Abstract

The general problems found in the program partners were the lack of community participation in development, the lack of community knowledge and skills in managing natural resources, the lack of comprehension of village governance and tourism managers in utilizing the potential of mangrove tourism villages, and the lack of comprehension of environmental conservation to protect mangrove forest habitats. The solution offered through the KKN-PPM program were to increase community participation through empowering rural communities, especially for women and the elderly widows who are not economically productive institutionalized through the "The Pakatau", efforts to increase the ability of mangrove ecotourism governance were carried out training to increase the capacity of mangrove ecotourism management for village officials and tourism managers. The efforts to increase the human development index in the field of improving the economy, welfare, and health. Therefore efforts were made to increase the knowledge and skills of processing mangrove fruits into superior products of the village and training on environmental preservation of mangrove forests. To achieve those goals, several activities are offered by the KKN-PPM program such as the institutionalized of the community through "The Pakatau" community learning groups, tourism management training for tourism managers, training for making superior village products for women and elderly widows who are not economically productive, and the promotion of environmental preservation and values in interacting with tourists, as well as several other supporting programs. The expected output targets achieved this program such as the increasing of community comprehension and skills, village governance, and tourism managers in managing, processing and maintaining mangrove habitats as a source of income for the community and village.

Abstract

Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Sodohoa is an area with high levels of pollution every day in Kendari. So far there has not been any attempt to control the problems caused by the production of fishery by-products. This case has become a problem point that will be solve in the Community Partnership Program assistance. The aim of the activity is to improve community knowledge and skills through the utilization of fishery by-product into organic fertilizer so as to increase the use and economic value of the by-product. The program began with discussion with partner groups and the local community involved in fish trading activities at the Tempat Pelelangan Ikan Sodohoa through forum group discussion. The methods used in resolving the problems of partner groups are (1) counseling and improving skills in processing of fishery by-product into organic fertilizer, (2) coaching and mentoring, and (3) dissemination to farmer Subur Makmur. The Pabalu Balu partner group has been able to make organic fertilizer with a simple method processing and has been tested on the Subur Makmur partner group. We hope that they can switch to using organic fertilizer from fishery by-product as a substitute for artificial fertilizer that so far they have often used.

Abstract

The Village Fund Allocation which is allocated to finance the Village Government program in the implementation of the Village Fund Allocation. Also, there is the issue of accountability that is still low in the capacity of village government officials in mastering Technology, Management, and Services to the community. Problems in Participatory matters where the approved Village Fund Allocation program could not be implemented properly due to the low level of community participation. The Implementation Method consists of preparation and briefing, implementation and a sustainability plan. The results of the implementation of the KKN-PPM are the creation of regulations, accountability, and participation in the management of village allocation funds, and also the availability of information boards related to income and village assistance funds. Socialization of village grant funds and financial management seminars has been conducted to the community and village government, the results obtained from the district government to the community in terms of approval and accountability, encourage community participation in the implementation of the village fund program, and the availability of information boards for the receipt and release of village funds.

Abstract

The purpose of this PKM activity is to increase partners' knowledge and skills in carrying out milkfish product processing activities in Tekolabbua Village, Pangkajene District, Pangkep Regency. Specific targets that will provide and increase the participation of all components of the community in making processed milkfish products into thornless milkfish, presto milkfish, and shredded milkfish. Mitra has the skills to do a business of milkfish products to become thornless milkfish, presto milkfish, and shredded milkfish. The methods used in achieving these objectives are: (1) Conducting counseling on processed milkfish products into thornless milkfish, presto milkfish, and shredded milkfish. The method used is the method of lectures, discussions and questions and answers, (2) conducting training to make milkfish products into milkfish without thorns, presto milkfish, and shredded milkfish. The method used is the method of discussion, question, and answer, demonstration, demonstration, and training. The planned activities to be carried out are (1) discussing the knowledge of making milkfish processed products into thornless milkfish, presto milkfish and shredded milkfish and marketing management, (2) conducting training to make milkfish processed products into thornless milkfish products. presto, and shredded milkfish. The results that will be achieved in the empowerment of farmer groups in the milkfish product processing business are formed independent farmer groups to improve better quality.

Abstract

One of the weaknesses of farmers in Indonesia is related to the problem of managing their farming business. Farmers usually carry out their business activities as part of the way of life so that the management processes are not passed as they should, both from the planning, organizing, implementing and controlling stages of the business. Likewise with farmers in the Tonggoh Factory Village, Cintanagara Village, Cigedug District, Garut Regency. With this background, this community service is carried out. Using the training method, changes in both the knowledge and management skills of the trainees can be measured. After participating in training activities, partner knowledge increases with an understanding of the management function (POAC). Necessary formation of Women Farmers Group as a supporter of management and play a role in the diversification of processed potato products.

Abstract

Petani bawang merah di kabupaten Enrekang tersebar hampir disetiap Kecamatan salah satunya adalah di kecamatan Baraka. Bawang merah yang dihasilkan sangat berlimpah tetapi sayangnya hal ini tidak cukup menopang perekonomian para petani tersebut, ini disebabkan oleh lemahnya nilai kreatifitas dikarenakan terbatasnya ilmu pengetahuan dan pemanfaatan teknologi, pemasaran bawang yang masih secara tradisonal dengan mengandalkan pasar lokal mingguan dan para pengepul sehingga harga jual relatif rendah Tujuan yang ingin dicapai pada kegiatan ini adalah menumbuhkan semangat berkreatifitas para tani demi meningkatkan nilai kesejahteraan ekonomi. dengan cara pelatihan serta pembimbingan demi melahirkan produk dan semangat jiwa usaha, dimulai dari tinjauan peluang pasar, teknik promosi penjualan pasar baik cara modern serta on line didukung dengan manajemen yang baik dan pengelolaan keuangan yang akuntabel. Adapun Sajian produknya yaitu bawang goreng dengan menggunakan teknologi sederhana berupa Multy Cutters sebagai alat memotong dan mesin spinner sebagai alat penapis minyak. Kegiatan yang dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu : (1) tahap sosialisasi program, (2) tahap pelatihan pemberdayaan kelompok ibu tani, (3) tahap pengembangan keterampilan dan (4) tahap monitoring serta evaluasi. Hasil yang dilakukan ddalam Kegiatan ini dapat menambah pengetahuan dan keterampilan serta dapat meningkatkan pendapatan ekonomi warga.

Abstract

Goat livestock business that is carried out by the community has the potential as a source of income, but it is still considered a sideline because agricultural business is still the main focus. The agricultural business undertaken is still dependent on chemical fertilizers which are fairly expensive steps in Kompang Village. In addition, public knowledge of the dangers of chemical fertilizers is very minimal or even practically nonexistent. Likewise, the knowledge of the utilization of goat waste in the form of feces or urine has not been utilized as sufficient organic fertilizer. Knowledge and pregnancy enhancement are carried out with counseling methods and training in processing goat waste in the form of goat urine. The activities carried out are the preparation stage in the form of a location survey, the distribution of questionnaires to see the initial knowledge of farmers/breeders, the provision of material or training on wastewater treatment, and the direct simulation of how to make organic liquid fertilizer. The preparation phase of tools and materials that will be needed in the process of making organic liquid fertilizer (POC). The next step is the procedure for making POC. The last stage is the harvesting of POC, packaging, and marketing of POC that has been produced. The output of this community service is the utilization of livestock waste in the form of goat urine as liquid organic fertilizer. Farmers and livestock enthusiastically participate in this activity so that their knowledge and understanding of integrated livestock waste management.

Abstract

The women's empowerment program is the most important sector that must be considered in national development. Great women must have expertise at least in politics, economics, religion, law, and education so as not to become subordinates in the life of the state. Strengthening the status of women's position is contained in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, an effort made in improving the standard of living of society by providing knowledge and skills to create empowered women. Through the women's empowerment program which is carried out together with UMKM Mutiara Timur partners, this is a form of concern about gender equality. Some of the problems faced by partners are as follows: 1) the product produced is only grated; 2) raw materials that are not available at any time due to lack of information obtained about catfish cultivator producers; 3) marketing systems that still rely on distributors and message production; and 4) non-standard product packaging. Efforts made in advancing the business carried out with four approaches, namely (1) providing training in the diversification of catfish preparation; (2) providing training and assistance to collaborate with farmers in Makassar and surrounding areas; 3) provide marketing management training and provide access to modern markets so that their products are known; and 4) provide product packaging training. Transforming the knowledge and skills provided to couples can increase family economic income. The results of the implementation of activities in the form of mentoring cooperation with marketing partners, business licenses, and suppliers (breeders) of catfish around Makassar.
