Abstract

This study aims to develop an evaluation instrument for science learning program in junior high schools based on the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model. This research uses the exploratory sequential mix method for instrument development. The qualitative stage was carried out through in-depth interviews with five principals and ten teachers. The qualitative stage aims to analyze needs in the field and explore the opinions of school principals and teachers regarding the evaluation of science learning programs. Researchers distributed instruments to 112 participants for the quantitative stage of the validation test. The instrument was validated in three stages. The first stage is the face validity test, the second stage is the Exploratory Factor Analysis (EFA) test, and the last stage is the Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test. The results of face validity conducted with two experts stated that each indicator developed had followed the flow of the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) model. Exploratory Factor Analysis Test Based on scree plot data, it was found that there was a fault after the four components, and the researcher decided to take four elements with a total variance of 50.95%. The confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) test showed that from 47 items, only 35 items were declared valid. This research has positive implications for the practice of integrated science learning at the junior high school level in Indonesia. Principals and teachers can use this CIPP-based evaluation instrument to evaluate the effectiveness of the integrated science learning process that has been carried out so far

Abstract

Based on ISO 17025: 2017 clause 7.7, SNSU BSN as the peak of traceability must have quality assurance for measurement results, this is in line with the peer review result of Electrical Laboratory in 2017 and 2019 that suggest doing an intermediate check to support the quality of the measurement results issued by the Electrical Laboratory of SNSU – BSN. The method used method in this research is intermediate check including establishing the control line from the initial data and examining it every month over the year. The out-of-control measurement result will be analyzed more deeply using F-test and T-Test. The result of this test will be the basis of control line updating. The measurement points used are 100 mV, 1 V, 10 V, 100 V, and 1000 V. Over the year, there is no updating in the control line for 100 mV, 1 V, and 10 V because there is no out-of-control measurement result. Besides, there are 2 times control line updating for each 100 V and 1000 V because of artifact movement and drift. Even though it has been updated repeatedly, the last formed control line and the distribution of all data are still in the control line formed by the manufacturer's specifications.

Abstract

Kahoot is a shared learning media application in the classroom with the help of an internet connection that is simple but can be fun for students in improving the learning outcomes of the digital generation. The instrument used is in the form of choice questions to measure learning outcomes. Learning outcomes were analyzed using independent sample t-test based on the acquisition of N-gain. Testing the hypothesis of an increase in learning outcomes has tcount = 5.194 > ttable= 2.048 with a two-sided significance value (Sig. 2-tailed) smaller than = 0.05, i.e. 0.000, meaning that there is a significant difference in student learning outcomes in the control and experimental classes, then on the learning outcomes Ha is accepted and Ho is rejected. The difference in learning outcomes is significant, indicating the influence of the Kahoot application as a learning medium on student learning outcomes. The results of data analysis showed that the increase in student learning outcomes in the experimental class using the Kahoot application increased more than the control class without using the Kahoot application
