Abstract

ARP(Address Resolution Protocol) is a protocol to translate an IP address into MAC address. ARP is used when a host wants to communicate with another hosts whose MAC address is unknown, it broadcast an ARP request packet for the hardware address associated with the IP address of a destination. The host with corresponding protocol address sends a unicast reply to the sender. Protocol ARP is a stateless protocol which caused ARP protocol has a vulnerability. ARP vulnerability support a network attack called ARP Spoofing attack or ARP cache poisoned attack. ARP Spoofing attack perform cache poisoning by sending spoofed ARP packet. ARP spoofing is capable of executing the other attack such as DOS attack, Man in the middle attack, host impersonating, etc. This research was conducted to detect ARP Spoofing attack using based on ARP packet traffic. ARP packet traffic will be checked by detector host. Detector host checks the header of packet, amount of packet, MAC duplication and ARP request of ARP reply packet. The information of ARP spoofing packet will be written on log file. The classification rate was 89.64% and the average time to detect the attack is 0.4 second.

Abstract

Digital Citizen Journalist (DJ) is a mobile application to write reviews owned by Times Indonesia. This application is made with intention to fulfill public needs and make it easier for them to convey their aspirations. This application needed an usability evaluation to help its users to use it. Usability component tested in this study are learnability, efficiency, memorability, error and satisfaction. This research use usability testing method, interview and system usability scale questionnaire (SUS). All of the participant in this research are DJ's new user with age range between 15-17 years old, 18-24 years old and 25-64 years old. Usability testing and interview conducted with nine participant in order to find out about its learnability, efficiency, memorability and error component and also its problems. SUS questionnaire filled by 20 participant to find out about its satisfaction component. The evaluation results shows efficiency (0,12 goals/sec and 74%), errors (0,29), increased memorability, satisfaction (74) and good learnability. This results indicates needs for further research. From interviewing participants found 40 problems with 20 different problems. From all problems found, 17 recommendations about application interface and application features are given based on suitable guidelines. These recommendations are also given with all the age categories in mind to give the optimal solution.

Abstract

In Indonesia domestic rice production and rice imports are needed in order to attain national rice consumption. As the number of people increases and imported rice are consumed continuously, therefore Indonesia depends on rice imports from other countries. Prediction is needed to control the volume of national rice imports because excessive imports will cause negative losses and impacts. Support Vector Regression (SVR) is used to predict the volume of national rice imports. The data used in the prediction are data on consumption, production, volume of rice imports 1 year earlier as bebas variables and data on the volume of national rice imports in the period 1971 - 2016 as terikat variables. Tests carried out using 9 test data obtained the best parameters Sigma (σ) = 0.07, Lambda (λ) = 0.4, Constanta Learning Rate (cLr) = 0.01, Kompleksitas (C) = 10, Epsilon (ε) = 0.0004, the number of Iterations = 2000 and the number of training data = 37. The evaluation results were measured using Mean Absolute Presentage Error (MAPE). The best MAPE value produced is included in the sufficient category of 32.2748

Abstract

Process of letter managing and dispositioning in PT PGAS Solution is not effective and takes a long time. This condition causing various problems such as wrong recipients of dispositions, the recipient who is not in the office, late implementation, has no report, and often loss disposition sheet that has been distributed. Therefore, a website-based system is established where the required engineering needs a total of 23 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. These needs are designed and implemented through an object-oriented approach, using Ruby on Rails (RoR). RoR was chosen because this framework builds websites by abstracting and simplifying the most repetitive tasks. Rails and most of its libraries are also open sources. In white-box testing carried out through unit testing and integration testing, the value of the cyclomatic complexity calculation obtained from each test case is between 1-10. In the validation test, a test of 35 test cases was carried out with the conclusion that the system can run well. Then in compatibility testing, the system successfully runs on 4 different browsers without any fatal errors. Through this development, a system which can facilitate the management of the letter and its dissociation process is produced.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country that has a great diversity of cultures and natural wealth. One of Indonesia's natural wealth that is the attraction of the world is its tourist attractions. The beauty of tourist attractions in Indonesia makes Indonesia becomes a country that is often visited by foreign tourists on vacation. Tourism is one business that can increase economic growth. Tourists visit is increased sigficantly due to many factors, including competitive travel costs, promotion strategies that continue to be intensified, and many adequate travel routes. This must be balanced with adequate facilities and guaranteed security. The number of visitors that cannot be ascertained must be predictable in anticipation of sudden increases or deterioration, so that the state can determine policies towards changes in the number of visitors in the future. The method that will be used to predict in this study is the average-based fuzzy time series models and the using 216 data obtained from the official website of the Statistic Indonesia, it is data of the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia in the period January 1999 to December 2016. Based on the result of the study obtained MAPE value is 10,140%, that MAPE value is good to predict, because it is under 20%. So can be concluded that average-based fuzzy time series is good enough to predict the number of foreign tourists visit to Indonesia.

Abstract

PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan is a company engaged in the production of Bottled Drinking Water. PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan produces a variety of products, ranging from 220 ML, 600 ML, 1500 ML, 5 Gallon and Mizone packages. Manufacturing Area 3 (SRIKANDI) is one of the manufacturing divisions at PT Tirta Investama (AQUA) Pandaan that produces 220 ML bottled water. In carrying out the 220 ML packaging production process, there are problems that occur which cause the results of the business process to be carried out not in accordance with the expected targets and can affect the production business process in manufacturing area 3 (SRIKANDI). Based on these problems, it is necessary to conduct an evaluation of the current business processes by identifying current business processes using the Value Chain Analysis method to map the main activities and supporting activities, then determine the quality factors that exist and perform calculations at all quality factors by using the Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF). Then look for the root problem in quality factors that are not in accordance with method 5 Why Analysis. The evaluation results obtained obtained 4 quality factors that were not appropriate, namely in Q5, Q8, Q11 and Q12. The results of these quality factors become problems that can affect the production business processes that are applied.

Abstract

Dinas Komunikasi dan Informatika (DISKOMINFO) kota Malang is one of the government agencies that apply information technology to support the information processing processes that it carries out. In order for the information processing to go according to expectations, IT governance is needed that is good and in line with the objectives of the relevant agencies. Based on the results of interviews conducted, several problems were found in the implementation, such as the implementation of the SOPs had not been carried out maximally, some personnel were still carrying out duties from other personnel, lack of technical personnel, MONEV activities do not run optimally and are carried out informally. Some of theses problems can be classified into processes in the Plan and Organise and Monitor and Evaluate domains in the COBIT 4.1 framework. COBIT 4.1 is used to determine the level of IT maturity and also provide recommendations form the evaluation acivities carried out. Evaluation results show, in the PO domain the average value of maturity is 2.6 or reaches level 3 (Defined Porcess, while in the ME domain the average maturity level is 2.25 or reaches level 2 (Repeatable but intuitive. Recommendations are given eith the aim that DISKOMINFO kota Malang can increase the value of IT maturity, so that existing forms of IT governance can be improved.

Abstract

Plagiarism is an inseparable thing from an academic environment. Various motivations including working part-time and social dilemmas contribute to the high percentage of plagiarism at the university level. Handling with the plagiarism detection method has many disadvantages, such as the emergence police-criminal paradigm, value-oriented mindset, and technical weakness such as inability in analyzing translated documents. Hellas, Leinonen, and Ihantola's research with the plagiarism prevention method has several shortcomings, namely ignoring the process of work so that students can be cheated by buying assignments, the analysis at the end makes students able to cheat during assignments, no any log produced so the teacher can't assess student effort, and the software is tied to a particular platform. This research aims to perfect previous research by adding a snapshotting process that records document changes, user activity logging which records student activities, and build the systems with agnostic properties so that there is freedom to choose the form of tasks and the software that will be used. The system is tested using unit testing, integration, validation, automated testing, and compatibility. Unit testing and integration are valid and exceed 70% code coverage, validation testing in 32 test cases are valid, and compatibility testing shows the system is running well on six common desktop environments. Valid automated testing that contains no errors can speed up the testing process.

Abstract

Economic growth in the information and communication sector in Indonesia continues to rise every year. This is driven by the number of internet users, for example online transactions. This positive growth has made changes spending patterns of Indonesian people increasingly shifting towards electronics or online shopping. Whereas Awesam sells products according to the wishes of the users still in the conventional way that makes customers have to come direclty to the store. The sales coverage is still small because it can only make sales in certain areas. The absence of customer-related database such as contacts, names and geographic information and purchase history makes a lack of service to customers. This certainly makes Awesam not able to compete in online sales. The solution to handle some of these problems is by developing a sales information system using Rational Unified Process (RUP) method based on Sales Force Automation (SFA). The final result of this research is a sales information system to assist the Awesam in handling each transaction, improve service to customers and face competition. Some tests carried out to maintain software quality including validation testing conducted to find out the functional system can run well which shows 100% valid, responsiveness testing to ensure the system can adapt to the size of the user's screen resolution shows that displays can adapt to 3 sizes of resolution properly. As well as compability testing to test non-functional requirements that indicate no errors have occurred.

Abstract

When the learning process in the learning media class can help teachers when delivering material. But there are problems during the implementation of the learning process that is the absence of learning media used by the teacher, the material obtained by students comes from the internet and students search for material independently so as to result in low student learning outcomes or under the KKM. Based on the problems identified, this study has the aim of developing flash-based media or learning resources. Development of media or learning resources using the Four-D model, this model has four stages, namely the Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate stages. Data collection techniques used were interviews, tests, and questionnaires. The results of the validation test from material experts and media experts stated that flash-based learning media were valid and appropriate to use when used for the learning process with a percentage value of 94.11% for the validity level of the material and included in the "Very Good / Valid" category, then the results of Media experts show a percentage of 90.78% and fall into the category of "Very Good / Valid". The results of the average value of the pre-test and post-test were 46.75 and 80.11. The results of the t-test show that the significance value <0.05 is equal to 0.00 from the results. It can be concluded that there is a differentiation between the value of pre-test and post-test and the flash-based learning media that have been developed effectively used in the learning process. This is indicated by the results of the pre-test and post-test scores that have increased and the significance values ​​produced.
