Abstract

E-learning is a platform that provides educational content, activities and support for managing learning programs using a combination of Information and Communication Technology. The purpose of this study was to determine usability and User Experience (UX) on Zenius.net's website with three aspects, namely general usability, pedagodical usability and user experience. This study uses the TUXEL method, which is a method used to evaluate usability and user experience in e-learning using three questionnaires, namely the problem reporting table, general LMS evaluation checklist and user experience evaluation. Retrieval of data through a validated questionnaire then distributed to respondents with sampling using non probability sampling techniques. The sample used was obtained from research on students of SMK N 12 Malang with a total sample of 10 students with characteristics of having knowledge about e-learning. The data obtained will be analyzed by descriptive analysis method. The evaluation results obtained from the three questionnaires, namely the problem reporting table, found 14 problems from the four variables, namely login, general interfaces, assignments and assessments. The General LMS evaluation checklist found 18 problems from the four variables namely Help and Documentation, LMS Learnability, Learning Through the LMS and LMS Flexibility. At User Experience Evaluation, it gets a positive mean value. The Zenius website excels in the dimensions of supporting, innovative, creative and motivating. Zenius.net is suitable for use in independent learning.

Abstract

Determining lecturers' burden of teaching is a routine activity in all universities, especially for department administrator in each faculty. This matter done as the number of classes taken by students in each semester is always different, yet the number of lecturers are relatively fixed. Determining lecturers' burden of teaching must be done so that the lecturer does not exceed the maximum limit and the teaching process will not deviate from lecturer's interest. The Informatics Engineering program of the Faculty of Computer Science, Brawijaya University Malang is still carrying out the process of determining lecturers' burden of teaching manually, so that it requires a lot of time because it has to adjust between the interest of the subject with lecturer's interest. One optimization method that can be used to overcome this problem is a genetic algorithm. The genetic algorithm process in this study uses integer number representation, crossover method with one cut point crossover, mutation method with reciprocal exchange mutation and random mutation, and selection method with elitism selection. Based on the tests performed, optimal parameters were obtained, the number of population was 70, the combination of cr and mr respectively 0.5, and the number of generations was 4000 with the highest fitness value produced was 0.090909.

Abstract

Natural disasters are a series of events caused by nature that can lead to human casualties, environmental damage, property losses, and psychological impacts. The Android-based crowdsourcing application for natural disasters (Kitana) utilizes information from various circles of society regarding natural disasters both before and after a disaster. This study aims to design how a good user experience can be achieved by users when using the Kitana. The approach or method that used in designing a user experience is Human-Centered Design (HCD). After collecting a list of user needs and tasks, the solution design will be produced, the form of the solution design is a wireframe, information architecture and screenflow that was carried out as the path of the application prototype. By using a high-fidelity prototype, then usability evaluation of solution design was carried out using cognitive walkthrough with users and produced several problem findings, where the findings would be corrected and re-evaluated using the same method (cognitive walkthrough with users) and referring to 4 (four) cognitive walkthrough questions. The results of this study are the suitability of user experience design using HCD and usability evaluation using cognitive walkthrough with users resulting in a 76% increase in usability and user experience.

Abstract

A company or organization is required to use a computerized Employee Application System to overcome problems that arise that can reduce company productivity. Based on interviews with the general head of subdivision and staffing, it can be concluded that the Personnel System in the BPKAD office is still manual, namely the Submission Process File Increase Rank made by employees can cause a delay in promotion due to ignorance of employees and the length of the promotion process. Because after passing through a period of four years (exceeding the period of regular promotion) can affect employee motivation. And also a lot of ignorance of employees about the Pension Preparation Period (MPP) program by releasing employees who for the next 1 year will retire and still receive basic salary. As well as employees do not know the follow-up of the process of filing promotions and MPP files submitted. The employee scoring system based on Employee Work Goals (SKP) and work behavior currently uses Microsoft Office Excel as a media assessment. Appraisal officials in calculating values ​​use the copy paste formula so that frequent errors in writing (human error) and assessment of work behavior are still subjective. To handle theses problem, a solution that canbe aplied is to develop a web-based staffing system in accordance with the features, namely file submission feature and retirement preparation period and employee assessment based on SKP and employee work behavior. This researchs begin by analyzing systen requirement, then performing the design and implernentation stages. In this study using Framework CI (CodeIgniter). Furthermore, testing the system using unit testing, integration testing, validation testing, and usability testing. The results of validation testing show that the system can work properly according to needs, and for the results of usability testing shows the results of the calculation of the score of 96.6% so that it can be concluded that the role of the system in accelerating and facilitating staffing activities has been fulfilled.

Abstract

Every year the population of DKI Jakarta Province always increases. It requires the government to improve the quality of public transportation. Train is one of public transportation in DKI Jakarta. Train is a transportation that is used as an alternative mode of transportation when going to travel far to avoid congestion in the city. Therefore, it needs to plan the train capacity for custumer satisfaction. The excessive or less passengers will have an impact on the performance of PT KAI, resulting in the need forecasting the number of passengers departure for trains which the result can be used by the local government and PT KAI to improve services. This research uses and compares the accuracy of Double Exponential Smoothing and Triple Exponential Smoothing. This research uses 156 records of number of passengers, from Januari 2005 to December 2017 obtained from the data published by Statistic Indonesia. From the study testing, the smallest MAPE is found in Triple Exponential Smoothing, it is 3,213% with the most optimal parameters are =0,4, =0,4 and =0,1. The MAPE value is under 10%, it means the method can predict very well.

Abstract

Cancer is a disease that originates from several body cells that can divide without stopping and can spread to surrounding tissues. Then split cell will attack and damage the surrounding tissue. Especially in breast cancer or occupying the top level in cancer. This cancer originates from a glandular tract in the breast which declared a malignant tumor. In the detection this disease can use bioinformatics techniques, namely proteomic studies. Output produced is a grouping of the results of the anti-cancer process on the development of cancer in the form of clustering using the K-Means process which is divided into 2, active and inactive. The results of system testing were carried out using Silhoutte Coefficient and Precision Recall Accuracy. In the Silhoutte Coefficient test getting the optimal cluster is 5 with a value of 0.6827. Whereas in testing the Precision Recall Accuracy, the Precision value was 67.59%, the Recall value was 79.57%, and the accuracy rate was at 57.71%. Using 10-fold cross validation get an average accuracy of 62.26%.

Abstract

Tirta Investama Company (AQUA) Pandaan is a company that manufactures in the bottling of drinking water. In the process of drinking mineral water production, this company produces some brands in various kinds of the size, such as AQUA 5 Galloon, AQUA 220 ml, Mizone 500 ml, AQUA 600 ml, and AQUA 1500 ml. Manufacturing Area 4 (SHINTA) has cooperated with a manufacturing division which focuses on producing AQUA 600 ml. In the production process of AQUA 600 ml, it often experiences the achievement of activities that are not in accordance with the target of the company which can cause the achievement of production targets to go up and down based on the OE (Operational Efficiency) indicator on the PRS (Production Reporting System) information system. Based on these problems, it is necessary to evaluate the current production business processes. The first step is identifying business processes using the Value Chain Analysis method and modeling using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). The result will be an evaluation of the production business process using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method and known 16 quality factors with 4 quality factors that are not in accordance with the target company. The incompatibility of quality factors will be analyzed using the Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) method to find the root cause of the problem. FTA results from a quality factor mismatch are the skills of operators in recognizing the condition of machine parts differently and the level of product standards is higher.

Abstract

One Click Service-Computer Based Test (OCS-CBT) is a website-based online examination system that is applied at SMK PGRI 3 Malang. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of the One Click Service-Computer Based Test (OCS-CBT) system at SMK PGRI 3 Malang using the modified SERVQUAL model. This model consists of seven variables, namely assurance, empathy, responsiveness, reliability, website content, service quality, and satisfaction. The population of this study were active students of SMK PGRI 3 Malang in class X and XII for 1664 people. The sample was determined using the Slovin formula with a margin of error 9% and getting respondents numbered 160 people. Data obtained from the distribution of questionnaires with the technique of proportional stratified purposive sampling based on expertise. The analysis used is descriptive statistics. The results of the study showed that assurance variables (71,60%), empathy (67,00%), responsiveness (68,80%), reliability (74,80%), website content (74,20%), service quality (75,20%), and satisfaction (74,60%) is in the high category. The recommendations of this study are training employees who handle OCS-CBT, creating Service Level Agreement (SLA), implementing self help, forming service desks, adding features according to student needs, increasing internet speed, minimizing image file size or graphs, double check or preview the questions before the students work, and make a format or rules for file types and the size of content about exam questions.

Abstract

In fulfilling economic needs in Indonesia the agricultural commodity sector has a very important role. Due to agricultural commodities are the livelihoods and basic consumption of the people in Indonesia. Daily people's needs cannot be separated from agricultural commodities, one of which is large red chili. This is due to the level of consumption of large red chili used for kitchen spices and the ingredients are quite high. Therefore large red chili which is included in agricultural commodities can be categorized as the primary food needs in people's lives. The prices of large red chili which are erratic and tend to rise can cause losses to the state and society. To overcome this problem, one solution is to forecast prices that can be used to predict the possibility of chili price increases quickly and accurately. This study aims to forecast the price of large red chili using the ELM method. Based on the results of the implementation and analysis that has been carried out using the data of large red chili prices from July 18, 2016 to December 28, 2018 the smallest error was obtained using Mean Absolute Error (MAPE) of 3 % using 2 feature, the number of neurons as many as 3 and the range of weight values ​​[-1,8, 1,8].

Abstract

Beauty vlogger is a term for people who do vlog activities to discuss beauty issues and make up tutorials on YouTube. Beauty vloggers often get body shaming comments. In Indonesia, body shaming comments are a violation regulated in the Electronic Information and Transaction Act (UU ITE). Body shaming comment classification system can help to classify body shaming comments more efficient and faster. Body shaming comment classification system in this research uses the BM25 and K-Nearest Neighbor methods. Process in this research are pre-processing each data to look for words that are characteristic for each data, then calculate the term frequency based on the number of words contained in each data, then calculate the inverse document frequency, then calculate the BM25 score and sorting the data. The last step is to do the K-Nearest Neighbor classification. This study uses 600 data comments with 300 data on body shaming class, and 300 data on not body shaming class. The average of all k-fold cross validation tests obtained the highest value, namely precision = 0.87153019, recall = 0.86666667, f-measure = 0.86606885, and accuracy = 0.86666667 at value k = 3. The value of testing using balanced data is much better than testing using unbalanced data, with the highest average value of testing unbalanced data, namely precision = 0.84306693, recall = 0.775, f-measure = 0.7582337, and accuracy = 0.775.
