<![CDATA[This article aimed to described community development process that held by collaboration between private hospital and university on sreening and education of health towards implementation of healthy lifestyle of community. These activities have been implemented during November 2018 – January 2019. The event was held on Sammarie Basra Hospital, East Jakarta, Jakarta Province. The event involved 100 people as participant of the health education and screening. The program comprised of some activities such as coordination meeting, development of health promotion media which is in this program, we developed 3 different posters that stick on the Hospital, leaflet that given for the participant and video of psychal activity. Health education has been performed by medical doctor and midwive and health screening by hospital healthcare workers. Participants who got some health screening such as blood pressure, cholesterol, puric acid and glucose test. Most of participants were female (72.7%) with age more than 45 years old (50.0%). The nuber of female participants (30.0%) who have high blood pressure were higher than male participants (16.7%) while the number of male participants who have high DM type 2 and hypercholesterol were higher than female participants, respectively 16.7%/64.3% and 5.0%/36.0%.]]>

<![CDATA[The teacher in Bukit Lama Village, Ilir Timur 1 Sub-district, Palembang has been accustomed to using powerpoint media as a tool to implement the Social Sciences learning. However, in its utilization the teacher only describes learning material on powerpoint slides. Teachers cannot yet create master slides for their learning material in an integrated manner by implementing collaborative learning. The purpose of this service is to provide knowledge and to improve teacher skills to create and use powerpoint slide master learning media based on collaborative learning. This service was carried out in Srijaya State High School Palembang, with a target audience of 30 Private High School teachers in Bukit Lama village consisting of Srijaya Negara High School, PGRI 1 High School and Taruna Bangsa High School. The service model used is a model of mentoring with technical assistance methods in making powerpoint slide master learning media based on collaborative learning. Evaluation of activities is carried out by product testing and product assessment. The initial knowledge test results regarding the powerpoint slide master media based on collaborative learning are an average of 7.04, increasing to an average of 8.96 in the final knowledge test. Improved test results by 0.43 in the medium category. Product assessments made by the target audience indicate that the products made are in good category with a value of 77.42%. In conclusion, this dedication activity can provide knowledge and skills for the target audience in making powerpoint slide master learning media based on collaborative learning.]]>

<![CDATA[Pendidikan kejuruan ditujukan untuk memberikan tenaga terampil tngkat menengah. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini diharapkan mampu memberikan keterampilan bagi seluruh guru, terutama untuk mempersiapkan SDM berperan aktif dalam menghasilkan tenaga operator akuntansi untuk memenuhi kebutuhan tenaga administrasi pemerintah daerah dan desa. Peran aktif SMK berupa penambahan penyampaian materi kompetensi akuntansi pemerintah, sehingga lulusannya dapat terserap di pemerintah daerah dan desa. Metode pelaksanaan pengabdian ini dilakukan di SMKN 51 bekerja sama dengan TIM MGMP Jakarta Timur 2 guna meningkatkan pemahaman para guru terhadap siklus akuntansi pemerintah daerah sehingga dapat melakukan pencatatan keuangan dan pelaporan keuangan di instansi pemerintah. Kegiatan ini meliputi 1) pemahaman tentang anggaran pemerintah dan dokumen pendukungnya, 2) siklus akuntansi pemerintahan, 3) pencatatan dan pelaporan keuangan pemerintah daerah dan bahan praktik, 4) pencatatan dan pelaporan keuangan pemerintah daerah dan praktik pembuatan laporan keuangan desa. Pencapaian hasil kegiatan ini adalah 1) Para guru meningkat pemahamannya mengenai pengetahuan siklus akuntansi pemerintahana, 2) para guru memperoleh keterampilan dalam melakukan pencatatan keuangan dan pelaporan keuangan pemerintah daerah dan desa, 3) penguasaan penggunaan teknologi informasi dalam membuat laporan keuangan pemerintah daerah dan desa, 4) didukung penyediaan sarana dan prasarana kegiatan.]]>

<![CDATA[Membangun bangsa melalui pendidikan dengan pendidikan formal sebagai motor utamanya tentu saja harus terus didukung dan dikembangkan termasuk dengan memperkaya kurikulum agar hasil optimal dapat diraih. Sayangnya, pendidikan dengan orientasi hard skill masih begitu dominan dipraktikkan dalam sistem pendidikan nasional kita. Kondisi ini tentu saja akan jauh lebih baik jika diimbangi dengan materi-materi yang bersifat soft skill agar tercipta keseimbangan bagi peserta didik. Pelatihan ini hadir untuk mengisi celah tersebut, dilaksanakan dalam rangka mendukung generasi muda agar tidak hanya cerdas secara akademis melainkan juga secara sosial. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di wilayah Depok –Jawa Barat dengan dihadiri oleh 37 orang pemuda dengan komposisi 23 orang laki-laki dan 14 perempuan dengan kisaran usia antara 15 - 23 tahun. Berdasarkan isian biodata peserta diperoleh komposisi peserta yaitu 21 orang mahasiswa S1, tiga orang berpendidikan setara diploma dan telah bekerja, 10 orang masih duduk dibangku SMA sederajat, dua orang masih SMP dan satu orang anak putus sekolah. Materi-matieri yang disajikan dalam pelatihan diharapkan dapat mendorong mereka untuk mengenali dan memanfaatkan potensi yang dimiliki agar dapat meraih prestasi lebih tinggi.]]>

<![CDATA[Learning is the process of delivering knowledge that can influence and play an important role in determining a person's learning success. In this case, learning has a close relationship with learning methods and strategies. In order for the learning process to run effectively, a learning strategy is needed. So a teacher must plan and design learning strategies by applying learning models with the aim of facilitating students in the learning process. In addition, the confidence of a student is very important to support the learning process. On the one hand, there are still many students who have fewer communication levels, with the use of EYD which is also lacking. Judging from the experience, the application of discovery learning is applied. Discovery learning is one of the learning models that is oriented towards students wherein the learning process the teaching staff is a facilitator who directs students to find a concept or principle regarding the existing problems. Thus, students are encouraged to play an active role in the learning process. Therefore students must be trained to be skilled and independent and think critically about existing problems, this can be obtained through the Student Central Learning learning model. In addition to practicing students must also evaluate themselves on what things should get more attention so they can maximize their potential.]]>

<![CDATA[This home creative industry is a new entrepreneur which makes deo active (deodorizer) in Pisang Candi village, Malang city. Trying to make simple and useful products by using simple equipment. Therefore it is necessary to be improved from the aspect of knowledge and skill, so that resulting in a quality fragrance product and able to compete in the market. The problems experienced by this partner are quite significant, such as packaging and label design that is less interesting, and then do not yet understand information technology to increase sales of fragrance product. the purpose of this program to improve product quality of fragrance product (deo active) like a deodorizer in Pisang Candi Village, Malang City. The method in this program is carried out comprehensively which is able to inventory the development of mindset in entrepreneurship, provide business facilities and equipment, and marketing through mentoring programs. The results of this program are partner products get better after being designed, the marketing process becomes more effective when through an online marketing system using e-commerce platforms in Indonesia so that increasing sales turnover of product.]]>

<![CDATA[The Global Value Chain is an easy way to apply to Small and Medium Enterprises (UKM: Usaha Kecil Menengah) so that they can immediately rise to a higher level. The success of the GVC method can be applied to export-oriented UKM. The goals to be achieved in the community service program Upgrading Export-Oriented Coconut Shell Charcoal Briquettes are as follows: spurring the growth of UKM product exports in Indonesia through competitive market growth, improving management quality of UKM to enter the global market through improving product quality and marketing, accelerating technology transfer and community management of universities to UKM communities, developing synergies between UKM, Universities, Local Governments and the community. The methodology used is upgrading the production process through coordination and scientific discussion, training and simulation, making tools with technology transfer for production efficiency, health checks, and providing tools and facilities to improve employee health. The results of this activity are: increasing the percentage of export volume by expanding production units and adding employees, achieving production efficiency through the technology of permanent conveyor belt machine transfer and oven, forming financial management with Zahir accounting software, training on the use of fire extinguisher and first aid to the employees who get burned, checking employee health, increasing marketing knowledge capacity with English language courses to improve the quality of presentations.]]>

<![CDATA[Abstract Curriculum years 2013 on administration program offices, there are competence Archive electronically (e-filing). Capaiannya very clear, that it now required the management of electronic archives. Electronic media in the management of the archives will be obtained benefits of speed, convenience and cost-efficient. The intent here is to speed through the use of electronic media in the management of the archives. The results of the activities of the training and mentoring of the learning model of e-filing is the average of the results of the respondents stating that 92% of the material provided in this training is very important and as much as 90% of the e-filing training participants hope can apply innovation in learning in a class of one e-filing into a medium of instruction. <![CDATA[Increasing the number of tourists to Harapan Island in the Kepulauan Seribu triggers an increase in the number of homestays. But there are still many homestays that do not meet operational standards. The purpose of empowerment is to increase the capability of homestay owners in meeting business standards. The analytical method used is a method of self reflection. The participants are guided by the facilitators for self-reflection on the homestay and its management. Most homestays have two rooms. Most homestays are separate from where the owner lives, only a few offer homestays with the owner. Most homestays do not have signage, do not provide kitchen facilities for guests, and have no complaint records. The majority of homestay owners have not yet attended homestay and ‘sapta pesona’ training. The interaction between homestay owners and guests is relatively low because most guests book rooms through travel agents. Therefore, most homestay owners do not record guest identity. Most homestay owners also do not have a special room for administrative activities, and do not do regular guest and financial administration activities. The capabilities of homestay owners in meeting business standards vary so that empowerment activities are strongly recommended.]]>
