Abstract

Pedagogic competence is the main of terms that must be had for a teacher. in Information Technology Education Program Study, Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya University, obligate their students to do Educational Field Experience Placement to equip their graduates become a teacher. PPL has several part, they are Registration of PPL, Practice PPL I, Practice PPL II, and PPL Report. However, the information system for this program has not supported yet in Faculty of Computer Science at the same time. So that, the activity of PPL become less effective. According to that problem, this research aim to develop an information system that can support process PPL for every stakeholder. The system that will be developed having four features, they are Registration PPL for student, Record Logbook for student, Approve Logbook for teacher, and Assessment PPL for teacher. This system will be developed using Android platform for increase portability and accesibility of system. In this development is used metodology Extreme Programming. Then system will be tested using Black Box and Mobile (Android Platform) Compatibility Testing. The result shows that the system is 100% valid and 100% compatible.

Abstract

Politeknik NSC Surabaya is a private university in Surabaya that organizes education Diploma Program (D3). Politeknik NSC provides some services to students in conducting academic activities every day. Services provided one of them in the form of academic information system. Information systems that have been used intensively by all students is a website that can be accessed via desktop or smartphone. Based on interviews that have been conducted, the information system called Learning NSC Application (LENSA) does not have a good standard of procedure and control mechanism and cause some problems in the use of the system, such as when there is a system error, the handling will be slow. So it is necessary to evaluate the maturity of the system to determine the current level of maturity. This research uses ITIL framework with Service Operation domain. The purpose of this study is to provide recommendations to the agencies of the evaluation that has been done. The result of domain service operation maturity level is 1.87. The recommendation is made to increase the values ​​and reduce the value of expected expectations and can be done through the LENSA information system.

Abstract

The imbalance between the nutritional intake of pregnant women to meet the needs and energy expenditure must always be monitored, because the imbalance itself can result in Chronic Energy Deficiency both in mother and fetus in the womb. Therefore it needs an appropriate food composition to meet the nutrients and energy for pregnant women, so it can help them to determine their own food. The problem of food composition for pregnant women can be solved by hybrid genetic algorithm and Simulated Annealing. The purpose of combining this method is to produce a better solution than using a genetic algorithm alone. This problem solving process have used crossover method is one-cut point, mutation using reciprocal exchange method, selection using elitsm, and Simulated Annealing. Based on the results of the test of the parameters used in the optimization system of food composition that using genetic algorithm hybrid and Simulated Annealing, was obtained the best parameter values ​​are: population number = 2900, Cr = 0.4, Mr = 0.6, T0 = 1, alpha = 0.7 and the number of generations = 220. So the results of the system is in the form of food composition recommendation using hybrid genetic algorithm and Simulated Annealing that can meet the tolerance limit set by the nutritionists at ± 10%.

Abstract

Coal is a fossil fuel that is often used by industrial companies as a source of energy and power as a raw material for steelmaking. Coal is obtained by industrial companies through a sale and purchase transactions conducted with coal mining companies. Price is a major factor in the transaction process, because industrial companies need to design an expenditure budget every month before making a transaction. Budget design is done to maximize the company's money to meet all the needs of the company. Therefore, the prediction of coal price will be very beneficial for industrial companies that will buy coal products to know the estimated price in the future. The method used to make the prediction process is the method of Extreme Learning Machine (ELM). ELM has the advantage of fast computing time and small error rate, so ELM does not require a long time in the learning process. Based on the result of research, the best Means Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) score is 3,926804% for training process and 7,360343% for testing process.

Abstract

Department of Communication and Information Tulungagung (Diskominfo) is an institution that has the main function of formulating policies, evaluating and reporting in the field of communication and information service. But, in its implementation is still not optimal and there are constraints on the delivery and support of IT services such as the lack of references and of procedures in several processes that causes the process is not running optimally, the existing human resources are still inadequate in terms of skills and numbers. Diskominfo Tulungagung has never evaluated IT governance before. Therefore, an evaluation of information technology governance is needed using the COBIT 4.1 platform of Deliver and Support (DS) domains. The purpose of this study is to obtain the maturity level that obtained from the results of questionnaires and interviews with correspondents based on RACI Chart. The gap value is calculated between the current maturity level and what is expected by diskominfo. Based on previous calculations, recommendations is produced. From the results of the maturity level calculation, the average result of the DS domain is 1.50 and the gap value is 1.00 until 3.00. To achieve the expected maturity level, researchers provide recommendations in the form of suggestions that are doing good planning, formally documenting and making a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) document for each DS domain process. These are recommendations are expected to be implemented by field of E-Government Organization to achieve goals in better management of IT services.

Abstract

Laboratorium Tanah Benih Balai Pengkajian Teknologi Pertanian (BPTP) East Java is one of the institutes to do some research on plant nursery. One of soil testings which have been done in Laboratorium Tanah BPTP East Java is the parameter testing soil humadity. The research laboratory, right now, is developing an automatic watering based on soil humadity sensory to predict the amount of water needed to keep the humadity of the growing seed media. This research will figure out how much water plant volume with two input variables which are the initial humadity and flushing duration using Fuzzy Inference System Mamdani method. The two variables can cause often repeated rule based fuzzy or the same rule used more than once. Thus, to prevent these things to be happened, it needs fuzzy rule base fuzzy choice by using Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm. The testing was done in ten times trials by applying the amount of particles which is 250, value of inertia quality (w), which is 0,7, combination value of C1 and C2, which are 1,4 and 1,3, and the maximum iteration, which is 2500, and then it obtained the highest fitness value is on the seventh trial, which is 0,39949 with Root Mean Square Error (RMSE) value, which is 1,50319. The result from the highest fitness value is able to change the system from 27 arrangements to eight arrangements.

Abstract

Mountain climbing is one of nature's exploration activities that requires knowledge in understanding the map and area to be passed. However, not all climbers have knowledge of navigation, its causing the risk of getting lost while climbing. Navigation assistant that exist, only guide climbers only first route to final destination and can't save the route that already passed, until it causes climber difficulty going back to first route when they lost. Because that, in minimizing te risk of lost, be required navigation assistant device that cloud show the route has been passed. Based on these problems in this research created a navigation device assistant technology called GPS back track. This device is built with several components such a, the U-Blox Neo 6 M GPS module that functions in retrieving GPS data in the form of latitude and longitude coordinates, LCD display 800 x 480 TFT function displays information in the recording process running routes, Raspberry pi 2B functions process data input and output during the process of recording the route and the main resources for running the entire system using power bank. GPS back track has a feature that is able to open the recorded file that has been created and displayed on the LCD display. Based on the results of GPS accuracy testing, it is known that the GPS module error percentage at latitude coordinates is 3.77505% and longitude is 3.698758%. While in the testing of device recording, tracks and trackbacks functions can record routes and display them on the LCD in the form of route lines that are passed.

Abstract

Knowledge of melon plants is a must for the cultivators of melon plants, one of the knowledge is the diseases that can attack melon plants. Melon plant disease is one of the obstacles that faced by cultivators of melon plants. However, lack of understanding owned by the cultivators and the unavailability of disease experts in horticultural crops is one of the main factors that hold up the development of agriculture in melon plants. Thus, in melon plant problems can be developed melon plant disease diagnosis system. The method used is Certainty Factor, this method can accommodate uncertainty and describe the level of confidence of an expert against the facts. The melon plant diagnosis system receives input from the user and then the input will be calculated based on the trust level based on the user and the expert. After that, it will be compared with every single disease where the disease has the largest percentage that is believed to attack the melon plant. This research coantains 36 symptoms and 10 types of diseases in melon plants. In testing, this research used validation testing (black box) and accuracy testing. In the validation test obtained functionality level of 100% indicating the system in accordance with the list of needs. The accuracy rate of this system is 80% gain from accuracy test which indicates that this system is able to function well using Certainty Factor.

Abstract

Periodic monitoring of agricultural environmental condition is needed to growth the plant will be better, so it will improve the quality and quantity of agricultural products. The way of monitor environmental conditions periodically is an acquisition data system. The system requires minimum of two nodes, namely sensor nodes and gateways. Sensor node has function to put the data from the sensor and transmit it to the gateway, while the gateway receives the data and store it. Beside that a communication protocol is needed to connect both of nodes and to transmit the data wirelessly to remote monitoring, which one of it is LoRa. LoRa is a technology which has a wide range with low battery consumption, so it is suitable for monitoring agriculture in Indonesia, which is known as an agricultural country because of the wide area of agricultural land. There are two tests had been done, that are functional testing and performance testing. In the functional testing, the system can run properly where the system can put the till save it. The performance testing was hold to see the performance of the LoRa HopeRF-RFM9x module based on packet loss and delay with the influence of distance, packet size, and interval of delivery time. The result of the performance is the HopeRF-RFM9x module can transmit the packets well for 200, 300 and 400 meters.

Abstract

KOMINFO at Pasuruan is an institution that oversees the creation, maintenance and data security that related with information technology. KOMINFO serve making the system within the scope of government in Pasuruan. There are various system that have been made by KOMINFO, one of them is the city government website. DPMPTSP is one of agency in Pasuruan that serves the administration of licensing. In the licensing process, DPMPTSP encountered several obstacles such as the applicant file that was got accidently exchanged with the other applicants, too many permission application that also require high degree of accuracy, so making permission is longer. To overcome this, KOMINFO wants to create a website-based licensing system that can be accessed online. License to be made in this system: SIUP, TDP, TDUP and an advertisement. This system will be use to register permissions, view permissions status and validate permissions files. The result of requirement analysis is get 19 functional requirement and 1 nonfunctional requirement. Testing in this study using whitebox and blackbox for functional requirement. Whereas, the nonfunctional requirements are using compatibility testing. The result of testing, the valid value of each test case is performed which means that system is in accordance with requirement analysis.
