Abstract

The balance of technological developments in education must be carried out through digital competence. Digital competence is the ability to take advantage of digital technology to contribute more efficiently to work. The increase in the intensity of technology use during the pandemic cannot be generalized that teachers master learning technology. Digital competence has a broad study, not just technical. This study aims to diagnose the digital competence of PAI teachers after the pandemic. The DigiComp framework was adopted in this study to measure digital competence. The research design uses a quantitative approach, survey is applied as a research method. The research sample was PAI teachers throughout the city of Cirebon at various levels of education. The data were analyzed descriptively quantitatively. The results of the teacher's digital competence research cannot be said to meet. From the measured digital competence aspect, it was found that the percentage score was lacking, namely the security aspect and digital content creation. Increasing digital competence through regular training and guidance needs to be implemented.

Abstract

The process of utilizing digital systems in the world of education to realize a learning process is the government's effort to equalize access to education and reduce the digital divide. The Covid-19 pandemic is to blame for adopting digitalization in the education sector. Using the perspective of social exclusion in Indonesia, this study aims to describe educational inequality through efforts to digitalize education during the Covid-19 pandemic. The literature review method was used to map the issue of social exclusion and inequality in the education sector in Indonesia's digitalization efforts by the government for students. The Google Scholar and Scopus features filter journal articles about educational inequality and digitalization efforts during the data collection process. Based on research findings, building more ICT infrastructure to support 5G in rural developing countries, promoting digital literacy programs, implementing policy incentives for digital technology, and increasing the equity of digital services are all strategic efforts to address educational inequality. Acknowledging comprehensive schooling, The Service of Instruction and Culture sent off a few developments to help the digitalization cycle. The development of a Learning House is one of the most significant.

Abstract

This study examines the value of traditional social education "Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus". In particular, this research is aimed at uncovering the meaning of the tradition of “Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus”; the peculiarities of the tradition of “Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus”; and the value of social education contained in the "Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus" tradition. The qualitative approach was chosen as a way to reveal the tradition of “Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus”. As for the results of this study, the meaning of the social tradition of "Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus" starts from replacing the mosquito net in the area of ​​Sunan Kudus's tomb, the traditional social event "Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus" an effort to pray for, respect, imitate the teachings and seek blessings from Sunan Holy. For the Kudus community, the implementation of Bukak Luwur” is considered an obligation. The peculiarity of the "Bukak Luwur Sunan Kudus" tradition is Ashura Porridge as a mandatory dish in the tradition. Abstract

This article results from field research at several religion-based schools in Surakarta. The focus is to answer the first formulation of the problem, which identifies the process of harmonization in schools and implements multicultural education. It talks about how harmonization practices exist in the school environment through various policies. This harmonization process is essential in creating an atmosphere and learning environment that is tolerant, harmonious, and respectful among fellow school members. The second formulation that the author wants to review in this article is regarding the school's strategy in implementing multicultural education through social capital owned by the school. Using a qualitative method and a case study approach, the data obtained shows that schools have beliefs, values ​​and norms, obligations, and expectations in the form of a vision and mission that can become capital in strengthening unity towards a multicultural school. Based on the findings of the data obtained, the researcher concluded that schools are not just a place to transfer knowledge between teachers and students by the guidance of curriculum. Moreover, schools are community settings. There are structures, values ​​, and norms in the daily educational process. The social capital used is James Coleman's social capital, which every community has. We see here the school community must have the capital and components to maintain their society. In this case, unity in diversity.

Abstract

Conditions in the field show that children with special needs who are blind and slow learners still have many deficiencies in math problems. Therefore, there needs to be an in-depth discussion on this matter. This article will describe the process of teaching and learning arithmetic for students with special needs through article analysis so that later it will be known how to ideally carry out numeracy learning for children with special needs through a policy. This research aims to describe the counting process of teaching and learning of students with special needs. This study uses a systematic literature review method. Data collection was carried out by documenting and reviewing previous articles related to the process of learning numeracy for students with special needs. Articles are searched by searching for articles using the Google Scholar database. Included in the discussion of this learning process are learning methods and models, learning media, and difficulties or challenges faced by students with special needs and teachers in learning numeracy. The final results of the review can be concluded that the process of teaching and learning numeracy between regular students and students with special needs has several differences, including the number of students, the time of delivery of material, and teaching and learning activities. Four alternative policies are proposed: facilitating accompanying teachers, preparing disability-friendly school facilities, collaborating with institutions dealing with children with special needs, and preparing numeracy media.

Abstract

This research observes, explores, and discovers how Islamic boarding schools educate and teach the science of humility (tawadlu') to their santri (students). Through this research, the researcher also digs deeper into wasilah, or the tools used to educate and teach humility to the santri. This research approach was descriptive-analytical, in which it did not only look at the processes involved in Islamic boarding schools and analyzed more deeply, resulting in positive findings beneficial to the academic world. The research location was at the Al-Kamal Tambaksari Islamic Boarding School, Kuwarasan, Kebumen, with the primary informants being the Board of Directors of the Islamic Boarding School, the Head of the Madrasah Diniyah, the Deputy Head of the Kesantrian Curriculum, and the ustadz (teacher) of the teaching division at the Islamic Boarding School. The study results revealed that, first, the habituation of the humility teachings originates from the "Kitab Akhlakul Banin," which is a book about how to have positive morals and ethics, and the book also guides santri to have healthy personalities. Second, the teachings of the "Kitab Akhlakul Banin" are not only at the conceptual level but have also reached the applicative level, i.e., the santri have traditionally taught the humility teachings in their daily lives based on the book. Third, with the strengthening of exemplary in the humility aspect, all stakeholders always exemplify the humility teachings to the santri, not only the kyai but the leaders also exemplify it.

Abstract

This article discusses one of the learning models that can be used in schools: Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in social studies learning to foster moral character. Prosocial actions and good and beneficial attitudes can characterize a person's moral character. A vital prerequisite for a country is to have quality and human moral resources (HR) because by doing so, a country will be able to adapt to global problems and increase the nation's competitiveness. The purpose of this research is to determine whether problem-Based Learning (PBL) in social studies learning fosters students' moral character. The method used in this research is a literature study(library research). The data analysis used in this research is content analysis (Content Analysis). Findings from research can be known by using a learning approach Problem-Based Learning (PBL) in social studies learning can help students grow their moral character. Because character building, which seeks to create good and useful citizens, has the same goal as the main goal of social studies learning. ApproachProblem-Based Learning (PBL) in social studies teaching can help students develop moral character, which is indicated by the ability of students to recognize, understand, and work to overcome problems faced by countries that are increasingly complex in a global environment.

Abstract

Quality learning is a stipulation to achieve the educational goal. That is why academic supervision is needed, one of the conscious efforts made to improve teacher competence so that teachers can develop a higher-quality learning process. This research aims to determine whether the workshop implementation can increase academic supervision competence so that it contributes positively to improving the learning process. This research used a case study approach. Methods of data collection using observation and interviews. The sample was selected based on purposive sampling. The results of the study indicated that if the workshop activity is carried out based on proper planning and implementation in accordance with the principles of the workshop itself, it can increase the competence of academic supervision to add experience to the supervisor himself. In other words, the supervisors and teachers participating in the workshop activities each gain new knowledge for the teacher and new experiences for the supervisor.

Abstract

This study aims to manage teacher performance in junior high schools by applying a differentiation learning model to optimize students' needs and learning outcomes. The method used in this study is the experimental method, namely by testing the differentiation learning model in students when learning whether it is following the needs of students, then presenting student learning outcomes based on the differentiation model in the independent curriculum. The experimental method aims to improve students' thinking skills in discovering and understanding a concept or theory of the subject being studied. The results showed that the application of the differentiation model to learning Indonesian could improve student learning outcomes and the learning model to be differentiated according to the needs of students, especially in the current implementation of the independent curriculum, which can be seen from the main pattern of meeting 1 with a classification that is quite decent to admirable in the second meeting pattern 2. This study concludes that the differentiation model can be used during learning because it suits the needs of students and can improve student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Every human being is endowed with potential in himself. This potential must be managed correctly to produce academic and non-academic achievements. An achievement is a form of proving the success of learning and mastery of science. Many madrasas have an achievement crisis due to the mismanagement of students’ potential. This study aims to provide new formulations to map students’ potential and develop the potential for achievement. They are taking the pilot of Madrasah Aliyah Negeri (MAN) 2 Malang City as an Islamic educational institution. This research method is field-based with a descriptive qualitative approach, where data is taken from the principal, vice principal for student affairs, and the head of Ma'had there. The results showed that, first, the potential management developed was to trace students’ potential through the acceptance of academic and non-academic achievement pathways according to the vision and character of the madrasah. The next stage is the development of potential: 1) cleaning and integration. Potential finalization results are filtered through unstructured interview test methods and excellent program-based question presentations. This stage produces clusters of science, language, and Islam; 2) pattern recognition. Merit awards evidence clustering based on the school's flagship program; 3) knowledge presentation. In the form of periodic evaluations to ensure that students have been able to achieve achievements. Second, the pattern of potential development is based on Islamic boarding schools, and each cluster has a markaz supported by a laboratory.
