The quantitative method is used in this study. Based on the results of factor analysis and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) data processing, using SPSS 23 and SMART-PLS software, the results are: 1) e-commerce technology variables indirectly have a positive and significant effect on customer experience when accessing the e-commerce platform, 2) the e-commerce technology variable has a positive and significant direct effect on customer experience. Abstract

Accelerating national development requires a certain amount of foreign investment. Meanwhile, the state has an obligation to protect local business actors and workers who are clearly “threatened” by the influx of foreign investment. In fact, the entry of foreign investment is often accompanied by the entry of foreign workers (TKA) as one of the conditions for the entry of the intended investment. Ideally, foreign workers who enter Indonesia have higher qualifications than domestic workers so that they can carry out the process of transferring technology and / or transferring knowledge to local workers. In fact, many foreign workers who enter Indonesia do not have adequate qualifications, causing conflicts with local workers. These conflicts generally lead to a salary or wage gap that is not accompanied by superior competence. Based on this, this research is important to do in order to better understand the dilemma of placing foreign workers from the perspective of Human Resources (HR). This research is a descriptive study which analyzed qualitatively using secondary data and primary data. The results of this study are; disharmony between foreign workers and local workers is due to the lack of training for local workers. Meanwhile, the emergence of narrow nationalism among workers is caused by a lack of understanding of different cultures and values

Abstract

Indonesia has confirmed its first case of Covid-19 transmission on March 2, 2020 and since then the transmission of the virus has become more widespread and has created new epicenters. The epicenter always involves a crowd, including in labor-intensive factory areas. This research method uses quantitative-descriptive. Companies that operating labor-intensive require the involvement of large numbers of people. In the production process, the distance between workers is not far apart, thus increasing the risk of virus transmission. The latest case in September 2020, 150 employees of a factory in the city of Purbalingga tested positive for the Covid-19 virus. It is strongly suspected that transmission occurs in the work area through asymptomatic labor. With the continued occurrence of Covid-19 transmission in industrial areas, this article aims to submit a proposal for the application of a risk mitigation design for the risk of Covid-19 transmission in labor-intensive industries using the FMEA method, which includes the layout of the work area, the flow of human movement in the factory area, and the application of health protocols in the hope of helping labor-intensive industries in suppressing and preventing the transmission of Covid-19

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Literacy Rate (LR) and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on Poverty in the Big Cities of Java Island from 2015 to 2019. The population in this study is all people in the poor category in Indonesia. The samples in this study were people who were categorized as poor in the big cities of Java, namely the Special Capital Region of Jakarta, Bandung, Semarang, Surabaya, DIY, and Banten. Data were analyzed using panel data regression (pooled data) with a total sample of 30 data. The data processing tools in this study use Ms. Excel and Eviews no 9. The panel data regression model options include Estimating Common Effect Model (CEM), Fixed Effect Model (FEM), and Random Effect Model (REM). Model selection using Chow Test and Hausmant Test. The results of the two tests recommend researchers use the output of the Fixed Effects Model for hypothesis testing. Results show that the Literacy Rate (LR) has a negative and significant effect on poverty in Big Cities in Java. GDRP doesn’t affect poverty in Big Cities in Java
