Abstract

ABSTRACT This study shows that education in Sufism has its own uniqueness compared to the model of education in general. The uniqueness is evident from their educationnal designs and models that apply distinctive patterns and stages, known as soul cleansing. The process pursued in Sufism education model is necessary, given that the material and practise that are lived and practiced are not always concrete and physical. The majority of the material is metaphysical, so that a special educational media is required. For the Sufis, education is not only the media to gain ‘learned knowledge’, that is hushuli, but also the presented knowledge, that is hudhuri. The latter type of knowledge is difficult for a man to gain if he or she relies only on the power of reason and senses. There is no suitable medium for acquiring this type of knoweledge except the purification of the soul and heart through the consistency in guarding of its fitrah consciousness. The form of awareness of nature that opens the opportunity to open the veil/curtain of separation between the self with the object and reality. To be able to maintain the state of awareness of nature in perfect state there is no other way except with the purification of the soul through soul management that is not easy.Keywords: Education, radikalisme, tasawuf

Abstract

This study offers a constructive-critical paradigm as an effort to develop Islamic education in Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul Ulama. Development of Islamic education paradigm of Muhammadiyah and Nahdatul Ulama whose goal ultimately directs the learners into pious human beings to God. Freedom here is limited by the line of demarcation of the law and the teachings of the Shariah that are determined by God in line with the philosophy that underlies human nature. Learners are added by Muslims is a smart, meticulous, and able to think by using the mind well and responsible. Peserta didik didambahkan oleh umat Islam adalah yang cerdas, cermat, dan mampu berfikir dengan menggunakan akalnya dengan baik dan bertanggung jawab. Abstract

ABSTRACT, This study aims to examine the influence of religious understanding on the performance of Madrasah Ibtidaiah teachers in Manado City. The method used in this research is correlational quantitative. This research is conducted in Madrasah Ibtidaiah in Manado City with the sample size of 96, selected from 127 teachers using proportional stratified random sampling. Data collection is done by using test and nontest instruments. The test is used to collect data on religious understanding and the nontest is used to collect the data of practice and performance. The collected data are then analyzed using descriptive analysis and path analysis. The results of this study indicate that religious understanding has a positive direct effect on teacher performance. To improve teachers’ performance, the efforts made, in relation to these variables, include improving teachers’ religious understanding by renewing teachers’ religious knowledge by strengthening faith and devotion to God, and increasing selfawareness that obedience and sincerity in applying it are inevitable.Keywords: Religious understanding, performance, teachersPengaruh Pemahaman Agama terhadap Kinerja Guru Madrasah Ibtidaiah di Kota Manado

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to assess and analyze (1) the level of academic supervision services perceived by the teachers, (2) the effectiveness level of principal leadership perceived by the teachers, (3) performance of the teachers, (4) the significant correlation between academic supervision services and the performance of the teachers, and (5) the significant correlation between the principal’s leadership and the performance of the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari City. The population of this research are all teachers of the Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari City which amount to 204 teachers who are government employyees. The sample of the research is determined by using the formula of minimum sampling. From the calculation with the minimum sampling formula known to the population of 204 teachers, a minimum sample size of 64 teachers is obtained. The data on each research variable is collected by using Likert scale questionnaires. The data analysis is conducted using the Z test, correlation, and regression. The results of this research show that (1) the supervision of academic services perceived by the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari is quite high, (2) the effectiveness of principal leadership perceived by the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari is quite high, (3) the competence of the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari City is quite high, (4) there is a significant correlation between the service of academic supervision and the competence of the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari City, (5) there is a significant correlation between the leadership of the principal and the competence of the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari City, and (6) there is a significant influence of the academic supervision service and the principal’s leadership on the competence of the teachers of Madrasah Aliyah in Kendari City.Keywords: Academic supervision service, principal leadership, teachers’ competence

Abstract

ABSTRACT.This study aims to analyze the influence of learning motivation and extracurricular activities of the Qur'an studio either individually (partially) or (simultaneously) to the students' learning achievement on the subjects of Alquran Hadith of Madrasah Aliyah in Manado City. The population in this study was all students of Madrasah Aliyah in Manado City in School Year of 2016/2017 who’s following the extracurricular activities of Alquran studio, which amounts to 300 students. To determine the sample of this research, the researcher uses a table which developed from the formula of Isaac and Michael, which according to the table for a population of 380 people then the sample amounted to 161 people with 5% error rate. The data were collected by using the questionnaire technique. Testing the validity of the questionnaire in terms of construct validity and content validity through expert judgment and content validity by Pearson correlation analysis by using SPSS for Windows Release 20 program. To test the reliability of the questionnaire was analyzed with Alpha-Cronbach. Research hypothesis testing conducted with Multiple Regression, at the real level of 0.05. The process of calculating of the regression test was conducted by using SPSS for Windows Release 20. The results of this research can generally be concluded that: 1) there was significant influence of student's learning motivation on student achievement of Madrasah Aliyah in Manado City inAlquran Hadith subject, 2) there was significant influence of extracurricular activities of Alquranstudio to the students achievement of Madrasah Aliyah in Manado City in Alquran Hadith subject, and 3) there was significant influence of students' learning motivation and extracurricular activities of Alquran studio simultaneously on the students learning achievement of Madrasah Aliyah in Manado City in the subject of Alquran Hadith.. Keywords: Learning Motivation, Extracurricular, Alquran Studio, Learning Achievement ABSTRAK. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh motivasi belajar dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sanggar Alquran baik secara sendiri-sendiri (parsial) maupun secara bersama-sama (simultan) terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Alquran Hadis di Madrasah Aliyah Kota Manado.Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa Madrasah Aliyah yang ada di Kota Manado Tahun Pelajaran 2016/2017 yang mengikuti kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sanggar Alquran, yang berjumlah 300 siswa. Untuk menentukan sampel penelitian, peneliti menggunakan tabel yang dikembangkan dari rumus Isaac dan Michael, dimana berdasarkan tabel tersebut untuk populasi yang berjumlah 300 orang maka sampelnya berjumlah 161 orang dengan taraf kesalahan 5%. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan teknik angket. Pengujian validitas angket dilihat dari segi validitas konstruk dan validitas isi melalui pertimbangan ahli dan validitas isi melalui analisis korelasi Pearson dengan menggunakan program SPSS for Windows 23. Untuk pengujian reliabilitas angket dilakukan dengan analisis alpha-cronbach. Pengujian hipotesis penelitian dilakukan dengan Regresi Ganda, pada taraf nyata 0,05. Proses penghitungan pengujian regresi menggunakan program SPSS for Windows 23. Hasil penelitian ini secara umum dapat disimpulkan: (1) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Manado pada mata pelajaran Alquran Hadis, 2) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sanggar Alquran terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Manado pada mata pelajaran Alquran Hadis, dan 3) terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan motivasi belajar siswa dan kegiatan ekstrakurikuler sanggar Alquran secara bersama-sama terhadap prestasi belajar siswa Madrasah Aliyah di Kota Manado dalam mata pelajaran AlquranHadis. Kata kunci: Motivasi Belajar, Ekstrakurikuler, Sanggar Alquran, Prestasi Belajar

Abstract

Postmodernism as a mode of contemporary discourse in the social sciences and humanities can serve as the base of thougth in strengthening the epistemology of Islamic education scholarship. Abstract

Abstract. The purposes of this research are to describe the juvenile delinquency,its causes and its relationship with the education in Indonesia. This research also describes and provides solution to face a juvenile delinquency through character education. This research is a descriptive-qualitative research. Listening method is used as the data collecting technique, using technique of tap and write. The sources of the data are obtained by interviews, literature study, and the articles of newspapers. The results of this research are juvenile delinquency caused by juvenile inability to filter information. It caused by the education system in Indonesia thatmore focus on cognitive aspects than morality aspects also caused by the lack of parental affection. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan kenakalan remaja, penyebabnya dan merelevansikannya dengan potret pendidikan di Indonesia. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga membahas dan menawarkan pendidikan karakter sebagai sebuah solusi dari kenakalan remaja. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Data-data dikumpulkan menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik dasar sadap dan teknik lanjutan catat. Sumber data diperoleh dari hasil wawancara, studi pustaka dan membaca realita yang sudah tercatat dalam surat kabar. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bahwasanya kenakalan remaja disebabkan oleh lemahnya kemampuan mereka untuk menyaring informasi yang beredar, system pendidikan di Indonesia yang terlalu mengedepankan aspek kognitif dan kurangnya perhatian orang tuaKata Kunci: Kata kunci: Kenakalan remaja, potret pendidikan dan pendidikan karakter.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Discussing about the school certainly will not be separated from leadership problems. Good and effective leadership can only be realized when executed in accordance with its duties and functions, namely as a driving force, determining the direction of school policy, which will determine how school goals and education are generally realized. The success of principals in performing their duties as leaders and managers of education is determined by several factors. Among these factors is dignity and welfare. Further explanations of welfare and dignity as well as their relationship to the principal’s leadership are discussed in length in this paper.Keywords: Leadership, welfare, dignity

Abstract

Abstract. Throughout the course of history and culture, courage is considered a high value of goodness because it can help people to be able to face the challenges of their lives. Moral courage is a form of courage involving behavioral expression by conveying inconvenience to disputes, reproaches, and rejection. It has been a concern for the past two decades because teachers and schools are constantly faced with normative problems,  violence in a school and student  are sometimes seems to have lost their way when dealing with norms and values. The purpose of this research is to know how the dynamics of moral courage to the teacher. Data in this research is obtained by using qualitative research method with case study design. Subject selection using purposive sampling technique. Respondent to this research is a teacher who has wrestle his profession for 10 years. Data collection research by interview. The results of this study indicate that the respondents have had five aspects of moral courage that is, the presence and recognition of the moral situation, moral choice, behavior, individuality, and fear.Keyword: Moral Courage, Teacher, Case StudyAbstrak. Sepanjang perjalanan sejarah dan budaya, keberanian dinilai sebagai sebuah nilai kebaikan yang tinggi karena dapat membantu orang-orang untuk mampu menghadapi tantangan hidup mereka. Keberanian moral merupakan salah satu bentuk keberanian yang melibatkan ekspresi perilaku dengan menyampaikan ketidaknyamanan atas pertikaian, celaan, dan penolakan. Telah menjadi kekhawatiran selama dua dekade terakhir dikarenakan guru dan sekolah yang terus menerus dihadapkan pada permasalahan normatif, kekerasan di sekolah dan siswa yang terkadang tampak telah kehilangan araha mereka ketika berhadapan dengan hal yang berkaitan dengan norma dan nilai. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana dinamika keberanian moral pada guru. Data pada penelitian ini diperoleh dengan menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Pemilihan subjek menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Responden pada penilitian ini merupakan seorang guru yang telah menggeluti profesinya selama 10 tahun. Pengumpulan data penelitian dengan cara wawancara. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa responden telah memiliki lima aspek keberanian moral yaitu, kehadiran dan pengenalan terhadap situasi moral, pilihan moral, perilaku, individualitas, dan rasa takut.Kata kunci : Keberanian Moral, Guru, Studi Kasus

Abstract

ABSTRACT Talking about the concept of morals, is something that can not be ignored just so much more to provide enlightenment for the students or educators in the field of moral education in particular. The figure of Ibn Miskawayh (his famous name) is one of the most important classical Muslim thinkers in the field of morals. He contributes greatly in drawing concrete formulations about the human soul or more precisely about the faculties of the human soul that help humans develop their moral potential. He examines morality very detailed, both on the theoretical and practical level, so that the concept is more of a rational ethic or ethical philosophy. This paper on the one hand wants to clarify the concept of moral education according to Ibn Miskawayh in his essay Tahzîb al-Akhlāq, on the other hand wants to clarify his life journey and the background of the writing of Tahzîb al-Akhlāq.Keywords: Moral education, Ibnu Miskawaih, Tahzîb al-Akhlāq
