Abstract

Leaves of hibiscus (Hibiscus tiliaceus L.) is widely used by communities to nourish the hair while the juice of lime (Citrus aurantifolia Swingle.) used to eliminate dandruff. Its use is directly less practical than if formulated in the form of shampoo. Cream shampoo formulation development using emulgator sodium lauryl sulfate and sodium hydroxide-coconut oil and the carbopol with concentration  0.1% 0.3% and 0.5%. This study aims to determine the formula that has the most optimal stability. The evaluation was done by testing the stability of organoleptis, homogeneity, determination of pH, type of emulsion, creaming volume, viscosity and size of the dispersed drops before and after accelerated storage. The results show the entire formula is stable because it does not experience phase separation, but the formula that stability is the most optimal use of sodium lauryl sulfate emulgator and karbopol with a concentration of 0.1% because it has a different viscosity and yield value are not significant (α = 0.5). Abstract

Herbal cream formulation that contain yoghurt and black rice (Oryza sativa L.) combination investigation has been done, used anionik amin soap (stearic acid and triethanolamin),  nonionik (tween 80), anionik detergent (Sodium lauryl sulfate) as the emulgator.  An investigation purpose was to have a herbal cream formulation most optimum in stability. Stability evaluation performed before and after accelerated condition in 5oC and 35oC for 10 cycles. Organoleptis, creaming volume, viskositas, emulsion type,  homogenitas and dispersed globul then observed. The results showed parameters of organoleptic testing, kriming volume, homogeneity, and the type of emulsion drops dispersed in the ninth formula obtained no change before and after strees conditions . But the viscosity measurements showed formulas that use  anionic emulgator such us amin soap (formula I - III) or detergents (Formula VII - IX) results do not change viscosity (α = 5%) after being kept in conditions that are imposed. So it can be concluded the formula I - III and VII - IX produces a more stable Herbal cream  physically.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to investigate the influence of storage on the size of the metal content of Pb and Zn to quality consumable products corned beef cans obtained from a grocery store or supermarket, and to determine the ratio between the metals Pb and Zn results, with SK. DG BPOM No.03725/ B / SK / VII / 89 maximum of metal contamination in food. In this study, the sampling method used is the method of random sampling in which sampling method from a single population and each population has an equal chance to be selected as sample. Analysis of heavy metal Pb in all samples showed uptake results ranged from 0.0000 to 0.0005, or may be heavy metal pollution Pb is very small. Total Pb (lead) was much less after storage in the refrigerator for 1 day of corned beef packaging consumables, it is possible the influence of the storage temperature. Analysis of Zn metal in the samples showed varying results, it is because the meat itself was contained zinc metal content. Total Zn (Zinc) also was less after storage in the refrigerator for 1 day of corned beef packaging consumables, it is possible the influence of storage temperature affect the metal content. Analysis of Pb (lead) and Zn (zinc) in a sample of corned beef canned consumables still below the threshold set by decree. SNI No. 7387:2009 above the maximum limit of metal contamination in food, so the packaging corned beef is still suitable for consumption and circulated in the market.Key words: Corned Meat Packaging Cans, Metal Pb, Zn Metal, Storage
