Abstract

This research try to answer on how students’ comprehension on surah An- Nur verse 31 and surah Al Ahzab verse 59 based on Al – misbah commentation. Women no need to wear hijab, in contrast to the academic role, according to the students’ contract, they have to wear hijab. After conducting the research discovered two perception First, there are some students who disagree with that especially the students with islamic education backgound (Islamic Dormitiry School and MA). Second, some of them agree especially the students from the general educational background (Senior high school and Vocational School).

Abstract

Expecting to have a family that harmonious and get along well is every family's dream. There are usually individual differences makes it a challenge for the realization of harmony in the family, but not for families in Sindang Kelingi. This study aims to describe the family harmony that occurs in Sindang Kelingi even though with different religions. This study is a descriptive qualitative research in the form of library research, with data collection then analyzed with descriptive data. The data on this Research was obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation. Results of this study are: Religious differences in families that occur in Sindang Kelingi village are formed by the pattern of parents and children. No religious differences were found with married couple andfamily harmony that has diversity in religion can be realized in Sindang Kelingi due to: there are of kinship, the sense of unity, the equality of work / profession of his parents (trans veterans), the advice from the elders to live in harmony, the village regulations for living in harmony and mutual respect the views of moderate religious leaders

Abstract

This study was designed to evaluate the efforts that was made by STAIN Curup in improving the ability of students to recite the Qur’an through Tahsin al-qirâ'ah courses. The goal was to determine how effective these efforts can improve the students to recite the Qur’an. This study was an evaluation which is a systematic scientific procedures that performed to measure the results of a program, whether or not the objectives planned is suitable. By collecting, analyzing and reviewing the implemention of the programs that was conducted objectively. Then formulating and defining the policy in advance to consider the positive values and benefits of the program. The informants of this study were the Head of STAIN Curup, Tahsin al-qira'ah Lecturers, and the second or third-year students. From the result of research, it was found that the efforts made by STAIN Curup to improve students’s ability to recite al-Quran by requiring first-year students took tahsin al-qiraah courses was not very effective. It was shown from the low ability of the second and third students to recite al-Quran who have passed the course. 46.6% of students had low achievement. This happened because: (1) lack of time lecturing; (2) the lack of oversight and evaluation of the program by the Head of STAIN Curup, and (3) classification of students which were not based on the ability.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as educational institutions that have the principal principle of tafaaquh fi din have a tremendous influence on their santri. In addition, history also records from before the independent state of Indonesia, that pesantren became the frontline in expelling colonial colonizers and presenting peace in the archipelago even today. Even so, lately there have been a number of pesantren that have lost their way, they have stopped paying attention to the security and peace of the nation, they only think that in a pesantren it is a place to explore religious knowledge not others. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to explore the pesantren in fortifying the Pancasila. This study is a linear field with a descriptive qualitative approach, where data collected in the form of written or oral words from people who are the subject of research and observable behavior. Research data is sought through observation, interviews, and documentation. This research produces several things: first; the role of pesantren in rejang lebong and kepahiang districts is very good in terms of education, da'wah which is tasamuh, religious and moral services as well as ukhuwah islamiyah, except the second pesantren as Syafi'i imam; the efforts made by the pesantren in fortifying Pancasila, namely: the formation of friendly Islam with the TNI and the Police and the Commemoration of national and Islamic holidays, as well as social services. In contrast to the efforts made by the imam as Syafi'i pesantren which is to establish communication with the guardians of the santri who agree with them.

Abstract

This article tries to reveal another meaning to the word al-nabiy al-ummiy in the context of historic-Sufistic. Among Indonesian mufassirs al-nabiy al-ummiy means less read and write, although there are other muslim scholars who understand that the Prophet Muhammad does not know how to read and write. Based on this latter view it becomes an apologetic argument that all the revelations revealed to the Prophet Muhammad are independently. There were not influenced by the previous traditions and religious cultures. To find the meaning beyond the conventional meaning above, the author tries to trace the historical background before and during Muhammad's time by using descriptive analytic-historical and sufistic. The result of this discussion of the author finds that beyond the common sense al-nabiy al-ummiy can be understood by: first, that Muhammad saw as the perfect person he became the source (babon), polecy (policy), and wisdom (wisdom) both vertical and horizontal among the people. Secondly, based on the historical reality of the proud Arab nation if it is attributed to the lineage of Mother's side, it affirms that the prophet Muhammad is an honorable man. Third, al-nabiy al-ummiy became one of the visions of Islam as a motherly religion that women should be honored and get their rights. Fourth, al-nabiy al-ummiy as proof that the prophet Muhammad gave strict laws against the mothers (of a husband) who can not be passed on to the children of his old wife.

Abstract

Religious life is very dynamic, especially supported by increasingly advanced technological developments. Of course, the discussion of tolerance must follow the current technological developments because technological developments support it. With the existence of social media, people can gather through an Internet network called the virtual world, both from various countries and religions. This will create vulnerability to religious tolerance because the existence of social media conceivably allows people to show hatred towards other religions, to which according to them is against their religion. Abstract

This paper aims to explore the thoughts of Abdurrahman Wahid about Islam and plurarism in political development in Indonesia, referring to the condition of the Indonesian nation that is difficult to live amid a climate of religious plurality, then he voiced the call for peaceful coexistence in the social life of religious communities in Indonesia. For Abdurrahman, with his keen thoughts on religion and nationalism, he directed his thoughts on inclusiveness in religious life. This paper is presented in the literature review. The results can be drawn from this paper, that the plurarism according to Gus Dur, namely the existence of awareness to know each other and dialogue sincerely so that one group with each other take and give. Islam as the majority religion in Indonesia, continued Gus Dur, has important values in creating harmony among peoples and achieve political stability in Indonesia. Abstract

Sharia Economic Study Program of Curup State Islamic University (IAIN Curup) has obtained the Operating Permit from 2016. Based on the data obtained by students enrolled in the Islamic economics study program, only a minority came from Rejang Lebong district, while the majority came from outside the region.The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an influence of knowledge about the institution towards the lack of community interest in Rejang Lebong Regency to study at the Curriculum of Islamic Studies Program IAIN Curup. The research data collection methods were questionnaires and interviews, with 334 respondents from 12th grade high school students in the Rejang Lebong district selected randomly and analyzed using the Fish Bone method. The results showed that the low interest of the community to continue their education to the Curriculum of Islamic Studies program IAIN Curup due to lack of knowledge about the existence and the existence of scholarships, supporting facilities, qualifications of lecturers in the Curriculum of Islamic Studies Program IAIN Curup, lack of information dissemination about the process of admission of new students in the Economic Study Program Syariah IAIN Curup, not yet evenly distributed participants of the vision and mission of IAIN Curup Sharia Economic Study Program.

Abstract

Jama’ah Tabligh/Tablighis ( "Group informer") (Arabic: جماعة التبليغ , also called Tabliq) is an Islamic missionary movement with the aim of returning to the teachings of Islam as true. The main objective of this movement is to raise the spiritual soul in self and life of every Muslim to revive the deeds (tradition) which according to their perception has been exemplified by the Prophet and the scholars in the past. This article tries to explore the activity Jama’ah Tabligh/Tablighis of the psychological aspects of their members in the transformation of the Islamic values, religious person because attitudes also influence the attitudes and behavior of people. This paper also reveals how the ritual doctrines taught and religious activities conducted by Jama’ah Tabligh/Tablighis can shape the attitudes and followers behaviors, to discuss the authors use a psychological perspective.

Abstract

West Sumatra society today has a high interest in getting children into pesantren, it can be seen from the interest that increased every year. In terms of cost, education funds in pesantren are quite expensive. Admission fee into pesantren currently ranges from eight to fifteen million rupiahs, while monthly for one child ranges from seven hundred thousand to one million three hundred rupiahs per month. This differs greatly from public schools that are free of charge. The assumption is that this is a positive symptom where parents have a good Islamic passion and give sufficient attention to increase their children's religious understanding. This paper will explain about the phenomenon of education is quite expensive but able to attract the interest and attention of the community and reveal what factors are driving parents to enter children into Islamic boarding schools. The method used is qualitative. The fact that the assumption is not entirely true, because many factors that encourage parents to enter children into the pesantren are more driven by work, household problems, and more importantly, the community considers pesantren to be able to provide solutions for child development problems. In fact the pesantren is also unable to fully appreciate the role of parents. So the awareness of all parties, both parents and the school to collaborate, really helps the realization of better children's education
