Abstract

The learning of module system is a model of learning that is designed and arranged in a systematically planned way and aimed to help students and teachers reach for learning goals. This research  aims to know and to describe whether the learning of mathematics by using the module can show the students learning progress  and whether it’s better than conventional models. This research uses a quantitative experimental approach. The population of this research is sixth level students from elementary school  named Daar el Salam in Gunung Putri, Bogor. Then sampling  taken in this research is 30 students by using  purposive sampling method. Instruments used to collect data are: Test and Questionnaire. The data collected will be analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. From the results of descriptive statistical analysis,it  can be known that the interest of students in learning mathematics by using module is very good Then by inferential statistical analysis, it can be found that t count = -20.80 and t table = 2.00. By using  the two-tailed test,it can be seen that the value of  t count is outside the tolerance of acceptance Ho: -2 <t count <2, so that Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted. The conclusion can be taken  that the learning of mathematics with the module system has a very significant impact . Or in the other words, the learning mathematics with the module system is better than the conventional method. Key Word : Impact, Learning of Mathematic, Module

Abstract

See the development of games and multimedia at this time, and reinforced by the weak understanding of the younger generation of Indonesia about the culture of his own country. Therefore, the author took the initiative to create a mobile game that raised one of the culture of the country of Indonesia in general, especially for the provinces contained in the island of Sumatra. In the process of making this game the author uses Adobe Flash Professional Creative Suite 5.5 software for making all the characters, background and sound effects. Because in Flash itself already there are some sound library that can be used for the needs of the application in this game that the author made. For the programming language used the author uses only one programming language that is ActionScript 3.0. this programming language is functional enough to build a game, because it is supported with Object Oriented Programming which facilitate in making this game. In the latest version of Adobe Flash it is now possible to publish data into applications gained in instal on mobile devices, in this case android, making it possible to create android applications without having to abandon actionscript as the programming language used. It is expected that with this game will the user's understanding of cultural diversity in Indonesia, especially the island of Sumatra will be better understood and known

Abstract

An educational institution requires a deeper knowledge for evaluation, making better plan and decision. Some of this knowledge can be extracted from operational data which stored in a database of educational institutions into a Data Warehouse that can be used to support decisionmaking process. The Data Warehouse has a big role in providing strategic information for decision-making process for a Data Warehouse can perform complete data storage and consistent, obtained from various sources that can be used to meet the needs of end users in a business context. This study examined the development of a Data Warehouse model for student academic data so it can dig up the information which is important and also to build a model that can assist strategic in making decision that can improve the daily operations in providing the best service forstudents. The result of this research is a Data Warehouse application complete with a web-based data presentation and desktop. The ultimate goal of this research is to produce a data warehouse model that can support the needs of end users in decision-making by providing strategic information about the academic drawn from a Data Warehouse that can generate accurateinformation and do not take a long time to get that information, so that strategic decisions taken can be more accurate and optimal.Keywords : Data Warehouse, Strategic Decision, Student Academic.

Abstract

In agricultural production, climate elements such as rainfall, humidity and sunlight becomes very important in increasing agricultural production. Climate change is caused by the increasing average temperature at the surface of the earth that cause changes in other climatic elements, such as increased sea surface temperatures, increased evaporation in the air, the changing patterns of rainfall, and air pressure patterns of global climate change. According to the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), climate change occurs gradually and is caused by human activity so the temperature of the earth getting warmer, and change dramatically influencing the increase in evaporation and evapotranspiration leading to the depletion of water availability. Climate change is also indicated by the unequal amount of water in the rainy season and dry season so that agricultural land prone to flooding during the rainy season and drought during the dry season. Climatic conditions is a major obstacle for farmers to maintain crop and even the possibility of crop failure. Therefore, an alternative solution is to farm the current pattern to follow weather patterns by changing the cropping pattern and commodities that will be planted according to climatic conditions and to save rain water. The system is designed utilizing SMS (Short Message Service) is expected to provide immediate information on local weather patterns that occur as well as the best cropping patterns. The farmers can specify what commodities to be grown in that season. So that crop failure is no longer expected to occur, the minimum can be reduced as possible. Keywords : Short Message Service, system, information, climate, realtime

Abstract

 Abstract  –  Knowledge sharing is an important stage of knowledge management cycle after the stage of knowledge creation by individuals or groups that interact and connect an organization. Organizations can save and reuse it as an organizational asset through the media website that has characteristics of system quality, service, science / information is good. Employees will be motivated and contribute to the system to share knowledge if it has a conducive organizational culture. This paper investigates the individual behavior of Trakindo employees to be motivated and able to feel the benefits of sharing knowledge. Data was collected by distributing questionnaires to web user respondents ie www.trakindo.co.id with Number of questionnaires 180 packs but questionnaire returned 133 with percentage of 73.88%. Data were analyzed by the Structural Equation Model (SEM) methodology with AMOS software version 24. The results show that knowledge sharing behavior on individuals / employees on the website is influenced by organizational culture dimensions (such as support, management and reward policies, trusts) and system technical characteristics (such as system quality) and knowledge sharing significantly affecting employee personal benefits

Abstract

The research was conducted to assess what factors can affect the user (in this case students) in using Ms.Visual Foxpro as a program to complete their final project. In addition to knowing how much these factors affect the use of the Ms.Visual Foxpro program. The model used to describe the relationship factors that influence the use of Ms.Visual Foxpro is Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with data analysis using Structural Equation Model (SEM) on the software ANALISYS of Moment Structure (AMOS) version 16.0. Variables used in this study consisted of two variables: exogenous and endogenous. The exogenous variables include the Perceived Number of Users (NoU) and Perceived Ease of Use (PEoU).The endogenous variable include the Perceived Usefulness (PU) and Usage Behavior (UB). The result showed that the factors which have a significant influence on students in using the Microsoft Visual Foxpro for their final project is a Percieved Usefulnes (PU) giving rise to an act or behavior of students using Microsoft Visual Foxpro. The perceived benefits associated with student behavior is the use Foxpro Ms.Visual feel faster, easier and more accurate it so they use it as a program support their Final Project. Keywords : Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), Structural Equation Models (SEM), and Analisys of Moment Structure (AMOS)

Abstract

In a learning process of an e-learning environment, every user has different characteristics of learning style. This difference can be accommodated by utilizing the Adaptive E-Learning System (AES). This system is able to represent learning content suitable with user’s learning style. Developing AES based on the learning style can be done through questionnaire and automatic approach. This study particularly discusses the automatic approach. The use of features, patterns, and limits needs to be considered in developing learning-style based AES automatically. The dimension for the learning style model used in this study is the Felder Silverman Learning Style Model (FSLSM) which consists of active/reflective, sensing/intuitive, visual/verbal, and sequential/global dimensions of learning style. Keywords: features, patterns, limits, adaptive e-learning system, FSLSM learning style

Abstract

Abstrak- Teknologi Informasi telah berkembang sangat pesat dengan berbagai perangkat lunak yang diciptakan hingga perangkat keras yang modern. Perkembangan teknologi dari masa ke masa semakin maju bisa kita lihat diberbagai aspek kehidupan misalnya untuk berkomunkasi dengan orang di dunia luar cukup menggunakan email atau media online lainnya atau untuk melakukan pendaftaran sekolah cukup terkoneksi ke internet dan masuk ke halaman website yang dituju sehingga untuk semua aktivitas yang kita lakukan menjadi lebih mudah dan efisien. Kajian ini bertujuan untuk membangun website sekolah dimana dalam penerimaan peserta didik baru bisa melalui media online dan website ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman java, basis data MySQL, dan Netbeans 8.1 sebagai media editornya. Website ini bisa mempermudah para calon siswa dalam mendaftar sekolah karena cukup terhubung ke internet saja, dan pendaftaran bisa dilakukan dimana saja dan kapan saja. Sekolah pun dalam melakukan pencatatan laporan keungan maupun laporan data penerimaan peserta didik baru lebih mudah karena bisa melakukan pengecekan data pendaftar melalui website secara langsung.

Abstract

Temperature control is the most important thing in destilation process. This research has a purpose to create appliance assist that able to do temperature’s monitoring and controlling function during destilation process. In this research, temperature’s control was applied in bioetanol’s destilation which uses Omron’s PLC type CPM2a. Proportional control design used Ziegler-Nichols method. Proportional control is made based on delphi programming algorithm.Controlling program in delphi connected with destilation plant through PLC. PLC get temperature data from LM35 censor then delivered to controller program in delphi. Controller’s data output will be sent through PLC to control heater power. Change of heater power will influence temperature of destilation plant. Stability of destilator temperature will be used to analysing system performance. The result of this research is the stable destilator temperature controller system between 78 until 80ºC. At the moment, oscilation still happened with steady state error below 3%. 1 litre of raw material can be destilated during one hour and can get about 100 ml etanol with rate 70%.Keywords : Proportional controller, distillation, etanol
