Abstract

The role of cadres is very large in the implementation of Posyandu, some of their responsibilities are monitoring the growth and development of children and toddlers, providing health education to mothers and children, so that people know and are able to practice what needs to be considered in handling children, pregnant women or mothers. If the cadres are not active, the implementation of the posyandu will also be not smooth and as a result the nutritional status of infants or toddlers cannot be clearly detected early. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between cadre motivation and cadre activity in the implementation of posyandu. The design of this study used a cross sectional design. The population in this study were all Posyandu Cadres in the Work Area of the Menteng Health Center with a total sample of 55 respondents. The sampling method used is total sampling. The research data was taken using a questionnaire. After tabulating the existing data, it was analyzed using the Chi Square analysis test. The results showed that there was a relationship between cadre motivation and cadre activity in implementing posyandu during the pandemic in the Work Area of the Menteng Health Center UPT, Palangka Raya City (with a P value of 0.000 <a 0.05). Therefore, the Menteng Health Center and the Palangka Raya City Health Office need to increase the role of cadres through cadre training.

Abstract

The used of antibiotics to control bacterial growth has a negative impact such as antibiotics resistance. Began to look for alternative materials from nature, including saponins, flavonoids, catechins and tannins which are known to be contained in the roots of Tawas Ut (Ampelocissus rubiginosa Lauterb). This plant has been used empirically by the people of Central Kalimantan, namely as a medicine for wounds and diarrhea. The efficacy of alum root has not been scientifically proven. The antibacterial properties of this plant have the potential as a source of antibacterial compounds for the growth of E. coli and S. aureus in vitro. The research method used was the Kirby Bauer Antibacterial Testing method. The ethanol extract of alum ut root has antibacterial activity against E. coli and S. aureus, with an extract concentration of 250 mg∙ml-1 giving the highest average clear zone value of 12.33 mm in E. coli and S. aureus, and was able to give a clear zone with the lowest concentration of 12.5 mg∙ml-1 of 11.33 mm in E. coli and 11.67 mm in S. aureus. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) of ut alum root ethanol extract on E. coli and S. aureus was 15.6 mg∙ml-1.

Abstract

Stone size affects the stone free after (Extracorporeal Shock Wave Lithotripsy) ESWL. The larger the stone size is negatively correlated with the stone free. One of the efforts that can be done is to do ESWL again. The purpose of this study was to determine the correlation between kidney stone size and the frequency of ESWL performed in patients with kidney stones. This study used an observational analytic design with a cross sectional retrospective approach with a sample of 68 people obtained by consecutive sampling. Data were collected using secondary data (medical records) and analyzed using the pearson product moment correlation. The results of the pearson product moment correlation test with = 0.05 showed a significant correlation between the size of kidney stones and the number of ESWL performed with value = 0.000 with a value of r = 0,657. The Conclusion of this study is there is a significant correlation between kidney stone size and the frequency of ESWL performed. The larger the size of the kidney stones, the greater the number of ESWL therapy performed.
