This research aimed to describe the social capital empowerment based on community culture in implementing Noble Character Education Curriculum in SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. This study was descriptive qualitative research with naturalistic approach. The research was taken place in SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interview, observation and document analysis. The research instrument was the author himself as data collector. Data validation was carried out using triangulation, recheck, and peer debriefing techniques. Data analysis was conducted using an interactive technique of analysis encompassing data collection, data reduction, data display, and verification/conclusion drawing. From the result of research, the following conclusions could be drawn. (1) The synergic cooperation network based on mutual trust and shared value/norm was the social capital that had been empowered in the attempt of supporting the implementation of noble character education curriculum policy in SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta. (2) Social Capital supports the creation of noble character- and religion-based school culture in SMP Muhammadiyah 5 Surakarta and community culture. This condition was a main cultural capital utilized and managed in implementing the Noble Character-Education Curriculum.

In Arabic, dhomir is divided into : Munfashil, namely 1st person (Mutakallim) pronoun that can be stand as autonomous word. And Muttasil, is 2nd person (Mukhotob) and 3rd person (Ghaibun), which embeeded after the word. and their form are used for singular, two person and plural. The objectives of this research is the form of dhomir that representing the main characters in the story. Here, dhomir are subtitutes characters such as: Alloh Al Mighty, Moses, Aaron, Pharaoh, and Israelian. As conclusion, dhomir clearly summarize or ihtisar of the pronoun of Alloh, Moses Aaron and Pharaoh.

This article explains the result of research that aim to test whether introverted students’ speaking skill who were taught by using adventure game better than introverted student’s speaking skill who were taught by using pictures toward introverted students’ speaking skill in descriptive text of SMPN 1 Talamau. This research was a quasi experimental research. The population of this research was the VIII grade students of SMPN 1 Talamau .There were five parallel classes that totalized 125 students. The sample of this research was class VIII4 and VIII5. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling. The instruments were questionnaire of students’ personality and speaking test. The data were analyzed by t-test formula. The result of this research were introverted students’ speaking skill who were taught by using adventure game was better than introverted students’ speaking skill who were taught by using picture. It can be concluded that adventure game gave significant effect toward introverted students’ speaking skill at SMPN 1 Talamau

The story of purwa leather puppet is replete with ecological and environmental values. The concept of environment or natural state in purwa leather puppet performance is presented by the puppet master in the form of turbulence, janturan, pocapan, and prampogan. Besides being stated by the puppet master, the concept of environment is also found in stories and pictures. The concept of water in the purwa puppet story is found in the play namely Ramayana, Dewa Ruci, Karna Tandhing, Adon-adon Rajamala, and Cupu Manik Astagina.

The purpose of this study is to know (1) Differences in the ability to write fables between students who subjected to Jigsaw learning model and learning model PBL; (2) Differences in the ability to write fables between students who have high emotional intelligence and low emotional intelligence; (3) Interaction between the learning model and the emotional intelligence of the ability to write fables.This research was conducted in July 2016 - January 2017 at the Junior High School in eight class of 2016/2017 school years. Sampling techniques using Cluster Random Sampling. Research method used is the quasi-experiment. Data collection technique used performance tests and questionnaires closed. The validity test of test performance using the construct validity was reliability using ratings. Validity test of the questionnaire enclosed using the product moment while reliability using Cronbach alpha. Analyzed using ANOVA two lines because the table shows the 2 X 2 factorial.The results of this research after the balance test and test prerequisite is (1) there are differences in the ability to write fables between students who subjected to Jigsaw learning model and PBL learning model; (2) there are differences in the ability to write fables between students who have high emotional intelligence and Low emotional intelligence; (3) there are interaction between the learning model and the emotional intelligence of the ability to write fables.

This article is aimed at explaining the hypotheses of FLA (First Language Acquisition) and children language development. As we know that there are many hypotheses and theories concerning about language FLA and language development as well. Therefore this article attempts to explain the most applicable hypothesis of FLA and also explain the justifications. Then this paper also explains what the sequences stages of children language development.Literally there are only three most prominent related hypotheses dealing with FLA. They are Innateness or nativism, behaviorism, and cognitivism. From those three hypotheses the author regards that the most applicable hypotheses dealing with FLA is innateness hypothesis. It explains that children automatically acquire language because they are equipped with a special language device called LAD (Language Acquisition Device) in their brain. While the other two are more appropriate to explain second language learning or SLA.Then concerning the language development of children, basically there are three main processes of language acquisition. They are phonological development, syntactical development, and semantic development.

Maxim infringement is one of non-observance maxim which occurs when the speaker has no intention to make an implicature because the speaker is incapable to speak clearly. Generally infringing stems from imperfect linguistic performance or from impaired linguistic performance. Objectives of this research is about maxim infringement brought by Captain Haddock in a comic series of The Adventure of Tintin. The researcher found that 80% of maxim infringement occured because Captain Haddock was under the influence of liquor and the rest occured when He was on critical situation betweeen life and death. The researcher found connection between maxim infringement and speech act theory, even supposing maxim infringement result in failure of the speaker in generating implicature. As conclusion, maxim infringement brought by the character of Captain Haddok shows that it happens mostly because the speaker temporaly has cognitive impairment to make an implicature caused by under influence of liquor and some critical situations.

Laweyan sub-district of Laweyan district in the city of Surakarta has been popularly known as the center of batik industry, which has experienced a glorious period as it did in the early 20th century and also experienced a downturn from the 1980s until the 1990s. In its downturn, there were even many appearing young craftsmans who are ductile pioneering batik making business and was able to survive until now (2017). Thus, the batik industries at Laweyan have been secured from extinction. In 2004 Laweyan Village area was officially used as a tourism destination named Kampoeng Batik Laweyan along with the goals to revive the glory of Laweyan batik.The main problem in this research is the survival ability of batik making business in Kampoeng Batik Laweyan, having seen from the dynamics aspect of the decoration which is shown on the fabric processed through the process of making batik. This research is exhibit from the aesthetic, economic, and consistently to upright the approach of historical aspect. The qualitative research used direct observation techniques and in-depth interviews to obtain information from relevant informants.This research concludes that: 1) The Laweyan craftsman are able to produce art of batik handicrafts dynamically and competitively with a variety of ornaments; 2) Every batik company has always presented superior product in the form of batik along with the ornament of special character distinguishing them from other company. In every batik company has always pursue the excellence of both quality and quantity of the products, 4) Begining from 2004 Laweyan Urban Village became a tourist destination under the name of Kampoeng Batik Laweyan, the artisans began to adapt and make batik with a more dynamic decoration, such as souvenirs for tourists.

Perkembangan budaya selalu menyesuaikan dari perkembangan pola pikir manusia. Manusia tidak akan berhenti berkreativitas karena manusia makluk yang menggunakan daya imajinasi, daya pikirnya yang selalu ingin berkarya. Karya manusia dapat berupa tembang, batik, perhiasan, tari, karawitan, bahkan pusaka (keris, tombak, pedang, cundrik).Hasil karya yang lainnya dapat berupa karya animasi film yang mengambil cerita pandawa dan kurawa. Cerita pandawa dan kurawa merupakan cerita yang mengambil dari epos mahabarata dan ramayana. Kreativitas seniman dengan membuat cerita pandawa dan kurawa dapat dinikmati tidak versi yang lain. Budaya berkembang dan disesuaikan dimana masyarakat yang mengkomsumsi budayanya. Pembuatan animasi film tokoh pandawa kurawa dapat memberikan inspirasi seniman selalu berkarya dengan imajinasi yang tinggi. Tokoh pandawa dan kurawa memiliki ajaran falsafah kehidupan dengan karakter tokoh dapat memberikan contoh bahwa ksatria yang berjumlah seratus dapat dikalahkan dengan tokoh ksatria yang berjumlah lima (pandawa). Karakter pada tokoh dapat dijadikan falsafah hidup bahwa kejahatan dimanapun akan tersingkir dan yang baik yang akan menang. Kebaikan akan berbicara hal ini sebuah falsafah Jawa “ wong salah bakale seleh”, “ wong jujur bakale mujur”,” wong goroh bakale sengsara”, falsafah hidup masyarakat Jawa akan memberikan pandangan hidup tentang kehidupan.

This research analyses the semantic process in two local languages; Sundanese and Javanese existed in Indonesia, which is focused on homonymy. This research is aimed to find the homonymy in form of homograph in common words which is existed in both languages and how many homographs that have similar syntactic category. The methodology used in this research is qualitative where participative observation is employed first and later on structured interview is employed. The results shows that there are nine homographs which are homonymy between languages despite some of them share similar syntactic categories, however, the meaning is completely different from one to another.
