Abstract

Communication is very important for people like Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) patients who are not able to speak and write, but not with eye movements. At present, there are already several techniques that can read eye movements using the method based on video that has a high price that using signal calculations with input of images called image processing. This signal requires a camera that supports images with a high degree of accuracy and consideration factors that cause noises. One of these factors is lighting so that this method will require a very large cost. Therefore, an alternative is needed that can make eye movements using bio-signals in the body that issupported by movements using Electrooculography (EOG) that supports the direction of eye movements. This research discusses the signal normalization use Differentiation Method. The system can classify of eye movement 8 directions sen ton 8 LEDs. Based on the results of accuracy for eye movement direction is about 100% and based on the results of average accuracy the whole system by taking 5 samples of people is about 79.25%.

Abstract

Internal audits of PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk are still carried out conventionally, causing problems such as paper waste, inefficient time in completing a process, and delays in sending audit reports and RTP reports. Therefore, the research is carried out to analyze and design an Internal Audit Information System that is able to facilitate internal audit. The method used in this research is the Waterfall model. In the first stage, requirements analysis is carried out through interviews and documentation studies with the Bureau of Quality, Safety, Health, Environment & Management Systems (QSHE & SM), then in the next stage a design is carried out with an object-oriented approach. After the analysis and design is complete, the results of the analysis and design are evaluated. The results of this research include business processes modeling, requirements identification, use cases modeling, design of information systems, and evaluation with traceability matrix and System Usability Scale. This research concludes that all features of the system meet the user requirements, all functional requirements of the system come from features on the system, use cases have been defined in accordance with the features of the system, and use cases can be traced to activity diagrams and sequence diagrams. The design of the Internal Audit Information System interface is also considered to have good usability and is acceptable.

Abstract

The F building at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya hold 12 floors and has separate rooms which arranged in several dividers between rooms where each floor in the building has different functions and jobs, in a words, a coordination for logistical assistance or file delivery is indispensable. Current document delivery activities generally depend on the workforce of employees, and are quite time consuming and cause a lack of concentration on employees doing their own work. Therefore in this study the researcher will focus on discussing the design of a wheeled robot for logistics delivery in the building. The system were designed in a simulation used ROS-Gazebo to run the robot and the method used to run the robot were using a Particle Filter. The robot's particle filter works by localized its position by spreading a number of particles around it so that the particles can represent the robot's position. Particle Filter test can be done by determining a certain number of particles, testing the accuracy of its position and computation time for 5 times. In later testing, it was found that the number of particles that had high accuracy was at 50 particles with an average computation time of 292.08 ms for each number of particles tested. The results show that the time and the number of particles are optimum in the F9.3 building environment located at the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya.

Abstract

The development of the IoT (Internet of Things) technology era, the heart rate detection system can be integrated with the internet network, which can be accessed by the web or certain applications, so that heart rate monitoring is carried out more easily and efficiently. Hardware integration which includes Pulse Sensor, Wireless Transmission Module (ESP 8266 Module), Raspberry 3B and Arduino. 0.6% performance for sensor error rate and data transmission capability with packet loss <1% for ESP modules. The MQTT protocol is often used mainly because of low power consumption, low bandwidth, high scalability and very low overhead. This system will send data related to the heart rate that has been obtained to the server to be processed. After that, the data will be sent to the user's application in real-time. In connection with that, from the aspect of networking in the application of IoT on the system using QoS as a measurement method In this study using a pulse sensor that is placed on the wrist or fingertip to obtain heart rate data in bpm units, then the data is sent using MQTT to the Raspberry PI broker used, and users can access the website to view real heart rate data real-time. QoS Test Results for Delay parameters in heart rate data transmission using the MQTT protocol are classified as very good, resulting in QoS delay level 0 of 1.44 ms, QoS level 1 of 2.06 ms and QoS 2 of 2.35 ms. QoS for the Throughput parameter in heart rate data transmission uses the MQTT protocol for each data transmission with an average QoS level 0 of 930 kbps, QoS level 1 of 757 kbps and QoS 2 of 504 kbps. QoS for Packet Loss parameters in heart rate data transmission using the MQTT protocol is very good, resulting in packet loss of less than 1% with all QOS levels tested not finding packet loss.

Abstract

The development of information and communication technology in the current era of globalization has a big influence on the world of research. Where research is an activity carried out by researchers of the object of discussion using methods that are appropriate to the scientific field, which obtains results with specific goals and intentions. It is proven by the number of universities in Indonesia competing to publish their research results, one of which is the Faculty of Computer Science which manages several scientific journal publication portals, namely the Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science (JTIIK) and the Journal of Information Technology and Computer Science Development (JPTIIK) . This portal serves as a place to publish research results from students or lecturers. In conducting research, researchers sometimes exchange information, debate or collaborate with other researchers. Although there are many platforms that provide a place to exchange information and knowledge in conducting research, the Faculty of Computer Science is deemed necessary to have a place to collaborate with fellow researchers which is certainly supported by the existing portal system for publishing scientific journals. In this study the authors designed a collaborative application research system that aims to establish communication between teachers, students or researchers at the Faculty of Computer Science. The author uses the Rapid Application Development (RAD) method which is implemented with the Codeigniter framework in the system development process. Then the white box and black box methods are tested to ensure the system runs properly as needed. Browser Compatibility Test which aims to ensure the system can run on multiple web browsers.

Abstract

On Twitter, there was one topic that being discussed, it was about the new 2020 curriculum, elimination of The National Examination, a policy from Minister of Education and Culture of Indonesia, Mr. Nadiem Makariem. Public opinions on Twitter are matters as references for evaluating that policy on improving services from Ministry of Education and Culture of Indonesia (KEMENDIKBUD). That was why this research was conducted by analyzing the sentiment of Twitter users' opinions through tweets that they have sent about that policy and classifying it into two classes, there were positive and negative classes. The analysis sentiment consisted pre-processing, Document Frequency Difference (DFD) features selection, and Multinomial Naive Bayes classifier. The test consisted the amount of training data and testing data, it showed the best average accuracy using 600 training data and 200 testing data, was 72%. Then, the DFD testing showed the best result at threshold equal to 0.5, was 73.13%.
