Abstract

Tourism is the leading sector that positively impacts developments in all lines, both in socio-culture, especially economic growth. However, there is a gap between the tourism sector in the pre-pandemic period and during the pandemic. This is due to a significant decrease in the number of tourists. Therefore, there is a need for innovation that is no longer at the traditional level in developing Indonesian tourism but takes the digitalization path to enter the internet base. This study aims to create a new model for the development of digital tourism in the national scope. Meanwhile, the adopted library uses the AIDDA Model, developed by Kotler and Keller (2009) by adding internet elements to the model universe. The method used is descriptive qualitative, while the data analysis technique in this study is taken from the way disclosed by Miles Huberman et al. (1994). This research results that the application of digital tourism development is not only a mere issue but must be realized concretely along with the fulfillment of facilities and infrastructure related to the internet as the primary medium. The AIDDA model that was developed was then adopted as a prototype in conducting tourism marketing. The tourism digitization targets in this model are Awareness, Interest, Desire, Decision, Action to encourage tourists to explore more of the new destinations offered. As a result, tourists are not only enabled to enjoy natural attractions but also presented with a lot of educational information that is not widely disclosed when traveling independently, based on the internet.

Abstract

This study aims to: 1) identify and analyze the perpetrators of traditional Jambi Malay traditional food MSME in competing to market their products online through SWOT analysis; 2) knowing and analyzing alternative online marketing strategies by traditional Jambi food MSME actors after knowing their competitive advantage position through SWOT matrix analysis; and 3) knowing and analyzing the role of traditional Jambi food MSME in improving the economy. To reveal these objectives, the researchers used qualitative research methods with a case study approach. The key informants in this study were the perpetrators of traditional Jambi food MSME in Jambi City who were taken by snowball sampling consisting of 11 key informants. Data sources or key informants are selected based on research needs. The results of the study show that: 1) The perpetrators of traditional Jambi food MSME in competing in marketing their products online through a SWOT analysis are divided into two analyzes, namely IFAS and EFAS; 2) alternative strategies, namely 1) Developing the potential for inferior product attractiveness in this case traditional Jambi food which has various types of food, 2) maintaining the authenticity and quality of Jambi traditional food products, 3) Increasing promotion of Jambi traditional food through strategies other online marketing apart from Instagram accounts, 4) setting quality standards for Jambi traditional food products, 5) monitoring the quality of Jambi traditional food products, 6) be honest and improve the quality of service, and 7) increasing offerings of Jambi traditional food products; 3) The role of Jambi Traditional Food MSME in Improving the Economy, namely 1) opening job opportunities for people who need work, 2) as a legacy business from generation to generation so that it becomes a relay for improving the family economy; 3) can increase revenue and; 4) provide education for family members and workers and their children from the results of this MSME business.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate (1) material completeness, includes a short interpersonal text, transactional text and functional text, (2) material depth, includes the exposure, retention and production, and 3) the life skill development, includes personal skills, social skills, academic skills and vocational skills. Within the scope of the current study, it was analyzed an English textbook used by the tenth graders of Vocational High School. The research method used in this study was descriptive qualitative following four systematic steps, namely deciding on the subject, referring the criteria of English textbook analysis, applying the criteria by using checklist and interview, and analyzing the textbook. The data were gathering in this research through the checklist and interview containing the criteria of textbook analysis.  Checklist used to gain the early data then interview used to gain the data in depth from the participant. The data were analyzing in this research through impressionistic overview and depth evaluation. As expected, the current study found that that “Bahasa Inggris” textbook has made the criteria of a good textbook in term of material completeness, which is fulfill a short interpersonal text, transactional text and functional text. In the material depth, it fulfills the exposure, retention and production.  Whereas in life skill development, the textbook provides the personal skills, social skills, academic skills and does not fulfill the vocational skill.

Abstract

UKM Batik Tulis New Colet Jombang produces three types of batik, namely hand-written batik, stamped batik, and semi-written batik. The problem occurs when batik sales decline due to the Covid-19, so it requires planning a marketing strategy to increase sales in the new normal era. The study aims to determine the internal and exsternal factor in UKM Batik Tulis New Colet Jombang, planning a marketing strategy using SWOT, BCG, and QSPM methods. Internal factors consist of strengths and weaknesses, while external factors consist of opportunities and threats. The results of the SWOT matrix can be seen that difference between internal factors is 1,95 and eksternal factors is -0,19. This shows that position of SMEs in quadrant IV and requires a W-T (Weaknesses-Threats) strategy. The BCG matrix in the dogs position, meaning that sales level is low at 3,25% and has a market share of 0,97 times of the competitor. Furthermore, alternative strategy QSPM method that gets highest TAS score of 4,4 is alternative 1, which means that the SMEs must innovate products with creative motivies.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the strategy of the Department of Industry in Improving Industrial Development in Samarinda City. The data collection technique in this study was obtained using the Purposive Sampling technique. The data analysis used in this study is qualitatively descriptive which aims to describe in depth the strategy of the Industrial Service in Improving Industrial Development in Samarinda City. Interactive model data analysis, which begins with data reduction, data presentation, data condensation, and conclusion drawing/verification. The results of this study show that the Samarinda City Industrial Office has carried out efforts with technical guidance, improving local bran, improving packaging, establishing permit and halal regulations. This can be seen to provide motivation and skill improvement for Small and Medium Industry personnel.

Abstract

Management has a broad meaning. There are many definitions of management theoretically. For example, according to Terry (2008), management is a process consisting of actions that include planning, organizing, driving, and controlling carried out to determine and achieve the goals set using human resources and other sources. This research is expected to provide benefits both theoretically and practically. Theoretically, this research is expected to contribute to further scientific development, especially those related to management in an organization to produce or improve achievement. The positive results from this research can be used as a guide in carrying out the development of athlete achievement in Jambi Province, especially for archery sports. Practically, the results of this study are expected to be input for policymakers and other stakeholders with interest in the management policy of the archery athlete coaching program, especially KONI and archery branch administrators regarding the management system used in Jambi Province, and as consideration for local government in fostering sports organizations and other public organizations.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of beauty influencers and product quality on purchasing decisions for Instant noodles are one of the most popular food businesses in Indonesia because it favored by many people. This condition makes instant noodles companies in Indonesia increasingly vying to win the market competition, such as Sarimi. This study aims to analyze the effect of brand image and product quality on purchase decisions. The variables in this study consisted of brand image (X1), product quality (X2), and purchase decisions (Y). This research aimed at college students who are currently studying in Surabaya with a total sample of 96 respondents. The sampling technique in this study is a non-probability sampling technique with a purposive sampling approach. The data analysis technique used is Partial Least Square (PLS) and processed with SmartPLS 3.0 software. The results indicate that brand image has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions, and product quality has a positive and significant effect on purchase decisions.

Abstract

The from physical to digital forms requires companies to develop their marketing. The purpose of this research is to know how the influence of advertising effectiveness, word of mouth, and brand image to the purchasing decision Mrprabspomade. The sampling in this study was convenience sampling and the sample that can be used in this research is 100 datas (round figures using Slovin (99,9). And the methods for the data analysis is regression, which are simple regression and multiple regression. The results of this study are positive influence on the effectiveness of advertising purchasing decisions. With the t value of 9.698 or more than t table 1.9845. Word of mouth has positive influence on purchasing decisions, with the t value of 9.192 or more than t table 1.9845. Brand image has positive influence on purchasing decisions, with the t value of 8.842 or more than t table 1.9845. Simultaneous with the test, all the independent variables (effectiveness of advertising, word of mouth and brand image) significant influence on purchasing decisions, the calculated F value of 54.923 over the F table at 2.70 and with a significant level of 0.000 <0.05, it can be concluded that the H04 is rejected and Ha4 accepted.

Abstract

One form of effort to improve the quality of public services is to provide broad access to the public to submit complaints on public services provided by the organizers. With this wide access, it is hoped that the community can actively participate in encouraging the realization of excellent public services. Some public services that receive complaints, have not been able to answer complaints submitted from the community to optimally overcome these conditions, it is necessary to make efforts to improve the implementation of public services, especially in complaint services to achieve quality and optimal public services. As an embodiment in this case, it is necessary to make a new breakthrough in public services in the form of innovation. The Wargaku application is a breakthrough for the Surabaya City Government as a form of public service, namely a responsive and informative complaint service. The purpose of this research is to find out, describe and analyze the application of Public Complaint Service Innovation through the Android-Based Wargaku Application at the Surabaya City Communication and Information Office. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. In this study using data collection techniques in the form of interviews with informants, observations, and documentation. Furthermore, the data analysis model in this study uses an interactive data analysis model consisting of data collection, data presentation, data condensation, and drawing conclusions. The results obtained from this study indicate that the application of the complaint service system through the Wargaku application at the Surabaya Communication and Information Service in service has experienced a good improvement. Then in terms of innovation, the application of public complaints services through the Wargaku application has fulfilled the needs of the community in facilitating complaint services in the city of Surabaya.

Abstract

The incidence of malaria has spread throughout the world. Every year more than 500 million people in the world are infected with malaria and more than 1,000,000 people die. Malaria spread factors from various possibilities, such as land clearing, excavation, mining. In addition, climatic factors also affect the distribution of the Anopheles mosquito which causes malaria throughout the world. Several studies were conducted on existing mines in Brazil and Columbia. Prevention of all aspects of possible occurrence of malaria is needed in order to emphasize the number of malaria cases in mining throughout the world, including Indonesia.
