Third, to accommodate, to develop the knowledge, insight, and ideas of the author and researcher in the field of Gender and Children. Abstract

ABSTRAK Perempuan selama ini sering dikaitkan dengan kasur, sumur dan dapur. Padahal, mereka juga berperan dalam kehidupan masyarakat dan budaya komunitas. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana dari sisi budaya komunitas. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap budaya lamaran pada masyarakat Melayu-Bugis di Desa Punggur Kecil Kabupaten Kubu Raya, Kalimantan Barat. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi, kemudian data diolah dan digambarkan sebagaimana adanya. Hasil penelitian menggambarkan bahwa: (1) Orang Melayu-Bugis memaknai lamaran sebagai suatu adat kebudayaan dalam menghormati perempuan dan keluarga. (2) Adapun proses dalam lamaran, yakni; (a) adat sekapur sirih sebagai pembuka kata dan penentuan penerimaan lamaran; (b) naek pengikat sebagai simbol perempuan telah memiliki ikatan pertunangan dengan laki-laki; (c) penentuan uang asap (uang dapur); (d) pembacaan doa selamat (3) hakikat perempuan dalam pandangan Melayu-Bugis di Desa Punggur Kecil, yakni; (a) perempuan beharga, (b) perempuan adalah pendamping laki-laki, (c) perempuan memiliki ruang untuk berpendidikan tinggi dan bekerja sebagaimana laki-laki. Kata kunci: Perempuan, Lamaran, Melayu-Bugis.

Abstract

This paper aims to examine the position and role of Indonesian Women's Ulama in responding to the social problems of women in the patriarchal culture of Ulamā’ which is dominated by male Ulamā’ in Indonesia. Using Peter L.Berger and Luckmann's (1966) social construction theory, this paper seeks to explore the capacity of Indonesian Women’s Ulama in solving socio-religious problems, especially in the field of female law and social issues in Indonesia. Law-making in Indonesia cannot be separated from the patriarchal construction built by the intellectual hegemony of male Ulamā’ (Islamic scholars) and the existence of social inequality between men and women in the dominance of social interpretations which results in the dominance of masculinity in the public sector. This paper uses qualitative research methods with data collection techniques in the form of observation and documentation. The conclusions of this paper are 1) the intellectual ahistorism of women socially constructed through verbalization, visualization, and adaptation in the socio-cultural scientific tradition; 2) the cultural backwardness experienced by women when men step forward in their socio-cultural intellect in the public sector such as law, education, politics and economics.

Abstract

This article aims to examine the relationship between human with nature, God, and culture in children literature (Mata dan Manusia Laut novel) with the didactical element which creates awareness to preserve the environment since early stage. The approach that is used to analyze the discourse/narrative in the novel is one of postmodern intellectual product, which is ecocriticism – ecotheology. The result of this study indicates there is a connecting dot between science, social reality, and myth in the novel. The suprarational is told relevant to the concept of modern science, although criticism of myths also appears on the other side. Ecotheological conception which consists of four elements namely, taskhir, abd, khalifah, and amanah also appears in the narrative. The spirit of amanah even manifested in several activities (1) introspection, (2) mistake confession, (3) apology toward nature as an object of environmental damage, and (4) self-improvement behavior.

Abstract

Learning problems become a study that is always reviewed to facilitate students in the learning process. Conventional learning that is constantly being applied in educational institutions in Indonesia, especially Early Childhood Education (PAUD) by means of teachers giving lectures then students listen to it and the teacher gives worksheets to children without regard to children's interests or interests. This article is structured to provide a study of experiential learning in PAUD which is seen from the perspective of the understanding of teachers and parents. The research method used is qualitative with a case study approach. The subjects of this study consisted of principals, teachers, volunteers and parents or guardians of TA SALAM Yogyakarta students. Data collection techniques using semi-structured interviews with data analysis coding. The results of this study indicate that teachers' perceptions about experiential learning in PAUD are in accordance with the theory put forward by David A. Kolb and Experiential learning is very suitable to be applied in PAUD.

Abstract

This research aims to explain about how new media became a social inequality factor that portrayed the market trading system in social phenomena. The emergence of new media in the community give the indirect fragmentation for the perpetrators of the deaf (Commercial Sex Workers). Based on the evidence obtained directly said that the current intensity of the role of Commercial Sex Workers people over the age of 40 years more favored by users from the lower middle class such as drivers and students. This is solely because the tariff installed by the workers of the participants over 40 years tends to be more accessible than the aged under 40 years. This phenomenon occurs after the advancement of technology that increasingly facilitate the community, especially the CSW under the age of 40 to take advantage of more opportunities by raising their rates for more capital in terms of beauty with purchase all kinds of fashion and brand-quality body care equipment through an online marketplace that can be easily accessed. This anomaly became interesting to be further researched about the impact that is, the emergence of new markets created due to new opportunities filled by the CSW over 40 years where they are more interested by users among the lower middle classes. This phenomenon shows the existence of social inequality which is influenced by social phenomena due to the rapid development of new media which also results in the poor image of Islam adopted by prostitutes.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze crowdfunding programs for children in the perspective of sharia accounting. This research uses qualitative research with a case study approach. The sampling technique in this study used purposive sampling by taking existing programs on the NUcare.id site with 21 populations and 6 samples obtained. The results of this study are the crowdfunding program for children on NUcare.id which is campaigned by Nahdlatul Ulama is in accordance with the perspective of sharia accounting, which meets all aspects of Sharia Enterprise Theory. While the effectiveness of each program has not been effective because the percentage is less than one percent compared to the total donation target. Suggestions for the next researcher are the need for more in-depth analysis related to crowdfunding for children by adding data collection techniques in the form of in-depth interviews to stakeholders who are more technical in implementing the program so that the data produced is more accurate.

Abstract

Mahasiswi difabel tunanetra tidak hanya mengalami hambatan dalam proses penglihatan namun juga memiliki problematika dalam proses perkuliahan dan maupun kehidupan sosial diantaranya permasalahan aksesbilitas, hubungan sosial, komunikasi, kesulitan dalam proses perkuliahan dan pandangan masyarakat sekitar. Hal ini mempengaruhi kondisi psikologis pada individu terutama pada mahasiswi, hal ini terjadi karena perempuan memiliki kerentanan genetik, perubahan hormon yang signifikan, kecenderungan memikirkan sesuatu hal secara berlebihan, dan tekanan dari sisi sosiobudaya. Keselarasan antara proses studi dan penerimaan diri dengan keterbatasan penglihatan menjadi tujuan utama yang terus dipertahankan dan dicapai oleh mahasiswi tunanetra, ditambah dengan berbagai tekanan dan problematika dalam menyelesaikan pendidikan, akan menjadi tantangan dan tekanan tersendiri bagi mahasiswi difabel netra yang dapat mempengaruhi kesejahteraan subjektif diri individu (Subjective Well Being). Tujuan artikel ini ialah untuk mengetahui Subjective Well Being pada mahasiswi tunanetra dan faktor yang memepengaruhi Subjective Well Being pada mahasiswi tunanetra. Metode yang digunakan ialah deskriptif kualitatif dengan metode studi kasus. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini ialah tiga mahasiswi penyandang tunanetra dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa mahasiswi tunanetra memiliki Subjective Well Being yang ditinjau dari dimensi penerimaan diri, tujuan hidup, pertumbuhan diri, otonomi, penguasaan lingkungan, dan hubungan positif dengan orang lain. Abstract

Planting character values is a process of developing culture in a natural way that is inherent in the pattern of work life that must be done. Implementation of character education in schools for example as part of education reform, character education can be likened to a tree that has four important parts, namely roots, stems, branches, and leaves. The roots of reform as a philosophical foundation (foundation) for the implementation of character education must be clear and understood by the community organizers and education practitioners. Building character education in schools through local wisdom culture contains values that are relevant and useful for education. Therefore, character education based on local wisdom can be done by revitalizing local culture. Building student character can be done throughout the learning process. In every learning process we can always slip the load of values of honesty, courage, perseverance and tenacity, self-confidence, diligent study and work, respect for parents and teachers, respect and love others, live tough not knowing the words of surrender and positive attitude another. Thus our job is to find the right numbers in the right order, so we can open the door to success. There is no specific recipe that makes people successful, except trying hard in the form of hard work, study hard, have a high curiosity, discipline, and resilient. Local culture which becomes the main can to develop children's character in the learning process at school. The most important thing is our sincerity as educators to always educate with the heart. Educating with heart will prioritize the formation of positive attitudes such as; Honest, tolerant, trustworthy, mutual and caring, optimistic, confident, tough and others.

Abstract

Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana pendidikan Islam berperan dalam membentuk dan memperkuat identitas kewarganegaraan pemuda Cina Muslim di Kota Pontianak. Melalui analisis mendalam terhadap pengalaman pendidikan, praktik keagamaan, dan interaksi sosial mereka, Tulisan inian ini mengungkapkan dinamika yang kompleks antara identitas etnis, agama, dan negara. Hasil Tulisan ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan keagamaan, tetapi juga menjadi sarana bagi pemuda Cina Muslim untuk mengkonstruksi identitas diri yang multidimensi. Lebih lanjut, Tulisan ini juga mengidentifikasi tantangan dan peluang yang dihadapi pemuda Cina Muslim dalam mengklaim dan mempertahankan status kewarganegaraannya di tengah pluralitas masyarakat Indonesia. Melihat akan peran pendidikan Islam dalam konteks pembentukan identitas kewarganegaraan pemuda Cina Muslim di Kota Pontianak. Dengan menggunakan metode pendekatan kualitatif, Pendidikan Islam membentuk pemahaman mereka tentang Islam, negara, dan kewarganegaraan. Hasil Tulisan inian menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan Islam tidak hanya memberikan pengetahuan keagamaan tetapi juga menacapai pengakuan kewarganegara yang baik dalam negara kesatuan Indonesia.

Abstract

The role of mothers in the family environment plays a quite dominant role in terms of children's education that makes a mother hold high responsibility in the progress of a nation. Therefore, a mother is required to have high self-quality to be able to educate future generations. But in reality in Indonesia there are still many quality mothers who still do not meet the needs and eligibility as a teacher in a household. For this reason, this study wants to find the level of quality of children's education from the role of a mother by conducting a study of the data obtained and found solutions to improve the quality of the mother. The results of this study indicate that with some actions will provide a positive thing for the quality and role of mothers in realizing the future of the nation through the future of a child as the successor generation of his nation.
