Abstract

This study aims to explore the paradoxical character values on visual semiotics wayang purwa of Raseksa and Satria profiles. Satria and Raseksa figures were selected using a purposive sampling technique, through wayang Pandavas and Kuravas. The study was designed with qualitative research approach; the data were collected using the techniques of interviews, observation, and document analysis. The data were analyzed following the steps of data reduction, data display, and verification. The results of the research revealed that in wayang, the Raseksa and Satria figures represent a paradoxical representation of both the external structure and the inner structure. The outer structure is in the form of wayang purwa visual elements, which turns out to be the opposite shape from both Pandavas and Kuravas figures. The inner structure is more about the inseparable meaning and value from the outer structure. In semiotics, the visual element (outer structure) of Pandavas and Kuravas figures can be represented or interpreted based on their values and meanings (inner structure) in addition to show a conflict of meaning. The paradoxical cultural value in Javanese culture is essentially learning experienced-based humanity values manifested through puppet characters. This is exemplified by the Islamic example of the Prophet Muhammad and its mandatory and impossible natures.  The wayang Satria may represent the obligatory nature (good character), and wayang Raseksa represent the impossible (bad character) of humans.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of enculturation of mask art with a case study in the wooden batik (batik Kayu) enterprise of Bobung Village, Patuk, Gunung Kidul, Yogyakarta. This study method uses a netnographic approach, which in principle is the same as classical ethnography, except that netnography uses the internet as a research media. The data were sourced from informants, places & events, and documents or archives. Data from informants were collected using in-depth online interviews. Place and event data were collected using online participatory observation techniques. In addition, the source documents or archives were collected using data analysis techniques or literature studies on relevant online data. The validity of the data was tested by using informant review techniques and source triangulation. Data were analyzed using flow techniques with data reduction, display, and verification procedures. The results of the study show that the process of enculturation or culture of mask art, both classic masks and creative masks (batik Kayu), is carried out informally (family environment), non-formal (community, UKM, and studio), and formal (learning in schools). This enculturation process is carried out from generation to generation, when the mask is still a classic mask (Panji mask) until the mask develops into a superior product with economic and tourism value as it is today (Creative Mask). The art of batik and classical masks has become the identity of the people of Bobung Village, Gunung Kidul, who have undergone changes in form, function and meaning during the enculturation process from previous generations to the next.

Abstract

ABSTRACTBackground: The province of NTB had the prevalence of underweight 30.5% in 2010 for children under five, this figure is above the national prevalence. A nutrition improvement through community empowerment (NICE) has been developed aimed to supporting community nutrition service to overcome nutrition and health problem independently. One of the programs is CNP (community nutrition package) which got the highest fund allocation compared to other NICE program.Objectives: To evaluate the effect of CNP supplementation in NTB Province to the increase of nutritional status of children under five through index of weight by age and performance of posyandu.Methods: The study was evaluative with quantitative and qualitative method and one group pre and post test design, from January to April 2012 at 4 districts/ municipalities area of NICE Project, comprising 72 villages/cities that received CNP in 533 posyandu with 7,975 of children under fives. Posyandu’s performance was measured by baseline data collection for NICE project questionairre, weight measured by scale, and indepth interview was made to individuals administering CNP before and after receiving the package. Samples were randomly selected. Data analysis used paired t-test.Results: There was significant difference in performance of posyandu (p< 0.001, 95% CI: 9.88-11.05) and nutritional status of children under five based on index of weight/age (p<0.001, 95% CI: -1.23 to -1.32) before and after CNP supplementation. CNP supplementation increased performance of posyandu, but did not increase the nutritional status of children under five (index of weight/age). There were supporting factors of community nutrition supplementation such as human resources, participation across sectors, villages and community/religious leaders and integration with other programs (PNPM-Mandiri, GSC, local budget).Conclusions: CNP supplementation affected performance of posyandu but did not increase nutritional status of children under five at Province of NTB in 2011.KEYWORDS: NICE project, nutritional status, performance of posyandu, children under fiveABSTRAKLatar belakang: Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat memiliki prevalensi balita underweight di atas prevalensi nasional, yaitu sebesar 30,5 persen tahun 2010. Proyek perbaikan gizi NICE (nutrition improvement through community empowerment) dikembangkan melalui pemberdayaan masyarakat untuk mendukung pelayanan gizi masyarakat. Salah satu programnya adalah paket gizi masyarakat (PGM) yang mendapat alokasi dana paling tinggi dibanding proyek NICE yang lain.Tujuan: Mengevaluasi pengaruh pemberian PGM di Provinsi NTB terhadap peningkatan status gizi balita indeks berat badan menurut umur dan kinerja posyandu.Metode: Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian evaluatif menggunakan metode kuantitatif dan kualitatif pada bulan Januari sampai dengan April 2012. Penelitian menggunakan rancangan one group pre and post test design. Penelitian dilaksanakan di 4 kabupaten/kota wilayah NICE mencakup 72 desa/kota yang mendapat PGM dengan jumlah posyandu sebanyak 533 dan 7.975 balita. Pengukuran kinerja posyandu menggunakan kuesioner yang diadopsi dari baseline data collection for NICE project, pengukuran berat badan menggunakan dacin dan indepth interview dilakukan pada pengelola PGM sebelum dan sesudah PGM. Pemilihan subjek penelitian dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Analisis data menggunakan paired t-test.Hasil: Terdapat perbedaan bermakna kinerja posyandu (nilai p<0,001, 95% CI: 9,885763-11,05232) dan status gizi balita menurut indeks BB/U (nilai p< 0,001, 95% CI: -1,233254-1,321063) antara sebelum dan sesudah pemberian PGM. Kinerja posyandu meningkat setelah pemberian PGM, namun belum mampu meningkatkan status gizi balita (indeks BB/U) di Provinsi NTB tahun 2011. Terdapat faktor pendukung pemberian PGM di antaranya kualitas sumber daya manusia (SDM) kelompok gizi masyarakat (KGM), keterlibatan lintas sektor, desa/ kelurahan, dan tokoh masyarakat/agama serta keterpaduan program lainnya (PNPM-Mandiri, GSC, dana daerah).Kesimpulan: Pemberian paket gizi masyarakat berpengaruh terhadap kinerja posyandu tetapi belum mampu meningkatkan status gizi balita di Provinsi NTB tahun 2011.KATA KUNCI: proyek NICE, status gizi, kinerja posyandu, balita

Abstract

Abstrak: Pendidikan Abad 21 dihadapkan pada sejumlah tantangan dan peluang yang dituntut untuk terus – menerus melakukan antisipasi dan penyesuaian diri agar dapat menghasilkan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Pendidikan Abad 21 ditandai dengan perkembangan teknologi yang luar biasa pesat sehingga dunia pendidikan harus selalu meningkatkan mutu pendidikan melalui berbagai macam usaha dan pembaharuan yang inovatif. Salah satu usaha dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan adalah dengan melalui proses pembelajaran yang efektif dan dengan menggunakan atau mengembangkan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Salah satu sumber belajar yang dapat digunakan oleh siswa adalah dengan menggunakan media pembelajaran video tutorial. Video tutorial dapat dijadikan sebagai supleman pendukung sebagai solusi dalam mengahasilkan proses pembelajaran efektif. Tujuan penulisan ini adalah untuk mengetahui pemanfaatan video tutorial sebagai suplemen pendukung dalam pembelajaran. Gagasan ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data studi kepustakaan dari berbagai sumber. Berdasarkan hasil penulisan dari berbagai sumber diketahui bahwa proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan video tutorial layak dijadikan sebagai suplemen pendukung. Oleh karena itu, kedepannya perlu dilakukan pembelajaran maupun pembaharuan media pembelajaran video tutorial khususnya di SMK.

Abstract

Panji masks represent faces of figures in the Panji legend. This study is focused on exploring the values of character education in Panji mask structure of knights, giants, and ladies characters from Semiotics perspective as a source of character education reconstruction. The study was conducted descriptively and qualitatively. Data in the from of information were obtained from key informants, places or events, and documents or archives related to Panji Mask. The data were collected through indepth interview techniques, participatory observation, and analysis of documents or archives. The data validity was tested by source triangulation and review informant techniques.The data were analyzed by an interactive analysis model consisting of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The result of the study shows that in the Panji Mask structure of knights, giants, and ladies characters reflect excellent character education values to reconstruct the nation character. This study is important and beneficial as the results suggested by the research might be contributive for the nation character building completing the other researches’ result which mainly focus on Panji Mask in performing arts.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui implementasi learning management system sebagai media digital assessment anak usia dini. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif dengan desain penelitian lapangan. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di TKK ORA et LABORA PAMULANG. Adapun hasil yang didapatkan bahwa penerapan learning management sytem sebagai media digital assessment masih perlu ditingkatkan baik dari segi guru maupun dari pihak ICando. Masih ditemukan beberapa kendala dalam pelaksanaan penilaian secara digital, baik kendala dari guru yang belum fasih menguasai system kerja dalam aplikasi maupun kendala dari ICando yang masih melakukan perbaikan kualitas yang mengakibatkan terjadinya dropdown software.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the types of student errors in trigonometry material based on Newman's theory and the causes of these errors. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive research type. Research instruments in the form of tests, interviews, and documentation. In this study, 3 subjects with different abilities were taken, namely students with high abilities, students with moderate abilities and students with low abilities. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: the most frequent types of errors made by the first students were comprehension errors or errors in understanding information. Second, process skill errors or calculation process skill errors. Third, the transformation error or error determines the formula where students are wrong in writing the formula to be used. Fourth, encoding errors. The causative factor is that students do not understand the concept of trigonometry material and do not master the concept so that students are unable to relate it to the previous material. Students do not know the problem-solving techniques, are not careful in working and are in a hurry or cannot take advantage of the time allotted.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggali hubungan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat yang dimediasi kesiapan belajar mandiri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif korelasional, pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner kepada populasi mahasiswa Pendidikan Ekonomi Universitas Sebelas Maret Surakarta angkatan tahun 2019, 2020, dan 2021 sebanyak 317 dan subjek penelitian sebanyak 177. Teknik pengambilan sampel dengan proportioned random sampling. Pengukuran dilakukan terhadap konsepsi belajar-mengajar, kesiapan belajar mandiri, dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat. Analisis statistik menggunakan metode regresi dan analisis jalur untuk mengevaluasi hubungan antara variabel-variabel tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) terdapat hubungan positif antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis dan kesiapan belajar mandiri (2) konsepsi belajar-mengajar tradisional memiliki hubungan positif dengan kesiapan belajar mandiri (3) terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis terhadap kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat (4) terdapat hubungan positif yang rendah antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar tradisional dan tidak berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat (5) antara kesiapan belajar mandiri dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat terdapat hubungan positif dan signifikan. Hasil uji sobel kesiapan belajar mandiri dapat memediasi pada hubungan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat berbeda dengan hubungan antara konsepsi belajar-mengajar tradisional dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat, peran kesiapan belajar mandiri tidak dapat memediasi dengan hasil nilai t hitung 0,943 < 1,973. Hasil penelitian disimpulkan bahwa kesiapan belajar mandiri dapat memediasi antara hubungan konsepsi belajar-mengajar konstruktivis dan kecenderungan belajar sepanjang hayat.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of implementing integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to the learning activities of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Bangkala III Makassar City. This research is a quantitative research with the type of experimental research with the pre-experimental form of one group pretest-posttest design. The sample in this study was class IVB as many as 23 people consisting of 14 male students and 9 female students. The sampling technique in this study was by simple random sampling. Data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used descriptive analysis and inferential statistical analysis with the help of the SPSS version 20 computer program. The results of this study indicate that the teacher's ability to carry out integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to student learning activities gets an average of 3.2, which means well implemented, the assessment student activity in learning gets an average of 3.0 in the good category, then for the assessment of student activity in integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach gets an average of 3.1 in the good category. As for the results of implementing integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to the learning activities of class IVB students, the results of inferential analysis are described, where the normality test data is 0.078, the homogeneity test is 0.087 and the T test results are 0.000. So that the results of the study show that there is an effect of implementing integrative thematic learning with a scientific approach to the learning activities of fourth grade students at SD Inpres Bangkala III Makassar City.

Abstract

The research aims to determine the effect of Introduction to the Schooling Field (PLP) on soft skills moderated by gender in students of the Office Administration Education, Accounting Education, and Economic Education Study Program at UNS involved 183 students from the 2018-2019 class who had taken part in PLP activities. The sampling technique in this research used proportional random sampling with data collection through questionnaires. The sub-group moderation method is used as a data analysis technique. The results obtained in this research are: (1) There is a positive and significant influence between PLP and soft skills. (2) Gender does not strengthen the influence of PLP on soft skills. The research results show that the PLP's ability to influence soft skills is very weak, this is because there is a gap between the soft skills competency score and the final PLP score.
