Abstract

Errors in catfish feed control can result in food residue in the pond. Leftover food in the pond can cause disease in catfish which results in the death of the fish. To anticipate errors in catfish feed control, a system that is able to regulate catfish feed is needed to prevent food residue in catfish ponds. Fish feed regulation requires differentiating or classifying feed doses based on the age of catfish fry, to minimize wasted food residue. Based on the background that has been described, this research focuses on the design and implementation of a catfish feed control system based on seed age and feed dosage. This research was carried out in a pond with sangkuriang catfish species. This study applies an Arduino microcontroller and an ESP8266 Wif Module which are connected to each other via a serial communication line using an internet connection as the MQTT protocol. Arduino functions as the main control system for the fish feed system to process the input signal from the load cell sensor as a feedback component on the internet of things that can be accessed connected to the system via token input access, then on the blynk interface. the initialization program and configuration of various variations of fish feed doses were applied as input commands aimed at the feed opening and closing actuators until the feed was given to the fish pond. The results of this study indicate that this fish feed control system is able to be a solution to overcome time efficiency and the selection of feed dosage according to the size of sangkuriang catfish.

Abstract

Blitz Energi Internusa Inc is a company engaged in construction work, which has a vision to become a leading company and partner of choice for comprehensive construction solutions at a global level. To achieve this vision, good implementation is needed in monitoring the progress of a project. However, in its implementation there are several problems such as frequent errors in determining project progress data, as well as incomplete photo documentation and descriptions of project work activities. Based on this, an information system is needed that can help make it easier to supervise projects. Therefore, in working on this thesis, a project supervision information system was developed which is expected to be utilized by the project manager and superintendent as a means to implement better project supervision. This system is web-based and made with a waterfall approach, and utilizes the CodeIgniter framework based on the PHP programming language to facilitate access and further development of information systems at Blitz Energi Internusa Inc. The results of the validation testing show that from 11 test cases, all functions can run well and are declared valid. The results of the compatibility testing show that there are several problems for the Internet Explorer browser including not supporting some features in CSS. And the results of user acceptance testing obtained an acceptance percentage of 84% for superintendent actors, 88% for project manager actors and 80% for admin actors.

Abstract

Aeroponics is a method of growing without using soil but using nutrient water that is sprayed into the air for 24 hours.. To make plants thrive by reducing water use, there are 2 important factors that need to be considered, namely temperature and ppm. To control using Arduino Uno, for temperature reading system using DS18B20 and for reading ppm levels using a TDS sensor using linear regression method to obtain a prediction of the duration of the output on. The outputs used are 12v fans, 12v and 5v water pumps, and misting nozzles. The results for the temperature with a setpoint in the 300C planting room, get the regression equation y = 9259.9x - 161904 with R Square or r2 = 0.9162, for the RMSE value of 11.413 and the MAPE value of 7.8%. And for the PPM level with a set point of 1170 PPM, the regression equation is y = -1.3298x + 1608 with R Square or r2 = 0.9792, for the RMSE value of 54 and the MAPE value of 8.9%.. Then for the computational value of the simple linear regression equation, the result is 1159ms or about 1.156 seconds.

Abstract

Pet Runner is a startup founded by several students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Brawijaya University. Pet Runner provides grooming services, health consulting and veterinary goods. In practice, Pet Runner uses the WhatsApp application to communicate with customers in determining schedules for grooming and ordering pet needs. As time goes by, the Pet Runner startup business experienced several problems, namely the limited number of WhatsApp accounts used so that the acceptance of customer requests became slower and the calculation of transactions and recording of customer data took longer due to the increase in the number of transactions. Firebase-based android mobile application development is the right solution because the majority of customers are android users and firebase can solve data processing problems with data integration. Application development is carried out using the waterfall software process model. The testing techniques used are scenario-based testing for functional testing and system usability scale (SUS) for non-functional testing. The results of scenario-based testing show a success rate of 100% with all test results valid. The score interpretation from SUS stated that the application is in Good application category for Adjective Ratings, obtained Grade C Scale and in Acceptable category in the Acceptability Ranges.

Abstract

Traffic accidents are one of the highest causes of death in Indonesia. In Malang, there were more than a hundred incidents of traffic accidents that occurred in the period 2019-2020. Violation of traffic signs is one of the factors that cause traffic accidents. The survey results show that 46 out of 55 respondents have committed traffic violations where the highest types of violations are breaking through traffic lights and violating traffic signs. More than 70% of respondents who have violated traffic signs stated that the cause was the lack of focus and the position of the signs that were not clearly visible. To overcome this problem, the solution offered is an Android application that can detect traffic signs while driving. This application is expected to increase the driver's focus so as to minimize the occurrence of traffic accidents. There are four traffic signs that can be detected in this application, namely no stopping signs, no parking signs, maximum speed limit signs, and traffic lights. The application detects each of these signs based on the contextual input received by the Android smartphone. Maximum speed limit signs and traffic lights are detected according to their position on the road and the radius from the user's location, while no parking and no stopping signs are detected if the user is within the radius of the sign and moving at a speed of less than 5 kilometers per hour. The sign detection method uses GeoFire, a Firebase add-on that implements the concept of geofencing. When the application is running, the application will notify the user of the successfully detected signs via notification messages and text-to-speech. In terms of development, this application is designed using the Model-View-Presenter (MVP) design pattern and implemented with the Kotlin, Java, and XML programming languages. Functional testing of the application is carried out using validation test which generate valid status for each test case. For non-functional parameters, the performance and usability of the application is tested. The performance test results show that this application is able to work and utilize device resources optimally and the results of usability testing produce a SUS score of 87 (excellent).

Abstract

Letters are written communication media that originate from one party and are addressed to other parties and are used to convey information. CV. Putra Bahari is a company engaged in the procurement of goods, services and construction services. The management of correspondence by CV. Putra Bahari currently uses conventional methods or has not been fully computerized, letters received and sent have different types, quantities and origins, including from gmail or from physical letters sent directly to the office of CV. Putra Bahari. That way, the use of correspondence management in the conventional way has many risks such as loss of mail data, takes up a lot of space and the process of managing correspondence such as distribution and making of letters. In filing letters, there are incoming and outgoing letters, where there are letters in the form of physical documents and soft files. With the above problems, it is necessary to develop a web-based mail management system to help manage correspondence with the integration of the IMAP Gmail protocol. Using the waterfall software development method because it has a sequential series and clear workflow. Where in the development stage using the waterfall method and designing using the Unified Model Language (UML) which consists of use case diagrams, activity diagrams, sequence diagrams, and class diagrams. In its implementation, the Laravel framework is used which has the advantages of making a better program code function, has good documentation on the official page and provides security against basic web security attacks, while at the testing stage it uses black box testing.

Abstract

The benefits of the jersey in the game of football are not just ordinary clothes, but as a shirt specially designed for the convenience of players. Attributes such as jersey color and back number as distinguishing information from other players. If in the game of football, the function of the jersey and attributes such as shirts, flags, colors, and jersey numbers is as a differentiator with the opponent, precisely as fans use these shirts and attributes as identity. CV. Quattro Project is one of the jersey manufacturing companies engaged in the production and procurement of sportswear. To maintain business detail and make plans for the following months then CV. Quattro Proect requires a method that can predict turnover in the next month, in this study the method used is linear regression and the data used is the turnover history data for the past year. From the tests that have been carried out almost every test, it produces the largest MAPE when used to predict turnover in November 2021, MAPE is very large because there is a significant decrease in turnover from October to November. However, overall the resulting average is good because the MAPE is only 10.23201. that means Linear Regression is a pretty good method used to do turnover predictions especially in businesses whose turnover tends to be stable.

Abstract

Correspondence service is one of the important activities in every village. One of the administrative services that are routinely directly related to the community is village population administration services such as making domicile letters, moving certificates, death certificates, application letters for making identity cards and other population service letters. correspondence service at the Wonodadi village office, Wonodadi sub-district, Blitar district. In its implementation it is only handled by an administrative apparatus, so it is not uncommon for the process of making letters to be quite time consuming. Registered letters are only manually archived using a notebook, often having an impact on the process of making routine administrative reports which are sometimes inappropriate due to recording errors such as forgetting to record or being recorded more than once. Therefore, in this study the authors built an application for village population administration services. The platform used to develop this application is responsive web-based, because the majority of Wonodadi villagers have smartphones to access the internet. The development method used to create applications is the prototyping method. This method supports fast and flexible development by utilizing the evaluation process to determine factors that can affect the development process. Based on the results of the analysis there are 12 functional requirements and 2 non-functional requirements. In testing the functional requirements using the blackbox testing method, the results are 100% valid. The compatibility test uses a scenario by running the application on several smartphone and desktop mobile devices using a browser that produces a compatibility value of 100% that can be run. Meanwhile, the usability test was tested using the usability scale method with an average result of 81 points for the villagers and 82 points for the village government.

Abstract

Attendance system is a system that regulates the presence or presence (a person, a group of people) at a place. There are various methods that can be done in recording attendance, namely the signature method, fingerprint method, card method, face recognition method, and so on. These various methods have their respective weaknesses and advantages, and the selection of methods can be adjusted to the prevailing conditions and situations. The Presence System application created has the aim of making it easier to take attendance without making direct contact with the tool quickly and integrated with the web to display attendance status in real time. This application is designed using Android because the use and availability of devices that use Android is very wide and available in various circles of society. Taken from one source of survey of the use of the Android Operating System (OS) states that 70% still use Android worldwide. In this research, the application is made using the Kotlin programming language on Android, web platform development using the Bubble.io tool, and PHP and SQL programming languages as supporting databases that contact Android devices with websites. Based on the results of the tests carried out, testing the Functional Suitability characteristics scored 100%, Compatibility characteristics with a score of 93.75%, Reliability characteristics with a score of 100%, and face recognition accuracy with a score of 100%.
