Abstract

After the COVID-19 pandemic, Indonesia's telecommunications industry faces significant growth challenges due to declining demand for home internet services as people's activity patterns evolve. This shift has directly impacted the business performance of Global Network Service (GNS), a unit of X Corporation highly dependent on telecommunications operators as the primary customer segment. The company's reliance on a stagnating market threatens its long-term sustainability and growth. This study aims to develop a business diversification strategy for GNS targeting Indonesia’s enterprise market to achieve sustainable growth, improve competitiveness, and reduce dependency on the shrinking telecommunications sector. Using a qualitative case study approach, the research utilizes primary data from semi-structured interviews with GNS stakeholders, alongside secondary data from industry reports, company documents, and national policy publications. The analysis utilizes VRIO, SWOT, PESTEL, and Porter’s Five Forces frameworks to assess internal competencies and external market dynamics. The results show that GNS has some competitive advantages, such as a strong global reputation and technical skills in networking and cybersecurity. However, challenges include low brand awareness in the enterprise sector and slow decision-making processes. The recommended strategy involves four pillars: transforming service models, restructuring the organization, leveraging global reputation for premium solutions, and establishing a Security Operations Center (SOC) ecosystem as a competitive edge.

Abstract

This study investigates how social media content strategy can enhance customer engagement and influence purchase intention and electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) in the architecture and interior design industry in Indonesia. Drawing on the Uses and Gratifications (U&G) theory and the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA), the research examines how different content strategies (educational, inspirational, entertainment, and trust-building) and content characteristics (vividness, interactivity, immersiveness, and informativeness) affect customer engagement, which in turn mediates their impact on marketing outcomes. Using a quantitative approach, data were collected from 220 respondents familiar with design studios’ Instagram accounts. The results, analyzed through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), indicate that content characteristics particularly interactivity and immersiveness have a significant positive effect on customer engagement. In contrast, content strategy dimensions show no significant direct effect. Customer engagement strongly predicts both purchase intention and eWOM, and also serves as a partial mediator in the model. These findings highlight the importance of designing immersive and interactive content to foster engagement in social media marketing for design studios. The study offers a practical implementation roadmap, encouraging small studios to prioritize digital strategies that emphasize audience interaction and experience rather than static information-sharing.

Abstract

This research emerged due to the increasing concern over audit timeliness and its influence on financial market behavior, particularly the cost of equity capital and the degree of information asymmetry. Finding, characterizing, and analyzing the evolution of research publishing trends investigated by scholars globally is the primary goal of this bibliometric study. Using a systematic review approach, researchers gathered 98 documents from the Scopus database published between 2019 and 2024. The findings indicate a noticeable growth in academic publications focusing on audit report lag and its implications for transparency, investor confidence, and financial decision-making. These articles include topics such as auditor competence, audit committee effectiveness, governance structures, and country-level regulatory impacts. The increase in publication volume is influenced by data accessibility, collaborative research funding, and global scholarly interest in audit efficiency and financial risk management. This study offers several recommendations to enhance organizational knowledge related to improving audit timeliness, mitigating information asymmetry, and reducing equity financing costs.

Abstract

The imperative to cultivate an inclusive, equitable, and diverse work environment has become increasingly prominent in contemporary organizational discourse, especially when it comes to keeping employees engaged and supporting the long-term health of an organization. In Indonesia’s herbal medicine industry, a sector marked by strict regulations and a diverse employee base these inclusive values are often discussed but not always fully explored in practice. This paper investigates how the adoption of these values fosters employee loyalty and how such loyalty functions within the framework of organizational sustainability, in turn, helps the company stay sustainable over time. Employing a quantitative research paradigm, this study elicited empirical data from 367 employees embedded within Indonesian enterprises affiliated with the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC). This study utilized PLS-SEM as the primary analytical method to explore the relationships between inclusivity, employee involvement, and outcomes related to sustainability. The results showed a strong link, inclusive policies boosted both employee commitment and the company’s overall sustainability goals. Moreover, employee engagement was recognized as a connecting mechanism linking inclusive strategies with sustained organizational outcomes. Ultimately, this research underscores that when organizations foster an environment built on fairness and openness, employees tend to be more motivated, collaborative, and creative qualities that are essential for innovation and resilience. The study also provides clear, actionable steps for companies aiming to tie their HR strategies more closely to sustainability, particularly in industries where compliance and ethical standards are a top concern.

Abstract

Optimizing the management of village finances and assets in an accountable, transparent, and participatory manner was key to achieving sustainable village governance. This study aimed to analyze community empowerment in the management of village finances and assets, as well as to examine the influence of social capital, including trust, norms, and social networks on community participation, both directly and indirectly through participatory budgeting. A mixed-methods approach was employed. Data were collected through observation, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation from 130 respondents selected using stratified sampling combined with Roscoe’s theory. Data analysis was conducted qualitatively using the Miles and Huberman model and quantitatively using SEM-PLS. The results indicated that community empowerment in village financial and asset management was effectively implemented through active participation in village development planning meetings, which facilitated the expression of community priorities. Transparency in budget and project information enhanced public understanding and trust in village governance. Strong social networks supported involvement in planning, decision-making, and economic empowerment, while social norms such as deliberation and mutual cooperation fostered harmony in financial management. The involvement of local labor in village projects also positively impacted the local economy. These findings emphasized the importance of integrating trust, social networks, social norms, and participatory budgeting to ensure transparent, accountable, and efficient management of village finances and assets for sustainable development.
