Abstract

The SASAMBO (Sasak, Samawa, Mbojo) tribe has a variety of medicinal plants. The abundance of SASAMBO tribal medicinal plants can be used in learning the natural product chemistry which are expected to support traditional health tourism on the islands of Lombok and Sumbawa. Natural product chemistry examines the chemical content associated with the efficacy of a medicinal plant. This linkage can provide scientific support for the use of SASAMBO traditional medicinal plants. The method used in this research is the study of literature and questionnaires. Data sources came from public records, the results of questionnaire responses, and scientific articles related to SASAMBO traditional medicine. The results showed that there were various SASAMBO medicinal plants which were potentially used in the study of natural product chemistry with details, Lombok (Sasak) 43 species, Sumbawa (Samawa) 25 species, and Bima (Mbojo) 35 species. Some of these plant species are used for the treatment of diseases caused by viruses, so it has the potential to be used to treat corona outbreaks. Lombok and Sumbawa islands have abundant medicinal plants, this makes the two islands potential as a traditional health tourism destination.

Abstract

This research succeeded in creating a thin layer of SnO2 and SnO2: In+Al through a synthesis process with the sol-gel spin-coating technique on a glass substrate. The manufacture of this thin layer uses the basic material SnCl2.2H2O, and the doping material InCl3.4H2O and AlCl3. This thin layer is made with variations in doping concentration, number of layers, and heating temperature. The results of the synthesis of SnO2: In+Al films show that the thin film formed is more transparent when the doping concentration and the number of layers is increased. Meanwhile, the thin layer that forms is increasingly not transparent when heated at higher temperatures

Abstract

Critical thinking is an important skill that needs to be developed in students, including vocational high school students. The critical thinking skills of students who are well facilitated in the learning process will be very useful for students' future. This study aims to develop and implement learning tools that combine discovery learning models with cognitive conflict approaches so that they have a good impact on students' critical thinking skills on heat material. The development of this learning tool adapted the 4D model which consisted of define, design, develop, and disseminate. The learning tools are in the form of syllabus, lesson plans, student worksheets, and evaluation instruments in the form of descriptions to measure students' critical thinking skills. This research was carried out at Mataram State Vocational High School 4 in the academic year 2018/2019. The results showed that this learning device obtained a very high level of validity based on an assessment by an expert validator and obtained a high level of practicality based on observations of the implementation of learning and the results of filling out the questionnaire by students. Students' critical thinking skills are also classified as high criteria based on the measurement results of the evaluation of learning. It can be concluded that the developed learning device is valid, practical, and has a good impact on students' critical thinking skills

Abstract

This study aims to analyze and describe data on the understanding of YAPNUSDA elementary school teachers of High Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) and their implementation in learning. This study is a descriptive study that describes HOTS's understanding of the teacher and its implementation in learning. The data collection tool used was a questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that in general the data obtained is that the teachers in the study location schools do not yet understand about HOTS. They can't even explain the definition of HOTS. The lack of understanding of HOTS certainly has an impact on the implementation of HOTS in the tools for assessing learning performance, including the exam questions jointly prepared by the editorial team. The most frequently cited reason that also hinders teachers is that they do not yet understand HOTS and the technique of formulating instruments with verbs that measure HOTS.

Abstract

One of the fundamental problems for students is the low motivation to learn. The reason is the learning approach used by lecturers in the classroom is less attractive. Therefore this study about the use of contextual approaches based on e-learning to help student motivation. This type of research is quantitative research, with descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistics to describe motivation data for learning simple harmonic wave material Students of Physics Education Study Program at University of Flores use a contextual approach based on e-learning. Data collection techniques used in this study were non-test techniques. From the results of descriptive analysis shows that the average student learning motivation is 78.90 in the sufficient category. While the results of inferential statistics show the t value of 5.453, sig (2-tailed) 0.000. Because the sig (2-tailed) value of 0,000 is smaller than 0.05, this shows that the contextual approach based on e-learning (Zoom Cloud Meeting) influences student learning motivation

Abstract

Biology Learning Media Course requires students to be able to produce biology learning media. In the previous recovery, students were less creative in producing media for Biology. So students are less able to create suitable media. During this time students do not have the right learning resources in exploring creativity. For this reason, the development of project-based learning based modules is carried out to provide appropriate learning resources and increase student creativity. The purpose of this study was to determine curriculum analysis for the development of media learning modules based on pjbl. Research is a research development using the 4D model at defined stage. Curriculum analysis data were obtained through descriptive analysis. The results showed that 9 materials needed development in the module including communication, learning media, classification of educational media, characteristics of students and their relation to the biology learning media, the role of media in achieving learning objectives, multimedia, photography and video shooting, designing, presenting and displaying, of biology media, media scenarios biology learning. It can be concluded that there are nine materials in developing a learning media module based on PjBL.

Abstract

Misconception is a misconception that refers to a concept that is not in accordance with scientific understanding or understanding received by experts in that field. This study aims to identify students' misconceptions in solving momentum and impulse problems through the R-MV approach (mathematical representation and verbal representation) integrated CRI (Certainly of Response Index). This research included in the type of qualitative descriptive analysis research. The subject of the research was tenth-grade students of Jember Regency Senior High School. Data collection techniques in this research use method of observation, tests, and interviews. The data analysis technique used was the mathematical representation approach integrated CRI. Based on the results of the research that has been done, the students' misconceptions percentage in Jember Senior High School of science tenth grade on material momentum and impulse through mathematical representation approach integrated CRI of 20.07% and through verbal representation approach integrated CRI of 32.94%. This is included in the category (Almost Very Confident) for mathematical representation and (Sure) for verbal representation, meaning the value that students get as truthful based on understanding material with correct

Abstract

Students' scientific literacy skills can be developed and enhanced with appropriate learning models and supported by adequate technology. This study aims to determine the improvement of the science literacy skills of elementary students through the Nature of Science learning model by utilizing the "Learning house" feature of the Ministry of Education and Culture. The research method used was a pre-experiment with one group pretest-posttest design. The instrument used was in the form of a science literacy ability test and an observation sheet of learning implementation with the research subjects of 38 students of Cibatok I Elementary School, Bogor, West Java, VA, and VB classes in 2018/2019 school year. The data obtained were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test using SPSS 22 at α (0.05). The results showed that (1) there was an increase in students' scientific literacy skills through the Nature of Science learning model by utilizing the "Learning house" feature of the Ministry of Education and Culture, this was indicated by sig (0,000) <α (0.05); (2) The average scientific literacy ability of students after being given the Nature of Science learning model by utilizing the "Learning house" feature of the Ministry of Education and Culture (3.75) is higher than the average scientific literacy ability of students before being given the Nature of Science learning model by utilizing the Ministry of Education and Culture's "Learning house" feature (2.57). It can be concluded that the Nature of Science learning model by utilizing the " Learning house" feature of the Ministry of Education and Culture can significantly increase the level of students' scientific literacy abilities.
