Abstract

Scheduling is one of the most difficult computing problems to solve. Problems in scheduling also occur in SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta which has implemented the 2013 curriculum with the system of university credit unit which for the implementation consists of two courses, namely 4 semester program and 6 semester program. Genetic algorithm is a search method that can be used to obtain optimal solution. Representation of chromosome in the research is divided into two segments, those ares chromosome length 748 for 6 semester program and 86 4 semester program. The optimal solution is obtained from the test that conducted 10 times and obtained the optimal parameter value of population size 600 individuals, the number of generations 1000 times, the value of cr 0.5 and the value mr 0.5. The results of the optimal solution in the form of course schedules for the 6 semester program and 4 semester program obtained from the highest fitness value of 0.16208. The result of the solution obtained from the highest fitness value is not optimal because there are still violations on the constraint in the scheduling of the courses in SMA Negeri 3 Surakarta.

Abstract

The use of internet network access around the world has a very rapid development. A lot of information is taken very easily. the existence of the internet can have adverse impact and have a good impact for its users. With this problem, we need a step to analyze the amount of development criteria internet users by collecting all the information activities requested by users by using a squid server that will be able to Classify the grouping of Internet user character types using naive bayes algorithm. The Naive Bayes Classifier (NBC) can form a probability table as the basis of a classification process that can predict and provide recommendations for processes processed with optimum value. Test results will affect the data classification factors taken in determining the results of the classification. Once found the value of the category naive bayes, then the mikrotik router will be blocking websites containing negative content. From the results of research and testing the determination of clustering can yield the value of Naive Bayes algorithm with accuracy level up to a maximum value of 98.2%.

Abstract

One of the problems in this research is the existence of the evaluation has not been done of Education department website. The purpose of the evaluation is conducted to find out the quality of usability, information quality, and service interaction quality of website in Education Department of Pasuruan Regency. The sample used of 100 respondents from a population of website users, with sampling simple random sampling. The collection of data obtained from the dissemination of the questionnaire then analyzed using descriptive statistics and calculation of Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). The results of descriptive statistics that the third variable included in the high category. The results of the value of the variable gap usability it of -0.35, information quality of-0.32, and service quality of interaction -0.36. Based on this website we can conclude that the website is considered able to meet the ideal quality. Indicators that need to be done improvements web colors, comfortable design is viewed, the type and size of the font is easy to read, the color of the background contrasts with the font color, information up to date, useful information for user information is beneficial to users, ease of communicating with organizations (links to the SKPD), and speed to respond and give a response.

Abstract

A good distribution is one of the company's strategy to increase the productivity of the company. Distribution strategy is indispensable in bottled drinking water, because bottled water business has increased every year. Distributor of bottled water has a variety of types and brands of goods with different packaging forms. The number of shipping destinations poses many problems in the distribution process, because it takes more time to arrive at different address and distances. This research has a goal to create a system that can help the process of distribution of goods with number of sales more than one, the problem is called Multiple Traveling Salesman Problem (M-TSP). One method to solve M-TSP problem is to use genetic algorithm, so it can determine the route with the shortest distance that will be visited by every sales. The genetic algorithm process uses permutation representations with chromosome length according to many customer orders and the number of orders on each sales, each gene is a number representing the customer number and the number of orders that each salesperson should visit. The test results show that the route sequence generated from the application of the genetic algorithm is better than that applied to the distributor with a total distance of 89.3 km and the fitness difference is 10.656578. The optimal parameters were obtained by generating population size 180, 400 generation and crossover rate 0.6 and mutation rate 0.4.

Abstract

At this time the chain lubrication which is conducted by operator on conveyor machine spent a lot of time because of the number of conveyor machine. The operator must lubricate a lot of conveyor chain so that the working hours become inefficient. To solve the problem then made an automatic lubrication system. The purpose of this research so that operators can manage the lubrication time on conveyor chain and then the operator can do their job. This automatic lubrication system works based on current level obtained by using ACS712 current sensor which is then calculated using linear regression method in arduino UNO to get the prediction value of lubrication duration. This value is used to activate wind solenoid relay, oil pump relay and oil solenoid relay. After the prediction of lubrication time has been fulfilled by all relays, the system re-measure the current for further lubrication. Proximity sensor is useful when the system is active, the oil pump relay is also active to deliver oil from the oil pump to the oil solenoid. This research uses linear regression method. The solution of this method is to use the current parameter as the independent variable (X) and the time of manual lubrication as the dependent variable (Y) so that the predicted value of the dependent variable (Ŷ) can be calculated as the duration of the automatic lubrication time. By using this method when the current reached the value of 3.88 A obtained the prediction value of the duration of automatic lubrication for 210 seconds. With 2.21% value of error between manual lubrication and automatic lubrication, the predicted value is not much different from manual lubrication time. The the difference predicted value is not too much between manual lubrication time and automatic lubrication system.

Abstract

Visiting an event is an activity to increase your knowledge or just for refreshing. The high interest to visit an event that was held in Malang so Eventmalang.net was made. Eventmalang.net is a website to find what events to visit according to the people's interest in Malang. This research focuses on how to redesign Eventmalang.net's user interface with user involvement. This research used usability evaluation by using Web Usability Evaluation Tool and Importance-Performance Analysis for develop a system. The result of usability evaluation can be used to redesign user interface of Eventmalang.net. Method in this research is Human-Centered Design, which in its development process use user perspective to develop a system. Discussion in this research is about context of use, user requirements, original design evaluation, develop solution design, and solution design evaluation. The results show user interface that used Human-Centered Design method has better usability value than the original design. The success rate in effectiveness aspect has increase 40%. The average time result in efficiency aspect has increase 265.1% on first task and 843.2% on second task. In customer satisfaction, the usability level by WEBUSE has good and excellent performance and keep up the good work in IPA's quadran.

Abstract

Interface quality is a great influence on usefulness of Geographic Information System (GIS) but it not yet to be important points in GIS and issues of GIS application difficult to understand by users because design of user interface than technical problems. This research is aimed at doing a comparison to applications QGIS and ArcGIS using user-centered design method. The usability testing shows from the aspect of effectiveness in every function tested are likely to be more high effectiveness on the application of QGIS in terms of the function 73% of the intersect, 73% buffer, 53% dissolve, 53% merge and 60% union while ArcGIS just high on 33% clip. On the aspect of efficiency with goals/min units, there's no function can be completed in one minutes, every task requires measures varied to achieve its goals, but the results show highest levels of efficiency on ArcGIS in terms of clip in 0,31, intersect in 0,38, dissolve in 0,90. While QGIS is higher on buffer in 0,88, merge in, and union in 0,80. The aspect of satisfaction show ArcGIS are likely to be more high satisfaction scores with 68,5 compared to QGIS with 54,5.

Abstract

Aerofood Indonesia was company that had been appointed together with the command of State-Owned Enterprises namely PT. Garuda Indonesia, Tbk. PT. Aerofood Indonesia is a company focused in in-flight services catering services. In the daily operational activities PT. Aerofood Indonesia uses information technology as a source of support in business activities to support infrastructure and communication services in-flight catering services. With implemented of information technology at PT. Aerofood Indonesia there were problems that often occured in corporate information technology services. This problem would required a solution. For that company they need a process that is focused in the problems appear in the company PT. Aerofood Indonesia. This problem refered to the existing DSS domain in the framework COBIT version 5. Need an evaluation process to be able to help to provided information and recommendations that are beneficial to the company in order to overcome the problems in the IT company PT. Aerofood Indonesia. The evaluation process is based on COBIT method that is Process Assessment Model. From the results of the evaluation the company is getting the (as-is) value for the subdomain DSS01 is at level 3, and the (as-is) value for the subdomain DSS02 is at level 2, while the (as-is) value for subdomain DSS03 is at level 2. Within the assessment process founded the gap based on the value of the expected capability (to-be) of 1.0 point. In this case the existing IT department at the company want expectations that can be achieved at one level above level (as-is). With this evaluation is expected to help companies to improve strategic decisions.

Abstract

Group Mitra Indonesia is a company engaged in the field of labor security services provider and investigation. The process of serving services to clients is the main business process running on PT. Group Mitra Indonesia. In the service delivery process there are several other processes that start from the offer and agreement of cooperation with the client, the acceptance and selection of labor, and also the placement of workers at the client company. In the process of presenting the service to the client there are some problems that cause the quality of service is bad. So we need to evaluate the current business process using Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method. To conduct a business process evaluation today requires the current business process model that is modeled by using Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN). Next phase is mapping the Quality Factor of every business process that has been modeled and determine the target and calculation of the realization at the company using the formula that has been defined in Quality Evaluation Framework (QEF) method. The results of the calculations performed at the evaluation stage will result some inappropriate Quality Factor. fishbone analysis method and 5 whys analysis is used to analyze the nonconformity obtained and is expected to assist the company in obtaining the root of the problem.

Abstract

Smartphone is an internet-enabled phone which provides a Personal Digital Assistant (PDA) functions such as a calendar, calculator, address book, diary, and notes. In addition, smartphone also defined as one of the technological evolution in the form of devices to meet the desires of its users. Smartphone technology has been adopted by many industrial sectors, such as, banks, health care, food, transportation which will improve user experience toward new technologies. Smartphones become one of the important things and desperately needed by Indonesian people at this moment. Using the smartphone, variety of work can be done more easily, faster and certainly more practical. Many benefits to be gained from the use of smartphone. That is encourage people to buy and use a smartphone. The desire to use a smartphone is influenced by various factors. This study aims to identify factors that affect the use of smartphones by using eight variables constructs. Data were collected by distributing online questionnaires to 248 smartphone users. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used as data analysis method. From the analysis process using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) can be concluded that the research model has a good fit level with research data because the test results show if the value of Goodness of Fit Indieces have met the criteria. In addition, the result of this study indicates that the factors which have positive affect toward Behavioral Intention to use smartphone that will affect the variable actual use of smartphone are Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, and Perceived Trust.
