Abstract

Breast Cancer is the most common cancer found in women and the death rate is still in second place among other cancers. The high accuracy of the machine learning approach that has been proposed by related studies is often achieved. However, without efficient pre-processing, the model of Breast Cancer prediction that was proposed is still in question. Therefore, this research objective to improve the accuracy of machine learning methods through pre-processing: Missing Value Replacement, Data Transformation, Smoothing Noisy Data, Feature Selection / Attribute Weighting, Data Validation, and Unbalanced Class Reduction which is more efficient for Breast Cancer prediction. The results of this study propose several approaches: C4.5 - Z-Score - Genetic Algorithm for Breast Cancer Dataset with 77,27% accuracy, 7-Nearest Neighbor - Min-Max Normalization - Particle Swarm Optimization for Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset - Original with 97,85% accuracy, Artificial Neural Network - Z-Score - Forward Selection for Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset - Diagnostics with 98,24% accuracy, and 11-Nearest Neighbor - Min-Max Normalization - Particle Swarm Optimization for Wisconsin Breast Cancer Dataset - Prognostic with 83,33% accuracy. The performance of these approaches is better than standard/normal machine learning methods and the proposed methods by the best of previous related studies.

Abstract

Naïve Bayes (NB) algorithm is still in the top ten of the Data Mining algorithms because of it is simplicity, efficiency, and performance. To handle classification on numerical data, the Gaussian distribution and kernel approach can be applied to NB (GNB and KNB). However, in the process of NB classifying, attributes are considered independent, even though the assumption is not always right in many cases. Absolute Correlation Coefficient can determine correlations between attributes and work on numerical attributes, so that it can be applied for attribute weighting to GNB (ACW-NB). Furthermore, because performance of NB does not increase in large datasets, so ACW-NB can be a classifier in the local learning model, where other classification methods, such as K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) which are very well known in local learning can be used to obtain sub-dataset in the ACW-NB training. To reduction of noise/bias, then missing value replacement and data normalization can also be applied. This proposed method is termed "LL-KNN ACW-NB (Local Learning K-Nearest Neighbor in Absolute Correlation Weighted Naïve Bayes)," with the objective to improve the performance of NB (GNB and KNB) in handling classification on numerical data. The results of this study indicate that the LL-KNN ACW-NB is able to improve the performance of NB, with an average accuracy of 91,48%, 1,92% better than GNB and 2,86% better than KNB.

Abstract

The feasibility of a home for family residence is the basis for growing and developing a better family life. The roof, floor, and walls are data on the indicator of the feasibility of the house at the time of the survey. The need for a system that can display RTLH locations in the Web Geographic Information System (WebGIS) accompanied by detailed RTLH data and photos. This study explains how the system tracks the location of RTLH survey data officers using Android GPS, then represents it on WebGIS. The tracking method starts when the clerk fills out the home data input form via the Android application. Location coordinates in the form of latitude and longitude will be detected automatically and become input parameters accompanied by photos and RTLH data details. Offline data will be stored in SQLite then sent to MySQL via database synchronization while online. The purpose of this research is to establish a location tracking system for RTLH survey officers to facilitate the validation process of data suitability between data and facts in the field. This system managed to track the location of RTLH survey officers by being marked by the appearance of markers on the Google Map on the WebGIS application. From a total of 14,949 houses in Kota Solok in December 2018, there were 938 RTLH. From 938 RTLH, the coordinates of the location of latitude and longitude are 100%.

Abstract

Object-based audio technology is important for audio reproduction because of providing the users with an ability to change the audio composition. As a result, MPEG Spatial Audio Object Coding (SAOC) as an international standard for encoding object-based audio has been widely used in many applications. However, the object-based audio transmission scheme is different than conventional audio transmission technology, so the use of steganography in MPEG SAOC needs to be further studied. In this work, a steganography technique has been developed based on Improved Spread Spectrum (ISS). There are two embedding configurations used in this study: embedding on MPEG SAOC audio objects and embedding on MPEG SAOC downmix signals. The performance of these two embedding configurations was analyzed by measuring ISS embedding capacity. As a comparison to the ISS method on channel-based audio, the ISS is also applied to Advanced Audio Coding (AAC). Based on the experiments, the embedding capacity of both proposed configurations varies depending on the bandwidth of audio signals. However, the downmix signal has a capacity of 20% higher than the audio objects. Moreover, the ISS embedding capacity on the MPEG SAOC downmix signal is similar to the embedding capacity on the AAC.

Abstract

Every company needs an employee performance appraisal system, for the evaluation of its employees in terms of quality and responsibility for their work. In evaluating the performance of employees at PT. MMC Group is still manually so it takes a long time and the impact on decision making time also takes a long time. Besides evaluation only on aspects of the strengths and weaknesses of employees, so the results of decisions taken are not accurate and subjective. Therefore we need a decision support system that can do calculations quickly, precisely and accurately based on predetermined criteria. The calculation method used in this study is the SMART (Simple Multi Attribute Rating Technique) method. There are 5 assessment criteria used, namely quality of work, integrity, loyalty, discipline and personality, while for alternative data as many as 10 employees are taken by cluster random sampling. To test the performance of the SMART method calculation results using the Confusion Metrix method. The results of this study are an accuracy rate of 90%, a precission of 100%, a recall of 88.88% and a specificity of 94.12%.

Abstract

Educational games can be used as an effective learning method, especially for children, because children can gain knowledge in a fun way. Here the game is designed for young children to practice arithmetic and knowledge to separate organic and inorganic wastes. This game is based on Android using Construct 2 software, design using UML and Game Development Life Cycle (GDLC). At the end of the manufacturing process, software tests or tests consist of unit tests, integration tests and system tests. From the test results, the game "Math & Trash" can be run on several versions of Android with a variety of different screen sizes. The educational game "Math & Trash" is expected to have a positive impact on children on the importance of math subjects and the importance of protecting the surrounding environment.

Abstract

This study aims to develop authentic online assessment instruments based on problem based learning. Authentic assessment instruments will be accessed online in computer network learning to measure student competencies effectively and efficiently. Type of research is research and development and used refer to the 4 D model (define, design, develop, disseminate). The analysis technique uses the Aiken'V test, and validity uses expert testing and Focus Group Discussion (FGD). The practicality test is carried out by applying the product to students in the form of a product practicality questionnaire and to test the effectiveness using basic time series design. Validity test results show the RPS and instruments developed are valid with Aiken's V values ​​of 0.708 and 0.716. Practicality test results on the practicality test by lecturers and students on the RPS were 93% and authentic assessment 91%. Effectiveness test results with time series analysis were 38% with the effective category. The implication of the study is that there is a positive effect on learning outcomes, the value of students completeness increases and the gain score test is 0.38 in the medium category. The findings of this study have resulted in e-authentic assessment instruments with valid, practical and effective categories.

Abstract

In the process of the regional head election, there is a recapitulation process for the vote acquisition conducted by the KPPS (Voting Organizers Group) at each TPS (polling station). Where this process usually takes a very long time and also causes a lot of problems. In Pekanbaru City, the information on the recapitulation of the regional head election sent to the candidate pairs or the supporting party was still based on the SMS (Short Message Service) gateway which made the candidate pairs/supporting parties have to do the recapitulation manually again. From these problems, the Pekanbaru City Regional Head Election Recapitulation Information System was built using Inputs from the Telegram API that can solve these problems. From the results of testing the black box on the system by following the ISO 9126-2 standard, the results on each metric have a number of 1 and an average of 1 which means that the system's functions are in accordance with needs and expectations. In performance testing the average delay time when the bot is sent data in the form of images (command /c1) is 4.447 seconds, while when the bot is sent data in the form of text/numbers (commands other than /c1) the average delay time is less than 1.5 seconds. In the user acceptance testing, this information system is very helpful for the candidate pair and the bearer party in conducting vote recapitulation during the regional head election process and also get the results of the recapitulation of votes with detail and realtime.

Abstract

The success of an event, especially a seminar cannot be separated from the success of the organizer to get participants. The scattered challenges faced by the seminar organizers are closely related to the ease and convenience of the procedures applied to order seminar tickets to prospective participants. So that the application of information and communication technology is needed by the organizer as a tool to provide convenience and comfort to prospective participants. Ticket reservations are generally done manually and still use tickets in printed. An application is needed to speed up and simplify the ticket booking process for prospective participants. To solve this problem, prospective seminar participants will use the seminar ticket booking application via a smartphone device. This application uses the RESTful API on the Laravel framework, as one of the implementations of web service. Security of data exchange between android devices and web services using Laravel Passport, as a token generator API. The architecture that is applied in the development of android applications is the MVP architecture (Model, View, Presenter). Using QR-codes on tickets and sending tickets via e-mail participants can also avoid the possibility of loss and damage to tickets obtained by participants.

Abstract

The Dictionary of Medicine in the form of a physical book has many drawbacks, one of them is its thickness makes it impractical to be carried. This becomes a motivation to develop drug dictionary applications in the form of a Drugs e-Dictionary. One of the developed Drugs e-Dictionary uses A-Z index-based approach to discover any drug terms. This approach is less effective and less efficient timewise. Therefore, it is necessary to add a search function that has an autocorrect feature to aid the user. The purpose of this study is to build a search module that has an autocorrect feature on Drugs e-Dictionary using the Levenshtein Distance algorithm. The methodology or the stages of this research divided into the construction of a search module on Drugs e-Dictionary, implementation of the Levenshtein Distance algorithm, and autocorrect validation test. The results of the algorithm implementation show that the search module with the autocorrect feature can detect typing errors in the inputted terms by producing the closest drug term output in the database, then automatically provide suggestions for improvement and display the results of the improved drug terms to the user. it reaches 90% accuracy of inputted query, with 90% precision and 90% recall.
