Abstract

Electrical energy needs in Indonesia is increasing along with economic growth and national industry and population growth every year. This increase occurs because electronic appliances such as air conditioners are left on, even though no one is in the room, the same example on the TV and left lit continuously in a room. This common practice is due to the principle of electronic devices using the on-off principle. To overcome these problems in this study will implement a system of fan and lamp conditioning using Fuzzy logic. The system will use some hardware such as Arduino Mega microcontroller with LDR input sensor as light sensor, DHT11 as temperature sensor, and two ultrasonic sensors as motion and distance sensors, and output will use DC motor as fan, and LED as lamp. Fuzzy logic on the system will use the help of Embedded Fuzzy Logic Library (eFLL), the library is used to facilitate the implementation of fuzzification process that determines the membership function of input and output, the inference process is the formation of Fuzzy rules and defuzzification process that is convert the input value into firm value. The level of accuracy and success of Fuzzy logic on the system will be tested by comparing the value of system output on the tool with the system output value in MATLAB. The average accuracy obtained for fan output reached 98.77% and the lamp output reached 92.54%.

Abstract

VANET (Vehicular Ad Hoc Network) is a wireless network technology developed from MANET (Mobile Ad Hoc Network) which is devoted for motorized vehicles. The main application of VANET technology is to realize better and safer traffic management. However, due to the high mobility of vehicles and varying road conditions, the most serious problem in VANET is the efficiency of the search process and maintaining network routes. AODV (Ad Hoc on Demand Distance Vector) is one solution to the VANET problem which is one of the reactive routing protocols. Variations of road models in Indonesia are divided into four groups based on the prevailing speed namely the freeway, inter-city roads, urban roads and residential roads. In each of these environments a simulation test was carried out with a difference in the number of vehicles. The simulation is carried out using Network Simulator v2.35 (NS-2.35) and SUMO as mobility generator. AODV performance is measured based on the parameters of average throughput, packet delivery ratio, and end-to-end delay in sequence. Test result on the freeway resulted in 111.48 KBps, 40.99 %, 0.14676 seconds. Test result on inter-city roads 156.20 KBps, 58.08 %, 0.08036 seconds. Test result on urban roads 210.07 KBps, 77.18 %, 0.05839 seconds. Whereas test result on residential roads 212.82 KBps, 77.27 %, 0.03362 seconds. These results show that the road model in Indonesia with the performance of the AODV routing protocol on the VANET network from the best to the worst in sequence is a residential road model, an urban road model, an inter-city road model, and freeway model.

Abstract

Head Movement Control System (HEMOCS) is a method that changes the control of objects on the system using head movement. In the field of education, apps for answering exam using the head movement control applied to the android platform can help disabled students to answer the exam. This application changes the function of hand-based input into head-based. Using Head Mounted Display (HMD) this application can be controlled with six single motions of lateral rotation to the right, lateral rotation to the left, lateral flexion right, lateral flexion left, flexion, extension and there are three combinations of rightward-rightward, leftward-leftward and downward-downward. Development of this application using the method of SDLC Prototyping, which iterated twice to get the needs in accordance with the user. Furthermore based on the design obtained, performed the implementation phase of the system. Based on the test conducted reusability obtained results of 80,5 which indicates that the application is easy to use by the user.

Abstract

PT.Cendana Teknika Utama is a company that focuses on product development in the field of mobile application, electronica control and web application. The products produced by the company are expected to support the demands of the current business development.But the fact that the products produced are still often found defects.This study aims to assess the level of product development process capability in one of the divisions in the company by using Capability Maturity Model Integration ( CMMI). The research method used is qualitative with data collection using interview and document search. Assessment stages were used using CMMI Appraisal Method for Process Improvement (SCAMPI) C class. Assessment was performed on six CMMI process areas selected based on the CMMI product roadmap. The six process areas consist of requirements development, requirements management, technical solution, process and product quality assurance, configuration management and verification. The result of the capability level assessment found that only the technical solution area process is at one level performed, while in other area process still at zero / incomplete level. From the results of the assessment conducted an analysis that contains solutions for companies to improve the level of capabilities

Abstract

PT. Eratex Djaja, Tbk Probolinggo is a company of garment production focusing on export sales. The company's main product is pants. Because the company is working on garment production, the most important thing is the production process. The production process has the greatest impact on the final result of the product. As a large company, PT. Eratex Djaja, Tbk Probolinggo applies Standard Operational Procedure (SOP) as guidelines for the business process. However, on daily basis, not all processes are performed in accordance with the procedure. The company has some defective or rejected products. Based on the indication of problems that have already found out, this research is evaluating the business process in the production activity using Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) to find out non-functional problems in the business process. The first to determine non-functional requirements and reformed main processes using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The next to determine the quality factor, company target and calculating, according to the questions in the QEF method. The results of calculations that are not in accordance with the target are 5 of 16 quality factors. They are not in accordance with company targets is analyzed using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to find out the root cause of the problem. The result of the FTA is expected to help minimize the problems in the current business process.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika has main business processes in the Communication Field that consist of business processes for forming community information groups, fostering community information groups, gathering news, reporting and publishing news, and maintaining KIM web. In the daily implementation of the business process, there are several problems that interfere with the business process. There are 6 problems found in the implementation, which are several mistakes in spreading the invitation letter, misunderstandings among stakeholders, not conducting data mining, collecting invalid information, report manipulation due to the delay in collecting KIM reports and making solutions that were not in accordance with the target. Based on existing problems, it is necessary to evaluate business processes and make improvements to business processes. The first step is to conduct analysis and evaluation using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method so it can analyze the problem deeply and sort the problem based on the highest RPN value that will be used as an evaluation. In determining ranking, it is assisted by the role of stakeholders in it. Continued to stage of preparing recommendations for business process improvement using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method with the help of tools at BPI, named streamlining. From the simulation results of current business processes (as is) and recommendations (to be) on business processes reporting and publishing news, it was found that an increase in time analysis experienced an increase in time effectiveness of up to 54.34%. The conclusion from the result is the business process recommendations (to be) can produce a faster duration of problem-solving and produce recommendations that can be applied to minimize problems that occur based on the results of analysis and evaluation.

Abstract

History is a record of the past about the changing in huma life. Every change in changes of history will provide a lesson for human life in the future. Similarly, what happens to life in Indonesia, every historical story that occurs in Indonesia has a high cultural values. One of them is the history of Majapahit Kingdom, wehere the history of Majapahit is one of the greatest historical stories and influences the life of Indonesian society, and the one is the story from The Journey of Gajah Mada to merge Indonesia in Majapahit, based on “Sumpah Palapa”. But at the moment, the lack of public interest, especially children about its history, makes history a forgotten one. This is caused by learning media such as books, and lessons that tend to make students bored. In this research, the development of educational games about The Journey of Gajah Mada with a fun and interactive paltformer game for student. Testing results obtained by filling questionnaire by 20 respondents are calculated through Likert index interpretation. The results show that overall game is 81%, game view is 100%, the game rate is 83%, and the game difficulty level is 63%. And result of Usability Testing with SUS is 75,75. It's mean that the game is acceptable, on rating C and excellent rating. And get increase value from the test, it means that the game can be a education game media

Abstract

In choosing a college and course must be in accordance with their interests respectively because the interest is owned is the first step to achieve the desired learning outcomes, which is subsequently embodied in the selection of courses. But the fact is based on the survey that the authors do, there are 59% of students from 100 students who are confused and feel hesitant in determining which colleges or courses they should choose. One of the factors that caused it was the lack and the difficulty of the information they get about the higher education and study programs that exist in Indonesia. To overcome this, it is necessary an application information portal system of universities in Indonesia. This system will be made with web-based. This system will help students to facilitate in obtaining information about the college, as well as information about the study program. In addition, students can take the online exam and compare it with the passing grade of the study program that has been selected previously. This is done to determine the ability of the students whether it is sufficient or not to enter the college and the study program, and also with these results students can better prepare well. The system has been successfully tested using the white box testing method for unit testing with result low program complexity value means a high testability value, which means that the system is easily evaluated by testing and blackbox testing using validation where the result for validation testing for 71 functionality are 100% valid and the result of compatibility testing shows that the system can run on 3 typesof web browsers

Abstract

Medicinal plants are one of natural resources that is rarely known by Indonesian. Medicinal plants, known as simplicia, have various health benefits. What people know about simplicia is still very low, so they tend to choose modern medicines which costs much more than simplicia. In fact, simplicia is also safe and can save cost. But, because there are so many alternatives, eventually people become confused to choose which one is the most suitable for them. The parameters used to choose simplicia alternatives are the price, taste, availability of materials and nutritious substances. These parameters are used as references for choosing simplicia alternatives. This research uses Analytical Network Process (ANP) and Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) methods which are used for weighting and ranking. The ranking result obtained by ANP and SAW methods has accuracy on fever 40%, diarrhea 50% and cough 40%. The low tendency accuracy is caused by different usage of criteria weighting between target data and outcomes as well as the influence of innerdepence between criteria.

Abstract

Audio recording is one of the multimedia files that are often encountered today. One example is the sound recording that can be used as evidence in the trial of the law. The proof of sound recording is supported by UU No 11 Tahun 2008 Pasal 5 ayat 1 regarding information and electronic transactions that stated : "Electronic information and / or electronic documents and / or prints are legal evidence". Therefore, sound recording is very important to be kept secret from an unauthorized party. This study focuses on the aspect of confidentiality. This research implements SPECK algorithm to encrypt audio recordings. DHKE is also implemented as a public key exchange algorithm. Execution time encryption and decryption is performed by using various files extension and the duration of different audio recordings. The time of encryption and decryption of each file extension is slightly different. The execution time difference of encryption and decryption is less than 23 seconds. The results show that the file extension does not affect the execution time. The execution time is affected by the size of the file, whichs mean the bigger the size of the file, the longer the execution time.
