Abstract

In 2016, the first cause of death in the world was heart disease. It happened because heart disease was often detected late. Internet of Health Things (IoHT) is one of the technological developments of the IoT that can be used as a solution to the problem of electrocardiogram monitoring (ECG). The system consists of AD8232 ECG sensor that connected to an ESP32 sensor that has a BLE module to send the data that was obtained from sensor ECG to mobile middleware. BLE is one of the data transmission media that has advantages in the use of low power, low radiation that make the BLE is suitable to be used in human body. BLE is one of Low-Power Wide-Area-Network (LP-WAN) protocol that makes BLE suitable to be used in IoT environment. This research resulted in a measurement of the performance of the ESP32 BLE sensor node that is capable of processing and sending ECG data to mobile middleware with a delay of 4.02 seconds. So, the results didn't fulfill the requirements in ECG data transmission which is 4 seconds maximum for monitoring uses delay.

Abstract

The most vehicles used by college students is motorcycle. College students parking their motorcycle in the parking area provided by the campus. The parking area mostly does not have a helmet storage facility and parking attendants are not at all times can supervise so most college students put a helmet on the motorcyle. Based on data obtained from a research questionnaire made about about college students behavior when parking a motorcycle in a parking area conducted on 30 students at the Faculty of Computer Science Brawijaya get the conclusion that college students do not pay attention to their helmets security which resulted in 12 of 30 college students having experienced a helmet loss. Therefore in this research the made design of devices to prevent helmet theft by using magnetic reed switch sensors as lock helmet and connectivity between the master and slave Bluetooth HC-05 as a marker of the distance between the helmet and the motorcylce. MQTT communication protocol is used to send data from the system device to the Adafruit IO broker then the data is sent to the user's android application.Sending data from the system device to the Adafruit IO broker has a percentage of success that is 100% and an average delivery time of 2.1 seconds and sending time from Adafruit IO to the user application has an average delivery time of 1 second. The resulting output is a warning alarm when the helmet lock is open and when the distance between the helmet and the motorcycle is not at a safe distance. Abstract

Panorama Cibodas Residence is the author's residence located at Jalan Prabu Kian Santang, Kelurahan Sangiang Jaya, Kecamatan Periuk, Kota Tangerang. Based on direct observations by the author, Panorama Cibodas Residence has 3 security officers who carry out shift tasks in 3 shift, so that in 1 shift there is only 1 security officer on guard. The only 1 person security certainly will not be able to carry out whole residential area. If a crime occurs far from a security post, then it can't be dealt directly by security officers. So to maintain security at Panorama Cibodas Residence environment need help from the residents. In this research, the authors developed SKIP (Sistem Keamanan di Perumahan) application to report threats of crime in the Panorama Cibodas environment by developing Prototyping method to help residents maintain security in the Panorama Cibodas Residence. The prototype development method was chosen because the author's previously proposed the functional requirements of the application in the form of a prototype and then were shown to residents to get feedback until they got the final functional needs. Tests conducted on the SKIP (Sistem Keamanan di Perumahan) application is validation testing (blackbox), usability testing and compatibility testing. In validation testing results is 100% success rate. In usability testing results is 100% success rate for task execution by the respondent and has a final score on the System Usability Scale (SUS) 80 which falls into the grade B and adjectiva rating “good” category. In compatibility testing, SKIP application can run well on manual testing device and in automatically testing with Firebase Test Lab on the Android operating system version of minimum KitKat 4.4 with level API 19 and maximum Pie 9.0 with level API 28.

Abstract

Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) of Brawijaya University currently has an E-Learning website that still has many shortcomings proven by small number of FILKOM students who use the website and complaints given to pre-research questionnaire distributed online to FILKOM students. This shows the website design doesn't meet the needs and student goals. The Goal-Directed Design (GDD) method can provide solution to create website design that suits the user's needs and goals. In its application, GDD method has six phases. The first phase is research to get the needs and conditions desired by stakeholders and users. The second phase is modeling that create user persona and user journey. The third phase is requirements that will create a context scenario and functional needs. The fourth phase is the framework that create wireframe. The last phase is refinement to create high-fidelity prototype that ready to be tested and evaluated using SUS questionnaire. Final SUS evaluation gave an average score of 74 and entered the Grade C criteria, acceptable category in acceptability ranges, and good category in the adjective rating and also received a B- in the Sauro & Lewis Grading Scale. So that website improvements can be accepted and assessed well by users

Abstract

Mobile Ad-hoc Network (MANET) is a network consisting of a collection of mobile nodes that function as routers for data transmission. The node communicates without relying on a fixed network infrastructure. One of the routing protocols on the network is DREAM which has characteristics in finding paths using the routing table. Mobile nodes are free to join and leave the networks at any times, thus leaving MANET vulnerable to attack. One of them is a wormhole attack that creates a link between two or more of nodes that affects routing performance. The study will be conducted using NS-2.35 to see the performance of the DREAM protocol in the presence of a wormhole attack based on the scenario of the number of nodes and variation of the wormhole node with a random waypoint mobility and random direction model. Parameters for testing include packet delivery ratio (PDR), end-to-end delay, routing overhead, and convergence time. The results show that increasing the number of node variations can affect evaluation metrics, while increasing the number of wormhole nodes is more stable. Testing with 3 pairs of wormhole nodes get the lowest packet delivery ratio of 11.975 % on 10 nodes with random direction mobility. The highest end-to-end delay result is 446,544 ms at 50 nodes with random direction mobility. The highest routing overhead result is 33.216% at 50 nodes with random waypoint mobility, and the highest convergence time result is 183,459 s at 50 nodes with random waypoint mobility.

Abstract

Evaluation of maturity level is needed in the management of information technology assets owned by Perusahaan XYZ to make the management of information technology assets better. Thus, the performance of Perusahaan XYZ as a bank corporation can be improved. This research uses the COBIT 5 framework. The purpose of this research is to identify the extent to which Perusahaan XYZ has managed its assets and optimizes the cost of IT assets. Data retrieval in this study is by questionnaire, observation and interviews used to support observational data. COBIT 5 is used as a reference for evaluating the process of managing information technology assets. The results of Perusahaan XYZ maturity level assessment through the BAI09 (Manage Assets) process domain found that the maturity level is at level 1 with a L or Largely achieved rating with a percentage of 72.1% where the implemented process has succeeded in achieving its process objectives. Which means the maturity level of information technology asset management in Perusahaan XYZ is at level 1 (Performed process). There is a gap between targeted level and the current level which consist of 1 point. Recommendations for improvement are given so that the process can reach the targeted maturity level which is level 2 (Managed Process).

Abstract

In IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6), fragmentation is only allowed on the end host side. As a result, IPv6 packets can experience potential failures in delivery. The potential failure is caused by two things. First, the packet size exceeds the MTU (Maximum Transmission Unit) value. Second, the router is configured by the network administrator to filter ICMPv6 Packet Too Big packets. Existing solutions are PMTUD (Path Maximum Transmission Unit Discovery), PLPMTUD (Packetization Layer Path Maximum Transmission Unit Discovery), and MSS (Maximum Segment Size) Clamping. However, these three solutions cannot be used in UDP (User Datagram Protocol) based communication and not all operating systems activate these features. Therefore, this research presents a solution by implementing socket programming through the case of audio streaming. With socket programming, research results show communication can take place well. This has been tested through several scenarios. In the first scenario, the results of the experiment without ICMPv6 Packet Too Big filtration and uniform MTU values are smooth communication with a small average packet loss below one percent. In the second scenario, the test results accompanied by ICMPv6 Packet Too Big filtration and MTU values are not uniformed are the same as in scenario one. The difference is that there is a pause as a result of the congestion control mechanism by the DCCP (Datagram Congestion Control Protocol) streaming protocol and limitation on socket buffer.

Abstract

Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Mujtahidin is one of a senior education institutions lie under the supervision of Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia. Since 2016 Madrasah Aliyah Nurul Mujtahidin has been applying Kurikulum 2013 as the basic curricula in its learning processes. The application of Kurikulum 2013 influences all learning activities, one of which is the scoring management. Homeroom teachers use Microsoft Excel to collect scores from subject teachers. Documents containing scores ​​which are transferred from one person to another frequently result in error-prone data. In addition, a heaps of separate documents containing different subject scores also results in difficulties in recapitulating students' final scores. A web-based Kurikulum 2013 scoring management system was developed to overcome these problems. The development of this system was done by applying waterfall software development model and used object oriented approach. This system has been tested by using unit, integration, and validation testing. White-box testing was used in unit and integration testing whereas validation testing was done by using black-box testing. Unit and integration testing give forth valid results for 3 unit samples and 3 integration samples. The result of validation testing shows that system is 100% valid for 52 functional requirements.

Abstract

Land use is a way to use land in carrying out certain objectives. Examples of land use types are forests, rice fields, housing, roads and rivers. However, the many transfers of land use functions, such as illegal logging of land used for housing development, require the use of land use planning. Given this issue, encouraging the writing of this research to assist land use planning by classification of land use types. The author uses two image features namely color features of 8 different color spaces (CMYK, HSV, HVC, Lab, RGB, YCbCr, YIQ, and YUV) and texture features using the Support Vector Machine classification method. The data used are 25 training data and 200 test data where the amount of data for each class is the same. The tests conducted are testing the color features with the highest accuracy, testing the texture features that affect accuracy, and the combination of color and texture features with the highest accuracy. The first test result is the color feature in the HSV color space has the highest accuracy of 98%. The second test result is the accuracy of texture features affected by image size, membership distance, and angle in the GLCM calculation. The image size of 900x900 with a membership distance of 1% and a combination of 4 corner features (0o, 45o, 90o, 135o) produces the highest accuracy of 96.5%. The third test result is a combination of color features in the CMYK, HSV, HVC, Lab, YCbCr, YIQ, and YUV spaces with the texture features of the second test results yielding the highest accuracy of 99.5%.

Abstract

Agriculture is a very important sector to be considered and developed by all person. The Government through the Minister of Agriculture Regulation No. 79 of 2013 concerning Guidelines for Land Conformity in Food Crop Commodities is one form of effort to develop the agricultural sector. In this regulation, the suitability of land of each plant in terms of various physical properties of the environment, one of which is rainfall. This research aims to help realize sustainable food agriculture by developing a geographical rainfall information system utilizing the AccuWheater API. The AccuWheater API is a service that provides information about the weather that can be accessed using Application Programming Interface technology. The system development process is done by Agile Method which is implemented on the website platform. This system has been tested using validation testing, usability testing, compatibility testing, and responsive testing. The results of validation testing with the black-box testing method obtained 100% valid results for 4 functional needs. Then the results of usability testing obtained an average value of 78.5 which means that the system created has a high level of acceptance and is included in grade C. Then for compatibility testing results show that the system can run well in all browsers tested. Finally, for responsive testing, the results show that the system can adjust the display according to the size and orientation of the screen.
