Abstract

This research was conducted to find out the strategies implemented in improving employee performance at Arung Palakka Bone Airport. And to find out the effectiveness of implementing employee performance improvement strategies at Arung Palakka Bone Airport.  the type of research used is qualitative research with a case study approach. because the author wants to describe and analyze employee performance improvement strategies at Arung Palakka Bone Airport. This research was conducted at the Arung Palakka Airport Office, Bone District, Awangpone District, Bone District, Airport Road, Mappalo Ulaweng Village. Employee performance improvement strategies are important actions for companies or organizations in an effort to increase productivity, efficiency and quality of work. However, the effectiveness of implementing this strategy depends on various factors, such as the availability of resources, employee involvement, effective leadership, organizational culture , and employee competence. Therefore, Arung Palakka Bone Airport must ensure that employee performance improvement strategies are implemented consistently and evenly for all employees, and ensure that any obstacles that may arise can be properly addressed. Thus, the effectiveness of implementing employee performance improvement strategies is a very important factor for the success of a company or organization, and must be considered carefully so that the goals set can be achieved effectively and efficiently. Research can be used as a reference in determining employee performance improvement strategies in government agencies in general.

Abstract

Use information technology is used as a means that can facilitate a person or an agency in carrying out their work effectively and efficiently. This research is a qualitative descriptive study that aims to determine how effective the use of academic information systems is in the Office Administration Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Makassar. The informants of this research are all parties who are directly involved in the use of academic information systems, namely students, study program operators, lecturers, and SIA managers at the UNM ICT Center. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of data analysis are presented in the form of a description that describes the procedures, constraints, and solutions in the use of the Academic Information System. The results showed that the effectiveness of the use of academic information systems in the Office Administration Education Study Program, Faculty of Social Sciences, Universitas Negeri Makassarwas classified as quite effective in terms of information quality indicators, namely accurate, timely, and relevant.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study using a survey method that aims to determine the partial and simultaneous effect of Dual Play product quality and service quality on PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk IndiHome customer satisfaction, in the KTI Regional Division of Makassar City. The population in this study are all IndiHome customers of the Dual Play package service (Internet + TV and Internet + Phone) of PT Telkom Indonesia Tbk, KTI Regional Division Makassar City as of October 2021, which is 79,499 people. The research sample was taken based on probability sampling technique, while determining the number of samples using the slovin formula with an error rate of 0.05, and determined a sample of 397 customers with certain sample criteria. Whereas, data analysis method used in this study is multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that (1) Dual Play product quality and service quality had a positive and significant partial effect on IndiHome Dual Play (Internet + TV) customer satisfaction in the KTI Regional Division of Makassar City, (2) Dual Play product quality and service quality had an effect positive and simultaneously significant to customer satisfaction of the IndiHome Dual Play (Internet + TV) package in the KTI Regional Division of Makassar City.

Abstract

Competence is an ability that must be possessed by an Industrial Relations Mediator. Because of the competence of an officer, he will be able to carry out work in his field of duty and be able to complete the task with good and correct results. Based on this description, the purpose of this study is to find out and analyze more deeply about the Competence of Industrial Relations Mediators at the Makassar City Manpower Office. This research method uses descriptive qualitative. The informants were as many as nine people. Data collection techniques and instruments with interviews, observations and document reviews. Data analysis techniques by collecting data, reducing data, displaying data, verifying and drawing conclusions. The results showed that the competence of industrial relations mediators in terms of skill aspects is categorized well based on two indicators, namely technical skills and human skills. From the aspect of knowledge is categorized both based on indicators of educational background and disciplines owned by a fairly high Mediator of Induatrial Relations. From the aspect of self-image/attitude, it is categorized as quite good, based on two indicators, namely self-control, the Industrial Relations Mediator is good but from the self-confidence indicator when viewed from the work team, it is good but when viewed from the personal is still inadequate.

Abstract

In essence, the child is unable to protect himself from various kinds that cause mental, physical, social losses in various areas of life and livelihood .  This study aims to determine the Implementation of Child Protection in Somba Opu District. The research method used is a qualitative method to see the relationship between variables. Data collection techniques use interviews, and documentation. The data analysis technique uses several steps according to the theory of Miles, Hubermas and Saldana, namely analyzing the data with three steps: condensing the data, presenting the data, and drawing conclusions or verification. The results of the study based on interviews and observations show that the implementation is not efficient and effective in terms of human resources where the resources in Edwards III theory are one of the indicators that the implementation is efficient and effective, therefore Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2014 according to article 4 letter a on prevention has not been maximized because the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection still requires a large number of human resources. If, in terms of communication indicators, the disposition and bureaucratic structure in Edwards III's theory is said to be effective and efficient implementation because it is interrelated and works as it should.

Abstract

The application of e-government into the  public service sector in the regions is the focus of this research. Electronic-based public services at the Bombana Regency Public Service Mall are the foundation of community expectations to get easy, fast, safe and comfortable access to services. such as service delays, extortion, nepotism and discrimination. Through research findings analyzed with an interactive data analysis model, it shows that the implementation of E-government at MPP Bombana has been based on electronic services by utilizing applications or websites as a medium of communication and information between the government and the community. In addition, the implementation of E-government at MPP Bombana has demonstrated the process of interaction and transactions between governments and service users with a website-based service system that makes it easy for the public to access the public information they need, manage licensing and non-licensing documents quickly, safely and comfortably.  However, MPP Bombana has not been able to develop its E-Government services to a transformational stage so that interconnectivity in an integrated online service system has not been realized.

Abstract

The new paradigm for implementing regional autonomy in Indonesia is basically based on the principles of local democracy and good governance. With this basis, the regional government and the Regional People's Representative Council as local institutions are responsible for the implementation of regional autonomy as a manifestation of local community representation. The shift of power from the center to the regions and the empowerment of the Regional People's Legislative Assembly has formed its own dynamics in the interaction relations of the two institutions so that it is often colored by conflicts that have political compromises in the process of formulating and discussing the General Policy on Budgets-Priorities of Budget Ceilings and Draft Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budgets. . Therefore the formulation of the problem in this study is: What are the determinant factors in the policy formulation process for the 2019 Regional Budget for Fiscal Year in Sidenreng Rappang Regency?. This study aims to: Know the determinant factors in the policy formulation process of the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2019 Fiscal Year in Sidenreng Rappang Regency. This study used a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The results of the study show that the determinant factors in the policy formulation process for the Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget for the 2019 Fiscal Year are: (a) Political factors, (b) the interest of policy-making actors, (c) Capacity factors of policy-making actors, (d) Organizational experience factors of formulating actors and (e) Bargaining of policy formulating actors.

Abstract

Emotional appeals have been widely used in advertising to influence consumer behavior. However, the effectiveness of emotional appeals can vary depending on the age group of the target audience. Understanding how emotional appeals work among different age groups is essential for marketers to design more effective advertising strategies. The objective of this study is to analyze the effectiveness of emotional appeals in advertising among different age groups in Indonesia. This study employed a comparative research design, using a sample of 400 respondents from three age groups (young adults, middle-aged adults, and elderly adults). A survey questionnaire was used to collect data on respondents' emotional responses to different types of emotional appeals used in advertising. The results of this study showed that emotional appeals are more effective among young adults compared to middle-aged and elderly adults. Moreover, the study found that different types of emotional appeals (e.g., fear, humor, and nostalgia) have varying degrees of effectiveness among different age groups.

Abstract

Social media has become a prominent platform for businesses to promote their products and services. However, the impact of social media on consumer decision-making in Indonesia remains unclear. This study aims to investigate the impact of social media on consumer decision-making in Indonesia. An experimental study was conducted on a sample of 100 participants who were exposed to social media advertisements and traditional advertisements. The participants were then asked to make a purchase decision, and their responses were analyzed. The findings of this study indicate that social media has a significant impact on consumer decision-making in Indonesia. Participants who were exposed to social media advertisements were more likely to make a purchase compared to those who were exposed to traditional advertisements.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to compare the performance of employees who listened to music while working to those who did not. This study was conducted at the Business Simulation Laboratory, Department of Business Administration of Ujung Pandang State Polytechnic. This study employed an Experimental Research Method with a quantitative methodology. The total participants, 94, were divided into 2 groups, employees with treatment (listening to the music while working) 48 and employees without treatment, with 46 participants. The study's empirical findings indicated that there were productivity differences between employees who got the treatments (listening to music while working) compared to those who did not. The employee who works with music in the workplace performed a more excellent average performance than those who work without music. Listening to favorite songs encourages employees to improve their work efficiency.
