Abstract

Catfish is one type of fish that is often consumed by the community, catfish is also one of the fish with high economic value. In addition to high economic value, catfish is also a fish that has a fairly fast growth. Usually catfish with the age of 3.5 - 4 months are ready to be harvested, but even though the age of catfish has entered the harvest period, not all catfish have the same size as one another. That's all caused by the greedy nature of catfish and the imbalance in the number of catfish with the size of the pond. So farmers prefer to do manual sorting to determine which catfish are ready to harvest based on weight and length. Therefore, this study aims to assist catfish farmers in sorting catfish that are ready to harvest with the help of a load cell sensor to measure weight and an ultrasonik sensor to measure length. Then the two values will be classified using the K-Nearest Neighbors method with the help of Arduino as the main system for classifying and also servo as the output of this system. This study tested the load cell and ultrasonik sensors as input for the length and weight while the classification using the K-Nearest Neighbors method got an accuracy value of 81,25% with computing time 33 ms.

Abstract

CNS (Cirebon Niaga Sejahtera) is a CV company that is responsible for sending products from partner companies using transport vehicles. Problems experienced by CV. CNS lies in vehicle maintenance. Supervisors and drivers have difficulty in identifying the damage and finding a repair shop as a solution to the problems they are experiencing. Based on these problems, an application called MECHANIC was created which will later be able to assist users in finding a repair shop as a solution to the problems. The application design process uses the Design Thinking method where there are five stages in the implementation of this method, including Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, and Test. At the testing stage, the Usability Testing method will be used to assess the learning and efficiency aspects of the designs that have been made. Then after the test, the results of the learning aspect test resulted in an average respondent's success in carrying out the task scenario of 91.5% with a failure percentage of 8.5%. Thus, it can be said that the test on the learning aspect has met the target, where the minimum target must be achieved from the percentage of respondents' success in carrying out the task scenario of 70%. Then after testing to assess efficiency, it can be said that the level of user efficiency based on time-based efficiency calculations is 0.15 goals/sec.

Abstract

Since the Covid-19 pandemic, the trend of ornamental plants has become increasingly popular and favored by the public. Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, many MSMEs have difficulty running their businesses. Even during a pandemic like this, many people are interested in ornamental plants to be used as new hobbies or even for collection. An ornamental plant community that uses social media as a forum for interacting, sharing knowledge, and buying and selling ornamental plants. Therefore, research was conducted to design a user experience application for discussion forums and buying and selling of mobile-based ornamental plants that can help community members to discuss, and share knowledge about how to take care of ornamental plants properly, and become a forum for marketing ornamental plants. This research was conducted using the User-Centered Design method which focuses on the user, especially the user's needs. Testing is done by using the UEQ (User Experience Questionnaire) to measure the value of the user experience on the user experience design that has been made. After doing the UEQ test, it was found that the value of attractiveness is 2.23, perspicuity is 2.11, efficiency is 2.28, dependability is 2.15, stimulation is 2.19 and novelty is 2.05. Based on the value obtained, it can be seen that all aspects have an excellent category.

Abstract

Essential Clean is a business in the field of shoe washing and repair services that was established in 2020. So far, the business management process has been carried out online with social media platforms and offline for the Malang market. Since the entry into force of the lockdown until the PPKM, this business has been greatly affected, so the service process offered must be done online. Some of the problems faced by Essential Clean include the frequent occurrence of human errors due to personal and business chats that are not separate, the waiting time for admins to respond to orders ranges from 30 minutes - 2 hours in busy conditions and the limited number of admins and those who manage orders consist of one admin. Based on the problems that arise, the user interface for the Essential Clean website will then be developed based on the existing problems. With the construction of a website user interface, it is hoped that the order processing process will be more effective, efficient and easy to use. The process of developing this user interface uses the Human-Centered Design method, which involves the user at every stage and can produce a design solution that is specifically built to meet the needs of the related user. The stages of Human-Centered Design are understanding and determining the context of use, determining user requirements, producing a solution design and evaluating the solution design. The evaluation was carried out using a usability testing approach to eight participants. From testing on the aspect of effectiveness, the success rate is 93.06%. The efficiency aspect is carried out by calculating time-based efficiency which produces a value of 0.117 goals/sec. in the aspect of satisfaction measured using the usability scale sistem, it obtained an average value of 89.1, then the value obtained was converted into the SUS score category with adjective ratings excellent and the grade scale got a B value, which means the solution design results are acceptable. From the results of the evaluation, one suggestion was also obtained by the user which was then made improvements to the design of the solution.

Abstract

Use case diagrams are a fundamental thing in software modeling. This is because of its function states the interaction that occurs between user and system visually and presents all functions that will be carried out by the system briefly, concisely and clearly. However, to get a good use case diagram, good results of writing requirements and qualified elicitation analysis are needed so that it takes up too much time. One way to facilitate this is by automating the creation of use case diagrams. The system automation in this study is a modeling recommendation. Use case diagrams can be generated with system scenarios as input because they represent existing elements. Then to translate the scenario into use case diagrams are using natural language processing stanfordNLP and the plantUML library for making automation diagrams. The research was conducted by analyzing requirements and obtaining 7 functional requirements. The system development model that will be developed uses the waterfall with Java as its programming language because it could be integrated with the stanfordNLP and plantUML libraries. The system will be developed on a desktop and can be run on a platform that supports JRE (Java Runtime Environment). The next stage is unit, integration and validation and accuracy testing, with the results of the unit test procedure being 100% valid from 3 samples, validation testing 100% valid from all test cases and results of accuracy testing on usage scenarios between 47% to 64%.

Abstract

In the context of implementing e-Government in the application of Government Regulation Number 13 of 2019 concerning Reports and Evaluation of Regional Government Implementation in the implementation of regional autonomy policies as a whole. The Bureau of Government and Regional Autonomy, the Regional Secretariat of East Java Province, operates a web-based application for online delivery of Local Government Implementation Reports. Evaluation is needed on the application service as an improvement in the quality of the application at a later stage. This study aims to develop these services, especially in the usability section and to design interfaces as recommendations for usability improvements. This study uses the Heuristic Evaluation and Usability Testing method which involves 5 users and 3 experts in the usability field. The Heuristic Evaluation Method consists of 17 heuristic problems which are divided into 1 cosmetic problem, 6 minor problems, 6 major problems, and 4 disaster problems. The Usability Testing method was carried out in 2 stages in the test, the test was carried out before and after the arrival of the user interface, it was found that the test increase from the third aspect tested, namely the effectiveness aspect with an initial value of 86% to 88% efficiency aspect with a value of 81.3% to 84, 08% and satisfaction with the initial value of 72.5% to 79%.

Abstract

Decision making in the supply chain process must be appropriate so that the production flow process that is run can run well. One form of decision making from a company is through a Decision Support System (DSS). The implementation of SPK on Burger Moe's supply chain process aims to help companies determine decisions on selecting raw materials for production more quickly according to existing needs and conditions in order to help the company run well. In determining the production of raw materials, the company determines several criteria as a reference, including purchase price, purchase distance, number of uses (weekly period), and durability. These criteria become the main guidelines in the DSS using the WP (Weighted Product) method. The WP method is used to rank the best raw materials from all available alternatives. To see the suitability between the DSS and the decision recommendations made manually by the user, this study used the Spearman correlation test which resulted in a value of 0.586. This value indicates that the decision support system and user decisions have a moderate relationship strength.

Abstract

This research is based on learning activities were held face-to-face which were previously carried out remotely during the covid 19 pandemic so that practicum learning activities at vocational schools can be carried out again in schools. The purpose of this research is to know the influence of learning motivation and learning interest to study result of grade XI TKJ 2 students on practical Network System Administration subjects at SMKN 11 Malang after practicum activities can be carried out again at school. A quantitative approach with the type of ex-postfacto research is used as a reference approach. Questionnaires are used as a data collection tool to obtain information about learning motivation and interest in learning that are distributed via the Google Form link, while learning scores are obtained from the final grades of class XI TKJ 2 practicums. The samples in this study were students of Grade XI Computer Engineering Network 2 SMKN 11 Malang which amount 32 people. This study uses a saturated sample, meaning that all members of the population are used as samples, namely all students of class XI. TKJ 2 which amounted to 32 people. The results of this study show that motivation in learning had no effect on learning outcomes with significant value of 0.450 > 0.05. interest in learning had no effect on learning outcomes with a significant value of 0,074 > 0,05. Learning motivation and Learning interest had no effect on Learning outcomes with significant value of 0,177 >0,05.

Abstract

Group work is an important part of the learning process at universities, especially during a pandemic where all learning is done online. Student group work is very dependent on communication made by group members because there is no possibility to communicate directly. Team Communication is done using instant messengers, so it is important to know what role instant messengers play in the communication of a student work team. The purpose of this study is to explore what role communication via instant messenger plays in the performance of an student work team. This study uses a qualitative approach. Semi-structured interviews became the main tool in data collection. The data is analyzed using thematic content analysis which produces patterns that appear in the data. Based on the results of interviews, it was found that instant messengers have an important role in team performance where they act as a team connection tool, reminders of tasks, helping individuals in communicating, saving energy in establishing communication, and a coordination tool. As for the performance itself, communication through instant messengers has an effect on the score of team assignments and team member satisfaction, but has less effect on the completion of tasks according to the existing deadlines.

Abstract

The number of weddings in Indonesia makes it difficult for people who will hold a wedding to find the vendor of their choice. As recorded by the Indonesian statistical report, there were 1.74 million weddings throughout 2021. However, most people ordering wedding vendors are still manual, such as searching through Instagram or asking other people for information about wedding vendors. This research aims to design the user experience of wedding event vendor ordering applications to help between consumers who are getting married and wedding event vendors. The method used to design the user experience in this research is using Human-Centered Design. With this method, researchers can prioritize user needs by carrying out several stages, like literature study, user context analysis, user needs analysis, solution of design, and solution design evaluation. The final results of this research are wireframes, mockups, and prototypes which are then tested using usability testing on 5 respondents from the vendor side and 5 respondents from the consumer side. The test results from the consumer side include the effectiveness value of 100%, the efficiency value of 0.104 goals/second, the satisfaction value of 80 in the Good category and grade B scale. Meanwhile, from vendor users, the effectiveness value is 97.14%, the efficiency value is 0.071 goal/second, the satisfaction value is 82.5 with Excellent category and grade B scale.
