Abstract

ABSTRACT Waste of activated sludge resulted by Dr. Sardjito Hospital needs to be used as a stimulator in order to get a lot of compost. Therefore, it needs other materials as a basic material for composting namely leaf litters taken from the hospital’s park. The objective of this research was to know the differences of time, pH, temperature and Nitrogen, Phosphat and Kalium content of compost with addition of EM-4 and activated sludge waste. Method of this research was experiment with posttest only control group design. Population of this research was all leaf litters taken from park of RSUP Dr. Sardjito weighting of 40 kg. Samples were 27 kg litters; EM-4 and active sludge waste treatment. Every experiment was repeated 3 times. Statistical test used in this research was One-way ANOVA. Result of the research indicated that there were differences of time and temperature but there was no difference pH between compost added with EM-4 and activated sludge waste, whereas there was a significant difference of NPK content between compost added with EM-4 and activated sludge waste. Results of laboratory test on EM-4-added compost indicated average content of N=1,17%, P=0,127%, and K=0,79%. Whereas on activated sludge waste-added compost contained average content of NPK as much as 2,28%; 0,217% and 1,993%. As a suggestion, Dr. Sardjito Hospital needs to use leaf litters as compost and waste of activated sludge as a stimulator. In addition, the resulted compost could be sold. Abstract

The filariasis is a main problem of health in indonesia. It is caused by the infection of filaria worm and is infected by all kinds of mosquitos. The Fillariasis spreads in almost provinces in Indonesia. Based on the territory program report and research reslut (rapid mapping) in 2000 there were 6.233 people which had chrinic case that spread over 1553 villages in 647 local government cliniscs, 26 province as an endemic area. Pekalongan regencys is the endemic Fillariasis area. The determining on the endemic area is based on microfilaria rate (Mf Rate). According to the blood result of fingers which was done in 2002 until 2006 in 7 sub district, there were 3 sub districts with rate >1% they were Wiradesa (1,4%), Tirto (1,14%) and Wonokerto (1,23%). Count of Filariasis sufferer which was reported by health department Pekalongan regency from 2002 until 2006 were 44 sufferer which spreads over in 10 subdistricts. This research was done to get to know the factors which influenced to Filariasis genesis in Pekalongan regency and the factors individual characteristics (age, sex, occupation, income, education and citizen status), environment factors (condition of vector resting places, condition of brood places, existance of reservoir, existance of cattle and ever lived with the sufferer) and behaviour (knowledge, attitude, habit of going out at night, the protection effort of mosquito bite and the efforts to eliminate mosquito nest). This study uses case control design. The sample taking technique was base on fixed disease sampling. It also used the analysis unvariate, bivariate and multivariate. The research result showed that the factors whisch influenced to Fillariasis genesis were the unwell attitude (OR=11,602 with 95% Cl = 1,2020 - 111,962) and not doing the elimination mosquitos nest (OR = 14,323 with 95% Cl = 3,278 - 55,028). While the dominant factors which influenced was not doing the ellimination of mosquitos nest OR = 14,323 with 95% Cl = 3,728-55,028 meant that someone who didnt eliminate mosquitos nest would have a risk 14 times greater to have the Filariasis compared with someone who eliminate teh mosquitos nest. From the research result it is better to elliminate the mosquitos nest by cleaning the water plants, filling the flooded area, cleaning the drain, flowing the flooded area, making the drain for garbage disposal, cleaning the bushes and not hanging teh dirty clothes.

Advice for pregnant women should alter the pattern of consumption of tea or coffee drinks that can inhibit the absorption of iron by replacing materials consumed a drink containing vitamin C so it can accelerate the process of iron absorption. Abstract

ABSTRACTIn 2013 there were three leptospirosis cases reported in Boyolali. This study aimed to describe the epidemiology of leptospirosis including cases overview aboutperson, place and time, transmission history, the trap success in catching mice and rats, and species of Leptospira infected rodent in Ngemplak and Nogosari district, Boyolali. This study was a cross sectional study. Rodent traping conducted at three locations with leptospirosis cases in Ngemplak and Nogosari District, Boyolali, in April 2013. A total of 300 traps wereinstalled, 2 traps inside and 2 traps outside for each house during three days. The trapped mice and rats were identified, counted their population density and their kidneys were taken for Leptospira examainationusingPCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) assay. Data were processed and analyzed descriptively, presented in a frequency distribution form. The result showed that transmission of leptospirosis may occured around the case’ house, the river and rice fields. The highest rodentsuccess trapwas found in KismoyosoVillage (14 %). Rat species which were found consisted of R.tanezumi, and R. indica Bandicota argentiventer, there was no rat kidney samples infected with Leptospira bacteria according to PCR assay. Leptospirosis transmission in Boyolali should be noteddue to the high rat trap success and the location which was closed to the river . Abstract

ABSTRACT The cost of outpatient care unit of the organization's first level health centers in Banyumas higher than the tariffs imposed at this time. The result is still needed government subsidies to cover operational costs shortage of health service delivery level of the first outpatient clinic. The results Kurniawan and Intiasari (2010) shows the average willingness to pay the community is still low. This prompted research to find out what factors affecting willingness to pay outpatient services at Puskesmas in Banyumas district. This study was survey research with explanatory research. The approach in this study using cross-sectional. The study population was people who visit the Puskesmas in 2009. The sample of this study some 105 people, with a minimum sample size formula. The result of this research shows ATP has a diverse community with an average of Rp. 21908.63 ATP and WTP are varied with an average WTP of Rp. 3770.00. There is a relationship of age, ATP, and food expenditure by the public willingness to pay tariffs outpatient clinic services. There is no relationship between level of education, gender, occupation, non-food expenditure by the public willingness to pay tariffs outpatient clinic services. There are the influence of age together and ATP on the willingness of society to pay tariffs at Puskesmas. As suggestion for Puskesmas can prioritize community with the productive age group and a high ATP as outpatient service utilization. Puskesmas should consider the community that has a low ATP but has a higher WTP in order to take advantage of outpatient clinic services. Keywords: Kemauan membayar , Puskesmas Kesmasindo.
