PALAPA: Jurnal studi Keislaman dan ilmu pendidikan diterbitkan oleh lembaga penelitian dan pengabdian masyarakat (LP2M) STIT Palapa Nusantara Lombok Nusa Tenggara Barat melalui Koordinatorat Perguruan Tinggi Keagamaan Islam Swasta (Kopertais) Wilayah IV Surabaya. Jurnal ini terbit enam bulanan, yaitu bulan Mei dan November. Jurnal ini memuat kajian-kajian keislaman dan ilmu pendidikan yang meliputi Ilmu Pendidikan, Pendidikan Islam, Syari'ah, Pemikiran Islam, dan kajian Islam lainnya.

The Qur'an is the first source of Islam in the guidelines of Islamic life. In each verse and letter there is a meaning to seek a deep search of all implied objects. Therefore one of the potentials of man in taking a knowledge is reason. Reason becomes an intelligence in building human civilization in the future, reason is also able to guard and nurture man in all his ugliness and error. Therefore it is necessary as a Muslim to have an intellectual in understanding many things. In the Intellectual Qur'an there is a lot of influence on the meaning of attachment to every meaning contained in each verse of the holy book, one of which is the word Nazara (obsevasi) which is depicted in the letter at-Thariq, tafakkara (thinking) in sura al-Baqarah, and Fahima (understanding) al-Anbiya'. Then in all its interpretations using the tool of the ancient knife only believe to be used as a belief and some who research it with all its flaws, so that in this century a lot of authenticity and truth in the holy book of the Koran to be used as a source of knowledge to be associated in the current research both in terms of intellectual, emotional and spiritual.

The purpose of this study is to describe the concept of PAI teacher competence, propose the concept of PAI teacher competence from the perspective of the Ayyuhal Walad book and analyze the implications of the impact of the PAI teacher competence concept in the Ayyuhal Walad book. This research is included in the library research method by collecting, citing and analyzing using data collection analysis from the literature that is representative and relevant to the discussion. The results of this study indicate that the concept of teacher competence is dominated by the competence of the teacher's personality.

This paper discusses the effectiveness of supervision carried out by madrasa supervisors in the Ministry of Religion of the Kepulauan Riau Province from a contemporary perspective. The problem is that in the Kepulauan Riau Province there is an imbalance between the number of madrasas and the number of supervisors needed. One thing that is interesting is how the management of educational supervision is carried out while the number of supervisors has not been reached. This research is categorized as field research with qualitative research methods. The data were taken from direct observations at the research location, namely at the Ministry of Religion of the Kepulauan Riau Province and in madrasas. The nature of this research is descriptive-analytical research which aims to accurately describe and analyze the supervision carried out by madrasa supervisors at the Ministry of Religion of the Kepulauan Riau Province. From the data collected, it was found that those who act as madrasa supervisors within the Ministry of Religion of the Kepulauan Riau Province are mostly madrasa heads. Therefore, in addition to serving as a leader in his madrasa, the madrasa principal is also expected to be able to understand and be able to carry out supervision properly. With such conditions, adequate competence is needed that must be possessed by a madrasa supervisor who doubles as the head of the madrasa. So that the supervision carried out can run effectively.

Education is one that everyone should follow. With adequate education someone will be able to answer the global challenges in life. With this education also the dignity of a person will be lifted, the lower the level of education of a person, the dignity of the environment is also low. The dignity of the Indonesian nation in the eyes of the world is also influenced by the education of its population. One indication of the achievement of the education process is the realization of satisfactory learning outcomes. Education can be said to be successful if good learning outcomes are achieved or students get grades above average. The purpose that has been determined in this study, namely to improve student group learning outcomes with the lecture method through learning strategies to increase thinking skills (SPPKB) in the integrated IPS subject for class VII at SMP N 2 Jerowaru. Therefore, to achieve this goal, the researchers tested 28 students as samples with 11 male and 17 female samples taken from the total population. This type of research is classroom action research (PTK) which consists of two cycles and each cycle consists of two meetings. The research instrument used to determine the level of understanding of students was a descriptive test (subjective) which was then analyzed by learning completeness criteria, while to determine the activities of students and teachers using observation sheets. Based on the results of the research, after analyzing the data, it was obtained data on students' understanding of cycle I in student discussion group activities of 74.4% with an average of 2.6 and 50% completeness of student learning with an average of 59.3. while in cycle II the percentage of student discussion group activities was 87.2% with an average of 3.1 and the percentage of student learning completeness as much as 89.1% with an average value of 72.1.

The aim of this research is to conduct a theoretical study of the internalization of Sufism values that are applied to the teachings of the tarekat. This study uses an in-depth systematic literature focusing on looking at the concept of internalizing Sufism values applied in the tarekat. In this research process, there are several stages consisting of the literature collection process, literature selection, analysis, and finally combining all the analyzes into a unified whole. The results of this study indicate that the ability of the salik to accept, understand, and carry out the teachings of the tarekat given by the mursyid can be directly through the internalization of Sufism values. Sufism values can be implemented as a form of mental or mental development in the form of patience, tawakkal, sincerity, taubah, qona'ah, zuhud and others so that these values require serious training (riyadho) so that the form of application can be maximized. by experiencing it as a whole.

Tafsir is one way to find out and show the meaning and intent according to the content of the verses of the Qur'an. The purpose of this research is to reveal what methods can be used in interpreting the Qur'an. The research method used is library research. The tafsir methods used by mufassir on the interpretation of the Qur'an can be grouped into four methods; First, the method of ijmali interpretation. Second, the method of tahlili interpretation. Third, the maudhu`i interpretation method. Fourth, the method of interpretation of muqaran. The division of this category is a new categorization, because this category exists after research in various commentary books, as a result, experts in science divide the method of interpretation used by interpreters as 4 kinds. The four interpretation methods commonly used by the mufassir, each have advantages and disadvantages. Although the methods of interpreting the Qur'an are different, the essence remains the same, namely the mufassir trying to explain the meaning of the verses of the Qur'an for themselves and others.

Teacher-Centered Learning that uses conventional methods often makes students bored and bored. This can be one of the causes of the inhibition of students' thinking abilities. The purpose of this study was to examine the application of the Teams Games Tournament (TGT) learning model so that the student's way of thinking became more honed and no longer bored during learning. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method in its implementation. The research subjects were class VIII B Regular MTs N 1 Probolinggo, 24 students. Data collection techniques based on pre-test and post-test. The research model design is carried out through the following stages: planning action, implementing the action, observing/evaluating, and reflecting. The results show that the students have achieved the expected learning mastery, 75%. That is, the thinking level of students is getting higher so that the learning objectives that have been designed can be adequately achieved. This is evidenced by the average score of 80.25 students and 17 students who have completed their studies or 70.83%.

Starting from the construction of darun nadwah as a meeting place for discusses the problems experienced by the tribes of the Qureish tribe to find a solution together until the arrival of Islam as a unifying religion. Human discussion is a habit that has become a routine for the Arabs. Likewise, when Islam is present and spread throughout the world, including Indonesia. This habit becomes very attached and becomes a culture for people of Indonesian Arab descent, especially Ampenan Arab descent who, although the name changed to majlas but the essence is the same as the association – the association created by his predecessors. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method with a approach ethnography and discuss about the majlas culture in the Arab community in Ampenan and find out if this custom is the same as the gathering - past gatherings, as well as whether the majlas gave birth to good outputs related to the economy education and social community.

5S (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, dan Self Discipline) is a work culture that must be applied in all workplaces both in the formal and informal sectors. The implementation of 5S aims to make workers feel comfortable and safe while working. In addition, the application of 5S can make work more effective and efficient because it can eliminate wasted time due to more time to search for goods, work areas that look full due to excess equipment and un needed goods or dirty environments. Furniture Works In Semanding District, Kauman, Ponorogo is one of the informal sectors that have not implemented 5R. This is seen from the condition of the work area full of unnecessary equipment and goods, messy, and dirty. Therefore, researchers conducted research analysis of the application of 5S in Furniture Works. Purpose: The purpose of the research to know the application of the principle of 5S in Furniture Works. Method: This research uses qualitative design. The research was conducted with direct observation and using the 5S checklist. Research Results: The results showed that the application of 5S in Furniture Works is still not good. This is evident from the achievement of the 5S as a whole which is below 50%. Conclusion: The results of the study concluded that the implementation of 5S in Furniture Works is still lacking so it is necessary to conduct training on 5S and internal audits periodically.

This study aims to identify the content of Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) in the thematic textbook for class V theme 1 especially sub-theme 1 and sub-theme 2. This study applied a qualitative descriptive approach with content analysis method. The data analysis technique used was Miles and Huberman model which included four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data display, and drawing conclusion. The results reveal that the details of HOTS content in the thematic textbook for class V theme 1 particularly sub-theme 1 and sub-theme 2 consist of a combination of knowledge dimension and cognitive process dimension, particularly the knowledge dimension of cognitive process of level 4 (analyzing/C4) which comprises conceptual and metacognitive knowledge dimension. The details of HOTS content of knowledge dimension of level 5 (evaluating/C5) consist of conceptual and procedural knowledge dimension and metacognitive knowledge dimension, meanwhile the knowledge dimension of level 6 (creating/C6) encompasses procedural and metacognitive knowledge dimension. The number of HOTS content comprises the cognitive process dimension of level 4 (analyzing/C4) 27,78%, level 5 (evaluating/C5) 38,89%, and level 6 (creating/C6) 33,33%.
