Abstract

The existing food recipe search application only uses text queries. Text queries often does not represent everything the user wants and cannot be done if user only knows food images. Solution offered to overcome this problem is make food recipe search using food image. Image search is done by measuring similarity between query image features and corpus image features. Features image are obtained by extracting Simple Morphological Shape Descriptors and Color Moment features. After feature extraction, similarity measurements are carried out using Euclidean Distance. Then system display search results which are as many as n images that have the greatest degree of similarity. The results of this study indicate the highest MAP value at k-rank 10 is 95.713% and the lowest MAP value is at k-rank 100 is 76.108%. Color Moment feature is better than Simple Morphological Shape Descriptors because MAP Color Moment value is higher at 93.32% than the Simple Morphological Shape Descriptors is 89.8%. Merging of the two features proved to be able to increase MAP value. It can be concluded that at k-rank 10 system returns good results according to user requirements and the use of the two merged features can overcome disadvantages of using each feature.

Abstract

Premature Ventricular Contraction (PVC) Arrhythmia is an anomaly heartbeat that occurs because of the heartbeat rhythm disorder in the ventricles. PVC that happens too often can lead to dangerous disease such as heart failure.From this problem, it is necessary to make a system that detect the type of PVC that can be used independently so it can reduce the number of individuals who have a heart disease because of PVC. This research has a parameter used to make a comparison on each type of PVC, that is heartbeat time interval and BPM by using ECG technique to measure the heartbeat. Determination of PVC type with those parameters is obtained from ECG AD8232 sensor value by Arduino Uno using Naive Bayes method. Naive Bayes is used in this research because PVC can be classified by using nine features as the basis, that is eight R Interval value and BPM value. This research outputs is displayed using Processing. A BPM tests of this research gives 8,558% percentage average error. Furthermore, a classification result test using Naive Bayes with 46 training data and 14 test data gives 92,857% accuration with 7,2 second average computation time.

Abstract

Public complaints reporting application for Malang city is an e-complaint application that utilizes GPS and geotagging technology. The application was developed to report various problems that occurred in various fields in Malang. User experience is an important factor for the success of e-complaint. This study aims to design the user experience for public complaints reporting application for Malang city. Evaluation using usability testing and User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) is done to measure the user experience level and to know the problem about user experience from application design that has been built. Some of the problems are the menus that was not successfully found by users and user's incomprehension to use application features. After the initial evaluation is done then do redesign as solutions of user experience problems on the old design. The comparison of usability value of old application design and new design obtained significant difference that is equal to 48.98%. The comparison of UEQ benchmark scale also can be seen that the scale of attractiveness and perspicuity change from the category of “bad” into “good”, on the scale of efficiency, dependability, and stimulation change from the category of “bad” into “excellent”, and on novelty scale change from the category “below average” into “excellent”. Thus, it can be concluded that the design solution gives a more positive perception in terms of user experience and better in terms of usability.

Abstract

Currently, The implementation of school transport has been done a lot of school, private and even the government. One of them is MI Salafiyah Kasim school. Although the school transport system has been implemented for years, there are obstacles such as students who are delivered not always the same every day, the driver delays in delivering to the destination, the school driver who always prioritizes personal experience and fund of transportation operations that are still unstable . To overcome these problems, the authors use the Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm in the optimization to get the order of delivery of students with the shortest route that can be passed by the school driver. The results of this study compared actual sample data one day delivery with the system that has been designed. Of the five experiments applied to each kloter, three of them are able to produce a better route recommendation than the usual driver. Once reviewed overall, the system is considered to work well and produce a fairly optimal solution.

Abstract

Today technology is possible to help people in their daily activity. Technology also help people in important things. Technology has been implemented by several Organisasi Perangkat Daerah (OPD), there are Badan Perencanaan dan Pembangunan Daerah (BAPPEDA) and Badan Pengelolaan Keuangan dan Aset Daerah (BPKAD) Kabupaten Sidoarjo to conduct reporting. However, the submission of reports carried out still uses On-Line Transaction Processing (OLTP). Therefore, Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) Kabupaten Sidoarjo built a data warehouse that is useful for integrating all OLTP data on each OPD, so that the reporting data source becomes centralized and is also useful as OLTP data back-up. The first stage in building a data warehouse is requirements analysis. In this case, requirements analysis data warehouse uses a mixed-driven approach. Based on the results of the requirements analysis, three information packages have been obtained, they are information package budget planning, budget proposal, and budget realization. The information package produced two multidimensional designs in the form of star schema and based on the results of validation testing by conducting expert judgment and verification testing using Requirement Traceability Matrix (RTM) showed that the design that had been made was 100% valid and according to user needs.

Abstract

PLN (Persero) East Java distribution Gresik area was a company located in an industrial area, offering services to customers where most of the customers were business and industrial customers who had a medium voltage which is 100-200 kVA is called getting electricity customers. But there were still some obstacles in serving new electrical connections, which was the Customer Service Division must ask each division in charge to know the progress of the electricity installation process. To answer this problem, business process modeling, requirements analysis, design and implementation were carried out by applying an object-oriented approach in the New Electricity Installation Information System. After that, the results of the system implementation were tested to find out if the system could run according to the requirements that had been identified. Business process modeling produced As-Is business process models and To-Be business processes, requirements analysis with 28 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement, as well as visualizing the system's capabilities in a use case diagram. The results of the system design were models of object interactions in sequence diagrams, object models in class diagrams, database design, algorithm design, and interface design. The result of the implementation was a web-based New Electricity Installation Information System tested with 3 blackbox tests, which were browser compatibility testing, display responitivity testing, and validation testing.

Abstract

Before smart home devices can be used by users, their services and capabilities need to be discovered first. However, there are some issues regarding standardization in that process. Standardization is critical to ensure devices' interoperability. This research proposes Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) protocol as the standard to discover and utilize available smart home devices on the network. Devices' services and capabilities can be learned through UPnP discovery and description. Once discovered, smart home devices can be controlled by sending them control messages or regularly monitored by subscribing to event message which will be sent off by smart home devices whenever their state changed. UPnP protocol was implemented on four different ESP8266 microcontrollers, each of which is connected to a PIR motion sensor, magnetic switch door sensor, SCT-013-000 current sensor, or relay module. Users can search, discover and utilize available smart home devices on the network through a control point application runs on Android. Test results showed that the average time for smart home devices to be fully discovered, to respond to a control message, and to send event message are 279.33 ms, 235.79 ms, and 220.49 ms respectively. Another test results showed that the SCT-013-000 current sensor readings' accuracy was 98.48 %.

Abstract

Dinikoe Keramik is one of UMKM that produce and sell various kinds of souvenir made of ceramic. One of the most important part of the UMKM is the process of selling and retaining customers. The existing sales process at UMKM held by phone call or store visiting. Thus, that existing sales process has disadvantages complaint from the customer is one of that disadvantages that happened oftentimes, that complaint came because of the customers didn't get the fast response about the product and order questions. Moreover, there's no integration information system so that business process in the organization run slowly. Therefore, Dinikoe Keramik needs an information system that using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) strategy to maintain customer loyalty. The system is builded by using Waterfall method which have some processes such as business process analysis and requirements, design, system implementation, and testing. To fulfill the customer's needs, 16 functional needs and 2 nonfunctional needs used as the basic of system development process. The result of system testing showed that the system could meet the user's functional needs, run on the type and version of web browsers tested by the SortSite tool, and effectiveness testing generate 97% score at customer's user group and 83% at sales staff's user group.

Abstract

In order to improve service and welfare of the community, a village has the right to obtain a portion of the central and regional financial funds received by the district called Alokasi Dana Desa (ADD) which is channeled through Village / Village Cash. However, the government did not get information about financial management in the village and asked for funds with inappropriate financial statements that confused financial supervisors in government offices. Therefore this research was conducted with the aim of facilitating the supervision process of the use of village funds, with the support and development of a web-based reporting system for financial oversight of the supervision of village funds, because all financial reports, funds usage reports and village activities will be entered into the website supervision of village funds and can be directly checked by the financial supervisor. In this study using the prototyping software development model, and bootstrap framework, and using jquery and javascript in making the display system more interactive. Testing this system uses the white box method and black box testing for functional testing, and compatibility testing methods for non-functional testing. The results of testing on 45 Functionalities in the management application for village fund allocation obtained 100% valid results, the system can be run on two different browsers on Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.

Abstract

Twitter is on of many social medias where the user often tell about events that are happenings around them, ranging from insignificant to important things. Twitter's qualities where the user could make a tweet anywhere in a brief time frame, make it feasible for critical information to appear before the media even report it. However, it is difficult to comprehend what relevant events are occuring in a specific region because of the sheer size of scale and diverse sort of tweets. Accordingly, there is a need of a framework that could do pertinent event detection and give a summary about that event. In light of the reason expressed over, this research center around text summarization for event detection of Indonesian Twitter archive utilizing Affinity Propagation. Through the process of clustering, the resulting clusters become the representation of events occuring in a specific place and time period. Two kinds of data are used for assessment, first is themathic which has spesific kind of event happening in the time frame of the tweet and second is generic where the tweet are taken from an arbitary time frame. In order to get the best resulting cluster, parametesr of Affinity Propagation are evaluated reuslting in preference of quartile 3 dan minimum, damping factor of 0,3 and 0,5, changed limit of 1 and 2, iteration maximum of 250 as the best parameters for the thematic and generic data. The result of tweet summary from the clustering process are then compared with a specialist's summary to be evaluated by ROGUE-N method, scoring 0,459 and 0,4009 respectively on two kinds of data.
