Abstract

Website for an educational institution is a must-have because the website is one of the information media that can be used to introduce the school to the public, this is done by SMA Negeri 01 Singosari. On the other hand there are things that need to be considered by the existence of the website, namely the usability or usability of the website. From the data obtained, there are still some complaints on the website of SMA Negeri 01 Singosari, among others, the lack of features such as sarpras, student attendance, student achievement and other factors such as the lack of responsiveness of the website so as to make users feel uncomfortable when using the website. Departing from the problem, evaluation and improvement of sma negeri 01 Singosari website using Human Centered Design (HCD) method was carried out. From the results of evaluation and improvement of the website using usability testing and SUS questionnaire, obtained the results of comparison of old websites and websites in terms of usability with details of effectiveness matrix increased on average up to 96%, efficiency matrix decreased from 1.944 seconds to 1.460 seconds, satisfaction matrix with awful category initial rating to good rating which means improvement of SMA Negeri 01 Singosari website can be said to be successful.

Abstract

Tutur Mandiri Women's Cooperative has a savings and loan service unit that deals with all savings and loan matters carried out by Tutur Mandiri Women's Cooperative members. Until now, Tutur Mandiri Women's Cooperative has only carried out manual records related to data on cooperative members, including data on savings and loans. This can lead to errors or data loss. Tutur Mandiri Women's Cooperative has also been going to implement a system but the information system has not been implemented. The reason is that administrators and supervisors find it difficult for doctors, too complex and not following the needs and desires of the cooperative. So the cooperative management needs a prototype that is used for recording data on savings and loans. To be able to produce a prototype, it is necessary to carry out the process of designing an information system interface. Based on these problems, research was carried out on the design of an information system interface prototype using the Human-Centered Design (HCD) method which later can provide an introduction, explanation, and initial description of how the management of a cooperative organization of savings and loan data. This research was conducted by conducting literacy studies, planning the Human-Centered Design (HCD) process, determining the context of use, specifying the needs and requirements of users and organizations, designing solutions and prototypes, evaluating solutions and prototypes, and improving the design of solutions and prototypes.

Abstract

MANET has 2 main types of routing protocols, namely reactive routing protocol and proactive routing protocol. One example of a reactive protocol is DSR (Dynamic Source Routing) and the proactive protocol is FSR (Fisheye State Routing). Mechanisms differ in communication, so the performance of the two routing protocols is different. The node route is so dynamic at any point in time, it can change and become one of the factors in the performance of the MANET routing protocol. In this study using DSR and FSR protocols because each type of routing protocol has a different algorithm significant impact on the performance of routing protocols in topology. MANET uses Network Simulator 2.35 with parameters End to End Delay, Routing Overhead, Packet Delivery Ratio and Thoughtput. The test scenario was carried out with variations in the number of nodes of 10, 25, 50, 75 and 100 nodes, and with variations in package sizes of 512, 1024 and 2048 bytes, and with speed variations of 5 m/s, 10 m/s and 15 m/s. The result is an average end-to-end delay based on the number of nodes, package size and node speed lower than the FSR protocol with an average value of 3.74 s, 5.32 s and 25.32 s. While with the average value of DSR protocol is 2.06 s, 3.08 s, and 72.27 s. For overhead routing tested based on number of nodes, package size and node speed are lower with an average value of 854.85 packets, 519.06 packages and 836.76 FSR protocol packages, while with an average value the DSR protocol is 61.02 packages, 36.15 packages and 153.6468 packages. Packet delivery ratio tested based on number of nodes, data package size and node speed are higher than FSR protocol with average values of 48%, 39% and 41%. While with the average value of DSR protocol is 94%, 95% and 92%. For throughput testing based on the number of nodes, package size and node speed is higher than the FSR protocol with an average value of 0.13 kbps, 0.20 kbps and 0.098 kbps while with an average value the DSR protocol is 0.23 kbps, 0.44 kbps and 0.87 kbps.

Abstract

Nowadays everyone uses internet that cause higher traffic on internet network. High traffic causes server overload and service not available. This problem can be solved by implementing multiple web servers with a load balancing mechanism. Load balancing is mechanism how traffic will distributed by using certain methods to optimize network. Load balancing in Software Defined Networking (SDN) handles big traffic load and complexity issues so it improves server performance. Performance of server is affected by resource usage from each server. Resource usage includes CPU, Disk and Memory usage. Information of resource usage is obtain from psutill agent. This research applies load balancing using K-Nearest Neighbor (K-NN) algorithm on POX controller to decide which server will handle incoming traffic. Traffic will distribute to server which has smallest value from CPU, Disk and Memory usage. Performance testing uses two scenarios, first is different rate number (req/s) and second is different load in server. Result from this research showed if K-NN algorithm can distribute traffic to server which has smallest status. In throughput test showed if increasing of rate (req/s) also make increasing of throughput. The highest value of throughput get in 500 req/s with value is 207.3 KB/s. Response time test showed if increasing of rate and load in web server also make increasing of response time. It happens because server receive and handle much request from client. Best response time get in this research is 3.9 ms.

Abstract

The Department of Tourism and Culture (DISPARBUD) of Trenggalek Regency is a government agency authorized in terms of tourism. There are various fields that exist in the Trenggalek Regency DISPARBUD, one of which is the marketing field which is responsible for marketing or tourism promotion. DISPARBUD wants to add to its tourism marketing method that does not currently exist with the desire to create a mobile application that can provide information to tourists about tourism objects in Trenggalek Regency. With these problems, DISPARBUD offered to develop an E-Tourism information system. System development in the form of a web application for admins that can be used to view, add, change, and delete tourism object data, as well as a mobile application in the form of Android which will be used by users to access tourism information. The development of the E-Tourism information system was developed using the waterfall method. This system utilizes an API so that the web admin application and the user's mobile application can be connected to each other. Then testing is carried out starting from API testing which results in the API being able to run and being accessed by the user's mobile application, black box testing with validation testing which shows that all functional requirements of the system have been met, compatibility testing shows that web admin applications can be run on different browsers and mobile applications can be run. on different android versions, as well as usability testing with the SUS (System Usability Scale) test which shows this system has received acceptable criteria in the acceptable range and got a B grade scale.

Abstract

Website of the Islamic University of Malang (UNISMA) is the official website of UNISMA, which created as a center of information regarding campus profiles, lecture activities, and campus announcements. Based on the results of interviews with UNISMA and its students, there are several problems that have been experienced. This research conducted using Heuristic Evaluation method. Heuristic Evaluation is a method used to find usability problems in an interface. The evaluation in this study carried out in two stages. The first stage evaluation Is before the improvement and the second stage evaluation is after the improvement. The results of the first stage evaluation found 29 problems from each evaluator. Then a mapping was carried out which resulted in 24 problems, of which 5 problems were found by more than one evaluator and 19 problems were found by one evaluator. Furthermore, second stage performed for the improvement prototype involving the same evaluator as the first stage evaluation. The results of the second stage evaluation found 10 problems from each evaluator. Then the mapping was carried out which resulted in 7 problems, 3 problems were found by more than one evaluator and 4 problems were found by one evaluator

Abstract

Noor Electric is a store in Malang that sells electrical equipment. Since the store was founded, the store has recorded transactions manually and manually recorded monthly reports using excel. Transaction data information in stores is also scattered in several places so that store owners find it difficult to collect transaction data. With these problems, a store management information system was created. The information system is built on two platforms, a web-based system and Telegram bots that make it easy for store owners to manage stores via the web or Telegram bots. Development of the system was conducted using the waterfall model and the MVC (Model View Controller). The system is built using the PHP language using Laravel as a web framework and BotMan as a Telegram bot framework with MySQL as the database used. The web-based system is accessed locally and the Telegram bot is accessed via the Telegram application using Ngrok to expose local data to the internet. The results of the requirements engineering analysis resulted in 19 functional requirements and one non-functional requirement. Functional testing is carried out by validation test using 19 test procedures with the results of all test procedures producing valid data. Another test is to use User Acceptance Testing by giving 16 statements with the results obtained in the agree/good category according to the Likert scale with a value of 78.75%. With this test, the information system is ready to be used by Noor Electric shop owners

Abstract

The development of information technology, which is supported by the presence of the Internet, has had a positive impact on education and made the online and offline learning process easier. However, there are problems with students of SMKN 5 Malang in carrying out the learning that is given by lectures by teachers of the department of computer technology and information at SMKN 5. In this study, teachers should be encouraged to use learning media from Edmodo and Google Classroom with a population of 10 people. All students in class X, Faculty of Computer Technology and The information totaled 67, namely X TKI-3 and X TKI-5 media Edmodo and Google shows and questionnaire in the form of questions interaction of teachers and students during treatment. In this study, data acquisition techniques in the form of interviews with teachers from subjects at SMKN 5 Malang are used. This study compares media Edmodo and Google actions with model learning problem-based learning. This type of quasi-experimental study using the non-equivalent control group design was used in this study. Based on hypothesis tests, the researchers receive the results that there is a difference between Edmodo and Google Classroom with the learning model of learning problem-based learning, namely that the learning outcomes of TKI-5 students in class X who use Edmodo are higher than that of men -Whitney test test package.

Abstract

CV. Mufidah Terminal Print is a company in Gorontalo engaged in digital printing. Payroll system applied by CV. Mufidah Terminal Print is currently still being done conventionally, so data input errors caused by human errors often occur which lead to calculation of employee salaries, besides the payroll process is considered to take a long time, starting from the process of recording attendance, overtime, leave and permits until double checking the salary calculation results. Based on the existing problems, researchers aim to build an employee payroll system that is integrated directly with the fingerprint machine, as well as assisting in the management of overtime, leave and employee permits so as to facilitate the process of calculating employee salaries. In this study the system was built with the SDLC Prototyping model with the Evolutionary Prototyping approach. Implementation of the system is done with the Codeigniter framework and uses MySQL as a database implementation. The test results on the system both in the first and second iteration show a value of 100% valid on unit testing, integration and validation. In addition, compatibility testing shows the system can run well on various browsers and devices without any critical issues, major and minor issues.
