Abstract

Along with the increasingly difficult economic situation and the many demands need to be met  by the community then purchase a house in cash more difficult, especially for people who are middle to lower economic level. Thus, the purchase of subsidized home loans  among  people  becomes  a  very  attractive  option.  Based  on  data  collected  by  an increase  in  the  demand  for  subsidized  housing,  especially  in  the  district  of  Medan Marelan. It can be seen from the increasing property business. Private developers tend to be  more  interested  in  the  property  business  (houses)  in  the  district  of  Medan  Marelan because the area is still beautiful and population growth rates are higher. The high level of competition among developers of property (housing), makes an analysis of the factors that influence  the  decision  of  the  community  in  need  of  subsidized  housing  memebeli  known.This study aimed to analyze and determine whether the factor of location, public revenues, ease  of  access  to  credit,  and  public  facilities,  the  market  price  of  the  home  as  well  as legislation affecting people's decision in the purchase of subsidized  housing in the district of Medan Marelan.The  results  showed  that  the  location  factor  is  the  most  dominant  factor  of  the factors that influence the decision to buy subsidized housing communities in the district of Medan Marelan with a coefficient of determination of 42.1%.Keywords: Purchase Decision Factors

Abstract

AbstrackBased on data Center and Information DIKTI, the number of lecturers who have a degree-1 as many as 21,872 of the total lecturer 2016/2017 as many as 237,837. The impossible requirement to be a lecturer in a study program at a college in Indonesia is to have and to be educated up to strata-2 or stara-3. This study aims to identify any factors that affect lecturer competence by using t test and f test. In this research put forward several factors that are academic qualification, teaching experience and motivation of lecturer. Pursuant to result of this research motivation of lecturer in teaching have significant influence to lecturer competence partially with significant value 0,00 smaller than α = 0,05, and simultaneously academic qualification, teaching experience and motivation have significant influence to lecturer competence with a significance value of 0.00 is smaller than α = 0.05. Keywords: lecturers competence, academic qualification, experience, motivation of lecturer. AbstrakBerdasarkan data Pusat Data dan Informasi DIKTI, jumlah dosen yang memiliki gelar strata-1 sebanyak 21.872 dari total dosen 2016/2017 sebanyak 237.837. Syarat mustahak yang untuk menjadi seorang pengajar pada program studi di perguruan tinggi di Indonesia adalah memiliki dan menempuh pendidikan hingga strata-2 ataupun stara-3. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengindetifikasi faktor apa saja yang mempengaruhi kompetensi dosen dengan menggunakan uji t dan uji f. Dalam penelitian  ini mengemukakan beberapa faktor yaitu kualifikasi akademik, pengalaman mengajar dan motivasi dosen. Berdasarkan  hasil penelitian ini motivasi dosen dalam  mengajar memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi dosen secara parsial dengan nilai signifikan 0,00 yang lebih kecil dari α=0,05, dan  secara simultan kualifikasi akademik,pengalaman mengajar dan motivasi memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi dosen dengan nilai signifikansi 0,00 lebih kecil dari α=0,05. Kata Kunci : Kompetensi Dosen, Kualifikasi Akademik, Pengalaman, Motivasi dosen

Abstract

Word Division is a local shoe brand that uses endorsers in its promotion. One of the endorsers chosen was Yoshiolo but Yoshiolo was better known through promotional content for foreign brands. This study aims to determine the influence of Yoshiolo as an endorser of the Word Division brand image. This study uses this study using a survey approach using questionnaires as a basic data collection tool and generally uses statistical methods. The results of the analysis show that Yoshiolo as an endorser has a positive and significant influence on the Word Division brand image

Abstract

Qualified human resources is a dominant factor for the implementation of good governance, one of which comes from the presence of the Civil Service of the highest integrity. In an effort to improve the integrity of the civil servants , the government has taken various steps which are perfect the system of rewards and punishment . The application of this system is reflected through various instruments such as the provision of benefits ( rewards ) and sanctions (punishment ) . Effective implementation of reward and punishment system is influenced by employee perceptions of the implementation of the system . The main impact is expected from the implementation of reward and punishment system is the formation of employee integrity in performing their duties.Formulation of the problem in this study is whether the employee 's perception of the reward and punishment system is significantly related to the integrity of Sumatra Tarukim Service employee in performing their duties. This study aims to determine the relationship of perception of the civil service system of rewards and punishment to the integrity of Sumatra Tarukim Service employee in performing their duties. This research was conducted at the Department of Spatial Planning and Settlement of North Sumatra Province with a sample of 85 employees . Data were collected through questionnaires .Methods of data analysis performed by linear analysis with the help of SPSS software version 18. The analysis showed that the perception of reward and punishment system and the positive effect that was significant to the integrity of the officials in the Department of Spatial Planning and Settlement of North Sumatra Province

Abstract

The increasing growth of retail products in Indonesia has led to the increasing level of competition in the retail business faced by domestic products. The usefulness of this research is to detect the influence of price levels, service quality and design innovation on purchase loyalty that exists in the Minorfighters brand. The researcher took a sample of 87 respondents using the purposive sampling method. Data collection using questionnaires and interviews. Data is processed using validity test, reliability test, cross tabulation analysis, correlation coefficient, coefficient of determination, simple and multiple regression analysis, and significance test. The results showed that the existence of price factors, service quality and design innovations that positively influence purchase loyalty. Design innovation variables have a greater influence on purchase loyalty. This result is the initial hypothesis of the authors examined in this paper.

Abstract

This research aims does emotional intelligence affect work ethos .The population in this research are 44 employees at PT. Bussan Auto Finance Medan. While the samples submitted is 44 employees at PT. Bussan Auto Finance Medan. To discuss the problems it is done data collection library and field research. The results Data collection was done by analysis statistical methods using data processing via SPSS. It’s found that the determination coefficient R square 0,118 which in this case, 11.8% of the company's work ethic can be explained by variables emotional intelligence. While the rest explained by the other reasons. This means that approximately 11.56% of variable Y is the work ethic can be explained by X in this case emotional intelligence. So 88.44% is not examined. Company should conduct an evaluation and replacement of the order of intelligence the emotional well-working tools and appropriate spatial planning work with the development of technology jobs such as the use of tools workshop were replaced with new ones. In addition to evaluating tools office work, the company should also make improvements to human resources company by way of education and training in accordance with the new technology so they can use it effectively.Keywords: Emotional Intelligence, Work Ethos

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan usaha pembungkusan garam pada CV. Karya Pertiwi Medan. Data diperoleh dari penyebaran kuesioner kepada karyawan usaha pembungkusan garam CV. Karya Pertiwi. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik pengumpulan data yaitu sampling jenuh, dimana semua anggota populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh karyawan di CV. Karya Pertiwi yang berjumlah 35 karyawan. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu uji asumsi klasik. Analisis data menggunakan regresi linier berganda untuk memperoleh gambaran menyeluruh mengenai hubungan antara variabel. Hasil penilitian menunjukkan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan usaha pembungkusan garam pada CV. Karya Pertiwi Medan

Abstract

This study aims to identify and explain the effect of price, promotion and distribution channel partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions. This type of research is explanatory research with quantitative approach. The population of this research is the Honda brand car buyers in the city of Medan with a total sample of 100 people by using simple random sampling technique, questionnaire data used is Multiple Regression.The results showed that the variable product quality, brand image, price and promotion together significantly influence purchasing decisions.T test results showed that each - each variable product quality, brand image, price and promotion jointly significant effect on purchasing decisions.The company should be able to inform the Honda brand car with a better understanding of the variable product quality, brand image, Price and promotion through the sales conversations, so that they are understood in marketing their products.Keywords: product quality, brand image, pricing and promotions, and Purchase Decision

Abstract

PT.  Harmony  Toba  Jaya  is  one  of  the  paint  distributor  with  Sikkens  trademark. Companies  choose  direct  communication  with  consumers  workshops  in  their  marketing communications strategy. This is done because of the increasing number of new paint products on the market so we need a strategy that is relevant to the condition that there is a bottom -up with a marketing strategy where marketers sell products directly to end users or workshop. Based on the above conditions need to be processing data analysis using SWOT analysis (Strength,  Weakness, Opportunity and Threat) from Sikkens paint products through questionnaires given to consumers. Based on the results of the questionnaire processing, can be calculated the value of the X axis and Y axis to determine the position of the company. The value of  the X-  and Y-axis respectively is -0.141 and  -0.100 so that the value of the intersection of the axes X and Y are XY (-0.141;  -0.100). From these  results,  the  company  is  located  in  Quadrant  IV  (negative,  negative).  It  is  necessary  to  get attention  because  in  addition  to  the  weakness  of  the  company  there  are  also  threats  from competitors  that  are  very  dangerous.  Therefore,  recommendations  given  strategy  is  Strategy Defense,  meaning  that  the  internal  conditions  of  the  organization  that  are  in  selection  dilemma. Therefore, organizations are advised to use a survival strategy, the performance of internal control so as not to fall. Abstract

This study aims to identify and test the factors that can affect customer satisfaction and customer loyalty, especially in hotels that apply sharia principles such as Sofyan Hotel Betawi. The subjects of this study were guests staying overnight with a sample size of 170 people who met the research criteria and requirements using a purposive sampling technique. The research design uses quantitative research survey methods, interviews and questionnaires. Data collection tools use a Likert scale as quantitative data. Quantitative data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis using the SEM path analysis method. The results showed that service quality and price perception had a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction by 24.6%. Customer loyalty is influenced by factors of service quality and customer satisfaction positively and significantly by 51.9%.
