Abstract

Social media is becoming a popular channel for influencers to share information and recommendations about investment decisions in the capital market. However, this also creates a risk of misleading advice and investment scams for investors who need more financial literacy. The Indonesia Stock Exchange, social media users, and influencers should collaborate to prevent capital market crime and promote investment education. This study explores the challenges and opportunities of using social media as an alternative to capital market education programs. It also aims to formulate appropriate capital market educational strategies and identify the characteristics of capital market-qualified influencers on social media. We used a qualitative approach with a content analysis method and semi-structured interviews. The research subjects are influencers on social media selected using a purposive sampling method. We propose a strategic management process tailored for effective capital market education through social media based on the research findings. The results of this study provide recommendations for investors to refer to information from qualified influencers and regulators.

Abstract

The current study attempts to analyze the effect of the reward system (intrinsic and extrinsic) on job satisfaction and in-role performance. Moreover, the expected effect of job satisfaction and in-role performance was also tested. This research focuses on all permanent lecturers at private universities in Makassar under the Institute for Higher Education Services Region IX (LLDIKTI IX). Self-administered online questionnaires were designed and distributed to respondents who met the judgment sampling criteria. The 220 respondents were determined as primary data and then tested with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis based on partial least squares (PLS). The founding statistically stated that intrinsic rewards positively and significantly affect lecturer in-role performance and job satisfaction. Extrinsic rewards have a significant effect on in-role performance but are not significant on lecturer job satisfaction. Furthermore, the mutual relationship between in-role performance-job satisfaction was confirmed and supported. These findings provide the latest insights into productive human resource planning strategies in higher education in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between Gross Domestic Product (GDP), Import (IMP), Inflation (INF), and Unemployment (UNP) in South Korea using the panel vector error correction model (VECM), cointegration, and Granger. VECM is used to analyze the relationship or causality between variables involved in this research in the short and long run. From the estimation results, especially on the variables of interest, there is a positive and statistically significant relationship between Gross Domestic Product, Import, Inflation, and Unemployment, which refers more to short-term causality. Impulse Response Function analysis is used to determine the impact between variables where the results that had a positive effect during the Covid-19 pandemic were import shocks to GDP and unemployment shocks to GDP, while those that had a negative impact were inflation rate shocks to GDP in South Korea during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Environmental degradation is a global issue that invites attention from various groups, including small and medium enterprises (SMEs). To preserve the environment and build a sustainable business, it is necessary to optimize environmentally friendly resources. Green intellectual capital, which includes green human capital, green structural capital, and green relational capital, can be practiced by SMEs in maintaining sustainable business. The research aims to empirically prove the influence of green intellectual capital on sustainable SMEs. The research adopted a quantitative method with a self-administered survey. The research sample consisted of 157 respondents who were SMEs in Madiun of Indonesia. Furthermore, the data were analyzed using Smart-PLS 3.0 to prove the hypothesis. The results show that green human capital and green relational capital do not have a significant influence on sustainable SMEs. Meanwhile, green structural capital has a significant influence on sustainable SMEs. This implies that SMEs must pay attention to the internal organizational management system in practicing environmentally businesses.

Abstract

This study aimed to identify the intellectual capital (IC) influencing university students in pursuing digital innovation businesses. This study is urgent due to the lack of research on intellectual capital (IC) in Indonesia. Despite having sufficient background knowledge and education, the younger generation predominantly aims to become employees rather than entrepreneurs. This research involved a sample of 312 students from nine universities in Indonesia. The research employed a quantitative approach, utilizing data analysis, namely the Structural Equation Model (SEM). The results indicate that the components of intellectual capital, specifically knowledge and skills, the ability to recognize opportunities, and networks, exert a significant and positive influence on the creation of new digital businesses. The variable level of education exerts no influence. Students are expected to demonstrate improvement. This study recommends government action to enhance development, training, promotion, and communication with current entrepreneurs. Future research should focus on IC studies, particularly in other developing countries.

Abstract

Educational changes present significant challenges and opportunities for organizations to grow and develop in response to evolving demands. These changes become opportunities when accompanied by appropriate behaviors at both individual and organizational levels. This study aims to examine the impact of transformational leadership on innovative behavior based on previous studies. A meta-analysis method was employed to analyze research data using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) software. The findings indicate that 89% of studies meeting the inclusion criteria reported a significant effect size. The placement of square boxes in the forest plot, which do not align in a straight line, suggests variation in the results among these studies. Furthermore, the average effect size of 0.338 represents the overall influence of transformational leadership on the innovative behavior of teachers or lecturers. The heterogeneity test of effect size confirms that the estimation model applied follows a random-effects model. The highest average effects were observed in five categories: international teachers (ES = 0.55), junior high school teachers (ES = 0.39), senior high school teachers (ES = 0.32), lecturers (ES = 0.30), and elementary school teachers (ES = 0.16).).

Abstract

The development of villages based on leading product potential is crucial for optimizing local resources and fostering sustainable economic growth, particularly in Kudus Regency, which is a prominent manufacturing industry agglomeration in Indonesia. This study aims to map regional leading products at the village level and formulate development strategies based on empirical commodity clustering approaches. The study employs a qualitative research design incorporating focus group discussions (FGD), questionnaires, with participatory approach, conducted in stages with 200 key informants, including government officials, community leaders, and business actors. The findings reveal that phased strategies and product clustering are effective in enhancing village competitiveness and addressing socio-economic disparities. Specifically, the identification of leading products and their integration into development plans, supported by diversified processing and integrated marketing strategies, significantly improve economic resilience. The study recommends that policymakers facilitate participatory planning, invest in infrastructure and market access, and promote technological innovation to maximize the impact of village development initiatives. These findings underline the importance of aligning village potentials with regional and national strategies to achieve holistic and sustainable growth.
