Abstract

There are several kinds of resources that are often used in daily activities, one of which is water. PT. PJB UP Gresik utilizes water as a catalyst in producing electricity and other operational needs. This leads to a large reduction in the quantity of water, thus allowing a lack of water supply in PT.PJB UP Gresik. To anticipate the problem, it is necessary to forecast the amount of water usage. Support Vector Regression (SVR) is used to forecast the amount of water usage. The data used is taken from history of water usage for 7 months. Testing data used is 49, which is taken randomly from the whole data. To determine the best parameters in forming regression model, testing will be done by calculating Mean Average Percentage Error (MAPE). From the testing results that have been done, the optimal parameters obtained are the amount of training data is 110 with average MAPE value 26.104, number of iterations is 650 with average MAPE value 20.222, value of lambda is 6 with average MAPE value 19.058, value of epsilon is 0.001 with average MAPE value 19.049, value of cLr is 0.00001 with average MAPE value 19.676, value of C is 0.00006 with average MAPE value 20.018, and value of sigma is 0.75 with average MAPE value 19.455. The final result accuracy of forecasting conducted using MAPE with average MAPE value 19.051 that is included in the good category.

Abstract

Handphone is a portable telecommunication device. Currently, mobile phones are available in many kinds with many features and applications. As a result, children often use it out of bounds and have negative impact. Security is important for everyone, as well as children, especially the underage. Child abduction cases are concern for parents. Therefore, ensuring children's safety in their environment such as in school is very important. Efforts that parents can do is communication to monitor their children. Global Positioning System (GPS) is tool to provide information about existence of its users. To facilitate the communication of children with parents, this research will be made a mobile phone for children with principle of interaction design.. This mobile phone has LCD screen as call viewer and 4 push button. Push buttons have emoticon to calls to father, mother, teacher, and receive incoming call. From the test results, the functionality of mobile phone has been able to function according to input from the user. In the performance of the tool, obtained an average of 2.4 seconds for each user to press the push button. On usability, involving 20 students of Children Centre Brawijaya Smart School. In the questionnaire test of the usefulness, easy to use, ease to learn, and satisfaction, obtained an average value of 1 which means yes, from the likert scale 1 to 3.

Abstract

Population growth occurs due to the increasing number of births. The impact of population growth is affecting human welfare, Both in the economic, health, social, politic and cultural fields. Therefore it is necessary to forecast the population, to know how fast the rate of population growth. One of the most commonly used forecasting methods is the Fuzzy Time Series (FTS). However, this method still has a deficiency that is on the determination of the value of the interval that is less precise. therefore it is necessary the optimization algorithm to find the optimal value of the interval. This study aims to perform population forecasting in Probolinggo District by using FTS method which will be optimized using Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) algorithm. Optimization is performed to obtain optimal interval value on FTS and optimal parameter value on PSO. The parameters in the optimized PSO are (Inertial Weight), (velocity constant 1) and (velocity constant 2). The result of the test, that is got the best fitness , and value, is 0,559140, 0,535084 and 0.621134 and parameter value are 0,6, 1.8 and 2.4. Get the best fitness value of the forecasting, is 0.445334.

Abstract

Brawijaya University has no less than 44 Student Activity Units, but those 44 units still do not have publication facilities that complement, especially the Student Activity Unit of Merpati Putih. After the researcher conducted a survey to the Student Activity Unit of Merpati Putih of Brawijaya university, currently it only has a blog with a free domain, a very simple and less attractive appearance, and there were some features perceived less by the board and members, Therefore, it needs another means to obtain information about the Student Activity Units that can be freely or cheaply accessed anytime and anywhere. In this case, a website became a very appropriate solution to be realized in solving this problem. UCD is an acknowledged method of effectiveness and efficiency, so it is very appropriate to apply in designing websites of Student Activity Unit. From the application of these methods, the obtained test results on prospective visitors with the level of both effectiveness and efficiency got a value of 100%, the level of user satisfaction got a value of 80%, and usability rate got a value of 93.3%. More over, the results of this study tested to prospective administrators got 100% for the value of effectiveness and efficiency, 90% for the value of satisfaction, and 96.7% for the usability testing of prospective administrators.

Abstract

One of the requirements for good quality tobacco is a good land use. Improved quality of the land will result in increased quality and quantity of tobacco plants produced. The main constraints experienced by tobacco farmers in determining land suitability are the limited knowledge and difficulty of obtaining correct data on the quality of land suitable for tobacco plants. Therefore, a computerized system is needed to assist farmers in making decisions on prospective land to be used. This system is implemented using Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) Mamdani and optimized using Genetic Algorithm. Some of the factors used in this system include the percentage of land affected by the disease, the openness of the region, the degree of weight of the soil, the thickness of the layer, the ease of irrigation, terrain conditions, and soil pH. The reproduction method used is extended intermediate crossover and random mutation, while the selection method used is elitism. Based on the results of the tests that have been done, the most optimum solution obtained on the total number for 90 population , the combination of cr and mr value of 0.2 and 0.8 respectively and the number of generations of 500, with the average of fitness value generated of 0,917. The Accuracy generated by this system is 80 % using 10 test data.

Abstract

Pokemon GO is a location-based game with Augmented Reality (AR) technology. This game had 1,600,000 daily players on July 2016 and retain this number until 3 following months. This game also held 5 records in Guinness World Record on many aspects. But, as the time goes, Pokemon GO players keep declining until there are only 148,000 daily players on January 2017 and still retain this number until June 2017. To uncover the reasons why the number of Pokemon GO players keep declining, collecting data of 2 groups of player is needed, one with low-level players (level 3-15) and one with high-level players (above level 15) so it can be analyzed. There are 2 main methods for collecting data, the first is with questionnaire and the second is with interviews. These two methods will mainly based around game-design factors (Yen-Ru Shi and Ju-Ling Shih, 2015). After collecting data, the analysis process will determine whether there are significant differences among values and how questionnaires data and interviews data are related so conclusion can be made on why players left Pokemon GO. Lastly, recommendation will be made so this game and games with similiar type can meet the expectation of the players.

Abstract

Unit Layanan Modal Mikro (ULaMM) is a capital loan service for micro businesses. The large number of customer members who collaborate requires ULAMM to be able to manage customer data well and provide the best service to maintain and increase customer loyalty. Problems that often occur related to data management, especially the problem of credit history and lack of delivery of credit information from UlaMM to customers. Based on the problem, it is necessary to apply Customer Relationship Management (CRM) method to Service Automation domain to manage customer service automatically by taking function of contact centers configured to communicate with customers. Development of information systems using waterfall method that starts from the needs analysis, design, implementation and testing system. Design and implementation using structural approach (Data Flow Diagram, Entity Relationship Diagram and State Transition Diagram). Implementation Information System Web-based Credit Service and SMS gateway. Test results using black-box testing shows 23 functions run well according to needs and design. Testing usability (learnability, efficiency, memorability, error, and satisfation) to the user has an average value of 4.0, this indicates that the user is easy in using Credit Information System Information.

Abstract

Wireless technology makes any devices can be connected without wire that limiting the range. We need an optimal placement and configuration of the access point for optimal coverage reasons. Signal strenght from access point does effect to a connection quality. Nowadays network analyst are using a network coverage analyzer software called Ekahau Heatmapper. It uses heatmap method to mapping network coverage. The software analyzes RSSI's (Received Signal Strenght Indicator) value then the value into a range. Each range is represented by color that signs the strenght of wireless signal. But its procedure should be awkward for some reason. You need to draw a sketch of the room that you want to analyze. Then you must bring your laptop to track around the room. Wi-Spec offers an alternatives with a same method based on heatmap that Ekahau Heatmapper does. Wi-Spec is a device using Wemos D1 as it's microcontroller with RGB Led Strips as output. We combine this method with light painting photography using a photo as frame makes the result is more real and accurate than info from 2D sketch that Ekahau does. Wi Spec compatible with Arduino IDE using ESP8266Wifi.h and FastLED.h. FasLED.h library features predifined color that can subtitute the heatmap color from Ekahau Heatmapper. These colors are : Green, Lime, , Yellow, Orange, Red, and running dot red light while it hasn't receive signal.. From the SSID and RSSI capability test, the device can't get the SSID and RSSI from a hidden configured SSID. Differences of wireless receivers beetween implementation caused a different result on one of an area point.

Abstract

Pencak Silat is a traditional martial art originating from Indonesia. Along with an evolution of the time pencak silat is not only used to protect and defend themselves from opponents, but also show in a contest. Determination of the final result in selection that still counts the manual becomes main obstacle of the jury when one of the parties can't accept defeat while competing. To overcome these problems required a classification system that is able to classify enrolment acceptance of the pencak silat athletes had eligible pass the support vector machine (SVM) method by the SVM classifying the data into two classes. The data used in this research is 110 whitch is divided into training data and test data with 2 classes of acceptance of selection is pass and not pass. The best accuracy result in this research based on experiment ratio of data 70% : 30%, using kernel Polynomial Degree d = 2 and parameter value λ (lamda) = 0,1, γ (gamma) = 0,0001, ε (Epsilon) = 0.000001, C (Complexity) = 0.00001 and Itermax = 250. Kernel use in this research value of Polynomial Degree 2. The average result of accuracy using SVM method in the classification enrolment of the Pencak Silat athletes is 69,09 %.

Abstract

Consumer reviews at a restaurant are very influential in the quality of the restaurant itself. Many of the consumers pour critics or opinions through the internet media. The purpose of this study was to analyze the opinion sentiment from traditional food consumers as well as provide location recommendations with the desired keywords. Naive Bayes is a machine learning technique that is often used to classify text data. Chi Square is a feature selection used to calculate the level of a feature's dependencies on a class. In this study, Chi Square method gives value to the feature which is then sorted and selected according to percentage tested. Selected features are used for the classification process using the Naive Bayes method. The result of classification accuracy with 25% feature selection is 81%, with 50% feature selection is 80% and with 77% feature selection is 80%. From this test it can be concluded that feature selection is not so influential on the result value accuracy. It can be seen the difference of the accuracy value between using feature selection and without using a feature selection that is not very significant.
