Abstract

Latansa Textile is one of the textile shops established in Balikpapan, East Kalimantan. The shop manages its sales transaction as a business report with a manual book and hand-writing. Hence, the transaction notes might be piled up. Delay of re-stock also occurred since the shop has never recorded the material stock, and it causes failure to comply with textile buyers' demand. To overcome the problem, a web-based sales system was developed to facilitate the process of transaction management. Object-Oriented Analysis and Design and Object-Oriented Programming methods were employed to develop the system. It was developed with Hypertext Preprocessor (PHP) as the programming language and Codeigniter as the framework. Unit testing and integration testing employed the white-box method, while validation testing employed the black-box method. Results of the unit testing and integration testing show that the system runs as designed. The result of validation testing shows that the system fulfills all the functional requirements. Thus, all the testing show 100% validity, and the system is ready to use.

Abstract

Bos Duren is a beverage shop in Malang that was founded in 2016. This shop sells several types of contemporary drinks with the main ingredients of durian fruit and coconut. The problem that occurs in Bos Duren Malang was that there are frequent human errors in recording transactions. Employees' errors can be seen from the low level of accuracy in calculating the number of sales and many sales transaction data recaps with different incoming money. The point of sale system was developed to solve these problems. Point of sale was expected to simplify the process of recording transactions. The waterfall model was used in the system development process. This research was conducted through a literature study, requirement engineering, design, implementation, testing, and decision-making. In this study, requirements engineering produced three actors, 37 functional requirements, and 1 non-functional requirement. This system has been tested using validation testing, integration testing, and unit testing. Testing on the system gets 100% valid for all tests. The test results show that the system was running and following the previous design and requirements engineering.

Abstract

Along with the development of network technology, threats related to the network are also growing, one of which is DDoS (Distributed Denial of Service). The increasingly advanced and affordable network infrastructure makes DDoS happen more and more. From year to year, there is a significant increase in the number of DDoS attack cases. Therefore, it is still necessary to study various algorithms for classifying data in networks that constitute deep DDoS. The SDN network was chosen because it has a simple implementation and does not require a lot of resources because of the information about the network topology and the controller that will be built using Ryu. The method used is the Random Forest algorithm as a method for classifying DDoS attacks. After conducting the research, the researchers found that Random Forest performed well in detecting DDoS attacks. The accuracy is quite high around 90% with an average detection time of 0.3 seconds.

Abstract

Social media is one of the most used media to get information in Indonesia. The high number of social media usage makes the risk of spreading negative content even greater. This was shown in 2018 the Ministry of Communication and Information received 547.506 complaints of negative content on social media where Twitter became the first most complained social media. The number of complaints creates problems if it has to be checked manually. Therefore, the authors propose research to build a negative content detector on Twitter documents. This research uses the Support Vector Machine method and Pipeline for hashtag segmentation. The process starts with preprocessing the data, then do hashtag segmentation with Pipeline, weighting using Term Frequency-Inverse Document Frequency, followed by classification using Support Vector Machine. In this research the test was carried out by K-Fold Cross Validation using 300 data divided into 10 fold. The test results with the highest accuracy were obtained at 0,8325 with learning rate = 0,0001, complexity = 0,001, lambda = 0,1, epsilon = 0,0001 and maximum iteration = 50.

Abstract

Electricity is one of the necessities of human life. One of those that provide electricity services in Indonesia is a state-owned company, namely PLN. PLN itself has 2 categories of electricity customers, namely, prepaid and postpaid. Postpaid customers make bill payments according to the energy used for a period of 1 month. However, in reality in the field, according to the head of the daily management of YLKI (Indonesian Consumers Foundation), Tulus Abadi, PLN officials frequently record errors for postpaid customer electricity meters. The problem is that PLN is still monitoring customers manually for postpaid electricity. To overcome this, it is necessary to establish a kwh meter monitoring system for PLN customers. This monitoring system will send KWH usage data using the LoRa communication protocol which will then be sent through the gateway, then the data will be forwarded to the broker using the MQTT protocol and the data will be subscribed to by the client so that the data can be monitored regularly. In the research conducted, the author of this monitoring system has an average percentage of error data kwh of 0% and a wattage of 0.6% compared to other sensors KWE-PM01. For sending data from the sensor node to the client it can run well. At a distance of 100 meters to 300 meters, sending from the sensor node to the gateway is the best delivery in this study. Because the successful rate for testing single and multiple nodes at this distance, the packet can be received 100% by the gateway.

Abstract

Apple fruit is one of the many types of fruit that has many benefits including preventing disease, nourishing the body and can lose weight. In general, some apple sellers are still unable to distinguish in the selection of apples with the right maturity level, while the human accuracy is not all the same. Everyone has different perceptions in making assessments. Also not everyone has a sharp sense of vision to color. Therefore, a study was made on a system that can classify the level of maturity of apples using the naive Bayes method. This method is a method that is quite good in classifying because the classes to be used are predetermined. In this study, the apple used was Rome Beauty. The level of maturity based on color and weight can be divided into three, namely raw green and ripe reddish yellow and foul yellow cloudy. The sensor readings are processed on the Arduino Uno microcontroller. The results obtained from this study are the level of accuracy on the load cell weight sensor of 96.09% and the level of accuracy on the color sensor of 96.67%. Also obtained the level of accuracy of the calculation of the naive Bayes classification of 100% and the system execution time with an average of 0.725 seconds.

Abstract

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle is one type of drone that has developed rapidly. UAV has a lot of potential that can be explored, both for personal needs such as a toys to professional needs such as military aid. As electronics and computer science develop, in-depth research on quadcopters is carried out. One of the studies that continues being developed is control system. Quadcopters needs control system in order to maneuver according to the purpose. The control system in a quadcopter includes many things, such as attitude and altitude control systems. This research is a simulation of the Parrot Mambo altitude control system using linearized transfer function and PID (Proportional Integral Derivative) by simplifying the Parrot Mambo block model in order to apply the PID tuning results into the Parrot Mambo nonlinear system. According to the results of the simulation, the application of the transfer function and PID in 5 levels of height test reduced overshoot to 0%, increased rise time to 4.216 seconds, and increased settling time to 3,468 seconds. Testing with 5 different masses with transfer and PID functions, was able to reduce overshoot to 0%, increase in rise time by 4.001 seconds, and increase in settling time by 4.216 seconds. In testing the response of the original blocks and simplified blocks, the results were identical results and did not affect the basic function of the system itself. This can be seen in the difference from the overshoot response which is 0.01%, the settling time is 0.1 seconds, and the rise time is 0.005 seconds.

Abstract

Kadiri University is a private university in Kediri. Currently, the attendance system at Kadiri University is still using manual system. The manual attendance system has several lakes, with manual system, students can manipulate their absences and there is an opportunity for errors in recapitulation of attendance data. From these problems, the authors provide a solution by designing a mobile presence aplication. With this design, the process of attendace data recapitulation become easier for lecturers, students, and academic staff, and this design also can minimize student absences data manipulation. The design process is carried out with a user experience creation approach using human-centered design methods and elements of user experience. The human-centered design method consisted of four stages of the approach, namely specify the context of use, specify needs, design application, and evaluate the design. The process of measuring the usability prototype used the heuristic evaluation method using ten usability heuristic principles. Based on the results of the evaluation, it is known that there were 18 problems in the prototype, H1 related to Visibility of System Status, H2 related to Match Between System and The Real World, H3 related to User Control and Freedom, H4 related to Consistency and Standards, H5 related to Error Prevention, H6 related to Recognition Rathen than recall, H8 related to Aesthetic and Minimalist, and H9 related to Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors. Problem with the highest average value was the problem with U5-1 code, which was the problem because there was no confirmation window for submit attendance.
