Abstract

Accreditation data management requires a long time to prepare the assessment process. Since 2008, the BAN-PT forms consist of 7 standards. Substitution of accreditation results must be updated every six months before the deadline. Study programs that will carry out accreditation must prepare data early in accordance with applicable requirements. The table form is quite a lot making the drafting team experienced difficulties when preparing supporting documents. Information based system applications will be developed to provide facilities and assist the process of assessing the accreditation level of a study program in order to obtain eligibility from the study program. Therefore, it will be solved by developed an accreditation information system website. The information system will be highly used so that accreditation data becomes more structured and handles the data collection process. This research will be developed with a web platform. The approach taken uses object oriented design of MVC (Model-View-Controller) using the waterfall method. Functional requirements testing will use white box testing and black box testing, while non-functional requirements testing uses compatibility testing using SortSite. White box test results produce three valid unit tests, and black box testing results in 100% success in validation testing. Non-functional testing also resulted in a system developed that was able to run on various browsers such as Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Opera.

Abstract

In public schools, deaf people have communication problems when teaching in class. Teaching in class depends on using verbal communication between students and students. This means that students and other students have communication problems with deaf people. Based on these problems, we need tools that can help students, especially the deaf in the classroom. The system in question has the main feature of converting sound into sign language in real-time while learning takes place. The system was built using Web Real-time Communication (WebRTC) is a protocol for sending data in real-time. WebRTC's Application Programming Interface (API) is free and is supported by all web browsers. In this research, network system performance testing is performed to determine the quality of the system and the use of computer resources on the side of the user. Testing is divided into two test environments namely local networks and different networks. In each testing environment, four stages of testing are conducted based on the number of users, namely 5 students, 10 students, 20 students, and 40 students. The test results show that there is an increase in jitter, delay, packet loss, memory, and processor for each additional student.

Abstract

Each individual learning method has a different concept, related to this learning media also has an important role with the learning process. Quality education can only be realized if supported by quality learning, so that all factors will be supporting in the aspect of education, in this case can be exemplified as Augmented Reality (AR) technology which is one of the merging technologies between the concepts of 2D objects or 3D objects to be applied in environments that model virtual objects in a real state of time. According to research on game education produces that one of the learning media or modeling learning concepts in one of the techniques is to use Education Game. Associated with the study stated that learning conducted by class X students has learning constraints when memorizing Biology material. The memorization of the Biology class X class is stated in internal factors during the process of teaching and learning activities. Several other internal factors are related to students' interest in conducting the learning process, so an external factor is needed as a support for learning in the form of Student learning tools. This learning tool can be implemented in the Education Game using Iterative Rapid Prototyping, which is a method that supports the design of an iteration system, so that the needs implemented in the system will be in accordance with the definition of needs to meet the wishes of the players. This research experienced three iterations in the design phase and two iterations in the implementation phase. The testing phase in this study uses SUS (System Usability Scale) to test interface interactions in the game. Based on a value of 73,25 that has been obtained, it was concluded that the virus classification education game application is easy to use by users.

Abstract

GOBIS Suroboyo Bus is an application developed by Dinas Perhubungan Surabaya to monitor Bus movements in real time and to know the distance between stops. Based on the findings on the Playstore there are user complaints that affect the usefulness of such applications, the GOBIS application does not provide the clock information or the arrival time of the bus, not according to the position of the bus on the application by the field, To get stop information and travel routes users need to zoom-in so it takes a while. Therefore, the usability test is done to get a deepening problem regarding usability and measuring the user's ease of access to an application. To test the usability of GOBIS application is done 2 times to five aspects, namely learnability, efficiency, memorability, error, and satisfaction using questionnaires. Achieved usability test results on the learnability aspect of 1.28 from the first and second Test comparisons. Efficiency aspect of 63.77%. The memorability aspect is experiencing improvements in the capabilities of the number of clicks and step counts. For satisfaction aspect obtained 65.25% from SUS questionnaire results.

Abstract

Information system has important requirement in the business. The technology makes the importance of accurate and fast information needs to support the activities and operational activities of a company. With the tour and travel reservation information system, customers can make online travel booking transactions. System is designed using the Objected Oriented method. In this method need analysis by interview with the owner of the Warok Tour and Travel company to determine the functional and non-functional requirement. In design, UML are used is Use Case Diagrams, Activity Diagrams, Class Diagrams, Sequence Diagrams, and Physical Data Models. Then the user interface design is made to provide an overview of the system. The design testing process is carried out using the traceability method and review interface to 2 user. In requirement analysis process resulted the identification of users is 2 users, 10 functional requirements and 4 non-functional requirements. In the component design it produces a use case diagram with 8 use cases. In the design process produces 8 activity diagrams, 13 sequence diagrams, class diagrams, physical data models, 8 interface design sketches, and 15 prototype designs. Design testing is carried out using traceability methods and user prototype reviews, all of them are valid.

Abstract

Online shopping activities in Indonesia are now increasing rapidly. Therefore, businesses need to provide a site that allows their customers to shop online. The purpose of this study is to design an information system that can handle the online sales in Balinesia T-Shirt, which has not run optimally. The design approach used in this study is Human Centered Design (HCD), to produce a designs solutions that can meet the needs, easy to use, and provide a good experience for the users. The resulting design solution is a software-based high-fidelity prototype. The design solution is then evaluated using the usability testing technique. After the first evaluation, the design solution was improved and two alternatives were made. The second evaluation shows that the two alternatives are relatively easy to use, but there are still some improvements that need to be made to the user interface. From the user satisfaction it was found that all participants were satisfied with the design.

Abstract

Regional Personnel Agency (BKD) of Lumajang Regency as a government agency that an important role in the management of district civil servants, has several information technologies that support the services owned. As an organization that follows the development of information technology, it takes a management of information technology services to overcome the challenges of emerging threats and new risks that are likely to occur due to an IT incident (Daft & Marcic, 2006). Managers should be able to cope with IT incidents effectively and efficiently so as not to cause harm to the organization as IT decreases reputation. Given the importance of a management service and the role of managers as parties planning, organizing, leading, and controlling the resources of the Organization, the authors initiative to evaluate the implementation of the Service management in the institution of BKD Lumajang District uses the COBIT 5 framework on the DSS02 process (Request Management and service incident) because COBIT 5 is created by ISACA which is an organization that provides knowledge, certification, community and education on organizational Governance and IT management with regard to risk and IT compliance. The capability level result of the evaluation is at level 0 with a percentage of 41.5%. While the target capability level, which is Level 1 so there is a gap 1 level. The recommendation of improvement provided consists of 23 recommendations mapped to the roadmap with a span of 5 years.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the quality level of usability based on the stakeholders demands of the company's by considering the usability criteria in the aspects of effectiveness, efficiency, and satisfaction. The object of this research is the information system of the krakatau hospital system owned by PT Krakatau Information Technology which is carried out on 2 different types of platforms, website platform and android platform. The evaluation method use pattern based usability testing which in the process contains the formation of usability patterns and testing scenarios, then use the usability criteria question of satisfaction aspects of the USE questionnaire. Data collection is done by the testing using work assignments to test respondents. The sample of this study was 10 test respondents with 2 different classifications, test respondents who had never used a similar system (respondent classification 0) and test respondents who had used a similar system (respondent classification 1), which were selected using the purposive sampling method. The results of this study get the formation of 4 work tasks on each platform based on the process of forming usability patterns and testing scenarios. The test results get measurements of the level of usability quality on 3 aspects of usability, finding 12 problems on the website platform, and 17 problems on the android platform. Formed 10 recommendations for improving the website platform problems and 10 recommendations for improving the android platform problems.

Abstract

Specialization at SMAN 6 Malang still uses manual system that can cause problems for length of time in the specialization process and the possibility of inputting data errors. The system in this study was developed to assist the specialization process at SMAN 6 Malang starting from the collection of specialization questionnaires to producing recommendations for student interest. Specialization recommendations are generated using the AHP method as the priority determinant of the criteria for each interest and the SAW method for calculating and ranking the value of student interest preferences. The system developed by RUP method where in the inception phase produces a to-be business process from as-is. The elaboration phase produces 29 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements, as well as the design of use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, class diagrams, physical data models, and system interfaces. Then in the design construction phase is implemented into the programming language, then the system is tested using black box testing which produces valid values for a total of 35 test cases, and compability testing which indicates that the system can run well in most browsers. And the last phase is transition used for deployment. This research produces a website-based system that can assist process of recommendation student interest.

Abstract

Cooking is a way to process food ingredients and seasonings to be a variety of dishes. While cooking, we need recipes as a guide to processs food ingredients into a dish. Cooking some food is a solution to solve the problem of saving money for college students. However, in reality there are many college students who have difficulty in determining what kind of food they can make based on food ingredients they already have. Based on this case, author developed an application of cooking recipes with recommendation of web-based food ingredients. To get recipe recommendations, author needs cosine similarity method to compare food ingredients that have been owned with recommended recipes. The process of system development uses the waterfall method. The developed system gets 31 functional requirements and 1 non-functional requirement. Functional requirements were tested by validation testing and unit testing with 100% valid results. Non-funtional requirement was tested by compatibility testing with the results of 2 critical issues on firefox and chrome browsers. The recipe recommendation was tested by precision and recall testing with the average precision value 0.65 and the average recall value 0.19. The development of cooking recipes application with recommendation of web-based food ingredients, is expected to help college students to process food ingredients into a dish.
