Abstract

Digital teaching materials are one of the alternative solutions in the learning process in the era of digitalization 4.0. One of the digital teaching materials that can be developed in digital form is student worksheet. In addition to digital teaching materials, the selection and use of learning models is also important in supporting the learning process in schools. One of the learning models that can be used is the PBL (Problem Based Learning) learning model. This study aims to describe the feasibility of PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet digital teaching materials using the Liveworksheet application for high school students. This type of research is research and development (R&D) using the ADDIE model. The test subjects were students of class XI MIPA PC (Prima Cendekia) Senior High School of 3 Mataram. Data collection techniques through observation and distribution of questionnaires. The data obtained were analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively using quantitative descriptive statistics. The results showed that the PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet that had been developed obtained an assessment score from expert validation of 0.86 (very valid) with 90.6% reliability (reliable) and practitioner validation of 0.83 (very valid) with 95.55% reliability (reliable). Based on these results, it can be concluded that the PBL-based sound wave electronic student worksheet is proven valid so that it is suitable for use in the learning process in schools.

Abstract

The educational curriculum facilitates students to improve their abilities in dealing with the 4.0 era, where students are asked to get used to solving problems, critically, and creatively. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS) Learning Model Assisted by Interactive Multimedia to improve Creative Thinking Ability and Learning Outcomes of MAN 1 Mataram Students. The type of research used is a quasi-experimental (quasi-experimental). Place and Time of Research The research was conducted at MAN 1 Mataram. The study was conducted from 12 February to 17 April 2022. The population in this study were all students of class X MAN 1 Mataram which consisted of 2 classes with a total of 64 people. The steps taken in experimental research are: (1) giving a pretest to both groups; (2) perform the treatment by applying the interactive multimedia assisted SSCS model in the experimental group and the SSCS learning model in the control group; (3) give posttest to both groups. The research design used a nonrandomized control group pretest-posttest design. The analytical technique used is SPSS consisting of Levene univariate homogeneity test, Kolmogorov Smirnov normality test. Furthermore, the analysis of the effect of treatment on each group uses the paired t-test with the condition that the decision is made if the value of Sig <0.05. The last step is to test the difference in the final ability in the two classes using an independent t test with the condition that the decision is made if the value of Sig < 0.05. The results showed that the results of the difference test in the control group and the experimental group showed that there was an effect of using the Search, Solve, Create, and Share (SSCS)  Model.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim of seeing the feasibility and practicality of problem-based e-modules using Flip PDF corporate edition. The type of research used is 'Research and'Development or R&D modeled ADDIE from analyzing, designing, developing, implementing, and evaluating. This research was only carried out until the development stage in the form of a trial, namely looking at the feasibility and practicality of the physics e-module media. Furthermore, the subject in this study is a student of the Physics education study program FKIP Samudra University. The data collection instruments and techniques used in this study are questionnaires on the feasibility and practicality of problem-based e-modules using flip PDF corporate edition. The result of the data calculation is a problem-based basic physics electronic module using flip pdf corporate edition which has been designed very feasible to be developed with an average score of 92.3%. Furthermore, the problem-based basic physics electronic module using Flip Pdf corporate edition is in accordance with student needs, and is very practical to be used in a learning or educational system with an average score of 88.2%.

Abstract

Computational chemistry is a branch of chemistry which is the theoretical translated into computer programs to calculate the properties of molecules and their changes. This study analyzes the need of computational-based chemistry practicum in the Basic Chemistry course at the Chemistry Education Study Program at Samudra University. This study was done by survey technique. Aspects analyzed in this study include: module analysis through a review of the Basic Chemistry practicum module used by the Chemistry Education study program, needs analysis through students' perceptions that has been carried out, and literatures analysis through computational studies for Basic Chemistry that have been developed. Basic Chemistry practicum implemented in Chemistry Education is a verification practicum (conventional), and it is necessary to implement a practicum that gives more freedom to students in exploring. Basic chemistry practicum in Chemistry Education is also not based on computational, so it is necessary to develop basic chemistry practicum activities that provide computational problem solving

Abstract

Students and even teachers, particularly in elementary schools, continue to have misconceptions about free fall. When using traditional learning methods, it is difficult to change these misconceptions. The purpose of this article is to reconstruct elementary school students' conceptions using a reflective conceptual change model (RCCM) aided by visual multimedia. The research design is quasi-experimental. The participants in this study were grade 4 elementary school students, 20 of whom were female and 10 of whom were male. A four-tiered test and an observation sheet were used as research instruments. Using data analysis, the findings revealed that all students had a new perspective on free fall. Male students improved their conceptual revisions better than female students. There are 90% of male students experiencing a conceptual change from misconception to scientific conception, compared to 15% of female students. RCCM assisted by visual multimedia can improve students' conception to a higher level

Abstract

This research was a development research that aims to: describe feasibility, practitioner assessment, effectiveness in learning, then produce a problem-based physics e-module. The subjects of this research were 33 students of class XI IPA MA DDI Alliritengae. This research used the ADDIE model development. The instruments that were used in this research were e-module validation sheets, practitioner response questionnaires (educators/teachers), and students' conceptual understanding test instruments. The eligibility criteria for e-modules can be seen from the aspect of validity. The practical criteria can be seen from the practitioner's assessment of the e-module, and the effectiveness criteria can be seen from the increasing students' concept understanding test results. Based on the results, it can be concluded: The developing problem-based physics e-module, based on expert judgment used the Aiken V index analysis, was declared valid and suitable for use with minor revisions; The problem-based physics e-module in terms of the response of physics teachers was in “very good” category; The students’ conceptual understanding ability analyzed with N-gain obtained an average value of 0.42 that was in the medium category which means that there was an increasing in students' conceptual understanding abilities so that it can be concluded that The problem-based physics e-module developed was effective in improving students' conceptual understanding skills

Abstract

Long beans are short-lived plants that are widely cultivated in Indonesia. To stimulate the growth of long beans, it is necessary to fertilize with the appropriate dose for its growth. Research on the effect of vermicompost and NPK fertilizer has been carried out in Mertak Umbak Village, Central Lombok. The purpose of the research was to determine the effect of the application of vermicompost on the growth of long beans, the effect of the application of NPK fertilizer on the growth of long beans and the interaction effect of the application of vermicompost and NPK fertilizer on the growth of long beans. The research was carried out with a 2-factor design and 4 replications. The research data were analyzed by analysis of variance. In this study, the results showed that the treatment of vermicompost significantly increased the number of leaves and plant height, but could not increase the length and width of the long bean leaves, the application of NPK fertilizer could increase the leaf length, leaf width, number of leaves and stem length of long beans and the interaction of vermicompost and NPK fertilizer treatment did not significantly affect all measured long bean growth parameters

Abstract

The use of instructional media is very necessary in learning physics, because many abstract phenomena and natural phenomena are difficult to understand both by students without the right means. Sound wave material which is dominated by theories and concepts requires a learning media that packs concepts to be effective and improves students' problem solving abilities. Problem solving ability is one of the goals of forming 21st century skills. The times have also brought progress in education, including interactive multimedia-based learning media such as web-based learning media such as Google sites. This study aims to determine the application of learning media based on google sites web-based learning media, the subject of sound waves to improve students' ability to solve physics problems. The type of research used is descriptive quantitative with the research design of MDLC (Multimedia Development Life Cycle). The research subjects were 31 students at XI MIPA 1 MAN 1 Situbondo. Web-based learning media google sites is declared effective in improving students' problem-solving skills if they meet the criteria for the average level of effectiveness of the n-gain score. The n-gain data was obtained through the students' pretest and posttest scores, and the average pre-test score was 59.35 and the post-test average score was 76.74. While the average percentage of N-gain is 44.03% which states the medium category, meaning that the developed web learning media can improve the problem solving ability of physics students. The student response questionnaire after using the media is in the very good category, with the average percentage of student responses to the learning media that has been given which is 82%. The results of these data indicate that the learning media has an attractive design for students and easy operation. So it can be concluded that the google sites web-based learning media with the subject of sound waves meets the criteria of a good learning media and is able to improve students' problem solving skills at MAN 1 Situbondo

Abstract

It is important for students to comprehend the concepts as the ability not only to understand, but also to be able to apply the concepts given to solve a problem, and to think critically about the problems during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to determine the improvement differences of students' critical thinking skills after the application of the case method model learning based on character values ​​in the reproductive system material in SMA IT Al-Fityan and SMA IT Al-Arabiyah. The research method included quasi-experimental research with a pretest-posttest non-equivalent control group design with a sample of 116 students. Data collection techniques used was students' learning outcomes data by using pretest and posttest questions in the form of multiple choices with reasons. The questions were according to the indicators that must be achieved during learning process. Then the data was analyzed by using the average value of the pretest and posttest, then the average difference test was carried out. Hypothesis testing for students' critical thinking skills was analyzed by using = 0.05 with a significant level of 0.95% with the following test criteria: If tCount < tTable then Ho is accepted, and if tCount ≥ tTable then Ho is rejected. The study results in the findings that: 1) Improvement in students' critical thinking skills by applying case method learning models based on character values ​​in reproductive system materials; 2) The character value of students was greatly improved during learning process and when students are in the environment; 3) The relation between improving critical thinking skills and character values ​​in the learning process was excellent.

Abstract

The understanding of student concepts found in the field in straight motion materials is still relatively low and the unavailability of teaching materials or multimedia can increase students' understanding of concepts. One solution to be able to solve this problem is to design interactive multimedia based on cognitive conflicts. This study aims to design interactive multimedia based on cognitive conflicts on valid straight-motion materials. Interactive Multimedia based on cognitive conflicts as teaching material to improve understanding of student concepts based on assessments from experts. This research uses a development research method (Design Research) with a group development model. However, the research carried out is limited to the Development or Prototyping phase stage of the expert review section. The object of this study is interactive multimedia based on cognitive conflicts. The data collection instruments in this study are educator questionnaires, journal analysis sheets, and validity test sheets. The data were analyzed using the Percentage technique and the V-Aiken formula. The results of the study obtained interactive multimedia design using Adobe Animate CC software which can be used on student smartphones. This interactive multimedia is compiled based on syntactic cognitive conflict-based learning models. The validity of the product obtained from the assessment of experts obtained the average value of the product, which was 0.81 with a valid category. Interactive multimedia is proven to be valid in terms of material substance, learning design, visual communication display, and use of software
