Abstract

Abstract: The low participation rate below the national average for high school (SMA) students inBandung City in 2018-2019 has prompted the Ruangguru Foundation and PKBM INTAN to provide the Ruangguru Digital Bootcamp Package C program. This research aims to individually evaluate the outcomes of the program, which has carried out a set of activities related to academic education and soft skills. The program proposes to create independent and empowered individuals in order to reduce youth unemployment. Using a qualitative approach, this type of evaluative research describes the outcomes achieved based on the indicators specified by the program implementers. The evaluation is also based on the concept of empowerment in the realm of social welfare related to out- of-school students. The research was conducted in-depth to a sample of beneficiaries who have the goal of working or pursuing higher education after completing all stages of the program. Through interviews and documentation studies, the research results show that the indicators of program success in the outcome aspect have been achieved, namely having a sense of self-confidence and increasing their intellectual capacity or soft skills.

Abstract

This research aimed to know the process of character building of primary school students and reviewed from the cultural background in Lereng Gunung Slamet. Research method used was qualitative with interpretative approach. Data were collected by using interview and documentation. Then data source was students, teachers, parent of SD Negeri 1 Serang and people while determination of informants used purposive sampling. Data analysis technique was begun by reducing data, presenting data and verification. Research result was that cultural background in lereng Gunung Slamet built students’ characters of SD Negeri 1 Serang. These were because characters built by language elements were friendly and communicative, livelihood elements were discipline, hard work, environmental care, and responsible, religious element were tolerance, honest, loving peace and social care, and last was art and traditional elements where art built characters of creative, loving the homeland , friendly/communicative, and spirit of nationality, while tradition built characters of religious, loving homeland, tolerance spirit of nationality, loving piece, social care and environmental care.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of character-based learning innovation on developing positive characters in the Character Genius Islamic School Elementary School in Depok. This study uses a qualitative research approach with data collection techniques using interviews, observations, and literature review. Character-based learning innovations at the Genius Islamic School Character Elementary School are designed, developed, and structured dynamically by the teachers by prioritizing noble character values ​​based on local wisdom. The development of character-based learning at SD Character Genius Islamic School is carried out through various strategies, including implementing Seven Core Values ​​or 7 (seven) pillars of character in every learning and civilizing process in the school environment, including religious pillars, discipline, empathy, respect, integrity, critical thinking, and self-regulated learning. The various learning strategies carried out by the teachers at the Character Genius Islamic School have a positive impact on students' character development. With the highest results obtained, namely Religion Belief, with an achievement of 97%. It shows that teachers have succeeded in internalizing religious values ​​to students, informing positive characters always to hold fast and believe in their religious teachings.

Abstract

This study explains how the implementation of strengthening nationalism character education and what factors influence the implementation of nationalism character with Aswaja amaliyah as counter radicalism in SD Islamiyah Magetan. Then what are the impacts on counter radicalism? All these questions will be answered by researchers using a qualitative approach. This research uses descriptive analytical thinking method with field research. The results of this study are that students are able to fortify themselves from the influence of radicalism that spreads in schools and schools. The inhibiting factor is the influence of social media which is often accessed by students from propaganda. Meanwhile, another supporting factor is the commitment to the parents of students through good communication towards understanding the importance of nationalism character education through Amaliah Aswaja. So that it is hoped that it can support nationalism character education through Amaliah Aswaja able to ward off radicalism.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu menganalisis penerapan 5 nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar dan mendeskripsikan faktor pendukung dan penghambat penerapan 5 nilai karakter dalam pembelajaran di sekolah dasar. Metode dalam penelitian menggunakan metode analisis kualitatif.. Teknik pengumpuan data dalam penelitian ini yaitu observas, wawancara, dan telaah dokumen. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini adalah pengumpulan data, reduksi data, dan penyajian data. Nilai religius yaitu menghargai perbedaan, tertib, teguh pendirian, percaya diri, dan persahabatan. Nilai Integritas meliputi nilai dapat dipercaya, keteladanan, memenuhi tugas dan keadilan. Nilai gotong royong meliputi nilai bekerjasama, tolong menolong, sikap kerelawanan, anti diskriminasi, dan solidaritas. Nilai nasionalisme meliputi nilai rela berkorban, unggul dan berprestasi, rasa nasionalisme, taat hukum, taat aturan dan menghormati keragaman suku,budaya dan agama. Nilai mandiri meliputi nilai bekerjasama, kreatif dan berani. Nilai karakter mandiri ini ditekankan kepada siswa dengan berbagai cara, siswa dilatih untuk mampu berfikir kritis, mampu mengekspresikan dirinya serta tidak sungkan untuk bekerjasama dengan teman sebaya nya dalam bertukar fikiran.

Abstract

The role of the teacher in the school environment is not only as a teacher, there are so many teacher roles that the teacher must carry out. One of the teacher's roles in schools is to enforce school rules, where this order is very important to carry out so that discipline is embedded in students. In this study, the main objective is to describe how the role of teachers in enforcing school rules and regulations. Techniques for collecting the data needed in this study used interview, observation, and documentation techniques. To manage the data using an interactive analysis model from Miles and Huberman, namely collecting data, reducing data, presenting data, and drawing conclusions. In this study resulted in a style of role performed by the teacher such as using a role style that is seen in the process undertaken by the teacher in supervising students, making decisions, and enforcing rules and acting in determining a solution or problem that arises.

Abstract

This development research was carried out based on the teacher's difficulty in presenting complete and interesting teaching materials so that students were less enthusiastic when the learning process took place. This study aims to test the feasibility of teaching materials in the form of e-modules on theme 2 sub-theme 3 for third grade elementary school. This research is a development research using the ADDIE model. The stages of the ADDIE model to develop this e-module were modified into three stages, namely analysis, design and development. The data collected in this study are quantitative data and qualitative data. The methods used to collect data are: observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The subjects involved in this study were 2 design experts, 2 material experts and 2 linguists. The data analysis technique used is quantitative and qualitative descriptive data analysis techniques. The results showed that the validation of design experts obtained an average of 92.31% in the "Valid" category, material experts obtained an average of 87.49% in the "Valid" category, and linguists obtained an average of 82.04 % with the category "Valid". So that the average value obtained from the development of this reading e-module is 87.28% with the "Valid" category.

Abstract

The objectives of this research to explain the effect of (1) E-Learning on the learning motivation; (2) Social Media as a learning medium on the learning motivation; (3) E-Learning and social media as a learning medium on the learning motivation. This research uses a quantitative approach with correlational research type. The data analysis technique used simple and multiple linier regression test. The results of this research indicatet that (1) there is a positive and significant influence between E-Learning on the learning motivation on a simple linier regression test from tcount>ttable (7.295 > 1.97) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; (2) there is a positive and significant influence between social media as a learning medium on the learning motivation on a simple linier regression test from tcount>ttable (7.476 > 1.97) and significance value of 0.000 < 0.05; (3) there is a positive and significant influence between E-Learning and social media as learning media on learning motivation on the calculation of multiple linier regression test from Fcount>Ftable (34.831 > 3.04) and a significance valu of 0.000 < 0.05.

Abstract

Good literacy skills can help students understand information both verbally and in writing. The implementation of the habituation of the School Literacy Movement is one of the literacy activities and a form of government awareness of the importance of building a literacy culture in the world of education. This study aims to describe the implementation of the habituation of the School Literacy Movement at SDN 009 Lubuk Agung, Kampar Regency. This research is a descriptive qualitative research. The subjects of this study were 1 principal and 6 homeroom teachers. Research instruments in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The data analysis technique in this study is the presentation of data and drawing conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it shows that the habituation of the School Literacy Movement has not been carried out well, this can be seen from the results of the interviews that reading has not been carried out 15 minutes before the lesson starts, the school facilities and environment are not yet rich in literacy, and also not rich in text, cannot choose reading materials in the classroom. schools, and also not involving the public. From the results of observations based on indicators of habituation of the School Literacy Movement, the implementation of the School Literacy Movement has not been carried out properly.

Abstract

Assessment is an important part of education, because with the assessment educators can see the extent to which the success of the learning process and the abilities of students. There are various types of assessments to measure students' abilities, in the 2013 curriculum there is an assessment model called authentic assessment. Authentic assessment is a comprehensive assessment that not only assesses students' cognitive mastery, but also assesses affective and psychomotor mastery. Educators who conduct authentic assessments of students will get the right assessment results, but sometimes there are still educators who use authentic assessments but are not in accordance with the competence of students. This study aims to reveal the problems that often occur, namely the discrepancy between the value and ability of students in mastering the subject matter. This research is a qualitative research. In the collection using observation techniques, interviews, and documentation.
