looking for the risk percentage level for hanger go into maintenance, by applying Fuzzy Logic Tsukamoto method, so that the calculation becomes faster, accurate, and precise. The result from the application of the Tsukamoto method, to find the risk percentage level for hanger enter maintenance, for example at hanger Back Caesar, the resulting level of percentage hanger requirement is 91%, and hanger maintenance risk level 70,375%. The final result shows hanger Back Caesar has a high maintenance risk level (range between 54,6-100%) and well plan maintenance action. Application of Tsukamoto method that has been done shows that to find the risk level percentage for hanger go into maintenance, the first must be looking for output crisp from the percentage level of hanger that needed with the Tsukamoto method.

Abstract

The objective developed from this research is to utilize Smart Home with an integrated ESP32 microcontroller with a camera and MC-38 door magnetic switch sensor based on the Internet of Things (IoT) as a research base to detect the security of arumsari earth housing in Cirebon District when left by its inhabitants. ESP32 microcontroller which can be programmed via arduino IDE, then functioned to respond to the integrated camera so that it can transmit images when the MC-38 sensor door magnetic switch sensor is active. Technically the combination of the ESP32 microcontroller and MC-38 door magnetic switch sensor, which was developed as a prototype in this study is called the arumsari housing early detection system. The mechanism of the arumsari housing early detection system is when a house door or window is successfully forcibly broken without going through the system mechanism, then automatically an image or can also be developed into a video from a camera mounted on an ESP32 microcontroller will send the image through a web framework or smartphone as a form early warning of security to housing owners. The results obtained from this study are at the angle of normally open MC-38 door magnetic switch sensor of 60 - 1800, will work sending an image signal which means there is an indication of a burglar or unknown person entering the house. Whereas at the normally closed angle MC-38 door magnetic switch sensor is 00-50, it will not work sending an image signal which means the house is safe.

Abstract

The achievement of the Teacher Competency Test (UKG) results has not yet reached the expected percentage target. Based on the analysis, teachers need to increase their knowledge and skills about microtics. The module that is commonly used is a pdf format module that contains power point slides, the module does not have a more detailed description of the proxy use steps. This study aims to develop microtic training modules and reveal their validity and practicality. This type of research is development research using plomp and nieveen models, namely preliminary research, prototyping stage, and assessment phase. The instrument used was a questionnaire of validity and practicality. The results of the module validity test research by three module experts obtained results in the valid category. The validation of the material by three experts, the material was obtained with a valid category. Based on practicality tests by network computer engineering teachers at SMKN 2, SMKN 3, SMKN 5, SMKN 6 and SMKN 8 Padang shows that the module has a very high practicality category. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the microtic training e-module is considered valid by experts as well as practical by instructors and trainees

Abstract

One of the agriculture sectors that can be used as business opportunities is the vegetable commodity horticultural agriculture sector. There are 5 criteria that can be used, namely the analysis of initial capital, operational costs, harvest time, selling price and profits. While there are 12 kinds of plants namely shallots, green cayenne peppers, green mustard greens, round green eggplants, squash / cucumber, cucumber, long beans, spinach, kale, tomatoes, cauliflower and bitter melon / bitter melon. The implementation of Decision Support System (SPK) to determine horticultural farming business opportunities can be done using the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) and Promethee methods. The SAW method calculates the value of each criterion, the weight of the criteria and the type of criteria that can be determined by the user himself and the method of method used to determine the order of priority. The results of this study are getting the highest priority value is spinach plants by 78.1% based on data processed in June 2019 in Karawang district with business analysis in an area of 23 x 2 meters.

vanilla. The Milk Café was founded in 2015 which currently has 3 branches and 5 franchises in various cities in Central Java and D.I. Yogyakarta and many more. the milk café owner has plans to open a new café branch. The milk café owner does not yet have the right method for determining location selection recommendations. Currently, café owners only conduct surveys and then choose locations that they think are appropriate based on several criteria so that café owners are often hesitant in determining the right location. Choosing an improper business location can cause bankruptcy or failure to run a business. This study aims to find out how the AHP method is able to provide problem solving solutions in the selection of locations in the expansion of the café business. And how to build a decision support system application AHP method. The data used are location data to conduct a feasibility survey based on criteria data to locations that have been determined by the team leader, where the criteria for determining new cafes are strategic locations, market share, competitors, rental prices and area size ... results from AHP calculations for expansion of the café is that it can be concluded that the alternative location of Jl. Sultan Syahrir Surakarta was stated as the most suitable location to be chosen as the location of the new branch of The Milk Café with the highest weighting value of 0.235. While the least recommended alternative locations are Jl. Adi Soemarmo with the least total weight is 0.153.
