Abstract

This Research analyzed that comparative advantage and competitive of broiler chicken’s livestock business in Musuk Subdistrict of Boyolali Regency. For sampling uses a Saturated Sampling technique (census method) by taking all available samples as many thirty-two sample of broiler’s breeder around Musuk Subdistrict. To analyzed chicken livestock business uses Policy Analysis Matrik (PAM) and Ms. Excel as analysis tools. The result of this research shows that PCR (Private Cost Ratio) value  <1  is  0,63  that  means  the  commodity  system  of  broiler  chicken  which  is cultivated by breeder has a small competitive advantage. In addition to defraying domestic factor at private price, breeders are also able to compete with broiler chickens  livestock  business  in  other  region.  A  commodity  has  a  comparative advantage if it has DRCR (Domestic Resources Cost Ratio) value <1, the meaning is the profit obtained by the breeder is grater than the cost of social input non tradable. In case of broiler chickens in Musuk Subdistrict obtained grade DRCR <1 is 0,95 that means livestock business   produced has comparative competitiveness because it is able to finance domestic factors at social prices and is economically efficient.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze institutional melinjo chips MSMEs, identify internal and external factors, formulate strategies for improving the competitiveness of melinjo chips MSMEs, and prioritizing strategies for improving the competitiveness of melinjo chips MSMEs in Magetan regency. The research methods used include: Descriptive Analysis, SWOT Analysis, SWOT matrix, and AHP. The results showed that: (1) there are 4 structure of the supply chain in the distribution of products chips melinjo, and the main institutional sectors in improving the competitiveness of melinjo chips MSMEs, namely the public  sector,  voluntary  sector  and  private  sector;  (2)  identification  of  internal  and external factors obtained strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats in improving the competitiveness of melinjo chips MSMEs; (3) matrix SWOT produced 10 alternative strategies to increase competitiveness; (4) priority strategy in improving the competitiveness of melinjo chips MSMEs is provide training and guidance to the next generation  about  the  importance  of  business  continuity  that  has  quality  products according  to  market  demand,  establish  cooperation  with  suppliers  to  ensure  theavailability of raw materials; and improve product quality and maximum service to maintain consumer confidence.

Abstract

This study examines socioeconomic factors on consumer loyalty in choosing to shop at the traditional Ampel market in Boyolali Regency. In order for traditional markets to survive and develop in the competitive business world in competing for consumers, it must be able to understand it’s consumers. Many factors can influence consumer loyalty in choosing to shop in traditional markets. In this study the factors that are thought to influence are product prices, product quality, merchant service, product location and market days. The type of research used is a survey with 50 sampling using incidental sampling. The type of data used is primary data and secondary data. Data collection techniques using questionnaires and data analysis techniques used multiple linear regression. Instrument test results show all valid and reliable. Multiple linear regression test shows Y = -9,199 + 0.510 X1 + 0.460 X2 - 0.192 X3 + 0.708 X4 + 0.551 X5. It is shows that product price variables, product quality, market location and market day have a positive effect on consumer loyalty.

Abstract

The research aims to find out the considered factors and the dominant variables which considered by consumers into buying Bimoli’s cooking oil at supermarket in Wonogiri regency. The basic method in this research is analytical descriptive with survey techniques. Location research purposively determined. The sampling method used was judgment sampling and data analysis method used is factor analysis. The data used are primary data and secondary data. The results of factor analysis  showed that  there  are  7 factors  that  become  consumer  consideration  in buying Bimoli cooking oil product at supermarket in Wonogiri regency. The seven factors are based on their priorities are product factors, individual factors, promotion factors, packaging factors, process factors, place factors, and psychological factors. The  dominant  variables  considered  by  consumer  are  clarity  variable  on  product factor, variable of income level on individual factor, advertisement display variable on promotion factor, image variable and color of packaging on packing factor, service variable on process factor, comfort variable at place factor, and Confidence variable on psychological factors.

Abstract

The tobacco control and the danger of smoking campaigns have given quite much impact into the lower nicotine and tar cigarettes consumption pattern. This fact affects the higher demand of imported tobacco in which are believed to be better than locals. Object of this research are to analyze trend of Indonesian tobacco import in the next 3 years and analyze factors that influence Indonesian tobacco import. Method of the research used descriptive method which using time series secondary data for 27 years from 1990 to 2016. Data is taken from few institusions and literatures. Analysis method used linier trend and multiple linier regression. Results of this research indicate that from 2018 to 2020 import of Indonesian tobacco trend will increase about 3 percent every year. Consumption of cigarettes kretek industries, income and import tariff affect to Indonesian tobacco import significantly. The increasing of imported tobacco is caused by the high demand of virginia tobacco of cigarettes industries that increased their cigarettes production cause high consumption of mild (low nicotine and tar) cigarettes. Therefore, Indonesia government has to support tobacco’s farmer in developing low nicotine and tar tobacco production that is needed by cigarettes industries through cooperation partnership with cigarettes producer, so the dependency of imported tobacco can be decreased.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are   (1) to know the influence   of product quality, price, service quality toward the customer satisfaction PP Kerja and (2) to know the influence of product quality, price, service quality and customer satisfaction toward the PP Kerja’s customer loyalty. The research here used explanatory research in this research. The sample used by 50 farmers who are customers of PP Kerja. The sampling technique using Convenience Sampling. Data were collected by questionnaire. The technique of collecting data was solved through observation, interviews and recording. Analysis of the data used is descriptive analysis and path analysis (path analysis). The results of this research showed that (1) the product quality  (X1),  price  (X2)  and  service  quality  (X3)  simultaneously  influenced  the customer satisfaction of PP Kerja (Y1). The total influenced of each variabel is 0,339;0.178 and 0.543. (2) the product quality (X1), price (X2), service quality (X3) and customer satisfaction (Y1) simultaneously influenced the customer loyalty of PP Kerja (Y2). The price variable could influence the total of customer satisfaction 0,222; the service quality variable 0,362 and the customer satisfaction variable 0,442 it could give influence toward the customer satisfaction.

Abstract

Rice Milling Agroindustry was a business engaged in time after rice harvest that would process dry milled rice (GKG) into rice. This study aims to obtained cost, income, income and break even point (BEP) in unit (Kg) and price (Rp) of small agroindustry rice mill in Sragen regency. The basic method of research used analytical descriptive method with survey technique. Determination of location of sample sub- district was done by purposive, that was Kedawung, Masaran and Tanon Subdistrict. Respondents were taken with purposive sampling of 30 people. The types and sources of data used from the primary and secondary data. Technical data was done by interview, observation and documentation. The results showed the average amount of operating revenues of IDR 3,440,880,724/year and IDR 478,41,.307/year. The fficiency of the business were 1.16 and can be said to be efficient because the R/C ratio was more than one. Break even point (BEP) of Small rice milling agroindustry business on the basis of price (IDR) has their breakeven business position broken down by the main output of brown rice from IDR 508,027,645, white rice IDR 30,825,245, gloss rice at IDR 181,746,850. BEP on the basis of unit with main product of white rice was equal to66,610 Kg, 36,588 kg of gloss of rice, brown rice of 109.963 Kg.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the pattern of marketing channels, the role and function of marketing agencies, cost, profit, marketing margins, as well as examine the most  economically  efficient  fresh  tuna  fish  marketing  channels  in  Pacitan.  The research location is in Pelabuhan Perikanan Pantai (PPP) Tamperan Pacitan. Methods of sample selection was accidental sampling for fishermen and snowball sampling  for  marketing  agencies.  The  results  showed  that  (1)  there  are  three marketing channels of fresh tuna, namely, the Marketing channel I (fisherman- collector- retailer- household consumers), the channel II (fisherman-collector- industrial consumers in the city) channel III (fishermen – collector – wholesalers). (2) collector has exchange function and physical function, wholesalers have an exchange function, physical function and function facilities, while retailers have exchange function and physical function. (3) In the first line the total cost of Rp 1.3.14,83 / kg, the total profit of Rp 4685.17 / kg, total marketing margin of Rp 6000.00 / kg and the farmer's share of 71.43%. total cost marketing of channel II is Rp 2195.75 / kg, the total profit of Rp 2804.25 / kg, the total margin is Rp 5000.00 / kg and the farmer's share of 83.33%. total cost marketing channel III is Rp 7.455 90 / kg, the total profit of Rp 3544.10 / kg, total marketing margin is Rp 11,000 / kg and the farmer's share of78.43%. (4) Channel II is the most efficient channel economically with farmer's percentage share of 83.33%.

Abstract

This article aims at: (1) describing the existence and transformation of small-scale farmers; (2) identifying the problems of small-scale farmers related to the land tenure pattern, farming system, and institutional aspect; and (3) recommending the policy for small-scale farmers empowerment, case of sub-urban area of Bandung municipality.  The  research  results  show  that  the  existence  and  transformation  of small-scale farmers were degraded. The most problem faced by small-scale farmers in locale of the study was agricultural land conversion to non-agricultural purposes. Consequently, the proportion of small-scale farmers who operate their owned land was decreased and some of them transformed to the status of cultivated farmers either in rented or shared systems or became farm laborers. Moreover, the farm productivity was not optimal while the position of small-scale farmers especially the cultivated farmers became feeble in negotiation with owned land as well as in terms of capital aspect. The empowerment program intervention should be followed by technical assistance in line with aspiration of small-scale farmers toward collectively participatory in the organization of farmers. It should be implemented through participatory young generation both in on-farm and in off-farm activities.

Abstract

This   research   aims   to   find   out   the   effects   of   product   attributes, environmental awareness, the cost of fertilizer usage, subjective norms to the attitude of Petroganik fertilizer purchases also to find out the effects of attitude, subjective norms and cost of fertilizer usage to the intentions of purchasing Petroganik fertilizer. The method used in this research is explanatory methods by using survey techniques. Method taken to determine research location was conducted purposively and this research is done in Nogosari District and Musuk District. The method used for gathering samples with multi stage random sampling. Samples in this research were collected  from  64  respondents  split  from  4  villages  and  8  group  farmers.  The technique of collecting data was solved through observation, interviews, and logging. The analysis of the sample data used for this research is Structural Equation Models (SEM) method and also Partial Least Square (PLS) as an altiernative method. The research finds that (1) product attributes and  environmental awareness positively determinants of  purchase attitudes. (2) subjective norms, purchase attitudes, and cost of fertilizer usage affects the purchase intentions for Petroganik fertilizer.
