Abstract

Push notification technology allows users (clients) to get information periodically. Information submitted by push notification in the form of notifications such as on social network or news sites. There are many technologies that can be applied to notification delivery. One of them is notification delivery using Websocket protocol and Server-Sent Events (SSE). The Websocket protocol implements full-duplex communication so that either the server or client can send and receive data simultaneously. While the SSE protocol implements half-duplex communication so that the client can only receive data sent server periodically. This study was conducted to compare the performance of Websocket protocol with SSE related to method of delivery of both protocols on push notification technology. Both protocols will be implemented and tested based on predetermined scenarios. The results obtained are the average delay and CPU usage in SSE protocol is smaller than Websocket protocol.

Abstract

SMK YP-17-1 Malang is an organization that operates a formal education. It holds a vocational education on a senior-high grade as a continuation from Junior high (SMP, MTS or any comparable junior high). As an organization that holds a formal education, it is imperative for SMK YP 17-1 to implement any govermental policy in its operation. In the process, there will be problems such as difficulties on implementing the dynamically changing curriculum and the problem of developing the staff's proffesionalism. Based on that fact, we need the skill, cooperation, and feedback among teachers on their daily routine so that they can share their knowledge. Hence, need to implemented a software to manage education/training process and also acts as a web-based information gateway for Training of trainers system. The completed system uses CodeIgniter framework that implements Waterfall development cycle and fulfills the functional requirement with 100% validation percentage. All three of the main feature has a complexity level under 21 which proves that this system can be operated with easy maintenance. Moreover, user satisfaction value reaches 84.17% which indicates that the completed system is categorized as "good" and has an adjective value of "B".

Abstract

Proper nutrition can reduce symptoms of Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). However, children are easily bored when given the same food constantly. In addition, food prices are also considered by parents. In this study sought the optimal solution of the problem of food ingredient preparation using genetic algorithm. To solve this problem, we use an integer permutation representation with chromosome length of 12 genes per day. These genes are a representation of a diet consisting of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats. The crossover method used is one-cut point, while for mutation method using exchange mutation. For the selection stage, elitism selection method is used. From the results of tests that have been done, we obtain optimal parameters that is 50 generations with an average fitness value obtained 13,928. The final result obtained is the composition of the food ingredient in accordance with the number of days desired.

Abstract

"ANDAL", The Primary Healthcare Organization and Management Model is a model that contains the primary healthcare service guidelines. In the implementation of the model, it needs technology support in the management of primary health information so that healthcare providers can provide higher quality primary healthcare services. This research was conducted to develop a health information system, started by performing requirements analysis with the results of the identification of system capabilities being visualized into the use case diagram. Furthermore, the information system modeling was performed to produce an object model and object interaction model in UML notation, and database design. Then, the implementation was performed and produced a web-based Primary Healthcare Information System that provides primary healthcare information management function and the function of calculating the level of risk of the disease and the level of stress that can be used to help healthcare providers determine healthcare intervention to be given to the patient. Furthermore, a system testing showed that the developed system can be run in accordance with the identified requirements.

Abstract

Traffic signs are signs of equipment that described of symbols, numbers, letters, or images and are used as security equipment to road users that they have to compy it. In the year 2017 there has been a traffic incident that reached 6,528 people. Violations happend because of the habit that continues and will put them on the risk of accidents among road users. Therefore it is necessary to learn traffic signs in early learning at the grade of kindergarten education so they will grow into people who orderly traffic. Learning methods can be provided through educational games. Educational Games are the way for someone to find solutions to a problem by making a fun approach. The game will be titled "ABEL Rambu Lalu Lintas" which will introduce the children about the meaning of traffic signs with kinect platform PC (Personal Computer). The reason of using kinect in game is expected to make children active and interact with each other. Playtesting game played by 20 children with 3 test times to calculate the average increase of pre test and post test. The results of the first test has been incrteased 12%, the second test 9%, and the third test 7%, The increase of the value indicates that the game is well received and it's able to provide many benefits of learning traffic signs for children.

Abstract

Mobile Applications is a program that runs on mobile devices like Handphone. Especially Smartphone that can accommodate many a program which certainly serves to facilitate users in undergoing their activities. Mobile Banking is required by its users to make transactions that can be done at the ATM. With this application, users do not need to come to the ATM to make transfers or check balances at ATMs. Because it can be done through the Smartphone he has. This is an opportunity for application developers to create Mobile Banking applications that user needs. In the development of this application, They are need the input from users for applications developed in accordance with the needs of its users. Therefore, it takes a method that is able to sort out the sentiments (comments) from the user. Whether the sentiment is included in positive or negative sentiments. In this study, the author used Modified K Nearest Neighbors (MKNN) as the method used to sort the sentiments. The highest accuracy value obtained is 76% for the value of K = 11 with 400 dataset. For 200 training dataset, the highest accuracy is 69% (K=3). And 70% for 300 training dataset and K=3.

Abstract

In this digital era, social media users are growing more rapidly and more mediasocial applications. One of the most widely used social media today is Twitter, with users reaching over hundreds of millions of people in the world. Twitter is a mobile or desktop application where users can create an article that can reflect their emotions through a short text form status with a maximum of 140 characters. With so many active users up to now then on every status created by Twitter users can reflect their emotions. It takes a pesikolog to see an emotion from the status of people in social media because there is no automatic system to determine one's emotions through its status on Twitter. The system in this research is made using Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) method. The FCM method can be used to generate rules that can replace the role of a psychologist to determine a person's emotions from a status he or she creates on Twitter's social media. The Term Frequency & Invers Document Frequency (TF-IDF) weighting method in text mining is used to process textual data into numerical data to be able to be processed by FCM. Based on the test results, this system produces an highest accuracy of 70% so it can be concluded that the FCM method is good used in the formation of a person's emotional determination of a status on social media Twitter.

Abstract

Al-Quran Mobile XYZ is a mobile al-quran application based on android and ios. Al-Quran Mobile XYZ counted as many as 10 million downloads through the play store. It shows how much the public interest to use the application of Al-Quran Mobile. With the presence of Al-Quran Mobile XYZ applications users do not need to carry the Quran manuscripts everywhere, only with smartphone users can easily carry and read anytime. But it would be a problem if the user does not pay attention to verses of the Quran that turned out to be an error. There have been several cases that have occurred with regard to errors in al-quran verses in one of the available applications, but still many users continue to use mobile al-quran applications. In this research, the research method used is Unified Teory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT), UTAUT Model shows that intention to behave (behavioral intention) is influenced by performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and facilitating conditions. Also in this research model is also combined with other factors, such as trust, perceived risk, and perceived information quality. This study used a sample of 100 respondents refers to the slovin formula. Then for the method of analysis using path analysis. The results show that perceived information quality has significant influence on trust, and facilitating conditions have a significant effect on behavioral intention.

Abstract

Library in Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) Universitas Brawijaya has many collections which may consists of thesis documents or internship reports with various titles and subjects. Currently there is a search system used to search collections which housed in the library. The system will receive keywords from user and then will perform a search based on the keyword and display the search results. However, the obtained search results may not be relevant from the keyword and not in accordance with user's perceptions and expectations. From this problem there is a solution which is to develop knowledge from library collections with semantic which will be accessed with a web-based system. The ontology is build on collection data using Protégé and the system developed using PHP. Result from white box test method using unit test showed that the system has low logic complexity. Meanwhile with black box test method on validation test, the results from all test cases are valid.

One of mental disorder which common happened on children under 7 years old. Child with ADHD characterized by lack of ability to concentrate, excessive behavior, and behavior that spontaneously out of control. Type of ADHD are inattention, hyperactive and impulsive. If child with ADHD unidentified early, it will causes psychosocial problem but not many people are aware about ADHD so they need a system for identify the type of ADHD. System uses classification methods Learning Vector Quantization. Some cases classification, LVQ has weak accuracy so it needs optimization methods Genetic Algorithm (GA) for improve the accuracy. LVQ's weight vector will be optimized by GA through genetic process until generated optimum weight vector which LVQ uses for training and testing process. Testing against LVQ and LVQ-GA generate LVQ's accuracy 77% and LVQ-GA's accuracy 92% with best parameters are population size is 75, crossover rate is 0.6, mutation rate is 0.4, number of generation is 80, learning rate is 0.001, learning rate decrement is 0.1, maximum epoch is 1000 and learning rate minimum is 10-16.One of mental disorder which common happened on children under 7 years old.
