Abstract

The nature of the subgrade plays an important role in road construction. The subgrade can be compacted embankment. The physical and mechanical properties of embankment soil are values ​​or parameters to see the quality requirements. The purpose of this study was to determine the characteristics of the embankment soil as a subgrade. The method used is laboratory testing to obtain the physical and mechanical properties of the embankment soil. Soil samples were taken from Tenayan Raya, Kulim, Pekanbaru City. The results showed that the physical properties of the soil were classified as ML, PI 6.62%, and the mechanical properties of the soil with a CBR value of 17.8%. Conclusion The physical properties of the embankment soil should not contain organic matter and high plasticity. Mechanical properties of embankment soil for CBR value > 10% based on Bina Marga 2018 Revision 2 specifications for selected embankments.

Abstract

The Unggan-Pamusian road is a road that connects Sijunjung and Tanah Datar Regencies. The West Sumatra Provincial Government intends to carry out the construction of the road segment. The purpose of this research is to plan the technical specifications for provincial roads, identify traffic conditions, forecast average daily traffic and plan the pavement thickness design. The method used is the Road Geometric Design Guidelines Number 13/P/BM/2021. The results of the technical planning specifications for provincial roads are adjusted to the standards. The traffic condition of the Unggan-Pamusian road segment is classified as low traffic with a description of the early stages of local roads and can be upgraded to collector roads. Forecasting results obtained average daily traffic of 3,166 vehicles (2021) and 7,482 vehicles (2046). Type of AC pavement with a thickness of AC-WC 40 mm, AC-BC4 60 mm, AC-BC or AC-Base 75 mm, CTB3 150 mm and class A aggregate foundation 150 mm.

Abstract

Mandar River is one of the rivers in West Sulawesi Province which is located in Polewali Mandar Regency and comes from one of the foot of the mountain with a length of about 150 km. The use of Mandar River water, apart from being a source of air for the surrounding community, is also used as a power plant, so that the Mandar River cannot be separated from the lives of some people who live in the border areas of the Mandar River. Over time, activities in the Mandar River border area have increased, especially in the construction of residences and other buildings such as residential buildings. This study aims to identify the use of space in the Mandar River border area and provide recommendations for spatial planning by zoning the use of space in the area and reducing the impact of flooding. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative with spatial analysis. The results of this study are the zoning arrangements for regional activities in the form of conservation areas and border areas, while the zoning of cultivation areas are river conservation areas and agricultural and plantation areas. The border area of ​​the Mandar River for structuring more arrangements is right on the edge, where the area is a flood-prone area with relocation development or river normalization.

Abstract

Almost all regions of Indonesia are geographically vulnerable to natural disasters, earthquake. One way to implement a very long and structurally stable building design in the event of an earthquake or other circumstances is to provide a dilation system for the building. This research was conducted in a multi-storey parking building project at Airlangga University Campus B which applies a cantilever beam dilatation system and will be compared with a two-column dilatation system in terms of cost and time. Cantilever beam dilatation is a structural separation that uses a beam structure with one end having a clamp and the other end is free, while two-column dilatation is a structural separation that uses two columns side by side with a certain distance. From the results of the study, it was found that the cost of structural work with cantilever beam dilatation was Rp. 76,755,100,000, - and for two-column dilatation is Rp. 76.063.550.000,- while the total project time with cantilever beam dilatation is 451 working days, and for two-column dilatation is 447 working days. The application of two-column dilatation is 0.9% more cheaper and four days earlier than the application of the cantilever beam dilatation system.

Abstract

Aspal hotmix adalah satu dari beberapa bagian dari lapis perkerasan konstruksi flexible pavement. Penelitaan bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh kehalusan fly ash cangkang sawit kepada stability, density dan void in mix aspal hotmix. Pada penlitian ini di gunakan parameter penelitian AC – BC. Hasil penelitian pengaruh kehalusan filler abu terbang cangkang sawit terhadap sifat campuran aspalt hotmix AC – BC ditinjau dari Void In Mix dan Density dapat di simpulkan sebagai berikut : Stabilitas : Pada tiap pemakaian variasi kehalusan stabilitas marshall semakin meningkat naik terhadap komposisi normal yaitu 1203 kg, untuk pemakaian variasi kehalusan di zona 1 stabilitas optimum adalah 1239 kg, untuk pemakaian variasi kehalusan di zona 2 stabilitas optimum adalah 1225 kg, dan untuk pemakaian variasi kehalusan di zona 3 stabilitas optimum adalah 1234 kg..Kepadatan Nilai Pada tiap pemakaian variasi kehalusan kepadatan semakin meningkat naik terhadap komposisi normal yaitu 2,316 grm /cc, untuk pemakaian variasi kehalusan di zona 1 kepadatan optimum adalah 2,319 grm/cc, untuk pemakaian variasi kehalusan di zona 2 kepadatan optimum adalah 2,317 grm/cc, dan untuk pemakaian variasi kehalusan di zona 3 kepadatan optimum adalah 2,317 grm/cc. Abstract

The application of knowledge management (KM) using Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology is able to capture, store, and disseminate disaster information in all phases of the tsunami disaster. IoT promises to provide continuous fast data, AI used in several disaster risk management applications promises to automate the analysis and dissemination of potential disaster information, as well as the results of disaster event analysis more accurately and faster. This study aims to develop an AI and IoT-based KM model for tsunami risk management based on the comparative results of previous research. The results of the comparison show that most KM, AI, and IoT research focus on the process of knowledge capture, knowledge store, knowledge sharing and mostly focus on pre-disaster. Some other KM research focuses on KM systems without AI, and IoT on the process of knowledge capture, knowledge store, knowledge sharing and only focuses on the stage of a disaster. There is very limited KM research that simultaneously examines KMS, AI, IoT in all knowledge management processes for all stages of tsunami disaster risk. The results of the comparison utilize to develop AI and IoT-based KM models for all stages of tsunami disaster risk management. This study can be a good guidance for stakeholders on the application of AI-based KM and IoT technology to manage tsunami disaster risk in Indonesia.

Abstract

The era of disruption expanded due to the Covid-19 pandemic in mid-March 2020 globally, including in the transportation sector. An investigation was conducted to identify the characteristics of users of intermodal public transportation and management of intermodal transportation in Cirebon, West Java, Indonesia. The investigative design used mixed methods. The sample with accidental sampling technique was 300 respondents, and 6 transportation experts in Cirebon City. The data were analyzed descriptively and multicriteria decision through AHP. The investigation provides information that: (1) Characteristics of respondents using intermodal transportation are 21-30 years old, male, last education D3/S1, private employee, with income less than 1.5 million per month. (2) Alternative policies that should be taken by the Cirebon City Government in overcoming traffic problems in the Cirebon area are as follows: (a) Revision of Regional Regulation No. 8 of 2016, (b) Development of Mass Transportation Systems. Policy for developing an integrated public transportation system in the form of bus rapid transit. This policy is a step to solve traffic jams that can reduce the use of private vehicles

Abstract

In 2019 the National Standards Agency of Indonesia officially set the earthquake-resistant building planning standard, SNI 1726-2019, revising the previous standard, SNI 1726-2012. Changes in several parameters of earthquake resistance will affect changes in the spectrum response as an earthquake load. This study aims to compare the value of the seismic base shear using the response spectrum method with the application of SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 1726-2019 in 6 cities on the Java Island, namely Banten, Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Yogyakarta, and Surabaya. Structural modeling using SAP 2000 software and the analysis method used is the response spectrum method. The x-direction seismic base shear based on SNI 1726-2019 at 6 locations is 2666,184 ; 2537,047 ; 3225,123 ; 2829,838 ; 3202,125 and 2333,256 kN. The y-direction seismic base shear on SNI 1726-2019 produces 2783,057 ; 2648,228 ; 3366,417 ; 2953,858 ; 3342.421 and 2435.54 kN. The seismic base shear in the x-direction and the y-direction in 6 cities reviewed based on SNI 1726-2019 shows a bigger than SNI 1726-2012. The largest seismic base shear based on SNI 1726-2012 and SNI 1726-2019 in the X-direction and Y-direction are in the city of Bandung, concur to the results of the Response Spectrum calculations of the two regulations, which show the largest value is in the city of Bandung.

Abstract

Quantity take-off menjadi hal yang sangat krusial karena menjadi dasar perhitungan yang berkelanjutan untuk tahap perencanaan. Quantity take-off digunakan untuk perhitungan BoQ atau estimasi biaya. Kesalahan dalam memperkirakan quantity take-off akan menyebabkan penyimpangan biaya dan atau adanya penyimpangan pada volume kebutuhan material. Diperlukan adanya perhitungan quantity take-off dan rencana anggaran biaya (RAB) yang efektif yang dapat dilakukan dengan metode BIM 5D. Penerapan konsep BIM memudahkan dalam ekstraksi quantity take-off langsung dari model 3D hingga kemudian terintegrasi dalam pengolahan estimasi biaya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendapatkan estimasi biaya dengan menerapkan konsep BIM 5D. Menggunakan bantuan software PriMus untuk membuat AHSP dan PriMus IFC untuk ekstraksi quantity take-off. Hasil yang didapatkan dari penelitian ini, bahwa dengan menggunakan konsep BIM 5D estimasi biaya yang dihasilkan terdapat selisih sebesar 7% lebih kecil dari anggaran biaya rencana awal. Hal tersebut terjadi dikarenakan perbedaan detail perhitungan volume pada perencanaan awal secara konvensional yang dihasilkan, serta beberapa diantaranya disebabkan karena data dari perencanaan modeling tidak memodelkan semua elemen konstruksi, yang kemudian muncul tanggung jawab berkelanjutan atas masalah tersebut oleh BIM modeler. Implementasi konsep BIM 5D dapat meningkatkan komunikasi, kolaborasi, dan menciptakan komitmen atau tanggung jawab yang berkelanjutan sehingga proses pengambilan keputusan menjadi lebih cepat dan tepat.

Abstract

Perhitungan manual dalam analisis struktur terbilang rumit, menghabiskan waktu yang lama, dan rentan terjadi kesalahan dalam proses perhitungan. Meskipun sudah ada program analisis struktur yang canggih, tetapi belum tentu pengguna dapat mempelajari cara penggunaan program tersebut dengan mudah dan cepat. Oleh karena itu, dalam tulisan ini dirancang program analisis struktur untuk portal bidang. Tujuannya yaitu untuk membuat program yang diharapkan dapat user friendly sehingga dapat membuat pengguna lebih mudah dalam mempelajari dan menggunakan program tersebut. Program yang dirancang dalam tulisan ini menggunakan metode matriks kekakuan langsung. Program dibuat mengunakan aplikasi MATLAB R2017a dengan tampilan APG (Antarmuka Pengguna Grafis). Kemudian program diuji melalui dua contoh kasus, di antaranya struktur portal 3 batang dan struktur portal 2 lantai. Selain itu, program telah dibandingkan dengan SAP2000 v14. Dalam program ENDSTRIS ini, beberapa fitur yang dibuat yaitu perhitungan reaksi perletakan, gaya-gaya batang, deformasi (perpindahan dan rotasi), diagram momen, diagram geser, diagram normal dan garis elastisitas. Hasil analisis yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan ENDSTRIS tidak berbeda dengan hasil yang didapatkan dengan menggunakan perhitungan SAP2000 v14.
