Abstract

People are interested in buying and selling using e-commerce. In the place of buying and selling many products, one of which is beauty products. Many beauty products offer various advantages, with many products not being separated from reviews that assess a particular product regarding quality, advantages, disadvantages, and others. A review from a customer who has used the product can be used as a recommendation to choose the best product and as a determinant of product quality. Determination of product quality can be seen from various comments or reviews from customers to see whether the product is a best seller product or a less desirable product. Therefore, beauty product review data classification is carried out by labelling positive, negative, and neutral reviews. In this test using the Naive Bayes method with TF and TF Log weighting, TF weighting has a better accuracy value than TF Log weighting. TF weighting has an accuracy of 55% while TF Log weighting only has an accuracy of 52%. Meanwhile, to label the review using a kappa measure, in this test the kappa measure on each rater has the same value, namely 0.8.

Abstract

Bus is one type of land transportation in Indonesia that can be enjoyed by all people. One of these types of buses has received great attention in the world's transportation mode around the world, namely BRT. In real conditions, Transjakarta uses GPS and sends it to the control center continuously. Therefore, the author implements the concept of moving block in the scope of the BRT transportation mode so that the bus can exchange information about the location of the bus at that time and send it to the control center then the center will give further orders what to do by the bus driver. The result of this research is that the concept of moving block signaling can be implemented on a small scale using a communication protocol with a delay of 0.12 - 0.18 seconds for sending and receiving information data from each system connected to the 802.11 network and the same access point. The results of this value can be a benchmark for developing this research in the future.

Abstract

Penguatan Pendidikan Karakter (PPK) is a national education policy that aims to strengthen the character of students. Through the PPK program, it is hoped that educational units can improve the quality of education, especially in the aspect of building strong character. SMPI Sabilurrosyad is an Islamic junior high school located in the city of Malang, East Java, and is included in the education unit that implements PPK in all school activities. In the past year, SMPI Sabilurrosyad has implemented PPK in the implementation of activities in schools, but the documentation of activities and supporting files is still scattered and not centralized, making it difficult for school to assess the success of the PPK program that has been implemented. With these problems, the researcher designed a web-based application user interface to support the documentation collection process and the PPK program assessment process in schools. The method used is Human Centered Design (HCD) which involves the user at every stage so that the resulting user interface design can meet user needs. This study resulted in two user interface designs in the form of a wireframe and a high-fidelity prototype. The prototypes were evaluated using the Usability Testing technique and the Single Ease Question method to four respondents. The test results obtained indicate that the given task can be done easily by the respondent, but the interface design still needs improvement based on the respondents' suggestions.

Abstract

BPR Bina Reksa Karyaartha is a company engaged in several financial services, such as credit services. In the credit service there are business functions, i.e providing credit to customers, serving credit payments, and credit reporting. Problems that can interfere the performance of ongoing business processes in this case are errors in filling the application form, Account Officers have difficulty contacting customers to determine the credit agreement schedule, and errors entering customer data, credit data and collateral data on the PGBS application. In addition, customers are late paying, collectors find it difficult to do billing with customers, and errors in making SLIK reports. The stage of this research is to identify business processes by conducting interviews and observations, then modeling business processes using Business Process Models and Notation (BPMN) with the Bizagi Modeler application, conducting analysis and evaluation using the Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to find out the highest potential problem. Furthermore, improvements to business process recommendations are made using the Business Process Improvement (BPI) method with the help of streamlining tools and simulation of current business processes (as is) and recommendations (to be) on all business processes. An increase in time analysis reached 9.24%. If a business process recommendation is implemented, it will minimize some problems mentioned above also improve the quality of employee performance and collaboration with customers.

Abstract

The research was motivated by a pandemic situation which result in the limitations of teachers and students in carrying out learning and decreased learning motivation so that they were less active in the online teaching and learning process because the media used in learning was less interactive. Research was conducted at SMK Negeri 7 Malang Multimedia expertise program using website-based Mentimeter Learning Media to support online learning. The aim of this research is to increase student activeness and motivation by using Mentimeter interactive learning media as an alternative media in online learning. The research used True Experiment Design by using two classes as the experimental class and the control class. Data collection techniques by observation, interviews, questionariess, and pretest and posttest. The majors used for research are class X Multimedia 1 and X Multimedia 2. Data processing using Excel and SPSS version 26 getting the results of the Independent Sample T-Test motivation of 0,180 > 0,05 proves that there is no difference between the experimental class and the control class. For activeness with a value of 0,493>0,05, it proves that there is no difference between the experimental class and the control class results that a simple linier regression test with a significance value of 0,292>0,05 proves that Mentimeter media has no effect on student motivation, value significance 0,221>0,05 proves that Mentimeter media has no effect on student activity. The significance value of 0,03, the Mann Whitney test proves that posttest scores of the experimental and control class 77.3 and the control class 65,5.

Abstract

The xyz scholarship website is a site developed for xyz scholarship recipients, a scholarship program organized by the xyz institution. The purpose of this site is to facilitate the management in monitoring, as well as to facilitate scholarship recipients in reporting. Then, from the user experience questionnaire (UEQ) that the researcher distributed to eleven respondents, the score for the newness scale of the xyz scholarship website was on an average of 0.31 and a comparison benchmark that was "below average". Heuristic walkthrough is a combination of cognitive walkthrough evaluation method and heuristic evaluation. Cognitive walkthrough is an evaluation method used by all evaluators by carrying out evaluation tasks and helping with thought provoking questions to find problems. Next, heuristic evaluation is a method used by experts by comparing websites based on Nielsen's heuristic principles and giving a severity rating for each problem. This evaluation involves three categories of evaluators, namely novice, regular expert, and double expert. The results of the cognitive walkthrough evaluation found one hundred and two problem findings and 60.78% of them had similarities with the findings on the heuristic evaluation. Meanwhile, heuristic evaluation resulted in twenty problem findings with the highest severity rating of 2.35 on the H-5 (Error prevention). Taking into account the evaluation results, there are 24 suggestions for improvement with details, eighteen suggestions for interface improvements or including systems, four for system fixes, and two without improvements.

Abstract

MANET is a wireless network architecture where nodes can move freely and do not need to be connected to infrastructure. In MANET, all nodes act as a host and router that can receive and send data packets to other nodes. In addition, MANET also has limitation in energy usage. Nodes require sufficient energy resources when transmitting data packets. However, when the energy in the battery has been or will be depleted, that will cause process of data packet transmission to be disrupted. Therefore, limiting on energy usage are needed so data packets can be transmitted. The example protocol in MANET is Destination Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV). By using the energy model contained in NS-3.30.1, DSDV protocol is integrated with the energy model in order to read the remaining energy during the data packet transmission process. There are two schemes; (1) Scheme without Traffic Engineering and (2) Scheme with Traffic Engineering tested. Traffic Engineering that is built is limiting the data packets that can be forwarded based on an energy level of 500 Joules. The results show that the scheme with Traffic Engineering saving energy usage in each number of nodes with a percentage are 0,112%, 0,03% and 0,033% whereas the highest Packet Delivery Ratio (PDR) value is all schemes without Traffic Engineering.

Abstract

Distributed Deniel of Service (DDoS) is one of the most popular attacks today. DDoS is what aims to crash the server system by flooding packets or requests on the network. Characteristics of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) attacks are difficult to distinguish from normal network traffic flows, so to identify these attacks, a system that can classify DDoS attacks is needed. In this study, a DDoS attack classification system has been built using the nave Bayes method. The dataset used is a dataset from CICIDS2018 which has 84 features that can help nave Bayes performance in classifying DDoS attacks. As a test sample, the test data is obtained from the results of the attack test using the Slowloris program and then the traffic flow is captured in real time using TCPdump. The capture results are extracted and converted into .csv extensions using the CICFlowMeter tool. Then the data will be preprocessed to eliminate empty data and select the most relevant features to facilitate the performance of the nave Bayes method in classifying. The level of accuracy of the classification results is calculated using a confusion matrix. Based on the test results, the researchers found that the proposed method can classify DDoS attacks with an accuracy rate of up to 95%.

Abstract

The rapid development of technology also affects the world of education. Educational institutions have an important role in shaping the character of students and making students not blind to technology that is developing very rapidly. However, during this pandemic, educational institutions must stop the face-to-face learning process to stop the spread of this virus. Educational institutions must change the conventional learning system to become modern because it does not require a face-to-face process between teachers and students or what is commonly referred to as blended learning. PT. Lambda Solusi Informatika is a software house and wants to create a system to help solve this online learning process problem. The features in this system are adding courses, adding classes, adding instructors, applying courses, completing modules, completing tasks, and taking quizzes. This information system was developed using the waterfall method. In the need analysis stage, there were 73 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements. At the system implementation stage, the database used is MongoDB, and for the interface the author uses ReactJS. In system testing, a verification process for functional requirements is carried out using the white box method and the validation process for functional requirements using the black box equivalence partitioning method and manually testing non-functional requirements. With the construction of this system, it is hoped that it can simplify the learning process and be able to solve existing problems and hopefully it will be useful for users who will use this system.

Abstract

During the COVID-19 pandemic, many offline activities are turned into online activities via video meetings to prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. In the online video meeting, some micro-interactions are missing when compared to direct social interactions. The use of machines to assist facial expression recognition in online video meetings is expected to increase understanding of the interactions among users. Many studies have shown that CNN-based neural networks are quite effective and accurate in image classification. In this study, some open facial expression datasets were used to train CNN-based neural networks with a total number of training data of 342,497 images. This study gets the best results using ResNet-50 architecture with Mish activation function and Accuracy Booster Plus block. This architecture is trained using the Ranger and Gradient Centralization optimization method for 60000 steps with a batch size of 256. The best results from the training result in accuracy of AffectNet validation data of 0.5972, FERPlus validation data of 0.8636, FERPlus test data of 0.8488, and RAF-DB test data of 0.8879. From this study, the proposed method outperformed plain ResNet in all test scenarios without transfer learning, and there is a potential for better performance with the pre-training model.
